The garden grows

[OOC Note: This is a back tracking to when Elizabeth first woke within the city. Since she has attained two childer and none seem to be role players, I'm going to put them into a time when it would make sense for her to create another after centuries of not doing so.]

Shadows ebbed and flowed around her small frame as Elizabeth continued to walk through the inky darkness. It seemed as if she had been here for an eternity, if not longer, but that certainly made little sense to the woman. Unanswerable questions swirled deep within her mind as the brunette continued to search for something...anything. Isabella; the way out or the answer as to how she was here.

Heels swung within her tiny hands, Elizabeth having taken them off hours ago, or was it longer than that by now? Her roots were hurting her and had for some time and while it was normally impolite to take off one's shoes the woman had seen no one for many, many hours. If the situation changed, Elizabeth would of course present herself in a manner befitting of guests or company, not certain which she would actually be. Or at least Elizabeth would try. Throughout her time here Elizabeth's attire was far from appropriate for hosting and her hair had lost its tight ringlet curls some time ago.

Her feet padded on the ebony colored surface beneath her long gown, the only sound accompanying the woman for some time. After a few more steps, the woman wrapped her arms around her frame and pressed her wooden heels into her chest gently. How much longer would she have to endure the darkness? Elizabeth did not think she could bear it much longer. The woman was not only starving, but she hadn't had a decent conversation with anyone in some time. Her mind could not tolerate being stagnant for as long as it probably had been.

Then, as soon as the woman thought such a thing there was in the distance a small orb of light. Excited, the woman padded quickly and heavily to the source, but each time she took a step, the source of light seemed to get further and further away from her. Still, the woman pressed on, a light laugh passing through her lips as she found this to now be a delightful game of sorts. Perhaps she had been down here too long and the woman was slowly starting to become the thing her mother and brother called her when she was married to Geffrey, but the woman knew better. She felt that there was a deep change approaching; the same sort of change when Isabella had found her within those streets so many centuries ago. The brunette ran harder and faster, so much that her roots burned with each hitting of the surface below.
Then the woman was encased with such glorious light that Elizabeth felt the slightest tinge of warmth to her frame before the entire world around her shifted before her very eyes.

What was once dark and dreary transpired into dark but yet a source of so much light within it. Below her roots were thick blades of grass and around her body were trees of great height. This caused the woman to take a few steps backwards until something rough scraped against the underside of her roots. With a quick glare down to them, Elizabeth realized that she was not proper at all! With quick haste, the woman slipped her shoes upon her roots and pressed her fingers against the heavy material that collected neatly at her waistline.

Her dress closely-fitted at her torso just under the woman's bust line, and fell loosely below to allow the brunette's hoop skirt to show off the faded and ripped establishments of the woman's sapphire colored evening gown. The material crinkled with each step the woman took, Elizabeth's ears perking up to the sound of the dress and any others that could not be identified by her. Round orbs darted back and forth, back and forth and finally in front of her as the woman became comfortable with her immediate surroundings. In the far off distance there was the sound of laughter that bounced off the night air and into her ears, causing Elizabeth to tilt her head. With a flick of her tongue upon her lips, Elizabeth followed the sounds to the location of a circular object made of thin material that encased a light within it. From the light were two silhouettes within, conversing and laughing. Abruptly the laughing ceased as one of the two within called attention to what Elizabeth perceived was herself. A male left the thin shell of protection and made his aggressive presence known to Elizabeth by degrading her character with profanity and then demanded she left before he called the police.

The man dressed peculiar, so much that it caused Elizabeth to pause and stare at his attire. After he spat out those words, he stopped shouting and looked at her appearance, taking a small step backwards. His silence alerted his female companion of the evening who made appeared from the emerald colored barrier. The blond didn't say anything as her mouth opened and then snapped closed upon the sight of Elizabeth. She was starving, so much that her stomach curled into a tight ball and caused the woman a great deal of discomfort. In a blurred motion, Elizabeth shoved the female away from the male and sunk her teeth into his neck. Centuries of feeding came with certain advantages. Women were normally weaker than their male counterpart, so Elizabeth decided to take the strongest of the two out of the equation.
Or so the woman had thought and done so for decades.

A searing pain ripped into her right shoulder after the sound of a loud clap was heard from around Elizabeth. This caused her to drop the man in sheer surprise, her attention diverting to him to that of the female who held something metallic within her hands. With a predatory growl, Elizabeth pounced upon the woman and ripped her bulb right off her shoulders. Once the woman was dead, Elizabeth was no longer on alert and soon the weight of her own attire and that of a dead woman weighed upon Elizabeth, causing the woman to take three steps backwards. Her wound flowed freely, the sting of pain coursing throughout her entire right arm. With narrowed eyes Elizabeth fled the scene of blood filled chaos, assuming all within the scene were dead.

