Sinners Like Us: Lust
< Adelita > “Spicy?” Adelita asked as she looked at the woman sitting at the table before grabbing a spare set of utensils off the empty table across from the couple she was currently engaged with. “Let me see?” Adelita asked before she unraveled the fork and knife from the rolled up napkin and cut into the enchilada, opposite to the side the woman had been working on eating. Lita popped the piece into her mouth and gave it a good chew, savoring each hint of spice and flavor in the dish before the Mexican woman grabbed the napkin and dabbed at her lips. “It tastes just fine to me.” Adelita locked eyes on the woman who couldn’t and wouldn’t ever gain a full appreciation for how hispanic food was supposed to taste. “But, I’ll tell you what. Dinner on the house, so you can go buy that piss poor excuse of a Mexican entree from that fast food chain a mile down the road. Get out.” Lita grabbed both the woman’s plate and her date’s plate, carried it to the kitchen and tossed them into the sink. “Gringos.” She muttered under her breath with narrowed eyes. She was irritated. Annoyed, and needed to get out of the cafe before she snapped someone’s neck.
Lita grabbed her phone from the green half-apron tied around her waist. Ruby red fingernails tapped on the phone’s screen as Lita sent Blake a text message. She had no idea what his plans were and if he even had any for he and Sirena, but too bad now. I’m stealing your-my-our-my childe for the evening. Hope you two didn’t have plans, lover. Girls night. Adelita thought about hitting send with just that singular train of thought, but added one to it. And after I have both returned, and tucked her safely into bed, I’ll meet you in yours. Was it a bold move? Absolutely, but it was just Adelita’s style. By now, there was no reason to be subtle or coy with Blake, he had to know by now that she more than enjoyed her time with him.
Lita stuffed the phone back into her apron, not expecting much, or any of a reply from Blake, as her attention shifted to Sirena. The poor girl needed help, only she didn’t know she needed it. The night Blake and Lita met Sirena, the girl was dressed in leather and while she looked simply delicious in it-she didn’t act as if she owned the outfit. The leather outfit wore her and not the other way around. It was a true travesty in Adelita’s mind. If you bought something to wear, then you should wear the **** out of it. What Sirena needed was a boost of confidence, and Adelita could more than provide that for the woman.
Lita moved to her office, pulled the phone from her apron and discarded the apron on her desk. She huffed, still clearly annoyed with the lack of taste from the customers before she sent a new message to a different party. Expect me soon. She texted Sirena, then sent another saying Wear whatever. Shopping was in order so whatever Sirena was wearing wouldn’t matter because it would get tossed in the garbage. Lita didn’t have a lot of money, right now...but she wouldn’t mind a small little splurge for Sirena since the woman so desperately needed it.
Lita would appear in front of the Sanctuary, as if she had always been there, thanks to the singular power she decided to learn on the Killer path. Celerity could have its perks, other than getting from point A to point B quickly. Sometimes a girl only had time for a quickie before she had to get on with a whole night's worth of agendas, and sometimes, nothing could be better than a quick, hard screw.
She stepped inside the main lobby and went right for the elevator. No time to waste by looking around to see who was on the main floor, or even who was at the desk. She didn’t care, as Lita was on a mission. The doors would open to the sixth floor and Lita would veer left and enter the apartment where she would just enter. Living with someone wasn’t unusual anymore. She had lived with Elighan the second they met, then Ambrose and finally Whinny and her had decided to move in together since they saw each other more than three nights a week. And now the apartment house Lita, Shadow and Whinny, which was quite interesting as all three women had very different dynamics. Lita imagined this is what college would be like.
“Hey punta.” Lita looked at the woman that was her thrall sitting on the couch watching some sort of crime show while eating a salad. “That salad isn’t going to offset all the empty calories you drank this last weekend.” Lita laughed and stuck her tongue out at her thrall before moving into her bedroom where she would change into some skinny jeans, a plum colored tank top and a black half sweater before emerging from her bedroom in search of her-Blake’s-their childe. It was uncertain how to address the woman as yet.
<Sirena> For the past four days, the only thing Sirena could think of to do with herself was hide in her room and hope this was all a bad dream. After the third day, that hope was dashed. She stared at her phone screen in the darkness, curled up in her bed as she scrolled through the messages and missed calls from her once best friend. Lory hadn't really cared about her before, but now she seemed worried. She probably would have called the cops if Sirena didn't text her back every once in awhile. She sighed heavily as she rolled onto her stomach, her black hair falling to cover her face. She wished she could complain, but the truth was that she found being a vampire more interesting than being a human. She could do so much more now. She knew that, she just hadn't run and personal tests.
Feeling her phone vibrate to alert her of a new message, Sirena sighed and frowned at the new number. She didn't have it saved in her phone, but it definitely wasn't Lory so it could only be one of two people. For some reason, she assumed Blake wouldn't know how to use a cell phone, and she assumed it was Adelita right away. She scrunched up her face and groaned. It wasn't that she didn't want to see Adelita or that she hated her, it was that she was still too embarrassed over what had happened the night she had been changed. Do I have to? was her response. Sirena laid there and waited for a response, but one didn't come fast enough for her.
Even though she didn't want to, Sirena dragged herself out of bed and dropped her blankets on the floor. She walked over to the box of clothes she had laying on the floor and she dug through it for something to wear. She had told her she could wear anything, so they must not have been going anywhere fancy or to a party, so she just decided to wear jeans and a simple black T-shirt. She was fairly certain Adelita wouldn't approve since she seemed to have better taste, buuut… She did say anything. Sirena walked into the bathroom and brushed the knotted mess of her hair straight, then tied it up into a ponytail. She lingered in front of the mirror for a few seconds. She didn't like how pale her skin looked with her dark hair hanging over her shoulders. There was too much of a difference in color. If it wasn't for her blue eyes it might look like she just jumped out of a old black and white movie.
Sirena quickly turned and left the bathroom, unable to continue staring at herself. She grabbed her jacket, knowing it would be cold outside, but doubting she would need it. Should she go without it? She huffed softly to herself before putting on the jacket. Even if she didn't need it, it might help her look more human. Sirena was desperate for a little girl-time, which is why she didn't tell Adelita ‘no thanks’. She drug her feet as she walked out of the room, looking around for Adelita. When she walked out of her room Sirena quickly spoke. “What are you planning?”

