She had been curled amongst the maroon sheets of their queen sized bed. The Necromancer was looking at her wife with a dazzling smile as she raised an eyebrow. Her fingers lifted to trace fingers along Marjani’s muscled stomach. Her wife was essentially a man within a woman’s body, she had died and come back as a man, curse of a mystic, they were body jumpers she liked to think.
“So I've been thinking.” She started turning onyx hues to her wife fully as she stopped her gentle caress of her wife’s chest. “Do you want to get away? From here. For a while?” She turned her eyes to their dresser where stuck to the mirror was two tickets paid for by Velveteen and Micah for their honeymoon should they decide to go - it was paid for, all they had to do was say where they wanted to go.
“We need our honeymoon” she continued on, shrugged her shoulders. “I know I've been busy with the faction that we couldn't go straight away but I think now is a good time, if you want too.”
Marjani: Mari laid there staring up at the ceiling in their hotel room, thinking about the art her wife had suggested a couple weeks back. Mari wasn’t much of an art person-she had no sense of style when it came to what was ‘in’ and what was ‘out.’ And the woman had a very strong preference to the things she liked or didn’t like. No big stupid flowers,no scenery pictures, no animals...so the piece of art had to be just right.
When nishaa said she had been thinking, Mari rolled over to her side to look at her wife and give the woman her undivided and complete attention. “Yep?” Mari said, wondering if this was about the art thing they had talked about when Micah was in their apartment, or something different. go away-their honeymoon. Mari had been wondering when, if any time, was good enough to get away from the city and do something between just the two of them. Now, seemed like the best time to do that. After having killed her mother, the attacks on people from that crazy paladin guy and other crazy things going on-now seemed as good as any time to Mari. “Yeah baby. Let’s blow this Popsicle stand and do something for us. I’d really like that a lot.” Mari cuddled into her wife, thinking of where they would go. “Where are we going to go? Italy, was it? Where you wanted to go?” Mari snuggled into NIshaa’s neck to breathe in her scent as she imagined what Italy might be like.
<N I S H A A>
The caress of Marjani’s fingers playing across her skin caused her to purr in anticipation of what was to come later on but she was much more focused on what they were doing now, right here. Holiday planning. Yes, they were going on holiday and there was no way they could wriggle themselves out of it. She got herself out of bed unwrapping herself from Marjani’s ticklish embrace she moved, naked to the dresser where she plucked the laptop that rested against the mahogany she took it back to the bed and dropped it on the sheets. She opened it up and looked it over curiously.
She opened up Google and then began to type in “gay” destinations and quite a few places came up. Gay marriage had been announced not so long ago. So they didn't have to hide their love - not that she would have anyway, **** the law. She’d pride her lesbian *** all over Russia if she had too. She scrolled through the destinations and turned her onyx gaze back to her naked wife.
“How does a gay pride holiday sound?” She changed her head to the side and smiled - there was an impish grin to her features.
Marjani: Mari watched her wife moving all over the hotel room, observing every curve of the woman’s body as she moved this and that way. Her eyes stayed on Nishaa’s butt when her back was to Mari, as Nishaa collected the computer and moved to the bed. What Nishaa said after she came back to bed, surprised Mari.
“They have something like that?” Mari was now sitting up crossed legged on the bed, fingers reaching out for the computer, expecting to see some tours or something on the page Nishaa had opened. “Oh!” Mari brought an open palm to her forehead and smacked it. “We have to make our own. That’s okay!” Mari jumped a little on the bed, her naked butt doing the bouncing. “Where can we go? Anywhere? The United States? Germany? Russia?” The possibilities were endless it seemed. Tons of cities, all over the world embraced people’s chosen lifestyle and wanted people to not be ashamed or in hiding. “Let’s go. Wherever, whenever. I just want to go, baby!” Mari released her hold on the computer and set it on the bed, before embracing her wife, still bouncing up and down.
<N I S H A A>
Such an excitable thing her wife was as she grinned at her loves. Her everything and simply nodded her head, they could go anywhere they wanted. The possibilities were endless. They deserved this, they deserved this time away from everything. Just to spend time with each other.
“Russia we’d be shot.” She sighed there, gay haters. They weren't quiet about that ****, disgusted her. If they went to Russia, they'd likely get hurt and it was a holiday after all. “How does Amsterdam, UK, sound? Any location that has a gay couple. Make some friends perhaps? Well. You can do the friend thing I'll nod my head at the humans. Go to a few clubs. Sleep all day.” The more and more she spoke she was falling in love with the idea.
If they did this, it was going to be amazing.
Marjani: Russia didn’t like gay people? Mari frowned at that as she nodded her head in agreement with her wife. They would be shot. Was communism still a thing there? Mari hated social studies and crap like that, so the woman never really paid attention to what was going on anywhere other than Canada.
Her wife suggested a couple places, places Mari had heard about but didn’t know a lot about for the same reason Mari had no idea what Russia’s stance was on gay couples. How can a country be so...behind? Not modern? Whatever the word was, they were nothing like Germany, the United States and other places that were more open to the lifestyle she and her wife lived.
“Let’s go. I don’t care where. I want to do this. I want to go. Soon! When will we go?” Mari leaned on her wife a little, a big smile on her face. “Let’s just go everywhere and make friends!” Mari would be fine with going anywhere that was accepting of the gay lifestyle, even if it took them an entire month. Nish was with her. Nish was all that Mari needed most nights. Nish was her everything.
