Animal [Open]
A snarl tore through her body as she sent the drug dealer flying against the wall and she heard a satisfying crack! The dealer’s body slumped to the ground and didn’t move as she listened to his still beating heart. Good, he was still alive. She wanted to drain him dry, but not before she got around to the one still conscious. The other man, the one that had been buying, backed himself up against the opposite wall and she turned her brown gaze upon his shivering form, her top curled upwards as she snarled. Her fangs were bared as she lunged for the scrawny man and her hands grabbed him by the shoulders. Raven slammed the man against the wall while one of her hands lifted to grasp his oily hair and forced his head to the side. Her fangs ripped through his skin and vein, this made his blood flow freely. The fledgling lapped it up, drinking with a greed that she could have sworn possessed her.
Upon this night, she was far more hostile then normal, however it hadn’t helped that she had sat for two days without killing anything. Why had she remained seated for two days in the same spot? Because she had been blind and she didn’t want to accidentally stumble upon another vampire in such a condition. Hell, the vampire didn’t even want to stumble upon a paladin in that condition. Without her sight, she would have been at a disadvantage, despite having extremely good hearing. Blood gurgled up the man’s torn up throat and she sliced her fangs deeper into his skin to make the slowing blood flow, flow better. Splashes of deep crimson splattered across her clothes and she couldn’t bring herself to care. Bathing in blood was something that she would do if she had enough humans to fill a bath tub.
It wasn’t until she heard a groan that she pulled her fangs from the dead man and turned to view the man that had been knocked unconscious, begin to gain consciousness. A smirk rose to her lips then as she dropped the dead man like a sack with no care. ”Oh good, you’re beginning to wake. I was afraid that I would have to kill you while you were still unconscious.” The drug dealer grabbed his head just as she made her way over to him and knelt down in front of him. ”Wakey, wakey sleepy head.” She snapped her fingers impatiently in front of the man’s face as he released another groan. A whine caught her attention then and she angled her head to view a black dog who appeared to be rather skinny. Raven smirked and held a hand out for it and the dog made his slow cautious way towards her.
As it approached, she turned her hand palm upwards for him to sniff. After a cautious sniff, it’s rough tongue darted out to lick the blood that coated her pale hand. She softly chuckled to herself and lightly tapped the dog upon the nose then. ”Now, you can either give me information about a Dean Talius, or, you can become dog food just like your buddy over there.” The fledgling's brown gaze moved back to the recovering drug dealer then as the skinny dog moved over to the dead man. Even strays, if desperate enough, would eat a dead corpse. Good disposal really. Stuttered words bubbled from the man, but none of it man any sense and she bared her fangs at him in a snarl. ”Don’t **** with me, because after going blind for a couple of days, I have no patience for your lies.”
“Yes! Ok! I saw him a while back!” A hand lunged out to grasp the man by the throat and she growled. ”When did you see him exactly? How long ago was he buying?” A choking sound arose from the man and she was so tempted to just simply kill him, but he was the first drug dealer that she had come across that actually knew anything. So, she released the pressure slightly so he could gulp in air. “Buying? No. He is selling now too. I saw him a couple of weeks ago down this very alley.” Her twin had been here recently? How did she miss it? Was it because at that point in time she had lost her arm? That that was when she had gotten herself into a challenge with Doc? Damn it, that whole vampire business had gotten her off track. She should have been more aware.
Her brown hues looked behind her to spy the stray dog peaceful gnawing upon the dead man’s hand and a smirk found its way to her lips then as she turned her gaze back to the dealer. ”Well today is not your lucky day.” Raven leaned forwards and her fangs ripped into his neck, greedily lapping at the blood that now flowed freely from his neck.