Re: Sinners Like Us: Lust
< Adelita > Adelita didn’t answer Sirena right away. Instead, as her hands found the top of the couch her thrall Whinny was sitting on as her eyes looked over Sirena. Lita knew she told Sirena to wear anything, but...Lita sighed, pushed off the couch and shook her head softly as she pouted. “I already told you. A girl’s night.” Lita moved around the couch so that she could link arms with Sirena. “Things Blake would never do with you. Most likely.” Honestly, Adelita had no idea what Blake would or wouldn’t do with Sirena in any capacity. Perhaps he would take her shopping, and maybe he would even take her to the final location Adelita picked for the pair of women.
Lita blew a kiss at Whinny as she walked towards the door with Sirena. “First, we’re going to go shopping. I need a new outfit and so do you. Or five.” Lita said quite honestly, having seen the woman the last few evenings and her clothing choices. “And then...anything can happen.” Adelita chuckled softly as they duo exited the apartment. “Can I ask you a question? It requires some thought.” Adelita asked as they continued towards the elevator. “Everyone knows, or thinks they know what their best asset is. What do you think yours is?” Lita canted her head to the side to look at Sirena, curious as to the woman’s thoughts.
<Sirena> Sirena didn't try to fight or drop Adelitas arm when she linked elbows with her. She simply sighed and followed her steps. “Shopping? I don't think I need any new clothes. We really don't have to do any shopping.” Regardless of her arguments, she still went with Adelita. Surely she had other plans for the evening and Sirena wouldn't kill her fun for the evening just because she didn't want to do some shopping. She would hold her tongue to make her happy. After all, Adelita had offered her a place to live and was going to be teaching her a few things she needed to know about being a vampire.
Sirena’s face twisted up slightly at her question and she eyed Adelita. “Do you mean literally or do you mean…” She didn't bother continuing. She knew Adelita would understand the question enough. She assumed Adelita was talking about her body and not her actual assets. After all, Sirena knew how much Adelita loved her body and other peoples just from living with her for the last new days. She pursed her lips for a moment as they walked, suddenly realizing she was hungry. She hasn't realized it until she started thinking of Whinny’s scent. She pouted a bit, not wanting to think about possibly draining a human. She wasn't ready for such a hunt yet. “We should pick up some more blood bags… I think I finished off what you had in the house-” which wasn't just two or three bags of blood. For some reason Sirena was always hungry..
< Adelita > Lita paused and looked at Sirena when she said she had finished all the blood in the house. “I had almost a week's worth. All of them?” That seemed a little...strange. Lita only ever needed one bag a night unless she had been shot at by some city thug or other mythical creatures that weren’t supposed to exist. Like vampires. Fae. Fadebeasts and other nasty buggers. “And yes, we do need to go shopping. And yes, I mean what do you like the most about yourself? I like my butt. My boobs?” Lita paused, unwrapped her arm from Sirena’s and grabbed her own boobs. “They aren’t much to write home about, but with the right outfit, they appear to be average.” Adelita gave her breasts a firm squeeze before nodding her head. “You’re very pretty. Your eyes. I don’t see a lot of women like you. Dark hair, blue eyes. You should really enhance them to draw attention to from men, or women.” Adelita hadn’t figured out what Sirena’s preference was, or if the woman even had any. Now was as good of a time as any as they waited for the elevator.
<Sirena> Sirena chuckled a bit softly and shook her head at Adelita. “I've never really thought that much about the way I look. But, if I had to choose something, I would say my best assets are my eyes.” And that was the truth. Sirena was simply average. Average breast size, average butt- there wasn't really anything about her that she thought made her stand out besides her eyes. Maybe her hands… She had nice looking hands but that wasn't much to brag about. After all, guys weren't looking at her hands. “I don't really care about stuff like that. What I consider more worth while are skills like strength and agility… I could run miles without stopping when I was still human… Not that it matters now,” she says and shrugs. “I know, I'm boring.” She chuckled softly.
< Adelita > Lita stops and stares at the woman before her. How can she not care about how she looks? Sure, Lita cared about her business and the weapons she made-but...The elevator door pings open, but Adelita doesn’t move from the spot she’s in. “Sirena, I hope we are to be very good friends for a very long time, which is why I’m helping you. Yes, skills are important, I bet you have great legs under that wardrobe you have chosen, by the way, but I was always taught to dress for the image you wish to portray to your peers.” Lita looked Sirena over and tsk’d. “Which is why we are going shopping.” Lita yanked the woman in the elevator with her and pressed the ground floor button repeatedly, as if it would make the door close faster. “And your eyes are stunning. You should also wear your hair up too.” Lita winked to the woman before pulling her hair up to see the woman’s face entirely before letting it drop through her fingers. Was it bad that Adelita had a passing thought on trying to make out with Sirena right there on the elevator?
The sound of the door opening made Lita blink as she bit down on her lip. No, she had to not sleep with at least one person she considered hers. Or at least ask Blake if he cared. She doubted he would, but again, Adelita didn’t know how he felt about his, their, no her childe. “Besides, where we are going, you’ll need to wear something a lot different.” Adelita smiled ever so sweetly as wicked thoughts poured through her head.
<Sirena> oddly enough, sirena didn't mind Adelita playing with her hair. After all, to her it was just playing. She couldn't read Adelitas mind and see what she was thinking. Sirena groaned in disapproval when Adelita mentioned changing. “If you wanted me to dress up then you should have told me. I don't dress nice unless I'm told most of the time.” She hated putting in the effort to dress nicely, put on makeup and destroy her feet with heels for only a few hours when it took so long to prepare, but she would dress nice for those she cared about. Suddenly, as if just realizing Adelita was no sweet angel, Sirena frowned and gave her a scolding look. “Okay… So what else do you have planned for tonight that you're not telling me?”
Were they going to a party or to see some friends of hers? What was wrong with what she was wearing even if they were? She had to be plotting something fiendish. As they stepped out of the elevator she glanced out of a lobby window and scrunched up her nose slightly. “Are we walking or driving? I'll drive if you want me to,” she offers.
Lita blew a kiss at Whinny as she walked towards the door with Sirena. “First, we’re going to go shopping. I need a new outfit and so do you. Re: Sinners Like Us: Lust
< Adelita > Lita gave a mock look of play at Sirena before she laughed. “Nothing law breaking.” Lita looked around the building as she shook her head. “We’re just going to the mall a couple blocks away. I don’t mind walking. The cold doesn’t seem the same now that we’re you know…” Lita tied an imaginary noose around her neck and gave it a pull, before being choked with it. “Besides, I would never upset Blake too much. He’s too much fun and I can tell there’s a fun girl in there that’s dying to get out. So let’s get moving!” Adelita gave Sirena a quick swat on the butt before the Mexican woman took off in the direction of the mall.
