The Plot Machine

Welcome to the Plot Machine!
The purpose of the Plot Machine is to provide willing writers with random plots, increase the number of open threads on the forum, help you break through your writer’s block, and give people the opportunity to write together like never before.
How does it work?
Sign-ups are once a week per play. You will get your plot, and your randomly assigned partners, in exactly 1 week from the sign-up date.
You’re free to take the plot and turn it into anything you like; twist it and make it yours or follow it to the letter. Whatever makes you comfortable.
This is a continuing event too, meaning that on a Monday every month, we will begin sign-ups again and keep things rolling.
You are not required to participate, or even finish the plot you're assigned. This isn’t a competition and there’s no prize on the line, because the Plot Machine exists purely for fun. Like a game.
All you have to do is fill out the form below to sign-up. Josh and I will randomly assign plots and partners to participants and post them here, so keep an eye out.

The Plots are here!
Pairing: Nerissa Clemming & Doc
Prompt: Complete the sentence that best suits you and create a story that follows in the theme of a funeral.
“I’d love to _____ but my _____ just _____!”
Pairing: John Doe and Jane Doe (thrall) & Jezebel Tzasun
Prompt: At midnight, you get a call on your cell phone. The speaker says “I know what you did,” and then hangs up. What did you do, how do you react to these calls, is this a prank, a break in your psyche or does a piece of your hidden past come to light?
Pairing: Myk & Adelita
Prompt: The office building seemed normal enough when you came across it in the dead of night. You shrug off the feeling of dread as you enter the doors. There’s no receptionist and no security, simply two doors: one is green, the other orange. Which door do you take? Why are you there? What happens next?
Pairing: Enzo Vaughn & Renee
Prompt: “Get up. That’s right you, with the face. GET UP.” After the boot roughly hits your side, you groggily wake up. You can remember an explosion of some kind before you fell/were knocked unconscious. Now that you’re awake, you don’t recognise where you are. Your captor is armed to the teeth and your hands are bound. How did you get here? What does the captor want? What do you do next?
Pairing: Kaspar & Tayden
Prompt: The contents of a person's pockets or purse can say a lot about them. What are the contents of yours? What happens when someone sees something of yours they really weren't meant to?
Pairing: Indigo & Jameson Dade
Prompt: The word 'no' is one of the hardest to hear. When was one time the word 'no', really impacted you? Was it you saying it to someone else, or them prohibiting you? How did you cope?