Re: Animal [Open]
He'd been warned about this area, Eva had specifically told him to stop hunting there, guns you found and money to be taken from the drug dealers not worth it. She was trying to train him, to get him to become a thief like her. It's not like he really needed it, but there world was different, the Vampires had to fight nail and tooth every day to get by, so he had to learn the skills just in case. Why? It seemed crazy that they couldn't all just exist, the Fadebeasts and Fae needed to go, sure, he got that. The Zombies and other creatures that went bump in the night weren't exactly a barrel of laughs come to think of it, and he almost felt like he was doing them a kindness by putting them down, but the humans who hunted the vampires and the vampires who killed for no reason?
It was pretty messed up.
Why then was he here? Slinking about in darkened alleys, picking the unused items from corpses and casually tossing them into his bag. He was here because of a rumour, a guy he used to know named Jack, one of his first friends when he moved here had gotten himself into a bit of trouble. He'd gotten hooked on a not-so-designer drug, and had dug himself into a pretty serious pit of debt. This was where he came to score. He'd had his *** handed to him in a major way when he could no longer pay, made arrangements that could only go on so long and been left barely clinging to life for the effort. Kaspar was pissed. They got him cleaned up, shipped off to rehab and his parents settled the debt.
It wasn't good enough.
He wanted the dodgy dealer off the streets, he wanted him driven from the town and the money returned because the loser didn't deserve it. His prices were ridiculous, for starters, and frankly it was frustrating to be dragged into such things for a person who he'd once called friend. Why did they always remember him and pick him out? Jack's mother sobbing into his chest, clinging to his jacket. "He was such a good boy, Kaspar, you remember?" She'd cried, dabbing at her eyes with the handkerchief he had handed her. It had taken him 10 minutes to get rid of the woman, time wasted hovering in a doorway. He'd only managed to shoo her away when his son had begun crying, bless Will and his timing.
Now here he was, hunting gangsters and defying his darling Eva's demands.
Oh well, he never really was very good at sticking to the rules others made. He walked down the alley with a purposeful stride, this was where the loser hung out and he better be in the talking mood. Murder wasn't really his preferred method, no, but the man was pretty much dead anyway from what he'd heard. In fact, as Hel approached and heard some startling noises he began to wonder if the man hadn't already been found by his enemies. Perhaps they'd finally had enough just as he himself had. He probably should've turned back then, given up the ghost and told Jack's family to move away, to take him somewhere without temptation and such a destructive undertone.
Crimson, a streak of it moving through the night, a fierce creature that made him recoil.
The feminine frame was stronger than it looked, she made quick work of dealing with the two men in the alley. Kaspar was disgusted as he watched on, she was violently blood thirsty and even worse encouraging one of the many stray dogs to take part in a late night snack. Messy, needlessly messy. One thing he'd learned since he was turned was that a clean bite was better and if that failed, make it look like a gang murder. That was believable enough to avoid suspicion. He waited until she'd slowed in her movements, the men spent and bleeding beneath her jaws. He was loathe to interrupt a feeding, but she was like him and he would take any chance he got to meet more. If she was feral, well, he had his gun ready. "Ahem, miss, I believe he is dead. Surely, you don't need two men to satiate you? If you do, well..." He trailed off, brows raised, leaning against the wall like the smug rocker he was with that damn smirk on his face.

Re: Animal [Open]
Raven gulped greedily as the blood splashed and cooled the burning at her throat. It was exactly what she needed and she was more than happy to drink two men to death. She had just about to rip the man’s throat apart some more when she heard a voice drift to her ears. Slowly, she pulled away from the man and allowed the man’s dead form to slip from her fingers and drop to the ground with a sickening crunch. Well, if the man had any brain left beforehand and wasn’t dead, then after that, he surely was dead. Her tongue slid along her fangs as she turned around and lifted her gaze to view the newcomer. ”Dead is exactly how I want him, but to waste the blood that is within him?” Surely not even he would waste such a bountiful dinner?
The woman was so used to being around other vampires that ate on a frequent basis, that this man seemed like an unnatural vampire. If he was vampire. She simply gathered that he was, especially considering that he wasn’t running away in fear. Nor was he producing a weapon to shoot at her. Silently, she lifted her right hand and her tongue darted out to lick at a few drops of blood presented there. ”You’re an odd one; humans are for eating.” She perked a brow at the man who had taken a position against a wall near the mouth of the alley. He seemed smug for some reason, but what made a smirk of her own rise to her lips, was the fact that he had called her a ‘miss.’ Her brown gaze shifted to view the black dog that was now attacking the drug user's neck. The hands must have been too chewy and bony for him.