<Sirena> “Right… He's a cop or something, right?” She asked, then flinched and swatted at Adelitas hand after she had swatted her butt. “That's not funny ‘Lita,” Sirena hissed at her as her cheeks burned red. Seems there was still a bit of life in her yet. She stomped her feet as she walked, having to remind herself that Adelita was just having a bit of fun. Still, she wanted to slap her like she would a drunk at the bar. “No touchy the butt,” she grumbled quietly as she walked. She wasn't all too familiar with this side of town, so she would let Adelita lead the way. “So you're not going to Warn me before you drag me into hell?”
< Adelita > She froze at the end of the block when Sirena mentioned something about Blake being a cop. “I don’t think so. I would know if he had handcuffs laying around anywhere.” Lita winked, keeping that in her mind for a later play date with Blake. “He runs this school for vampires. That’s where I met him. He’s the man in charge there.” Lita explained slowly as they crossed the street. “The one who made me, he sort of fell off the face of the earth not long after. Then I made a little trouble-not the good kind, for myself and made some people angry and I’ve been kind of floating around until I joined the school and met Blake. He sort of helped me. I had nada idea what I was doing or what I should be doing. Sometimes, I still don’t.” She admitted with a small laugh, relinking their arms together. “You should join, if you haven't already. It’s rare that I say this-but he’s a good guy. He’ll be a good sire to you. A good mentor. You got lucky.” Lita gave Sirena a smile of encouragement before she stopped in front of a store window and scanned it. “Do you have any hobbies?” Lita finally asked after disregarding the pair of heels in the window with a simple turn away from them.
<Sirena>Hesitating a moment, Sirena not down on her tongue. She shook her head slowly. “I don't know why I thought he was a cop,” she laughed lightly and rolled her eyes. “I'll enroll when I feel a little more comfortable about being around him… He still freaks me out a bit,” she says honestly and frowned. She felt a bit sad after admitting that she was afraid of Blake. She didn't really have much of a reason to be scared of him besides The fact that he was a vampire, and she was now as well. Still… She knew he had to be much older… She quickly snapped out of her own thoughts and watched Adelita as she looked in the window. “I… Watch people,” she says and laughed softly. “That sounds disturbing but I like guessing their next step and what they're thinking. It's not really something you can collect, but it keeps my occupied.”
< Adelita > “It’s probably his strong and stoic nature. I find it sexy, don’t you?” Adelita asked as they moved from the store and towards the mall once again. “He freaks you out?” Adelita asked, having never felt that way about Blake before. Intimidated? Absolutely. Scared of the guy? Obviously not. “Besides, I wouldn’t let him harm a single hair on your head.” Lita had no female friends, and hoped that would change with Sirena. Lita let go of Sirena’s arm and gave her a playful, gentle push. “Pervert.” She accused the woman before Adelita relooped their arms together. “Were you watching Blake and I the night we met?” Sirena, her and Blake in a threesome popped into her mind, how could it not after hearing what she had just heard. “We aren’t normally that bad in public. I promise you.” Because they rarely went out in public, she thought, amused with the way she worded it to suit Sirena’s propriety, while knowing the truth. They were that bad in their own privacy.
“Finally.” Adelita complained softly before moving inside the mall with Sirena. “So, do you like watching men or women more?” Sirena wasn’t as forthcoming with information as Adelita was, which suited her just fine considering her path. Blake and her were the same type of vampire, and he normally seemed very...reserved, minus the exception of the party.
<Sirena> Sirena blushed and swatted at Adelita again when she called her a pervert. “It's not like that! Besides, it's not like you have much room to talk. You flirt with a lot of people.” She narrowed her blue eyes at her slowly. “It makes me wonder what you think when you spend too long staring at me,” she remarked, figuring it would be fun to see Adelitas reaction. She cleared her throat and forced her gaze to the right where the mall could be seen close by at that point.
“Unfortunately…. Yes. I was watching you, but it was only because I knew Blake had to be a vampire.” She sighed with annoyance again as she rushed a hand through her hair and gripped a handful of the black and tangled mess. “Gah! That's so embarrassing just to think about,” she practically screamed. Once she calmed down she took a moment to mull over Adelitas question and she kept her face turned away from her new friend, shyly. “I don't know…. Guys I guess. They're more fun to try and figure out. Why does it matter?”
< Adelita > Lita listened to what Sirena had to say, pulling the woman to the right side of the mall before she started talking. “Mmm. It’s true.” Was all she said about the flirting thing at first. “Most of it is perfectly harmless. Well, maybe about fifty percent.” She winked at Sirena before approaching the rest of the comments made by Sirena. “I hardly stare. I’m simply appreciating beauty at its finest. Besides, do you really want to know all the wicked things that goes on in my brain when I look at you?” Adelita laughed before darting off to a store that seemed to have a little bit of everything when it came to clothing. Jeans, skirts, tops, dresses and even pajamas. Not any type Adelita would wear, but to each their own.
“Why are you embarrassed? I’m not.” Adelita rolled her shoulders as she moved towards the skirt and dresses section. “So what? You were watching. Probably at least two or three others were too.” Lita assured Sirena as she started pulling some casual dresses off the rack and holding them up against the other woman. “And it doesn’t. Matter your preference. Man, woman, both. I was just curious for our final destination for the night. Me? I think everyone deserves a little love.” The statement would probably indicate that to Sirena that Adelita had no preference, which was true, but perhaps something the woman didn’t actually know until now.
Re: Sinners Like Us: Lust
<Sirena> chuckled softly, Sirena shook her head at the woman beside her. “Well, when you put it that way I guess I really don't want to know what you're thinking.” She folded her hands behind her back as Adelita bounced about, looking in shops before deciding which one she wanted to shop in. She eyed Adelita carefully. “I still worry what sort of devious plans you have for later this evening.” Sirena began to think back to the night she met both Adelita and Blake, the night she was changed, and she remembered how Adelita and Blake acted together. It was like they couldn't keep their hands off of each other. There had to be a few others staring besides herself. “And still, you noticed me first. I feel so special.”
Sirena glanced down at the dress Adelita had picked off of a wrack and she simply shook her head before walking away. “That looks ghastly,” she laughed and she began looking through another rack of clothes. She had clothes shopping because she could never find anything she liked. Maybe Adelita could help her choose something she would looked better in, but Sirena wouldn't wear a dress even if only to make Adelita happy. She needed to be able to move freely in the clothes she wore. She noticed a few other women in the store, who stared at the two of them until Sirena eyes whipped up at them. They quickly averted their gaze and Sirena went back to looking through the clothes. “I take it you like both men and women, yes?”
