< Adelita > “No, no, no, no.” The woman sighed as she rummaged around in the drawers in her wardrobe looking for something specific for tonight. When she snagged the invitation off some poor sap in a club the other night, Adelita knew just what she was going to wear for the big event that was happening tonight. Her eyes roamed over to the invitation that was primarily black, with a single red image in the dead center, and red letters that said “Let’s Celebrate!”
And celebrate she would and the woman had the perfect person in mind to celebrate the night and event with her. Had things been different between her and Elighan, she would have called him up, but he was on her list of people to not only ignore, but avoid. Petty? Maybe. Did he deserve it? The Mexican woman thought so. Besides, Lita knew they would eventually kiss and makeup, minus the kissing part and things would be fine, but for now, since he decided to make her feel like the tiniest person on the planet, she was fine with pretending he didn’t exist. “His loss.” Lita said with a careless shrug of her shoulders as she found the black and pink number she had been searching for and laid it out on the bed.
The woman moved to the wardrobe to find a pair of five inch heels she knew she had somewhere in the bottom of it-it just simply required looking for them. “Whinny-did you borrow my black heels, you punta?” Lita called to the woman that was somewhere in the apartment, who was a little taller than Lita, but happened to wear the same shoe size and in her mind the same size of dress too. Simply because Adelita had things Whinny wanted.
”No. The only pair I have are your boots that go to your shins.” The thrall shouted back from the living room. “Never mind.” Adelita snapped before grabbing one of the heels and then the other from behind a grey pair of suede pumps.
”Why?” The woman was now in the doorway, or even in the room, her voice much louder than it was before.
”Are you going to that? Wait. Are we going to that?” Adelita spun her neck in the direction of her thrall that now possessed the black invitation, her eyes narrowing as she locked eyes on the thrall. “Yes.” Lita’s accent quite clear due to her annoyance, the ‘y’ actually a ‘j’ sound, making the word sound like ‘jhess.’ “Put that down, you hooker.” Adelita growled as she got up on her two feet and stood at her ever impressive five foot one, steely eyes on the dark haired taller woman.
”Whatever. I heard his parties are lame anyways.” The thrall tossed the invitation to the ground before walking away, muttering the word ‘*****,’ under her breath.
If the Mexican woman had more time, she would have had a full out verbal war with her thrall, but luckily for Wynifred, Lita had other things on her mind. The party and a guy who was going to be her plus one for the night. She would not accept no for an answer and hopefully, what she was wearing would sway his decision to her favor. As the dark haired woman was putting her feet in her heels with one hand, her other was typing away to the man on her mind, letting him know she was on her way and had something to drop off for him. With that taken care of, Adelita moved to a chair in the corner of her room, picked up the
black trench coat, secured it around her petite waist and was out the apartment door before Whinny saw her and whined at Adelita in an attempt to get her to take her to the party.
By the time Adelita had arrived at Lumen, she had received two cat calls from people who didn’t get a second glance, a single pick-up line tossed her way along with some hate when she told some guy that her finger would entertain her far longer than the thing he had in his pants. Regardless of the one negative encounter, Adelita looked at it in a positive limelight. She had to look good to get so much attention and that was the point. Her ‘date’ for the night was supposed to have a difficult time rejecting the chance to spend the night with her at the party of the season.
The sensor alarm and camera at the door would alert Blake to her presence within his building and Lita would even pause and wave at the camera before blowing kiss a Blake. It was a signature move that anyone who was a friend, or potentially something more would receive when the woman was in a flirty, playful mood. Usually it was harmless, but sometimes it led to more. It depended on two factors; their interest and hers.
Small fingers reached out to press the button on the main floor, the woman glancing at her dark red painted fingernails as she waited patiently. She had become accustomed to knowing where most, if not all cameras where in Lumen from her time spent here. While she was waiting and looking at her fingernails, the woman yawned and then leaned over to play with the strap around her ankle, making Blake wonder just what Adelita was or was not wearing under that coat of hers. It was a game she played, wondering how long it would take him to notice things she did in her free time while here. So far, the woman hadn’t heard anything about her accidental exposures and such, but she knew one day he would have to come across each event.