Her gaze returned back to the strange man and slowly, she began to make a few steps towards him. How much had this man heard from before? ”I’m not sure as to what you heard, or think that you heard, but I would prefer that you forgot about it.” She didn’t trust him, not one bit. In fact, every instinct within her told her to start a fight with him. However, she had promised Jesse that she would attempt to be more a part of the family, which meant not causing too much trouble for them. Hell, she had averted a war when she had challenged Doc and she was sure that Jesse wouldn’t be especially happy that she had challenged yet another vampire in the space of a week. The woman itched to fight, to kill. Most of all, she itched to physically hurt and Doc had been disappointing in that regards.
She stopped a couple of feet away from the man and was tempted to run bloodied fingers over his face. Surely he couldn’t be in that much control of his hunger. Otherwise, why would he be here interrupting her dinner? However, if she did do that, would it start a fight? At least she didn’t throw the first punch, something which would work in her favor. ”I mean, you could always have what’s left before the dog gets to him. I am very capable of just going out and hunting down some more low life’s that won’t be missed.” Raven held her bloodied left hand in the direction of the drug dealer whose blood was fast cooling. What was left of his blood however, was still gurgling from the torn open vein in his neck. ”Or, are you too good to humour a murderous vampire? One whose dinner that you rudely interrupted for this lovely chat.”
Another smirk found its way to her lips as she baited him.

Re: Animal [Open]
Oh, she was a violent one, but perfectly within her mind. Well, that in fact was debatable but she had enough capacity to make decisions. He tucked his gun away figuring there was no need to further agitate her, he had disrupted her meal after all. What kind of a man would he be to shoot a woman before she'd finished dinner? "Actually was considering making him dead, too, alas you got there first and that means I didn't get what I wanted." He stalked closer, kicking at the foot of the other dead man, looking disappointed. Dead meant no information, no information meant he could take the money remaining if she didn't get in the way, maybe figure out where his stash was. Did he care enough to bother?
He was glad he had fed earlier, of course the blood tempted him, there was so much and he could feel her fire, her passion for it. It almost took hold of him, the desire to crawl down and put his mouth over that spurting blood, to cease the flow by taking into himself. It was wasteful, she was correct, but it wasn't what he was here for. He reminded himself firmly to stick to task, even as she tried to bait him. "Heard? Not much, I arrived to see you devouring these two, if you bothered to have a conversation first I missed it and my opportunity to press him for information. I knew he had enemies, but damn woman. All I heard was snarling and slurping."
Slurping, probably not the best word to use as the woman stalked closer. "I've had my dinner, thanks for the offer, i've never been a huge fan of sloppy seconds and as I mentioned I wasn't here for his blood. You're a wild one, aren't you?" He laughed now, giving her an appreciative nod. "I like that, there is a place for those with a violent streak in this damn town, there is also a place for level headed discussions and business." He shrugged at her, not entirely sure what the woman expected. Did she want a fight? For him to hit her? Violence seemed to be her fuel, her way to get through her days and that was fine but it wasn't for him. "Perhaps we could help each other, whatever it was you didn't want me to hear? I might be able to assist." He pushed off the wall, closing the space between them so that he could look down from his intimidating height. "Though I respect your fire. I'm Kaspar, or Hel if you prefer."

Re: Animal [Open]
Raven lifted a simply brow as the man mentioned that he had also wanted the man dead. The problem with drug dealers was that they tended to gather a lot of enemies, she wasn’t surprised that this drug dealer had a lot of them. A tongue trailed down the length of her right fang as she watched him move around and toed the drug addict; the one that the dog was gnawing upon. The moment that he mentioned level headed discussion was the moment that she become somewhat disinterested. She moved back over to the drug dealer and heaved him up. Her hands pinned him against the wall using his shoulders and she leaned forwards to place her mouth over the wound that she had created in his neck. The woman greedily lapped up the fast cooling blood as she listened to the man talk. He wanted to talk and Raven didn’t do a lot of talking.