< Adelita > “I’m thinking all sorts of things.” Adelita admitted openly. “For instance, I’m thinking about what we’re going to do later. And what sort of clothes would best suit you and the nights activities.” Lita put the supposed ghastly dress back on the rack, with a sigh. “You should not worry so much. That is your biggest problem. You worry. You live forever, so what is there to worry about?” Adelita turned around and put both arms on Sirena’s shoulder so she could look into those stunning blue irises of hers. “The only thing you need to worry about is being so worried, you forget to have some fun. But thankfully for you, you have me.” Lita smiled before winking at Sirena. “In truth, it was Blake who noticed you first.” Adelita admitted openly, not that she didn’t find the woman interesting after Blake put the image of the woman in her head.
Lita paused to think about the question, hands dropping off her shoulders. “I like men more than women, but I find them to both have admirable and worthy qualities.” Adelita grabbed a skirt that would go with the top Sirena was wearing and shoved it in her hands and pointed to the dressing room while Lita grabbed a black, form fitting mini-skirt to go with her own top. “Honestly, I find men much more appealing when it comes to the nature of sex, but I’ve been screwed over by so many of them-not in the tie me up, spank me and give me mind blowing sex sort of way, but the literal sense, that I find comfort in my own gender. I haven’t been royally screwed over by any women.” Shoulders lifted as her mind went to a different place, a much more happier place. “Don’t worry, I won’t take advantage of you unless you want me to.” Lita said quietly after she snaked around Sirena and gave her butt a quick grope before ducking into a fitting room.
<Sirena> Sirena swatted at her as she ran to the changing rooms. She managed to avoid Sirena swatting, but, even still, Sirena grumbled softly and walked into the changing room. Skirts were truly just as back as dresses, but they were alright. At least it she wore some tights under them she could still run freely. Sirena shook her head at her own thoughts. What was she thinking? Skirts were horrible. She sighed and locked the changing rooms door and stripped off her jeans. She slid the skirt on and groaned, not liking it at all. Maybe it looked better than she thought it did. “I hope we're not staying out all night,” she called to Adelita as she walked by her door. She sat and waited for Adelita to come back out so she could judge the way the skirt looked on Sirena.
“I love a good party, don't get me wrong, but I feel like you're about to drag me into a trap,” she says, laughing softly. She pushed a lock of raven black hair back over her shoulder before folding her arms across her chest. Seeing her own hair color made her think of Blake again. Maybe she should consider going to the school. Maybe they could tell her something that would help with her hunger problem… She worried what plans Adelita had, but, more than that, she worried about accidentally killing some innocent human. She closed her eyes and rubbed her forehead, seeming frustrated with her thoughts. “A sexual trap,” she continued and chuckled a bit, trying to figure out whatAdelita had planned exactly.
< Adelita > “Not all night. I have plans for after bar close.” Lita looked up at the ceiling, as if looking up would amplify her tone of voice for Sirena to hear her in the fitting room besides her. The door opened after a few more seconds and Lita looked at Sirena. “I’m super jealous of your legs.” Her eyes stayed locked on Sirena’s legs before Lita stepped back to get the whole view from afar. “You have to buy more skirts. Or I will. Merry Christmas, happy birthday and whatever else you celebrate. Each holiday deserves a skirt.” Lita winked to the woman before shrugging her shoulders. “A sexual trap? Sounds like my kind of trap.” Adelita laughed and then look Sirena in the eyes. “So? Is it short enough?” Lita hiked the skirt she was wearing up just a little more before smoothing the fabric down with her hands. “You’re getting that skirt and wearing it. We have to dress to a code for where we are going. And I won’t let you wear dress pants. Old women wear those.” Lita wrinkled her nose before heading back into her stall to collect the jeans she had been wearing. Once Lita’s was collected, she zipped into the stall Sirena had been in, scooped those jeans up and moved back to the main part of the store where she would hand the jeans to the sales clerk and tell her to make them disappear.
The Mexican woman would return her attention to Sirena by looping their arms once again. “Right, so what size are you so I can text Whinny to do something with her night other than get fat on our couch?” Lita asked, but she didn’t actually wait for an answer before the woman slipped her fingers in the top of Sirena’s skirt and saw for herself. As they made their way to the checkout counter, Lita grabbed her phone, texted the name of the shop, the size of Sirena and told Whinny to knock herself out with some shopping for Sirena. Once the skirts were paid for, Lita tugged Sirena out of store and to the main part of the mall.

Re: Sinners Like Us: Lust
<Sirena> “I seem to be digging my own grave,” Sirena says as she closes her eyes for a moment, slightly annoyed with herself for giving Adelita ideas. She watched Adelita walk into her stall and grab her jeans and she jumped up quickly. “Hey, those are my favorite jeans!” She snapped as Adelita have the clerk the order to dispose of them. She pouted a bit. “Are you just going to throw away all of my clothes you don't like?” She asked and raised a sharp brow at Adelita. “If that's what you're planning I'll start locking the door when I leave!” She put her hands on her hips, showing a bit of attitude. Of course she didn't want to get rid of all her comfy clothes. There was no way she would wear skirts for the rest of her life.
Despite her disapproval, Sirena told Adelita her size. If anyone could help her get out of her comfort zone it was Adelita and she needed that right now. She was enjoying their time spent together, and was glad she had come with ‘Lita… Even though she just got rid of her favorite jeans. She followed after her, her arms still folded across her chest. She noticed a few people staring at the two of them and few brave guys even dare to whistle. She sneered with distaste. “Guys are such jerks,” she grumbled. “Now where are we going?”
< Adelita > Adelita twisted her lips in mild amusement as she listened to Sirena’s defiance. “Feisty. I can work with that.” Adelita winked to the woman before bringing a hand to her lips and blowing a kiss in Sirena’s direction. “And no, but we aren’t going to carry clothes around the city. That’s what hobo’s do.” Adelita raised her shoulders into a shrug before looking at the ‘guys’ Sirena was talking about. “Actually, they just want attention and you making your face like that gave them that attention. Even if it wasn’t the result they wanted, they still got your attention. Most men are completely primitive in their responses to the female body and they’re letting you know you’re hot. Nothing jerky about it.” Adelita laughed before looking away, completely disinterested with these men. “We’re going to a club. Of sorts.” Adelita replied, giving a small preview of their final destination for the night. “Oh, do you know what a safe word is?” Adelita asked as they went through the prime entryway of the mall and back to the city streets.