The door slid open and Adelita waltzed in, both pointer fingers and thumbs holding the invitation in her hand as it ascended. Her right eye pivoted to the camera and saw the little dot that flashed, indicating it was working. More devious thoughts riffled through the woman’s mind but was suppressed by the door opening to the floor she wanted. With shoulders held back and chin high, Adelita moved to where Blake’s office was, behind some hidden wall that wasn’t all that hidden for her anymore. Lita would rap on the door once before entering quicker than the rap at the door, and would close it behind her, a grin comparable to the cheshire cat upon her lips.
“Cancel all your plans.” Adelita announced as she walked towards his desk, slowly undoing her trench coat to reveal her
outfit or lack of. “Because you and me have a-” A what? Not a date, she didn’t date. Lita did anything but date, so what was this to be called? “Reservation.” There, that was a much better word. Reservation was so open with no expectations. The invitation was placed on his office desk, revealing a red devil accompanied with a pitch fork on it, naming the seven deadly sins in black on various parts of the devil’s body. “Come be naughty with me?” Adelita purred as she let go of the invitation, moved around the desk and inched her way between Blake and his desk. “I’ll give you a guess at which sin I am.” It was so tempting to sit on his lap, but Adelita instead chose to inhabit his desk, crossing one leg over the other as she waited for him to accept her invitation.
<Sirena> “What do you mean, you’re not coming?” Sirena states annoyed as she spoke into her bluetooth headset. Her friend on the other side of the line was supposed to be going to the party with her, but she seemed to have more important things to do besides hang out with her best friend. Of course. Of course she would cancel! After all, this wasn’t the first time. Every day they had scheduled to spend time together something always came up. And that something was that damn boyfriend of hers. “I just don’t have time tonight,” Lory whined back from the other side of the line. “I promise we can do something next week. I’m free on Wednesday. Does that work?”
Sirena was practically stomping down the street as she made her way towards her apartment. She was getting tired of being put off to the side my her best, and only, friend. She wished she could make her understand how upset she was, but Lory would only toss all of Sirena’s sadness over her shoulder. She shook her head as though her friend could see her. “No,” sirena says simply, deciding to lie to her friend. There was no point in making anymore plans with Lory. She would only cancel when Wednesday came around. Silence hung between them on the line for a few seconds before Lory sighed.
“Look, I’m real sorry. I didn’t want to cancel but I had to.” Sirena practically snored with bitter laughter directed at her friend. “I find that hard to believe,” she said coldly. This was the first time she had actually been rude to her friend. Honestly rude, and not just joking around. “Why are you being like this? I said I was sorry.”
“Yes, but you don’t really mean it, do you?” Sirena snapped back at her friend. There was silence from Lory once more. “Well, you have fun tonight. Tell David I said ‘hi’. I have a party to go to.” Lory simply scoffed at Sirena’s behavior from the other side of the line. “You’re not going without me-” “Oh, yes I am,” Sirena interrupted and smirked. “And I’m going to have fun, without you. Goodnight, Lory!” Her voice was sickeningly sweet before she hung up on her friend. She took her headset connected to her phone but took the earpiece out of her ear and stuffed it into her pocket so she wouldn’t be bothered by any calls.
Soon, Sirena arrived at her apartment and quickly jogged up the steps to her door. She dug her keys out of her bag and unlocked the door before stepping inside and tossing her bag and jacket on the couch close by. She paused a moment as she walked by a small shelf that held a small number of trinkets and picture frames, glancing at a group of men standing together in one of the pictures.... She quickly drug her eyes away and stepped into her bedroom, flipping on the lights. She had a plain room with only a bed, dressed and computer desk. No decorations, nothing to personalize her space. She had only just moved into her new apartment and had spent little time unpacking between her classes and work. She could have spent the next few hours unpacking a few boxes, but she felt like she needed a break away from all the stress.
