* Faolan opened the door and smiled at Aine, "This is the place Baby. Someone said they are looking for new musicians to advertise." He said softly, squeezing her fingers with his own inked ones.

* Aine squeezed his hand right back, leaning her head in his shoulder. "Is it bad I'm a touch nervous?" she said quietly, trying to keep her head slightly angled down. Self-conscious.

* Faolan brushed his lips to her crown and shook his head, "Not at all little one, I am nervous too. But we need this to make a name for ourselves, I just hope she hires me."

* Dawn Chekov glanced up as she heard the speaking coming from the lobby. She had thought she had sent most everyone home except for one or two people to help her run the recording studio. She stood and made her way from her office and saw two people she did not recognize. "Welcome to Kindred Moon Records!" She said cheerily.

* Aine buried her face against Faolan's chest as the woman came in, as if hiding herself. Muffled, she whined, "Too much energy...I haven't had my coffee..."

* Faolan looked up at the woman as she walked in, then smiled as he squeezed Aine's hand again. "Hello! We saw an ad that you were looking to hire someone?" He asked gently, patting at Aine's back as he grinned through his beard. "I wanted to apply for a job." He added softly.

* Dawn Chekov 's bright blue eyes looked from the male to the female and then she smiled brightly, not caring at all that her fangs were on display for them all to see. "We have coffee in my office if you would like some..." She looked to the male again and smiled "Yes actually, I could use a new security person, the one that I had before I have taken to using as an assistant so I need someone to take her spot. Does that sound like something you would be interested in?"

* Aine perked up at the news that there was coffee in a room in the building. "Lifesaver. Truly, you are. Show me to the coffee and I will be in your debt." Her own fangs were on display as she spoke, turning to face the other woman. She hadn't seen her fangs, but was so new to having them herself...

* Faolan patted Aine's back more, more to soothe himself than her. He looked down at her, "Go get some coffee baby. Let me talk to the lady." He told her, then looked to Dawn again, "Anything will work right now. We just got a place and I have to be able to pay rent." He explained before releasing Aine to let her go get her coffee. He crossed long inked arms over his chest as he took in Dawn's appearance. "Don't I know you?" He asked gently, green eyes speculative.

* Dawn Chekov smiled as she motioned for both of them to follow her through the small hallway that lead into her large office, there was a couch, a throne, a piano and her desk as well as chairs enough for two people to sit while she was. She stood however and pointed to a small cart with a coffee machine, a fresh pot of coffee all ready to go. "Help yourself." She said to the girl and then nodded to the chairs by her desk. "Please have a seat. And I can understand that, it's quite expensive to live in this city." She said before moving over to lean against her desk. "And you may know me. I'm Prima Donna on stage."

* Aine practically ran for the coffee pot, pouring a cup black and taking a deep drink before breathing a sigh. "****, that hits the spot," she gasped under her breath, before adding more to the cup and moving to take a seat. Not a drop of sugar or cream.

* Faolan followed the woman, then watched his woman go for the coffee with a slight smile, before he turned his attention to Dawn again. He took a seat when Aine did, slipping his hand over her free one. "You are? I wasn't aware you lived in Harper Rock." He said, voice colored with surprise. Leveling his gaze at her, "I'm Faolan, by the way. This is my girlfriend Aine."

* Dawn Chekov smiled as she looked to both of them, offering her hand to them. "Pleasure to meet you, and please call me Dawn. Also I have been living in Harper Rock for well over two years now. Working on taking care of my disease." She said as she looked from one to the other. "When did you two move here?"

* Aine grinned. "I only moved here a short while ago. What, a couple weeks at most?" She giggled, offering Faolan a wink. "Turned out we grew up not far apart."

* Faolan glanced at Aine, then at Dawn and smiled wide showing blunt flat teeth. "That we did, just a stone's throw from each other." He smiled wider, rubbing his thumb over Aine's pulse as his irish brogue hung thick on his tongue. "Two years is a long time, disease?"

* Dawn Chekov smiled a bit more "That's sweet, to meet some with so much in common." She pushed away from her desk and moved to take her seat in front of the computer, typing something up real quick before she looked back to Faolan "Yes, I have the vampire disease. It has a fancy name, but vampire disease cuts to the chase." She said with a laugh. "I basically need blood to survive and I burn in the sun. Before I was living off some donors who were humans. Found out, it's better to feed off my own kind. The power they have... it helps with the hunger. The pain." She said and then glanced over to the printer that was making its usual noise as it printed something out.