Gulp after greedy gulp, she drained the dead drug dealer. It didn’t exactly worry her that he was dead or the fact that his blood was thickening because it was cooling. She just didn’t want to waste such good blood. As she lapped up the last drops of blood, she pulled away and let his body drop for the third time that night. Her tongue trailed over her fangs as she looked to the man that she was beginning to see as Kasper. ”Well, Kasper the friendly ghost, the name is Raven. As for the information…” A shrug of her shoulders was given. ”All that I know is that this guy, knew my guy. I don’t know if this guy had your information or not. My guy has been keeping a low profile. Other than that, you’ll have to find another drug dealer to get information out of.”
The woman lifted her right hand to wipe at the blood upon her face before she simply gave up and yawned. The two tonight satisfied her… For now. In a few minutes she would get the hunger for more. Nothing ever truly satisfied her hunger and she was always left wanting for more in the end. Her brown gaze watched the other male, more out of curiousity than anything. She was used to most people not talking to her and perhaps it was because she gave off a vibe, but here was this man talking to her. He most definitely wasn’t human, especially when he had already declined her offer to finish off her meal. So, this man was a vampire, a vampire who didn’t lust for blood like she did. It was a rather strange thing, but she didn’t think too much about it. Why? It just simply wasn’t the way she was.
”There are probably other drug dealers running around with the information that you need. I would help but…” Another shrug of her shoulders was given then, ”I shouldn’t kill too many of these guys in one night. Even though I would be doing the city a favour by ridding them of them, but get enough missing persons of the same kind and people investigate.” Unrelated people, generally didn’t get investigated and that was how she kept it. Silently, she leaned her back against the wall, her brown hues watched the man for a moment. Soon, she would go about burning the bodies. She could probably throw the bodies into an abandoned building and then burn it with the bodies inside. Raven hadn’t decided yet and she had no inkling to loot whatever they had on their bodies. ”You may not like sloppy seconds, but I’m sure that on these guy’s bodies you may be able to find some information for what you’re looking for. I’m sure their phones might contain something.” However, she doubted that they had any information about her twin. He had been keeping low, extremely low.

Re: Animal [Open]
Her tongue drifting across her fangs should have been sexy to him, she was beautiful but her hard *** wannabe attitude and the coldness that didn't quite fit within those warm coloured brown eyes was off-putting. He could tell she had no interest in talking to him, even less in listening. Once again the body was lifted, slammed into the nearest wall so she could lap hungrily at the congealing blood like a delirious, deprived animal. It wasn't like other feedings he'd seen, most were clean, considerate and designed to avoid attention. He'd of course seen a few feral creatures tearing out throats and slathering themselves in the blood acting as if it was some kind of war paint. There was a beautiful savagery to it, but it wasn't for him and of course he'd witnessed bitings of a sexual nature. The kind that came from a passionate embrace, or were born out of desire to feel the power in the blood of a fellow predator.
This? This was none of that.
She was speaking to him again, calling him a friendly ghost and dismissing him as someone who either could not be able to provide her assistance or someone she was not willing to divulge her dilemmas to. Fine. He didn't need to take on another problem, that was why he was here after all in this damn alley, someone else's problems forced onto him. There she went licking at fangs again, wiping her face like a cat cleaning itself after a meal, preening. He had at first liked that wild streak, it had given him a moment of curiousity when paired with that beautiful feminine body. Now it irked him. It was as if she wanted so badly to BE bad, to be detached, he always thought people who went to such efforts to appear hardened must be utterly insecure.
He didn't have time to play into it, and he certainly wasn't afraid.