<Sirena> Sirena looked at Adelita, completely dumbfounded. “A safe word?” She asks. “I'm almost too afraid to ask, but I'm going to assume it has something to do with going to that club tonight, right?” Sirena glanced back at the guy who had whistled at them to see them still staring. One of the waved and she sneered again whipped her head back around. They laughed behind the two women's backs and she huffed softly. “If they want attention or see something they like there are better way to go about showing it. That's just disturbing,” she remarks. “They need to learn some manners. One can only guess what they're thinking.” She paused a moment. “Likely something along the lines of what you're thinking when you're with Blake,” she says a bit teasingly.
< Adelita > “I said it was sort of a club.” Lita said with a devious smile that touched both her eyes and her lips. “Forget about them.” Adelita wrapped her arms around the woman as they walked side by side. “Have you ever had sex before?” Adelita was starting to wonder if Sirena was what Lita referred to Elighan as, ‘A square.’ “It’s okay if you haven’t-but it might explain some things.” Adelita walked silently for a minute or so as they crossed the street. “So, sometimes, people that are screwing like to try new things, push boundaries.” Adelita said, not at all caring who heard their conversation as they walked to the train station.
“So they come up with a word that they can use. To let the other know that they aren't comfortable with whatever they are doing anymore.” Adelita thought in silence for a couple seconds before snapping the fingers of her free hand. “There was this safe word I used before with this guy who was into some band...” Adelita had to think for a few minutes on what that band was. “He was really into it. Nickelback.” Lita nodded her head. “That was it.” She rolled her shoulders before grabbing some money from her coat pocket and buying two tickets. “So tonight, if you're uncomfortable with anything-you should have a safe word. So I know to come rescue you.” Adelita winked as she passed one of the two train tickets to Sirena. “My thoughts are only ninety-seven percent perverted when I think of Blake. Besides, you can't look me in the eyes and tell me he's not screwable.” Lita said as she hopped into the train, grabbed Sirena's hand and pulled her in with her.
<Sirena> Sirena eyed Adelita for a moment with concern. “I’m seriously debating over walking back home right now,” she states after Adelita had explained what exactly a ‘safe word’ was. She fidgeted a bit slightly before nodding her head. “And… if you really must know, no I haven’t ever had sex.” She hated admitting that sense it probably made her look a bit childish considering her age. “I’ve never really been interested in someone like that. Besides, most people I know thought I was strange and probably weren’t interested then and won't be interested now. And I don’t do one-night-stands,” she says, trying to act quick to defend herself. She really didn’t know if she needed to around Adelita or not. She felt like she needed to even though Adelita suggested she didn’t.
“You’re going to have to tell me a little more about where we’re going if you want to get me off of this train,” she says and rests her hands in her lap. “I’m not walking into some crazy sex trap if that’s what you’re thinking!” she scolded and pointed a finger at Adelita. She was starting to get a little nervous. Was it too late to choose a safe word? Because she would be saying it right now.
< Adelita > Lita put a hand up at Sirena, because she was giving her far more information than Lita asked for in one go. “Interested in someone like...Blake? Or someone, being anyone in the world?” Lita found it next to impossible to find either of those options to be possible, because Blake was obviously attractive. She wouldn’t be screwing him if he wasn’t some sort of delicious eye candy. And everyone thought someone was attractive. “One night stands aren’t the most terrible thing on the planet, you know.” Adelita lifted her shoulders into a small shrug, before approaching what she thought was the bigger issue. “I think...no, I know, what your problema is.” Adelita was positive that Sirena lacked confidence with herself in a variety of ways, not just from what she wore, but something internal to. “Which is why I’m helping boost your confidence tonight. No strings attached, just getting your feet wet.” Her small smirk returned to her lips before Adelita sighed. “I really don’t want to threaten someone that I hope I can be good friends with, but…” She turned to look Sirena dead in the face. “If you do not get off the train, then I will make the biggest scene you have ever been part of and I’ll start by groping your butt.” Adelita winked to the woman before looking out the window of the moving train to make sure they hadn’t missed their stop.
<Sirena> Sirena groaned and slouched in her seat. She probably wouldn't find this night as much fun as Adelita would. “I somehow feel like you didn't hear a word I just said,” Sirena groaned. “Alright. If that's the way you want to play I'd like to know what the safe word is now.” How was she going to survive the night with Adelita? So much for a little girl time… “I think I would have preferred trying on shirts most of the night,” she says with a soft laugh. “Well, if getting off the train requires a threat I guess that means we're walking into a sex trap, right? Should I be worried?”

Re: Sinners Like Us: Lust
< Adelita > “It’s called selective listening. I’m hearing you, but am only answering the important things that need to be answered.” Lita said before climbing into Sirena’s lap. Could she have sat next to her? Absolutely. Did she want to? No. “You have to pick the safe word. If you left it up to me, then I would say sweet cheeks works.” Lita winked at the woman as she loosely draped her arms around Sirena. “And anything to do with sex is hardly a trap.” Adelita grabbed a rubber band that was around Sirena’s wrist, pulled the woman’s hair back and put it in a sloppy pony. “Mucho mejor.” Lita winked to the woman as she pulled some wisps of dark hair from out of the pony to frame the woman’s face. “Our stop.” Lita pounced up, grabbed Sirena’s hand and tugged her off the train. “I already told you I won’t let anything bad happen to you.” Adelita’s version of bad compared to most other people’s version was probably a lot different, but what Sirena didn’t know, wouldn’t hurt her. “Oh! I almost forgot.” Adelita reached into her coat pocket and pulled out two things. One, was a wad of bills, petty bills, unrolled, divvied up and stuffed in Sirena’s coat pocket. The other was her red lipstick that Adelita pulled the top off of, and applied to Sirena’s lips. “Perfect.” Adelita said before putting the rest of the money in her coat, then the lipstick and grabbed the woman’s hand and led her to a brick building that appeared to be two floors, smack dab in the middle of a semi-large parking lot. “You’ll need your I.D.” Adelita pulled out her own before climbing the stairs and showing it to the guy. He studied it for a really long time, then her, and it again before handing it back and asking for the ten dollar cover charge. Lita happily supplied it, along with Sirena’s and then when she had her Identification card checked, Lita pulled her down a flight of stairs to a room, where they would first see a bar and then when the two looked right a circular stage, with seats strategically placed against the high walled stage.