She went to her closet, pulling sleeves to move the hanging fabric to the side, looking for something decent to wear to the party. Of course she hadn’t planned anything out before hand. Why would she? She wouldn’t spend hours trying to decide what to wear, doing makeup or dressing her hair. That just wasn’t in her character at all. She was more of the ‘take me as I am, or get lost’ kind of person.
Once she found something she thought would suit the role she’d be playing tonight she hopped in the shower for a few minutes before dressing. She dressed herself in black leather. The outfit she chose she had bought the year before to wear at a Halloween party. She wasn’t normally the leather kind of person. It was hard to move in sometimes. Once she was dressed she combed and dried her hair to let it hang freely in her face. No makeup, nothing fancy. Well, besides the gloves she slipped on for her part.
After she was dressed, there was no point in waiting at home for much longer. She snatched the invitation off of her desk and walked out of her apartment, leaving her phone at home so she wouldn’t be bothered while she was out having fun. She didn’t see why she shouldn’t have left it- she never had any problems in the past. She didn’t think that she might come to regret her spiteful decision.
She walked to the party, knowing that it wasn’t that far from where she now lived. She could have taken her car, but, like deciding she wouldn’t need it for work, thought it would just be a waste of money and gas. She glanced up and down the streets before making a cross. Her walk was oddly silent, and she missed the company of her friend. She sighed softly to herself, knowing she would have to call and apologize sooner or later. But, then again, her friend should at least try to spend time with her. She rubbed her forehead and tried to distract her thoughts before she started getting angry again.

< Blake > With his preoccupation Blake never even noticed the sensor alarm going off. He could have cared less. He was transfixed on the object in front of him. The struggling and, oddly, still living object that was the center of attention in the center of the room. There had to be an admittance here though, these paladins were tough sons of bitches. Even as Blake sat across the room behind his desk and simply looked at the helpless and naked man he had to wonder just what, if any, information would be able to be collected from his chosen form of entertainment that night. Already a number of tattoos had been removed from the man’s body and certain other extremities removed. Needless to say, this particular paladin would never have a proclivity for playing the guitar...if that was even something he had an interest in.
Flicking one of the severed fingers that sat on the glass top of his desk at the bound and gagged paladin, Blake slowly rose to his feet. If he was going to make any progress he had to do so before this ******** bled out. Making his way to a small table on the opposite side of the room Blake picked up a knife, one that he had actually made himself for just such a purpose. Serrated and as sharp as could be the handle seemed to have an almost Aztec look to it what with the likeness of of the winged serpent god Quetzalcoatl carved into it. It was this knife that Blake tapped against his own bloody chest. Not his blood, of course, but this kind of work tended to get a bit….messy.
“Now, I’m going to ask you one more time…”
Blake paused and knelt down beside the paladin. A quick jerk on the towel stuffed in the paladin’s mouth and the gag came free.
“The Administrator. Bancroft. Helheim. I know you and your kind have information on us. Spill or I swear to whatever god you pray to I will make sure you live long enough to watch me remove every single organ in your body.”
The look on Blakes face would have done enough. More humans had fallen and lost their willpower before that cold and almost demonic grin but, alas, this was a Paladin. One of their Elder’s at that and, just as Blake had hoped, this fool was made of sterner stuff than most of his kind that inhabited the sewers. Unfortunately the same answer spewed forth from the Elder’s mouth that had been coming out all night.
“I-I know nothing! Besides, you can hurt me all you want….you’re the one that’s going to be fucked if I don’t say anything.”
Normally, Blake would have been patient and calculated and would have carried this on for the rest of the night….and possibly the next night as well. Unfortunately, his phone began vibrate and beep. The tell tale signs of someone coming in the front door. Taking a deep breath to calm himself the bloody gag was crammed back into the paladin’s mouth before Blake made his way back to his desk and his phone.