<N I S H A A>
She found herself laughing at her wife's enthusiasm for leaving. She nodded her head and got back out of bed. This time with the intention of getting dressed she threw on her biker shirt, and her leather trousers with the biker boots to match.
“Well, why don't we go now?” She asked her wife. Grinning from ear to ear. She was already tying her hair back into a ponytail so she was ready to leave. She got on her hands and knees then and withdrew two suitcases and threw them both on the bed.
“Let's pack.” She told her with a grin, as she opened up her drawers and began to chuck her clothes into the one suitcase, because she simply just didn't believe in folding. She was even throwing her toothbrush in amongst the clothes. Once everything had been thrown in she grabbed the laptop again and pulled up the family crownet and was writing a message in the away thread letting them know they were going on holiday for a month as a belated honeymoon. She clicked submit and turned her onyx hues to her wife.
“I made a post, it's official. We are going on our honeymoon.”
Marjani: Mari watched her wife get dressed after vacating the bed and then blinked when Nishaa asked her about leaving now. “Right now?” Mari wasn’t sure if she meant later today or right this second. Could they just up and leave right this second? Why couldn’t they, she pondered.
But there wasn’t much time to ponder over any of those thoughts. Nishaa was hauling out a suitcase for the both of them and putting them on the bed. Two words let Mari know that her wife was dead set on leaving right now for their trip. As in this second. “Baby, I think..” Mari got up off the bed and started to fold all the clothing her wife wanted to bring-or more like roll them and stick them inside the suitcase while her wife was grabbing stuff from other place in their hotel room.
After that was done, Mari followed Nishaa’s example and started packing her own clothing in the suitcase that was hers. “How long are we going to go for and where are we going to first?” Mari asked while Nishaa was busy typing away at her computer. The woman couldn’t contain her smile as Nishaa informed her that they were finally going on their honeymoon. Right now, right this minute-it had all started.
<N I S H A A>
Mari had said something which had stopped Nishaa from doing whatever the hell the woman had been doing. She was far too excited about this trip, she wanted to do everything. Absolutely everything with the woman right now. Marjani didn’t continue speaking instead the woman went over to her things and began to fold them - even though she was throwing them in. It made the necromancer laugh to know that her wife was cleaning up after her own excitement. She had never been holiday, and this was still extremely exciting for the woman. She’d never had a passport before, never been on a plane. The only way she got around before she got here was by truck - and that was hitchhiking post of the time.
She asked then how long they were going to go away for and the woman shrugged her shoulders, she didn’t have an exact time frame. She didn’t really care she would leave that answer to her wife. “However long you would like to go for. I don’t care, I don’t mind.” There was a brief pause. “As long as I’m with you.” She grinned then. Because that statement was mushy, especially for the woman. She threw her a wink then as she began to hunt through her wife’s drawers and was now starting to throw her items of clothing inside.
Marjani: They could leave immediately and go for weeks. Maybe even a month. It sounded...wonderful. And yet...impossible too. How would she be able to be gone that long and keep her job with Mayhem? How could Nishaa be gone for her...work with her faction?
Still, Mari wouldn’t complain, even if it was for just a couple weeks, a couple weeks between them, all alone was the best idea her wife could have presented Mari with. Marjani would have told her wife as much, had she not been getting her own clothing tossed at her. “Baby...we have to roll things. Otherwise they’re gonna be crazy wrinkled.” Mari laughed as she watched her wife pack enough clothes that would probably last them a week and a half without having to do any laundry. “Let’s start the furthest away from here and circle our way back.” Mari bounced a little, a form fitting, white and black patterned t-shirt tucked between her arms and chest. “What do you think? Would break up the trip on the way back?” She stuffed the rolled up t-shirt in her own bag and went to working on another shirt to roll.
<N I S H A A>
She knew that her faction, more likely Micah and Velveteen would be alright with Nishaa taking some time away with her wife for their honeymoon. It was good and it was needed, they knew just as much as she did that time away from everyone else was good - so very good. She grinned grabbing her mobile and sending them both a text that she would be away for a little bit, exploring Europe for a while with Mari - hunting out those gay capitals.
“You roll then, I’ll throw.” She gave the woman a wink and began to rummage through Mari’s drawers picking up things that she knew she’d like and threw them at Mari so she could fold them but she was much better at it than her - Nishaa just wanted it to be done so they could go, the sooner the better in the necromancers eyes. She snickered and turned her hues to her wife fully then. “Yeah where would you like to start first? Europe?” She asked as she nodded her head. They had to start somewhere and Europe was a lovely place, so she had heard on trip-advisor.
Marjani: Mari smiled at her wife at the roll and throw statement. “Got it baby.” Mari said as she got tossed a couple more things, feeling useful. Mari generally felt useful in all things private in their hotel room-but she wasn’t like Nishaa or most of the family. And she was nothing like Nishaa’s faction. She was soft-hearted and kind and sometimes she wondered...wondered if that would one day grate on her wife’s nerves. Would disappoint her. “Maybe Europe. Would make sense instead of staying in the states and then going there, just to make a long flight back in a week or two. Right?” Mari asked the question but already had nodded her head as she stuffed more of her clothes into her bags once her things had been rolled. “We could spend a little more time in Europe maybe to make it worth the long distant flight?” She zipped the bag closed once there was absolutely no more room for Mari to stuff anything inside of it and then plopped down on the bed, resting on her stomach and elbows as she looked at her wife adoringly between both their suitcases.
She had been curled amongst the maroon sheets of their queen sized bed. The Necromancer was looking at her wife with a dazzling smile as she raised an eyebrow.