<Sirena> Though she still felt like running, Sirena followed Adelita’s actions and stayed quiet until they entered the club. “It looks a bit like a strip joint,” she remarks with a sigh. Well, at least things didn’t seem as bad as what she had previously imagining. She still needed to think of a safe word just encase things got messy. She hated how she really had to think about this so long. She always over thought things, but she didn’t know if she would rather have Adelita choose a word sense she would most likely make it sound dirty. That wasn’t bad, it was just…. dirty. She was tempted to take her hair back down to hide her face with her hair, but she knew it wouldn’t last long. Adelita would probably just make her put it back up.
After a few seconds of standing, she slowly made her way out to a few seats and sat down, crossing her legs and she held her hands in her lap. “The safe word will be… radioactive,” she says and gives a small shrug. Maybe it was stupid, and maybe it wasn’t, but it would serve its purpose.
< Adelita > “It looks like it, because it is a strip club.” Adelita looked at Sirena with some minor form of contempt. “How do you even know about a strip club, but you’ve never had sex?” Lita wrapped hands around Sirena’s shoulders to kneed the woman’s shoulders with those hands. Still awaiting the safe word, Lita kept giving the woman a massage, attempting to help Sirena relax. When the word finally came, Adelita thought it both amusing and fitting. “I can work with that.” Lita winked at Sirena, linked their hands together and planted Sirena in one of the chairs. “I’ll go get us some drinks.” Lita winked to Sirena after removing her coat and grabbing some cash from those pockets.
There had been a couple of women already in the club, and more kept trickling in as Lita moved to the bar to order two drinks, primarily for herself since she was positive Sirena didn’t drink or eat. Only blood. Lots and lots of blood. Which reminded Adelita to bring up that conversation again. Once Lita had ordered a sexy blue eyes and wet fantasy shot, she returned to Sirena and set the drinks on the bar surrounding the stage. “This one made me think of you.” Adelita pushed the bright blue colored drink in Sirena’s direction, then took it back. “But, no drinking.” A hand moved to Lita’s lips so she could blow Sirena a kiss, before moving on to a more serious topic. “What’s with the blood thing? I’m not complaining about you being so thirsty, it just seems a little...strange?” Adelita asked, broaching the topic both quietly and softly.
<Sirena> Siren was starting to get use to Adelita’s fun and game. She seemed to like teasing Sirena sense she got a funny reaction from her, but that was just starting to seem normal to her now. Adelita liked to have fun, and even though Sirena was too shy to tease back she would play along a bit. “Better be careful. Blake might get jealous,” she teased with a smirk. Sirena frowned stiffly at Adelita when she asked about her thirst problem. “Don’t tell me it’s not normal for new vampires to be this hungry all the time…” she says. Great. That was just what she needed. Maybe there really was something wrong with her. She sighed, trying not to dwell on it too much. Maybe she was just overreacting a bit. “I don’t know what it is really. I just feel this pit in my stomach and it needs to be filled. I’m not even that hungry most of the time, but I can’t help it. The blood bags are the first thing I think to go for.”
Sirena tapped her fingers on the table top and eyed the small shot of blue alcohol. “Why no drinking? Am I not allowed to drink now that I’m a vampire or…?” She raised a sharp eyebrow at Adelita. Hearing a group of girls laughing as they crowded together, Sirena turned her head slightly to look at them. Could they be any louder? She laughed a bit. “Odd. There sure are a lot of girls here for a strip club.” She chose not to answer Adelita’s question about how she knew what a strip club was. TV could be educational… just not in the best ways.
< Adelita > Lita brought the shot to her lips as Sirena mentioned something about Blake and jealousy. Adelita laughed and shook her head. “One, I don't think Blake wears jealousy. I could probably text him right now and tell him that we're in the middle of a massive orgy and he'd reply with being here in ten minutes to join. Two, I'm not delusional about my ‘relationship’ with your sire. I know where my place is. Against a wall, under his desk, in his bed. Places like that. Nothing for him to be jealous over.” Adelita laughed before making the shot disappear in a single, solid slurp.
“As for your problema, no. I've never heard of someone being excessively thirsty just because they are new.” Adelita set the empty shot glass down before she continued. “I'm a one pack a day kind of girl, but maybe I'm wrong? There's a lot I still don't know.” Brown eyes scanned for an indication that things were about to start, but she knew there was still a few minutes. “And if you drink this, I'm ninety-eight percent sure you'll barf it up on some hot dancer. Best not try it, hmm?” Lita returned her line of sight to Sirena. “Radioactive, right?” Lita asked with a devious curl of her lips as a woman came over the P.A. system welcoming all the ladies to the first male and female strip club in Harper Rock. More specifically, welcoming them to the part of the lounge that would fulfill every woman's fantasy, known as ‘The Cockpit.’

Re: Sinners Like Us: Lust
<Sirena> Sirena was surprised Adelita didn't tease her about her choice in a safe word. She smiled a bit sheepishly. “As you can tell, I'm not very good at this stuff. But yes, that would be the word. Unless you'd like to change it, of course,” she says with a small shrug of her shoulders.
She looked at the empty shot glass and sighed. “Well, I'm not willing to trust the other two percent. It will definitely get messy.” The pale woman pulled her tied hair over her shoulders and ran her fingers through it quickly as though she was nervous. She gave Adelita a scolding look as the woman's voice rang through the room. “I hardly see why a safe word is even necessary. Seems to me like the men on stage are the ones who will need it,” she remarks and nods her head towards the stage to make a point. She had never been to a strip club, but she was sure things were bound to get a little out of control. She shifted in her seat, feeling a little uncomfortable. “This isn't really my kind of place, ‘Lita,” she says with a slight whine. “Do we really have to stay here?”
< Adelita > Adelita listened to what Sirena has to say and then laughs at her naive nature. Her eyes fell on a wall with a few booths with white silky screens, but she made no point to draw any attention to those curtained areas. In time, Sirena would understand. “What is your type of place, Sirena?” Adelita couldn’t wait to hear a list of boring places she wouldn’t ever step into, unless her life depended on it and even then, it might be up for debate.
“How about a deal? A couple opening acts and then we’ll see if you need to use that safe word?” Lita suggested with a small look around as the first dancer came on stage, dressed in a mechanic’s get up. “You should put this.” Lita pushed a five near Sirena. “Near his dipstick when he comes around.” She laughed as Lita picked up the other drink and started sipping it down, eyes bouncing around the club, looking for just the right person.
<Sirena> Smiling a bit Sadly at Adelita, Sirena simply shook her head. “I’m sure you could guess that much on your own. You read me like a book.” She glanced down at the five as Adelita pushed it near her and she simply stared at Adelita in shock. “You can’t seriously expect me to do that,” she squeaked out, pushing the five back towards her friend. “You do it!”