“Well ****….”
It was the only words he could manage before an exasperated sigh escaped him. Adelita seemed giddy and excited to say the least but, with another twist of fate, his fiery and devious new friend was on her way up to his office. With a quick look around at the plastic tarping that hung everywhere, there was a pause as Blake wondered exactly how Adelita would react to the scene she was not too far off from walking in on. Unfortunately, there was one small issue. He couldn’t exactly be leaving his ‘guest’ alive whilst he dealt with ‘Lita. Thankfully a solution to that particular problem was simple and easily dealt with, especially with the proper tool for the job already in hand.
“Sorry pal, looks like I won’t be able to play with you all night like I wanted to….”
And without even a second glance that serrated knife began its journey along the helpless paladin’s throat. Of course the resulting mess was unpleasant but that was what Blake had personal cleaners for….and the tarping. He’d just give them a call, have them pull it all down and burn it and it’d be like nothing ever happened. Looking down at himself and his almost completely crimson chest he had to wonder if he even had time to make an attempt at cleanliness. Deciding against his he remained in the loose fitting black pants he wore (black hid bloodstains fairly well) and with an almost afterthought he threw a sheet over his now deceased guest. Collapsing in his chair just as he heard the knock on the door he sighed. Perfect timing. Not even a second to get comfortable.
“Come….”
In words cut short as ‘Lita simply strolled into his office as if she had already been invited which, he supposed, she had been. Hoping she wouldn’t ask too much about the brightly blue colored room and the streaks of blood here and there he smiled at her as if he were perfectly innocent although, in retrospect, smiling at that precise time probably made him look more like something out of ‘American Psycho’ than any dream fantasy she ever had.
His eyes widened at her outfit as she held out the invitation...which was obviously ignored. Biting his own lip and closing his eyes he gave the slightest of nods.
“I can….guess what sin you are. If my guess is right you’re….doing a very good job at it.”
Moving closer to her and simply looking up at her he gave another soft sigh. He so badly wanted to reach out and simply take hold of her but if she was telling the truth and there was some kind of party tonight that she was dragging him to then he decided it was probably not a good idea to ruin her ‘costume’ as some might call it.
“I think I might need to clean up a bit before we go anywhere. I’m not sure I could get away with calling all of this…”
He motioned to himself casually.
“...fake blood. Though, if we’re on a time crunch you could always come pick out what i’m wearing while I clean up?”
The look that accompanied those words would say enough, especially given the way she was dressed and the way Blake was eyeing her. ‘Help’ could definitely be found in more than one way, especially then.
“Unless you want to poke around out here and have a chance at getting yourself all messy…”
And he left it at that as he rose and began to head towards the communal area at the back of the office. It almost looked like a normal house oddly enough, a communal area with a couch and a nook style kitchen, a bathroom off to one side and what seemed like a bedroom off to the other though unlike any bedroom Blake would stay in, this room only housed a cot, a night stand and a lamp. Good for the light rest but very little else. It wasn’t nearly as extravagant as Veil but it had enough and given how much time he had been spending there it had a majority of Blake’s clothes strewn about the ‘bedroom’.
< Adelita > The Mexican woman was no stranger to men at work, she was after all, or had been, a cartel heiress and so, when Lita had made her grand entrance into his office, she simply tuned out what he had been doing, or pretended not to see it. Really, the only thing that had her focus was the man behind the desk and not the one under the sheet. He was dead, who cared?
Until Blake offered for Adelita to stay here and get messy, only then did her eyes drift away from the male to take note of the blue tarps, the blood and the man under the sheet. Clearly, the guy had it coming to him because the man Adelita knew wouldn’t do something like this without a good reason, so the woman hopped off the desk and stood next to it, after collecting the invitation in her hand. “Someone was naughty.” That someone wasn’t yet defined, but would be in her next sentence. “You started having a party without me.” Adelita moved away from the desk, to the person that was under the sheet and grasped it very, very carefully. What she saw underneath was not something she had seen in well over a year and so the woman made a small face and let the sheet drop again. “Bad day at the office? I knew you would need a little something, something to end it on a high note.” Adelita’s eyes bounced back to Blake and took his entire appearance in. She tsk’d and shook her head, because he was right. He wouldn’t be able to wear what he was wearing now and pass it off as believable.