* Aine sipped at her coffee, before leaning her head on Faolan's shoulder again, licking her lips momentarily. She was honestly kind of confused, but didn't bother asking. Instead, she traced a question mark on the back of Faolan's hand with her thumb, asking a silent question

* Faolan glanced at Aine and winked, "Ah, I see. So, you feed off of other... Vampires?" He asked gently, cutting his eyes to the woman as she settled herself in front of her computer.

* Dawn Chekov nodded "When one of my more willing donors are around, I do. Thankfully, the vampires blood sustains me far better than a human's ever did. With a human I was feeding daily, now I'm down to once every two weeks or so."

* Aine furrowed her eyebrows slightly, adjusting herself in her seat. "Are there any...other...benefits you get?" she asked, trying to be polite.

* Faolan glanced at Aine, wondering if that would be how their relationship would go now that she was feeding on him. He looked back at Dawn then, "I see, well.. that's a good thing, that you've been able to cut back." He said softly, tracing a heart over the flesh of Aine's hand.

* Dawn Chekov smiled to the girl "It depends on who the donor is, but I do tend to pick up their powers from time to time."

* Aine breathed a sigh. "I thought I was going mad."

* Dawn Chekov glanced to the girl once more and arched her brow "Why so?" Then she gave a wicked smirk, the kind that was playful and mischievous. "And what's wrong with going a little mad?"

* Faolan leaned back, letting the ladies talk about themselves as he thought about everything. He squeezed Aine's hand as he heard her speak, still quiet as he kept his green orbs on Dawn.

* Aine willingly bared the fangs that'd been part of her jawline for the past week. Not that Dawn needed to know that part. "Y'ever feel like you could make someone weak? Like...touch them and they'd be...tired?"

* Dawn Chekov arched her brow for a moment "Them tired or you tired?"

* Aine inclined her head. "Them."

* Faolan listened quietly, learning a new thing about Aine's current state.

* Dawn Chekov bit down on her lower lip with one fang, thinking about it for a moment. "I believe I have experienced something like that. Certain vampires have certain powers, and that... well that is one of them."

* Aine nodded, then shook her head. "This was supposed to be a job interview!" she giggled, elbowing Faolan playfully. "I'm intruding."

* Faolan blinked and smiled, "Not at all Luv, I was listening to the two of you speak. Like music to me..." He got all thoughtful and poetic, then winked at Aine. "So you said you need security for this place?"

* Dawn Chekov nodded and smiled "I'm an odd girl, I don't do things the way most stuffy business people do." She said as she stood and made her way over to the printer, she then walked back over to the two and set the paperwork before the male. "Just fill all this out please. And yes, this place is open 24-7 and I need some night time assistance in the security department."

* Faolan nodded as he read over the paperwork. "And will I eventually be able to record something here?" He asked, green eyes turning to her then, even as he signed the papers.

* Dawn Chekov smiled softly as she looked at him "You could record anything you want whenever the booth is free. I do it all the time."

* Faolan nodded and smiled at her, then signed his name on a few more documents. "Great, that's great." He said, the only betrayal of his excitement was his eyes, they were gleaming.

* Aine wrapped her hand around his arm gently, taking a sip of more coffee. "Would you mind if I popped in for a visit now and then?" The unspoken question was there, too. Would you be alright if I tried some recording, too?

* Dawn Chekov smiled as she nodded. "Yup, and you can even get his discount."

* Aine beamed. "Awesome!"

* Dawn Chekov smiles softly

* Faolan pushed the papers toward the pretty blonde and smiled, "Then it's a deal." He said, winking at Aine then.

* Aine grinned, draining the rest of her coffee and leaning against him gently. She was so much more...cuddly, when she'd had her coffee.

* Faolan petted over her hair and kept his gaze on Dawn, "When do you want me to start?"

* Dawn Chekov smiles as she looks over the paperwork then takes it and moves round to sit back at her computer. She glanced at the paper work one more time then smiled to him. "Tonight sound good?"

* Faolan smiled at her and nodded once, "Sure. Is there a uniform I have to wear or will jeans and a tshirt do?" He asked, trying to decide which shirt he'd wear. More than likely the shirt he'd lifted from the mall yesterday, but who knows.