His frustrations grew as she nattered on about him finding someone else to get information from, but he didn't need information. He didn't want it. There was nothing anyone could say that would assist him, other than telling him a secret stash existed. Did he care enough to try? To go and liberate it? No, no he didn't. He'd done his duty, he'd tried. "You don't get it, do you, Rot?" The leather clad man stalked up to her, slapping his open palm against the wall beside her head. He slouched his posture and bowed his head so that he could be eye level with the woman. "I don't want information, I wanted HIM. And you got him, because you're too sloppy and impatient to put in a little effort for what you want. Use your brain, instead of your fists some time and someone might talk. Consider whatever you're looking for lost, because you've clearly not got the attention span to do a thorough research job. " He boxed her in with his tall frame, pressing his other hand on the opposite side of her, against the wall be her hip. "Let it go, or learn to listen, Rot." He raised his brow, imitating her and flicking his tongue against his fangs as they pressed free. His lips curled into his usual smirk, though the faster rise and fall of his chest gave sign of his rise in intensity.

Re: Animal [Open]
Raven’s brown hues watched as the man called Kasper approached her and lifted a brow at his new nickname for her. Rot 'ey? she asked herself as she lifted her arms and folded them over her chest. Oh she was trying really, really hard to keep her promise to Jesse. However, the moment that he slapped his palm near her head and boxed her in, she wanted nothing more than to strike out at the man in front of her. Being boxed in meant trouble. The woman listened to him, but her gaze was drawn to the hand near her head. It was flat, open palmed which meant it was only there to cage her in. Her brown hues also noted the other hand that was placed against the wall near her hip. The only person who had gotten this close before, was her sire. She had kept a distance from people, to avoid closeness. To avoid attachments.
She itched, she itched for pain that this man angry enough might provide that. So, she couldn’t help but return the man’s smirk with one of her own. Slowly, her tongue trailed down her right fang as her brown hues peered into the man own orbs and she simply perked a brow. Inside, she wanted nothing more than to start a fight, but a fight with another vampire? Could start a faction war, something that she didn’t want on her hands. It was also something that she didn’t understand. Why care to start a war if it was just a simple one verse one fight? ”The man already gave me the answer I needed before I killed him.” She lifted her right bloodied hand slowly and should he allow it, she lightly touched his forehead before drawing her finger downwards across the bridge if his nose. ”Besides, if you wanted him, you should have been faster.”
Silently, she stuck the exact finger into her mouth and pulled it out slowly. Indeed, she was goading him, teasing in a way. The woman knew that she should listen more often and use fists less, but with each punch, it brought a satisfying crunch. Pain was what she craved and paired with an insatiable bloodlust, it just seemed like thinking was far too hard. Again, her tongue trailed over her fang but this time, it was mostly because she didn’t like this position of hers. Being trapped against a wall wasn’t exactly what she had planned for the night. Now, her mind fought passed her itch for pain so then she could formulate a plan to get out of the boxed in state without causing a fight; which Jesse would berate her for. The woman was sure that her sire would understand, only because they had met when Raven had caused a bar fight.
A breath was slowly released and should he allow it, her right hand moved to press the palm to the man’s chest this time. ”You admitted you wanted him dead remember? He is dead. Does it really matter if it wasn’t by your hand?” She was struggling with this diplomacy thing, it just wasn’t her style. Give her someone to beat on and she will gladly do it. Jesse and Clover struggled to get her to ‘mingle’ with the family because she had no interest in developing bonds. Here, in this scenario, she was almost forced to form some kind of connection with this man named Kasper. Ugh, Can’t he just deal that I killed the drug dealer and get over it? She asked herself as she watched him. Was this really about her? Or was it about him? ”If you would be so kind as to take a step back, I would appreciate it.”

Re: Animal [Open]
He had the creature caged and the flickering of her gaze gave her away. She wanted escape, she was trying hard not to lash out at him. He was curious as to why she wasn't just hitting him, throwing her weight on him and tearing at his hair, clawing at his face until she was free. What was stopping her? Some sense of moral obligation? Didn't exactly seems likely, and he probably wasn't in the best position to ask. He was in her personal space, he kept himself away enough that there was no contact between them but he close enough to the strange woman that he could smell the hot blood on her breath.