But she couldn’t be too disappointed for too long. Not at the offer to dress Blake. Instantly, Adelita went to the mindset of the male not wearing any clothes, but if that wasn’t legal in Mexico, the woman doubted it would be legal in Canada. And Blake was a person who didn’t like to do bad things in public that drew negative attention to himself, while Adelita was a little more...riskier. And not only that, but Adelita knew deep down that if she suggested he wore nothing that they wouldn’t be making the party. Decisions, decisions. They could go to the party and then have their own little party here, minus the dead guy in his office. This wasn’t the only room in Lumen, shame it couldn’t get used later, but Adelita could adapt. It wasn’t as if the room was going to be going anywhere.
As the Mexican woman was lost in her own thoughts, Blake had already started making his way out of the room and to some side room where Lita was left with a decision. Follow or stay? Behave or misbehave? It was then Adelita realized she should probably have been two sins that night, the most obvious and one she currently was; Lust, and the other Greed. Lita could have spurts of greediness, especially in regards to the male that was walking away from her, baiting her with the choice to misbehave or behave and if anyone knew Adelita, she tended to opt for the ‘wrong’ choice and indulge in it often.
And just like that the woman was rubbing her two fingers together, as if rubbing them would make the tiny droplet of blood on the tip of the pointer finger disappear into thin air; and was following after Blake. She couldn’t very well pass up the opportunity to help Blake out. Not after all the help he has given her these past few weeks.
Much of the decor, or lack of was ignored by Adelita, her main focus was finding the bedroom. That would be where Blake’s clothes would be. He would lead her there, the Mexican woman knew it-she just had to be patient. An exceedingly difficult task when by the other vampire.
Most people would view his room in a negative limelight, what with the clothes being thrown around, but not her. To Adelita, it indicated two things. Blake made the effort to take time on his appearance when going somewhere; he wanted to portray a certain image with each encounter of whatever individual he met up with, and it spoke of Blake’s brilliance. She had read in an article once that some of the most smartest known individuals were some of the sloppiest. It was like they had so many ideas, so much going on in those brilliant brains of theirs that cleaning was at the bottom of their priorities.
Each hand went for a heel before entering the room, eyes on Blake as he moved around it and then entered after him. He had invited her in, and if he hadn't actually meant it, Blake was now aware that if he extended any form of an offer that Lita would snatch it up in a heartbeat. “I'll lay a few outfits out while you shower.” It appeared Adelita was going to behave for now, but she wasn't. Not by a long shot.
The Mexican woman placed her heels on his bed and moved to where Blake was standing. “After the party,” Tiny fingers found the loops of Blake’s pants as the woman pressed her petite frame to his, “I will help you with anything your heart desires.” An indecent hand would grope the male ever so quickly before the other let go of the loop it had possessed, so Lita could begin her search. Was it a wicked thing to do? Perhaps, but Lita was the epitome of lust tonight, so Blake should expect the woman to do anything and everything, in her mind. Even if it was to grab at him every chance Lita got.
By the time he returned, Adelita would have some outfits laid upon the tiny bed. One of Blake’s power suits for the obvious sin of greed. Some black pants with a red button down shirt for wrath, a pair of lone boxers to match her in the sin of lust, and finally a pair of slippers and bathrobe for the sloth. “I'm partial to lust, but I left you some other choices, handsome.” Lita winked before extending a hand to the outfits, then moved to the nightstand, where she pushed the lamp aside to perch upon the stand, waiting to see which he would choose.

<Sirena> As Sirena approached the club she pulled her invitation out of her back pocket and marched up to the door. She handed the invitation over to the bulky male standing near the door and he took it, glancing down at the piece of paper for a moment before nodding.
