* Faolan opened the door and smiled at Aine, "This is the place Baby. Someone said they are looking for new musicians to advertise." He said softly, squeezing her fingers with his own inked ones.
* Aine squeezed his hand right back, leaning her head in his shoulder. "Is it bad I'm a touch nervous?" she said quietly, trying to keep her head slightly angled down. Self-conscious.
* Faolan brushed his lips to her crown and shook his head, "Not at all little one, I am nervous too. But we need this to make a name for ourselves, I just hope she hires me."
* Dawn Chekov glanced up as she heard the speaking coming from the lobby. She had thought she had sent most everyone home except for one or two people to help her run the recording studio. She stood and made her way from her office and saw two people she did not recognize. "Welcome to Kindred Moon Records!" She said cheerily.
* Aine buried her face against Faolan's chest as the woman came in, as if hiding herself. Muffled, she whined, "Too much energy...I haven't had my coffee..."
* Faolan looked up at the woman as she walked in, then smiled as he squeezed Aine's hand again. "Hello! We saw an ad that you were looking to hire someone?" He asked gently, patting at Aine's back as he grinned through his beard. "I wanted to apply for a job." He added softly.
* Dawn Chekov 's bright blue eyes looked from the male to the female and then she smiled brightly, not caring at all that her fangs were on display for them all to see. "We have coffee in my office if you would like some..." She looked to the male again and smiled "Yes actually, I could use a new security person, the one that I had before I have taken to using as an assistant so I need someone to take her spot. Does that sound like something you would be interested in?"
* Aine perked up at the news that there was coffee in a room in the building. "Lifesaver. Truly, you are. Show me to the coffee and I will be in your debt." Her own fangs were on display as she spoke, turning to face the other woman. She hadn't seen her fangs, but was so new to having them herself...
* Faolan patted Aine's back more, more to soothe himself than her. He looked down at her, "Go get some coffee baby. Let me talk to the lady." He told her, then looked to Dawn again, "Anything will work right now. We just got a place and I have to be able to pay rent." He explained before releasing Aine to let her go get her coffee. He crossed long inked arms over his chest as he took in Dawn's appearance. "Don't I know you?" He asked gently, green eyes speculative.
* Dawn Chekov smiled as she motioned for both of them to follow her through the small hallway that lead into her large office, there was a couch, a throne, a piano and her desk as well as chairs enough for two people to sit while she was. She stood however and pointed to a small cart with a coffee machine, a fresh pot of coffee all ready to go. "Help yourself." She said to the girl and then nodded to the chairs by her desk. "Please have a seat. And I can understand that, it's quite expensive to live in this city." She said before moving over to lean against her desk. "And you may know me. I'm Prima Donna on stage."
* Aine practically ran for the coffee pot, pouring a cup black and taking a deep drink before breathing a sigh. "****, that hits the spot," she gasped under her breath, before adding more to the cup and moving to take a seat. Not a drop of sugar or cream.
* Faolan followed the woman, then watched his woman go for the coffee with a slight smile, before he turned his attention to Dawn again. He took a seat when Aine did, slipping his hand over her free one. "You are? I wasn't aware you lived in Harper Rock." He said, voice colored with surprise. Leveling his gaze at her, "I'm Faolan, by the way. This is my girlfriend Aine."
* Dawn Chekov smiled as she looked to both of them, offering her hand to them. "Pleasure to meet you, and please call me Dawn. Also I have been living in Harper Rock for well over two years now. Working on taking care of my disease." She said as she looked from one to the other. "When did you two move here?"
* Aine grinned. "I only moved here a short while ago. What, a couple weeks at most?" She giggled, offering Faolan a wink. "Turned out we grew up not far apart."
* Faolan glanced at Aine, then at Dawn and smiled wide showing blunt flat teeth. "That we did, just a stone's throw from each other." He smiled wider, rubbing his thumb over Aine's pulse as his irish brogue hung thick on his tongue. "Two years is a long time, disease?"
* Dawn Chekov smiled a bit more "That's sweet, to meet some with so much in common." She pushed away from her desk and moved to take her seat in front of the computer, typing something up real quick before she looked back to Faolan "Yes, I have the vampire disease. It has a fancy name, but vampire disease cuts to the chase." She said with a laugh. "I basically need blood to survive and I burn in the sun. Before I was living off some donors who were humans. Found out, it's better to feed off my own kind. The power they have... it helps with the hunger. The pain." She said and then glanced over to the printer that was making its usual noise as it printed something out.
* Aine sipped at her coffee, before leaning her head on Faolan's shoulder again, licking her lips momentarily. She was honestly kind of confused, but didn't bother asking. Instead, she traced a question mark on the back of Faolan's hand with her thumb, asking a silent question
* Faolan glanced at Aine and winked, "Ah, I see. So, you feed off of other... Vampires?" He asked gently, cutting his eyes to the woman as she settled herself in front of her computer.
* Dawn Chekov nodded "When one of my more willing donors are around, I do. Thankfully, the vampires blood sustains me far better than a human's ever did. With a human I was feeding daily, now I'm down to once every two weeks or so."
* Aine squeezed his hand right back, leaning her head in his shoulder. "Is it bad I'm a touch nervous?" she said quietly, trying to keep her head slightly angled down. Self-conscious.