* Aine wanted to just climb into Faolan's lap right now, but refrained, leaving her head rested on his shoulder as compromise. "I'll be waitin' for you," she murmured.

* Dawn Chekov smiled softly "We are really relaxed here, plus, with the way things have been as late, a plain closed security guard doesn't draw attention like a uniformed one does."

* Faolan nodded at Dawn and smiled down at Aine, "Babe, you should go shopping, I may need a few more t shirts." He looked at her meaningfully, she knew full well he didn't want her to sit up all night waiting for him, she needed to keep busy.

* Aine whined a little. "I don't wanna end up getting super unprofessional clothes for you," she murmured, lifting her head to rest her chin on his shoulder now. Blue eyes staring up at him, almost trying to pull a cute-face

* Dawn Chekov smiled at the cute couple, hoping that soon enough she too would be having something like they had. She then glanced back to the paper work and began to stack them and then turned towards her filing cabinet.

* Faolan raised a brow at her face, "Don't give me that.. You heard me." He told her, then winked. "Besides, you know what types of clothes I like, and I'm sure Dawn won't mind anything as long as I'm clothed. Am I right?" He looked at Dawn, smiling at her.

* Dawn Chekov laughed and nodded "Yes, sadly, regulations do ask for clothes. But whatever you have is fine with me." Hell, she herself was in a rainbow colored corset with a pink and yellow capelet around her shoulders and a yellow tutu skirt. It went perfectly with her yellow and pink platform high heeled shoes.

* Aine whined a little sharper. "I also don't exactly know your sizing by heart yet," she murmured, now sounding grumpy.

* Faolan winked at the wild woman then deadpanned at his girlfriend, "Uh... Baby... I'm huge, I would say Extra Large." He said, before kissing her nose and growling a bit. "Don't worry, whatever you get will be fine with me." He didn't say buy because of the way they operated.

* Aine giggled, dipping her head into the nose-kiss, before leaning to capture his lips in a kiss of her own. She actually planned to buy shirts this time - it was the accessories he'd need to worry more about. "Even if I dig up a Buffy shirt?"

* Faolan winced and stared at her, "Even if it's a Buffy shirt... But not of Spike, he's a whiny little *****. I'd rather Angel, at least he was handsome like me." Faolan smirked and then looked at Dawn, "So, Miss Dawn. What do you do on your off time? Maybe the three of us can go grab a drink sometime."

* Aine growled a little, the sound playful, "Hey, Spike's a sexy ********!"

* Faolan raised a brow at Aine again, then palmed her small face with his big hand and grinned, "Yeah yeah..."

* Dawn Chekov snorted a little at the two of them and continued to work on the paperwork, for a moment before she was addressed "On my time off I do what I can. And I agree, spike was pretty hot." She said with a laugh "Normally, I design clothes, jewelry, I work on my songs, paint my studio, write... whatever I feel in the mood for."

* Aine giggled, batting at his hand. "All right, all right, Angel's attractive, too! But neither one's like you. You're leagues beyond them."

* Dawn Chekov smirked again, but inside she wanted to die... she was suddenly feeling so alone. So without anyone to love her.

* Faolan smiled over at Dawn, "Well, maybe you and Aine should hangout, you can teach her how to make jewelry. Plus it'd keep her out of trouble when I'm asle--Am I?" He grinned toward his woman, "I'm a league all my own." He said, flexing a bit, she was feeding his ego.

* Dawn Chekov laughed a little "If she is ever up for hanging out, I'm up for it as well."

* Aine eyed him. Her schedule had been all wonky recently, what with his nocturnal schedule and her breaking and entering habit. "Sounds like fun."

* Dawn Chekov smiles and nods "To me as well... You can normally find me here if you ever have time."

* Faolan eyed her right back. "You should make a girl's day of it Aine." He declared, then winked at her again. "Besides, I know you've been wanting to get your nails done, I'm sure Dawn knows where you can get them done for a good price."

* Aine grinned. "Yeah, a good manicure sounds fun!"

* Dawn Chekov laughed softly as she held up her own nails. They were long, pointed, painted black with a faded red ring around the sides, there were crystals on each nail and she smirked. "I'd do them myself."

* Aine moaned lightly at the sight. They were gorgeous. "Could you teach me how to do them?"

* Faolan smiled, "Then that's great." He said, then took Aine's hand and held out her nails. "I've tried, but I'm no good... Maybe I should learn too."