Shy and embarrassed, Sirena sunk down in her seat slightly, folding her arm across her chest childishly. She was having fun with Adelita so far, but trying to make her approach the man was just asking for trouble. She would most likely be caught staring a little too intently when she got close and to her that was something to be shameful of. As the first dancer came closer to them she quickly looked away shyly, not even glancing at him as he passed.
< Adelita > Lita laughed at Sirena’s behavior and took the five back willingly. “Alright, since you’re twisting my arm.” She said silkily before collecting the money in her right hand. “It’s not like I said you have to touch it.” Adelita rolled her shoulders up and then let them drop as the dancer approached them, revealing his silver colored, low rise trunks and thrusting his pelvis in their direction. “Besides, even if I did, there are a lot worse things to touch than a penis, or boobs.” Adelita said as she extended the hand with the money towards the guy and put it between the hem of his crotch and thigh. “See? Perfectly harm-” Lita said, her head facing Sirena, up until her hair was grabbed and the dancer pushed her face right into his package, his other hand behind his back, as if that would give him some added momentum or something.
Before he got too into it, he released Adelita’s head and then her hair and went on to the next person holding out some money. “Harmless.” Adelita concluded before slipping a couple dollars to Sirena. “He’s not going to ravage you or something.” She said with a wink before letting her eyes rotate back to the closed curtain area.
<Sirena> Obviously not agreeing with Adelita, they black haired woman simply shook her head. She hadn’t been the one to be grabbed by the dancer but even still she blushed and hid her face from the scene. She knew it was a very childish reaction, but she really couldn’t help that. “Ya know, maybe in a hundred years I could get use to stuff like that, but even the thought of it all makes me panic. I don’t know what you were thinking when you brought me here,” she says with a nervous laugh.
Sirena looked down at the money as she passed it over. She paused a moment before reaching out to take it. “If I’m giving money to a stripper I’ll choose where to put it,” she remarks as she curls a loose fist around the small bills. She rests her elbow on the table and holds her chin up as she stares at the stage until she notices Adelita’s gaze. Instead of turning to look she simply raised a brow at her friend. “What? What are you staring at?”
< Adelita > Lita rolled her eyes as she set the glass down and looked at Sirena. “I was thinking of getting your virginal cherry popped.” Adelita admitted without a pause, or second guess. The look on her face was mild amusement, but said very much so that this was Adelita’s mission. Lita stood up slowly and came behind Sirena to place both hands on each side of her head and focus it in the direction of the curtained room. “I was looking over there.” Adelita said as one hand left Sirena’s face and extended to point towards the area for extra emphasis.
“It’s a very private and elite place back there and for a small fee, you can go right in there.” Lita linked their hands together and gave the hand a tug. “Come on.” She pulled a little harder, as the other hand motioned for two males, one brunette and one with sandy dirty dishwater colored hair to come join them in the curtained area.

Re: Sinners Like Us: Lust
<Sirena> “Whoa whoa whoa! That's completely out of the question!” she says, narrowing her eyes at Adelita. Maybe she thought that would be fun, but Sirena had never even held hands with a guy before, so Adelitas plan was a bit too extreme for her. Well, maybe more than a bit. Sirena narrowed her eyes at the room with the curtain and attempted to glance back at Adelita. “You know what? You're crazy,” she say, obviously joking even though her tone was serious.
Sirena stumbled after Adelita as she dragged her towards the room with the curtain. She dragged her feet, hoping it would slow them down a bit. “Oh come on,” she whined childishly. “Can't I just wait at the table?” She looked at the two men Adelita had beckoned with her wave and she looked down quickly. This could get messy…. Was it too late to use that safe word. “I'll say the word,” she threatens, as though that would stop her.
< Adelita > “I said thinking. You’re harder to break into than that place….Fort Knox or whatever.” Adelita snorted softly before laughing at being called crazy. “I think I’m eccentric? Fun? Maybe the little devil on your shoulder even. But I am not muy loco en la cabeza.” A finger went up to Sirena’s lips, preventing her from saying the safe word. “Don’t worry so much. I will keep you very safe.” Lita pressed her red lips to Sirena’s cheek and then tugged them into the booth where the Mexican woman stood next to Sirena once Lita shoved her in a chair. The two men followed not long after and then looked between the two women. “Be gentle boys. She’s new to this scene.” Lita slipped out two twenties from her pockets and gave each male one of them before throwing a stash of bills on Sirena’s lap. “Put them wherever you want to.” She laughed as one male came behind Sirena and the other in front of her and started working their magic mike skills.
<Sirena> “How the hell are you supposed to protect me if you’re walking away!?” Sirena almost screeched as she watched Adelita hand them the money. She glanced at the two men and she sunk down in her seat slightly, debating over whether or not she should just run out of the booth. Odds were Adelita would wait outside just encase and would just push her back in. “You’re not funny, ‘Lita!” Sirena snapped at her as she walked out of the booth. Sirena seemed to shrink a few sizes as she looked between the two men. She would hate to snap at him and tell them to leave her alone or not to touch her since they were just doing their jobs. After all, Adelita had already paid for them to do what they do best. “Please don’t do anything extreme,” she squeaks, practically cowering in her seat.
< Adelita > Adelita might have left the booth, but she didn’t go far. No way! She wasn’t going to miss getting her watch on and since she sort of paid for it, it should be fine. RIght? Adelita thought so, but as she saw a petrified Sirena wishing she would be eaten alive by the chair and made to disappear forever, Lita sighed and re-entered the booth. Lita grabbed two more twenties and pressed each one against the chest of a male before putting her hands up in the air and coaxed Sirena to get up out of the chair with her fingertips clapping against the palm of both hands. “Come on. Come to momma, Sirena.”
Adelita had never met anyone so scared of men, let alone her own sex appeal, so Lita would have to take some baby steps, but she wasn’t waiting. This was a time was money deal, so a set of hands grabbed Sirena’s wrist and tugged her from the chair, before claiming it as her own and pulling Sirena on her lap. “There, now we can have fun together.” Adelita smiled, rather pleased with herself.
<Sirena> blinking at Adelita stupidly, Sirena hesitated to stand when she beckoned her and she need to be pulled out of the seat. For a moment she thought that Adelita had listened to her pleas, until she was made to sit in her lap. Sirena couldn't hide the look of embarrassment from her face so she put her hands over it, hoping to cover it up slightly. “You're so mean,” she whined quietly, like a child afraid of the dark. She knew she must have looked pretty pathetic at that moment, but she couldn't help how shy she was. She figured the two guys would be staring at her like she was crazy. She might be old enough to be in a club or a strip joint but it appeared as though she wasn't mature enough yet. Still, she would sit with Adelita and hope to avoid any further embarrassment. She removed her hands from her face after she had calmed herself down a bit.