The way was smirking and licking at that fang again under his watchful gaze had him wondering if she had an oral fixation, hell, he was beginning to think he might be developing one. He wasn't sure where to focus his clear blue eyes, to follow hers or to watch mouth and wait for the fangs to launch at him. "Well la, di, da. I'm glad you got what you wanted." Her hand raised, slowly as if giving him time to pull away, perhaps testing his reactions and he gave her nothing for her trouble. His eyes closed briefly at the soft trail of fingertips, still damp with blood that no doubt coloured his pale skin.
Hel scoffed at her words, he should have been faster? No, he was fully aware that someone might get to him first, he'd prepared himself for that but when he found the culprit standing right there still finishing off the slaughter, well, he had to make comment. This woman definitely had an oral fixation, there was no two ways about it, watching her suckling the blood free of her digits. Damn, if it wasn't a tempting sight, more so than anything else Kaspar had seen of her so far. "You've got issues, Rot." He murmured under his breath in disbelief, shaking out his blonde locks.
That hand twitched towards him again, more gentle and patient than he'd have thought her capable of. He didn't flinch back for a second time, in fact he leaned into the press of it. "It doesn't matter really, I could not give a **** but I made a promise to try and reach a resolution. I tried, I did my duty. I'm done..." His head bowed in, swooping as if he might steal a kiss, instead he brush his face against that crimson hair falling against her neck, rubbing off the blood she'd wiped across his features. "Step back? Ah, so you can flee into the night, the wild thing that can't stand a cage of her own making. Cute." He laughed, breath huffing out to stir strands of hair. "Fine, go, if you want to go. I will find some fun elsewhere." And true to his word he released her, hands pulling away, raising up as in surrender. He took one slow step back, giving her room to slip out passed him.

Re: Animal [Open]
The physical contact between them was so weird, that she had no response for it. Even if it was only to rub the blood off of his face. ”I won’t deny that I have issues, it’s a common fact that everyone who even bothers to know me knows.” Another slow breath was released then as she felt the man move away and she felt more like herself again, she didn’t feel the need to knee him in the stomach so much. She lifted a hand to run through her red and black locks gathering herself before her brown gaze looked back to the dead body. The woman still had a mess to clean up and so she shook her head. ”I’m not going anywhere any time soon if that was what you were hoping for.” Silently, she slipped passed Kaspar and moved over to the dead drug dealer. She leaned down to grasp him by the arm only to pull him up and over her shoulder
Physical strength was something that made her immortal life a little dull. Humans were easily overpowered and she found no challenge in the actual killing itself. In fact, the only gratification that she had gotten from killing them, was the actual murder itself. She walked over to the drug addict and she carelessly threw the man on top, seeing as the dog had long since left. Speaking of which, she lifted her gaze in search for the stray, but he was gone. Perhaps Kaspar’s little outbreak scared him away. ”I have bodies to dispose of.” She glanced over her shoulder towards Kaspar and she actually wondered why he had stepped back. The man had had her cornered and he had leaned into her hand, she had felt it. Yet, upon her request he had let her go without a fight. Why? Perhaps it was her turn to extract information from him, which meant that she may have to get close to him.
”Why?” She finally asked him. ”Why the hell did you step away?” While he had caught her interest somewhat, he had also lost it the moment that he had stepped away. She was complexed in that sense. Physical strength and pain was a big factor, anything else and the world faded into grey. It was the first time that no one had fought her upon an issue and it was strange. The woman fished out a box of cigarettes and a lighter. She tugged a cigarette free and pocketed the rest. Silently, she placed the cigarette between her lips and flicked the lighter until the gas ignited and produced a flame. The woman lit her cigarette then and inhaled. Pocketing the lighter, she waited for Kaspar to speak, not that she expected him to. Half the time she had more questions than answers and she learned to live with the unanswered questions.