“Can I see some ID?” he asked and held out his hand expectantly.
With a sigh, hardly able to believe she was being carded at the door and not at the bar, she pulled out her ID and showed it to the man for one… two… three seconds before pulling her arm back and stuffing her ID back into her pocket. With a simple nod, the man let her pass by and she stepped into the night club. There were plenty of people already there, dancing, drinking, flirting- around the room she could see groups of friends all laughing and having a good time as they watched the others in the crowd. She frowned, thinking of Lory. Most people’s costumes were a bit over done for her taste, as if they had been planning all year for this party. She could only shake her head and laugh at her fellow ‘sins’.
She made her way straight to the bar. No sense and sitting around and moping now that she was here. Maybe she would be lucky enough to make some new friends since she didn’t have any that would want to spend time with her. She shook her head at her bitter thoughts and huffed, taking a seat on one of the high stools. She crossed her arms over the counter and listened to the music as she stared down at the black counter tops.
Maybe I’ll dance with a few strangers and screw around tonight… or maybe I’ll just have a few drinks and go home, she thinks to herself. There was really no point in her coming anyway besides deciding to spite her friend for now wanting to come. “What’ll it be?” the bartender asked as he set his hand on the countertop, a rag clutched in his right hand. Sirena gave a weak smile and thought for a moment. “Coke and Rum,” she says and shrugs when she receives a strange look from the bartender. She never really was much of a drinker, hence her choice of drink, but she felt like she might need one to relax a bit tonight.
Across the room there was a little trouble rising. She turned to look at a couple who had begun yelling at each other and she sily watched. Most the people there just watched with discomfort, which Sirena watched intently. She wanted to see what they would do. Would they sit back down in their seats and ignore each other for most of the night, or would this get messy? the woman slapped the man, but before he could do anything the woman quickly fled to the bathroom and Sirena cleared her throat, laughing a bit bitterly. “That won’t settle right while they’re alone,” she laughed.
She passed a glance back to the clock on the wall, then to the dance floor. She didn’t feel like dancing and even though she had thought of it earlier, she wasn’t going to go home with one random guy and she certainly wasn’t going to take them back to her apartment. She could try talking to people, but that would quickly become an awkward situation f she just jumped in and introduced herself while they were talking.
When she was given her drink she took it and simply stared down at it for a while. She stirred it about for a few minutes before finally taking a sip from the glass. She noticed a few guys staring at her from the other side of the bar and when they cat-called her she turned around in her seat so her back was too them. There was laughter behind her and she rolled her eyes. They were probably too drunk to even hold a conversation so there was no point in even teasing them.
Sirena stared at the door, deciding to watch the people that came in. She would decide who had the better costume. She was meant to be pride, but no one would guess that. She chose pride because of her attitude, and she figured that would be her role for the rest of the night. She laughed at herself. Now she just need six more sins to play the parts with her and they could cause havoc all over town. An that would be an interesting night indeed.
< Blake > Letting the comment about the ‘party’ he had started without her slide he gave the slightest of grins at the thought of Adelita choosing his wardrobe for the night. He was quite sure that, if she had her way at least, he’d wind up going naked. While normally this wouldn’t bother him it did require a bit of tact and a bit of preplanning. After all, who knew who was going to be at a party like this? It was sure to attract a fair amount of attention especially if it meant a chance for the rich and beautiful to flaunt their money and looks for all to see. Regardless, without proper planning Blake wouldn’t risk it. There had been enough bloodshed for one night, he didn’t really enjoy the thought of having to kill yet another individual in order to keep a secret even if it wasn’t the first time he had had to do so.
“I have no doubt that by the time this night is over…”
He smirked and held Adelita’s hand after she had released him from her ‘grip’.
“We’re both going to find everything we want.”