The dark haired woman roamed the streets of the new town in a state of confusion and disbelief. Everything was so different...broken. Women dressed in a manner unbefitting of any propriety and respect for themselves. dresses barely covered any flesh while silver and gold hung to ears and other places upon the body as if trying to make the piece of flesh that much more richer in appearance than it already was. Looks were cast Elizabeth's way as she passed various people upon the streets, causing the woman to collect her heavy garment at the knees and hoist it up so that she could better walk.

Anxiety pressed into the woman's mind as this was not the world she knew and remembered. Large buildings towered over her as she continued to search for a place to rest and heal for the evening; a place out of the harmful rays of the sun. Amber irises flicked to a large structure that held what appeared to be metal on four wheels as Elizabeth crossed the street to further investigate the place of holding. A sound followed by another delayed the woman's movements for the slightest second, causing another tingy sound to be heard. Two bright sphere's covered her body with light, Elizabeth's left arm moving to her forehead to push away the source of light. Two more tingy sounds spoke out at her, urging the woman to press on with her journey and so she did. Red, yellow and green lights bounced off the ground, flicking from a large piece of metal protruding out of the earth.
What had happened to her world?

A voice within the place that kept the cars coaxed Elizabeth into it, the brunette following the sounds of the singular voice before she slammed into the woman with some small box to her ear. "Apologies." Elizabeth's eyes flicked over the woman's attire for a seconds before her lips parted. "You are dressed like a man!" Elizabeth's eyes moved to the dark pair of pants the woman wore before her nose crinkled slightly and then turned abruptly to continue upon her way. No more stopping, not until Elizabeth found refuge within a world she knew nothing of. After what seemed to be a few more hours, finally a building made out of glass on one side beckoned the woman. Elizabeth paused, canted her head to the left and then dashed across the large greenery outside the building. This place would provide her with the things Elizabeth needed; protection while she slept and nourishment when humans found their way into it.

And so the woman slept within the inside garden. While the woman slept she dreamt of Isabella and Antigony; the two vampires that Elizabeth knew, missed and hoped had escaped like she had. The woman dreamt Isabella found her and Antigony was with her. The three together and strong as they had been before she was thrust into the shadowy depths of what one would consider hell. The three were once again a force to be reckoned with and the world was their oyster. This brought a glimmer of hope and brightness into Elizabeth's dreams and warmth embraced her petite frame. Suddenly her eyes snapped open as the brunette let out a blood curdling scream of agony and started patting at her body as if she were on fire. After repeated pats and seconds passing, Elizabeth realized that it was not she that was on fire, yet her body burned as if she had endured hours within the sun.

Her eyes bounced around the room while her mind pressed itself open to see what had happened to her. Had someone attacked her and ran off before she awoke? Her memories seemed to not recall such a thing, nor was there any physical markings upon her body. So the woman pressed on further to that of her sire who still shared a strong connection with Elizabeth. A flicker of pride found its way upon her face before another connection was felt. It was strange to her, yet it ebbed and flowed deep within her mind, rooting itself there to stay for what felt like forever.

Frank...
The name flashed into the woman's mind as if she knew this 'Frank' for centuries and it was then that she realized what was going on. A seed had been planted and slowly it was dying. While some seeds thrived in light, this one would grow the best only in night. He knew not what he was and she knew not of his creation until of his mistake that could have cost him his life. How could she have been so careless? Elizabeth would have to tend to this seed once the sun hid itself.

Once the sun set, the dark haired woman wandered her way around town, itching at her arms and shoulders as if she suffered a serious sunburn and the skin was peeling. When she was but a young girl, the woman remembered having red skin and that flesh itching her until it eventually flaked and peeled off. This was caused by sitting within her family garden for far too many hours, but Elizabeth preferred being inside of that sanctuary instead of the one provided to her by her human mother. Still, not all sanctuary's were safe; the woman learned that when she became older and her family dare try and give her away as if she were some piece of cattle or other farm animal.

Elizabeth slipped into this 'Frank's' mind, trying to attain clues as to his whereabouts. It was Elizabeth's full belief that the man was still outside, perhaps engorging himself in blood as she had many centuries ago when she was first created. Still, seeds that were damaged should not be allowed to grow for their roots could tangle within those who have the will to survive and end up destroying everything.

Elizabeth wandered the streets for hours looking for the one she had lost her control with; her first. To no avail did she find the man, but Elizabeth slipped her concerns into his own mind and hoped that he would heed her words and do as she asked of him. Until she was able to track Frank down, the woman had nothing better to do than wait and see how he would grow; if he would grow.

------

Regardless of her concerns being shoved into the man's mind on her accord, each morning Elizabeth endured the traumatizing backlash of the man's in-actions. No matter how many dark places she had resided within for however long; coffins, the dark abyss...the feel of the sun could not be compared to that of those places. While her mind was left to slowly entertain itself within each of those places, there had been very little physical damages done to the woman. This however seared into both her mind and body when Frank was sun-kissed each morning. He would draw attention to them all. Frank would kill them and it was because of her that this would happen.