Finally, she drew the cigarette from her lips and turned the burning tip up towards her. Softly, she blew upon it so then it would flare orange and she knelt down. Burning bodies was easy, but she wasn’t going to throw her lighter onto the bodies, that would be a waste of a perfectly good lighter. Her free hand lifted to lightly grasp a piece of the material that wasn’t blood soaked and she pressed the burning tip into the cloth. Thankfully, it caught and she dropped both her hold upon the cloth and the cigarette. She jumped back and her brown hues watched with fascination as the bodies caught alight in a fiery blaze. Getting rid of the bodies caused her some sort of satisfaction, but it was mostly short lived. Finally, she glanced back to Kaspar as she felt the heat upon her skin, what was his deal though? ”Also, cute isn’t what people normally think about me.”

Re: Animal [Open]
Of course she didn't just run off, that would've been far too easy and he could've shaken off her presence, he could've gotten on with his night without thinking on her too much longer. Instead she stuck around, declaring that she wasn't about to up and leave the scene, at least she had the sense to clean up after her mess, that was something he had to give her credit for. "Now, Rot, why would I want such a charming woman as you to disappear into the ether?" He quipped charmingly, though the words were laced with a heavy dose of sarcasm, "Here I was just working out how to propose to you! One knee? Two? Standing? It's all about the choreography, I hear." The man twisted the ring he wore around his ring finger, a delicate band of hammered white gold, far thinner than the rest of the chunky rings that often adorned at least three of his digits. "On second thought, I don't think i'd like to be married to a messy eater."
He had marvelled at first at the strength of these vampiric bodies, he'd watched the curvaceous little Eva perform feats he'd not thought physically possible for someone of her size. She'd made an important point that night, never underestimate someone based on their size or sweet smile in this city. Ever. And so he kept a casual eye on the woman, taking his turn to lounge against the wall, only vaguely paying attention to how she handled the bodies. What was she going to do? Dismember them? Light them up? Call someone to help her take them down to the river? All valid options here in Harper Rock, with the ridiculous amount of gang activity the cops seemed too ready to buy into whatever situation you constructed as explanation. He was pulling out his phone, shooting off a quick text, when she spoke to him again. Why? He blinked at her, a brow raising at her demanding of answers.
Why did he step away? Was she kidding? Kaspar never felt the need to force himself onto others, violently or otherwise. He didn't need to prove his power, he wasn't some pathetic little boy with a hard on for asserting his authority, he just had it. "Because you asked me to." Shoulders rose and fell in a shrug, Kaspar unsure of why people found the concept of consent so hard to grasp. "I thought that was rather obvious, Rot. I've not interest in forcing you up against a wall without your consent, or driving my fists into that pretty little face without provocation. I will only sink to that level in dire situations. I don't have to push you around, to keep you trapped all night to get your attention. Are you disappointed I didn't read between the lines, Rot? That I didn't close the distance?"
Hel kicked away from the wall again, stalking closer, but once more keeping the distance a few paces of safe space between them. There really was no rest for the wicked. "What do you want, hm?" He watched her light up, using the glowing orange tip to set the pulverised pair alight. He focused on her face, seeing the flames licking at the bodies, growing behind her. It just added to her fierceness, she didn't understand him and it was frustrating to her. "Do you want to me to grab hold of you? Give you reason to let loose the dogs of war and set about trying to tear out my throat? Or do you want me to hit you, make your jaw sting? I am not here for YOUR amusement, or my own for that matter. If you want to make a meal of a man, or be dessert, then i've got some friends you might be interested in meeting." He reached out, deft fingers flicking a strand of her hair back, tucking it quickly behind her ear. He let his fingertip trail against her cheek as he withdrew, the heavy ring nestled beneath the joint of his finger grazing her jaw as the last point of contact perhaps a little rougher than necessary. His hand was gone from her, tucked safely way into the pocket of his leather jacket. "Get over yourself, sweet thing." Advice that was utterly ironic uttered from Kaspar's lips, a fact he was blissfully oblivious to. "Not everyone wants a piece."