* Dawn Chekov giggled and nodded "I'm all for teaching the both of you how to do it."

‹Dawn Chekov› hmmm that didn't come out right.

* Aine looked down at the poor paint job in an acid shade of blue. The color tainted her cuticles and the tips of her nails.

* Faolan snorted and chuckled, "We uh, don't need help in that department, do we Luv?"

‹Aine› No, not that part, definitely not

* Dawn Chekov laughed and nodded, though her happiness didn't reach her icy eyes.

* Aine eyed Dawn's nails again. "D'you do acrylics? Or what?"

* Faolan noted that, but said nothing, little did Dawn know, he hadn't actually done anything with his gorgeous woman, she was still pure.

* Aine wasn't about to exactly share it.

* Faolan wouldn't, unless she asked.

* Dawn Chekov smiled a bit more "I can, but these are all mine."

* Faolan didn't know the difference, he just studied her nails instead.

* Aine worried her lip with a fang. "Do you sharpen them?"

* Dawn Chekov smiles "Sometimes, but right now they are filed pretty smooth, just pointy." She said with a giggle as she inspected her own nails.

* Faolan looked down at his own short blunt nails, they were polished and shiny thanks to Aine. He looked up and smiled at the ladies.

* Aine breathed a shuddering sigh. She'd had the thought of filing her nails dagger sharp once. It'd been a fantastic feeling on her back.

* Dawn Chekov smiles softly, "So tell me more about yourselves."

* Aine bit her lip, looking at Faolan, as if anxious that she'd admit something damning.

* Faolan blinked and looked at Aine, then smiled as he looked at Dawn, "What would you like to know? We're open books."

* Dawn Chekov smiled softly as she looked at them both. "A small part of me says that may be true about you, but she looks a little worried about something." She teased and then glanced back to Faolan. "What type of music do you like to do? We normally do indie music here but I'll cover anyone that needs a good label to take care of them."

* Faolan smiled, "She's a bit nervous, because I usually answer for her. Our relationship is different for most. As for my music, it's Indie, Rock, Metal. Anything but that flop they call Rap, or Country." He answered, squeezing Aine's hand while he smiled at Dawn.

* Aine breathed a soft sigh, squeezing his hand and leaning her head on his arm, half-closing her eyes.

* Dawn Chekov smiled and nodded "Well, then I am sure you will fit in perfectly here. We offer everything here, I have some good lawyers and contract people, good managers and advertising agents. I take care of my people as best I can under KMR."

* Faolan smiled and nodded, "That's great, because I haven't ever been with a record label before, I don't know what to expect."

* Dawn Chekov nods "well, you working around here, you will get to see how everything and everyone works. It will come naturally with a bit of time."

* Faolan nodded and leaned on Aine. "I would hope so."

* Aine smiled a little, nuzzling into his shoulder. "I just want to record some tracks for private use, if that's okay? Maybe work with a vocal coach?"

* Dawn Chekov smiled, "we can offer that as well. I know lots of great ones, but if you so wish, even I can help with that."

* Faolan raised his brows, "What would it cost?"

* Dawn Chekov smiles "We can talk about that when the time comes. Normally I charge $50 an hour, some of the others I contract charge anything from $100 to $250 an hour."

* Aine bit her lip. "And...how many hours would you suggest?"

* Dawn Chekov smiled a little more "That would depend. Maybe one of those days when we meet up for our nails or jewelry you can give me a sample of your singing voice. Then i can see how long it would take to get you up to par."

* Faolan nodded and looked at Aine, "This is a good thing, then I could teach you how to play an instrument. Maybe we could start a band."

* Dawn Chekov giggles softly "our studio is well equipt with many instruments so I'm sure there is something in there she would like to learn to play. For now though, Why don't you guys go and spend some time with each other. Your shift doesn't start for another 40 or so minutes anyways."

* Faolan smiled and nodded, "That sounds good. I'll be back in thirty, just going to walk her home." He said, then squeezed Aine's hand. "Say bye Princess."

* Dawn Chekov smiles as she stands and offers her hand to first Aine and then Faolan "It was lovely to meet you, and I'll see you in 30 minutes." She said first to Aine then to Faolan

* Aine grinned, moving to hug his side. "See you soon!" she bubbled.

* Faolan shook her hand and hugged Aine to him. "See you then." He said, then led the girl out.

* Dawn Chekov nods and then takes her seat again, going back to work.