The malicious thoughts plagued the woman's mind until she came to a resolution about Frank.
Now all she had to do was let it play out and put the order into motion. Once it was placed within the open there would be no turning back. No, there was never any turning back when it came to the safety of herself and those within her familial line.

Finally, nights of searching the streets and the woman had come across the man she had offered the gift of eternity to by accident. With a quick reach to her blade hidden within the pockets of her coat, the woman lashed out and sliced him across his arm with a fluid movement. This was a warning to the man, move, embrace the gift given to her or suffer many more nights like this. With a satisfactory cackle the passed through her lips, Elizabeth made her way to the sewers to begin her search for others that she could steal from. If Frank had half a seed within that bulb of his, he would find his way into shelter and begin to heal by feasting upon the blood of humans that peppered the streets.

After her nightly search, Elizabeth moved to a safe haven she had been using since the woman found the conservatory to be open during the day time hours on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Such a place would not be safe for the woman, so she had to relocate to an abandoned property within the city where the dark haired woman continued to read a book that she had come across at the conservatory; a book on flower types and those that grew within the city because of the soil and those that could not. They hadn't seen her tactics, nor her experience in this area. When the woman's mind was set upon something, there was no deterring Elizabeth from it. When she had enough funds to attain a property of her own, Elizabeth would make a garden and show them that anything was possible if ones mind was put to it.

--------

She could not bare it any longer.
Another morning passed and ripped Elizabeth from her deep slumbers and chaotic dreams that clouded her mind. Usually these dreams consisted of the never ending blackness, a garden and her familial line; some nights Elizabeth found them and other nights she had been unsuccessful. However, this dream had barely begun before she was robbed the opportunity to find Antigony and Isabella. With a loud piercing shriek, the woman scratched at her skin, nails digging deep into her flesh as Elizabeth tried to tear away the pieces that burned her. To no avail did the ripping into her own skin help, and this only brought a deep outburst of rage from Elizabeth's lips. The woman was uncertain how long she tore at her skin or how much time had passed, but eventually the woman passed out from sheer physical and mental exhaustion. It wasn't easy for a vampire no matter how old their age to stay awake hours upon hours during the daytime, regardless of the lack of sun within a room.

---------

She knew it was nightfall before the woman opened her eyes. The temperature within the abandoned home had cooled significantly, which was perhaps the cause to the woman rousing from her sleep. The night air tickled her skin, helping the woman awaken completely before she moved from the corner in which she slept and paced the large departed estate. Many deep thoughts seeped deep into her mind; her next course of action against Frank. It was certain that after multiple nights and days of resistance from Frank, that the man was not going to bloom into what he really could be. It was a tragedy within Elizabeth's mind for never had she given such a precious gift to another (even if it had been by accident) and had hoped that perhaps he could be a great man that so few ever achieved.

She would need a great deal more of assistance and so the woman reached out to a particular individual that might be able to help her in her request. He was more than amicable to the arrangement discussed between the two and so Elizabeth found her way to a crownet station within a cafe in the city. Humans were not the only weeds that the city should be worried about. Weeds came in a great variety of sizes and shapes, some more damaging to the city than others, and this one was far too damaging to those Elizabeth cared about.
It was time to prune.

She did not make the bounty a private affair; for anyone who knew her would know that it was the woman's signature upon the reason for Frank's demise. Did the woman feel remorse when the bounty had been claimed? Absolutely not. The man was a danger to not only herself, but her sire, Antigony and their entire kind. If Elizabeth permitted this weed to grow for any longer length of time then it would spread and destroy everything before new growth in this new era had even begun.

The moment the vampire fell into the shadow realms, Elizabeth's own thoughts were brought back to that inky abyss and terror clouded her eyes as the woman reached out for a fixture to brace herself with. If the woman had to breathe, she was certain all of her air would have been robbed of her in that moment. The momentarily shared memory the two had of the shadow realm brought the woman back to when she herself had been captive within the endless dark cloud. It was not a place she would ever want another to go, yet the man disregarded every word spoken to him. She had picked wrongly and it was she who had to correct the error of her choice. Hopefully the man would find the abyss to be unwelcoming and would crave for his return to this realm.

--------------

It was a few nights later when the woman found Allana within the city. She offered the woman the gift of immortality, hoping to find in her what her sire had within she and Antigony throughout the centuries that had passed. Only time would tell, but that was all the two had beyond all certainty for the time being. A few nights passed and soon Elizabeth could see the strength within the woman that she had harvested from the human populace. Yet, somewhere among all this fruition within Allana was the lingering feeling of desolation, one that the woman could attribute to Frank. Her dreams during the day took her back to the world of shadows, often finding her way besides the man; the ghost that Elizabeth created within her own life. Was it a sign of what to come? Was Elizabeth seeing her own future mirrored through his eyes; was it the man's hungry desire to see her in the place in which she tossed him into? Would the woman share the same fate as the man that was not lost within a place of solitude and confusion?