< Adelita > Adelita tsk’d at being called mean. “Your version of mean and mine are two very different things. I like to think...I’m very helpful. At least when you’re alone with a man in the near future, you won’t vomit or pass out on the poor guy.” Adelita said with a small laugh before taking Sirena’s hand in her own as a male dancer progresses towards them, strutting his stuff, trying to get a rise from them. “Just relax, Sirena.” Adelita coaxed the woman gently before pressing the woman’s hand to the male’s chest and letting it lay there. Slow and steady won the race, in Lita’s eyes, even if it was painfully slow baby steps. Sirena had a long time to live and even if she had never been with a guy, to say she would never be with a guy for decades or even hundreds of years seemed far fetched and unlikely. So, she needed to start somewhere and learn.
<Sirena> Sirena lip quivered slightly as though she was about to cry, but it was just fear. She knew she would never freak out if she was left alone with someone she loved, and one of the main reasons why she was panicking was because she didn't know either of these men. Adelita might have thought this was all harmless fun, but Sirena thought it was just a little embarrassing. She was sure these guys would only laugh about her reaction to all of this later. Sirena forced herself to swallow the lump in her throat and look up at the man when Adelita had her rest her hand on his chest. Apart from being freaked out, she really didn't know how she was supposed to react or what she was supposed to do. Remembering the roll of bills Adelita had given to her, she took one of the bills and tucked it in between his hip and loose clothing. Of course it didn't help that her hands were shaking.
< Adelita > Lita was actually starting to second guess her mission. The mexican woman was afraid Sirena was going to make a runner for it and potentially knock one, or both men on their asses, or...wat? Vomit on them? Scream at them? Fight them? The latter was unlikely, yet Lita couldn't help but feel a lot of emotions that she couldn’t register as her own.
This wasn’t the first time she’s been here. Or at any strip club, but maybe it was all Sirena, or maybe it was the point there were two men in here. No, that can’t be it either. Threesomes weren’t something the woman never experienced before. Still, the woman averted her eyes at the moment Sirena put the bill in a place to her liking as Adelita started feeling jittery. Anxious. Apprehension. “Shows over, boys!” Lita proclaimed, her own body shivering before she moved to stand up, with Sirena in front of her.
“Come on.” Adelita said, grabbing the woman’s hand, because she wanted nothing more than to get out of this claustrophobic space. But, she couldn’t let Sirena know that she had changed her mind. That it felt unsafe here suddenly and being in this curtained area made Adelita uneasy. “You guys look like you’re having seizures.” Adelita snapped at them, before removing the two of them from the ‘elite’ room Lita had told Sirena about a few minutes ago.
<Sirena> Without asking any questions, Sirena followed Adelita out of the room. She looked a bit dazed and confused since Adelita had rushed them out so quickly. She didn't know if Adelita had finally started thinking of how Sirena really felt, or if she simply didn't like the way the men were dancing. She cleared her throat, slowly starting to calm down now that she wasn't trapped between two nearly naked men. “I didn't think you'd be too happy if I used the safe word,” she laughed a bit. “But I guess it didn't just make me uncomfortable.” She was glad they were out of the small room and hopefully they would be leaving soon. “Can we just go home and watch those cheesy dramas you like so much?” She asked, trying one more time to convince Adelita to leave with her. She tried to give Adelita her best smile, but it was simply sheepish and shy after the events of the night.
< Adelita > Lita inched around some drink servers after the women all but flew from the curtained room, Adelita’s feelings started to dwindle and shrink down. “You should have used the safe word ages ago. Those guys sucked.” Adelita huffed, even though as they walked away, she didn’t quite believe herself. She liked the idea of it initially, but now?

Re: Sinners Like Us: Lust
< Adelita >The woman paused, turned to face her-Blake’s childe and then ‘tsk’d.’ “They are not cheesy and they are called Telenovelas.” Adelita corrected Sirena pronunciation, because telenovela’s were her world. “Sometimes, it’s nice to watch things where things work out. Eventually. After all the backstabbing and deceit passes by.” Adelita rolled her shoulders before heading to the stairs, no longer holding on to Sirena’s hand, so that the Mexican woman could use the railing against the wall instead. Lita would squeeze closer to the wall as women moved past the two of them to get their way down to the cockpit. There were more people going down than up at this time-primarily because it was still really early in the night and the shows have just started going on not even twenty minutes ago.
<Sirena> “Tela-nov ellas?” Sirena asked and then burst into laughter, fully aware of how badly she had butchered the pronunciation of the word. “I’m sorry. I'm too white to pronounce it correctly,” she laughed softly, the tension and fear completely rolling off her shoulders. She followed Adelita as she lead the way to the stairs. “I’m just going to keep calling them dramas to avoid looking completely stupid.” She picked up her pace so she followed at Adelitas side. Now they could really have a girls night and just enjoy a relaxing night at home. That was Sirenas idea of a fun night anyway! “I'm sure Whinny will be glad to have some company tonight when she gets home from shopping, even if she complains about the programs.” She giggled softly and pushed her hair out of her ponytail, letting her raven black hair free.
< Adelita > Adelita cringed when she heard Sirena slaughter the pronunciation of the word Telenovela. When Sirena called herself white, or ‘too white,’ Adelita laughed, turned and hugged the woman. “Yes. Telenovela. It’s like a drama, but different. Most of them only last a year, or three tops. I’ve never seen one longer than that. It’s like a Spanish soap opera, but it’s always fresh and moving along. They don’t do the same plot for months and months like the American ones do. Es no beuno. Gets boring after a couple months. If you watched it and gave it a shot, you would see it was much better than those drama's the American's have. Even the Canadians.”
Adelita unwrapped herself from the hug she initiated, then headed out the door, holding it open for Sirena after Lita passed through the metal and glass door that had 'Airport Lounge' written on it. “Whinny doesn’t like them?” Adelita asked, having never heard this before. It was possible, now that the woman thought about it because Whinny was always playing on her phone, or getting up to check her university emails. Or just doing anything else than sitting there, watching an entire episode. “Well, maybe we could get a movie on the way home? From that box...the red one by the grocery store we pass?” Lita suggested with a small smile in the woman’s direction as she led the pair of them to the train station, where Lita would pick up a movie from the ‘red box,’ for them and go back home for a much more subdued and quieter night than what had previously been going on.