And with those simple words he turned and retreated to the shower to clean the blood, gore and viscera from himself. It would feel wonderful to finally be clean again. Not one to shirk his duties when it came to the occasional need for bloodshed Blake was still a man of ‘higher’ standards. Mostly those he kept himself to. He had long ago relieved himself of holding others to higher standards, hell, he’d stopped holding most people to any standards whatsoever. It lead to a more interesting life, a more...exciting life. Especially when it came to ‘Lita. He didn’t plan anything when it came to that saucy vixen and now, with no planning and no expectations, things couldn’t have been better. With that thought in mind he started the water for his shower with the largest smile he had worn in a long time on his face.
It didn’t take more than a dozen or so minutes before Blake returned from the shower he had desperately needed and, knowing he would change, he had opted to ignore any form of clothing save for a single towel wrapped around his waist. Grinning as he let his eyes fall upon Adelita, he listened to the options she had given him for outfits. The first, obviously, was too plain. It was his usual day to day dress and something he would simply pass on simply because it just wasn’t
fun.The black and red outfit on the other hand….now that held promise. It was definitely right up his alley and it was one he was leaning heavily towards until he started to contemplate the idea and possibilities if he were to go with the last outfit.
Again, being one to always choose the more exciting road as of late, Blake stripped off the towel without a second look to ‘Lita as if she weren’t even there. Though, for some reason, it seemed to take Blake a fair bit longer than normal to get those boxers on, making sure everything was perfect. Finally lifting his eyes he looked to the woman perched on the nightstand.
“I suppose I’m going to need a jacket of my own now?”
< Adelita > Her eyes had only been off Blake for two or three seconds as she explained the choices that laid out on the bed, before returning her glance to his very naked torso. And what a delectable looking torso it was. The Mexican woman could imagine fingers pressing into it and leaving scratches on the top layers of skin there as the male talked.
The back teeth on the right side of Adelita's jaw pressed down on the inside of her cheek as she scolded herself to behave as the towel dropped and revealed Blake in all his glory. It truly was glorious, and Adelita almost jumped off the nightstand and jumped on him. Instead, she bit her cheek so hard that the taste of her own blood filled her mouth. There was an entire night to be sinfully wicked.
“Que?” Adelita asked, her eyes not leaving the one thing she honed in on, before closing her eyes and thinking about what she had heard. Something about a jacket.
Think, Lita, think. Jacket, cold, winter. He was asking about a jacket. “I suppose for on the way there.”
Pity. Lita sighed and pushed off the nightstand to stand in front of the male, a slightly devious smile painted on her red lips. “Or, we can think of other ways to keep you warm on the way there. For pretenses and such.” There was a small lift of her right shoulder as Adelita squeezed closer into his space, an arm draping around his shoulder. “But, if you have a trench coat,” somehow Adelita doubted it, but Blake had a tendency of surprising her; he had been standing there naked just a couple seconds ago when she expected him to disappear back in the bathroom with his choice for the night, “You could wear that and flash me all the way there.” Lita laughed at the idea of Blake more or less being a 'peeping tom,' but she actually looked forward to the possibilities. “We can lose our coats and whatever else at the party.” The Mexican woman concluded before regrettably inching away from Blake as the tip of her tongue dragged across the tiny wound in her cheek. “I don't think I have ever had sex in the bathroom of a nightclub.” She winked to Blake before exiting the bedroom, and the small apartment that was connected to his office.
“Meet you downstairs in five, handsome.” Adelita called over her shoulders as she left the bloody mess that was once an office that got her hot and bothered at least six days out of the week when thinking of Blake sitting behind the desk in that very high back chair, that Adelita could see herself getting a lot of use out of in the near future. At least, she was ever hopeful in that regards.
To keep the male motivated and on time, Adelita reached into the left pocket of her black coat and pulled out her cell phone and pulled down the top of her lingerie outfit and took a picture. While the elevator descended to the main floor, Adelita attached a tiny message that read, 'If it's cold, they're cold. Come keep them warm.' When the doors pulled open, the woman walked out, hit send and exited the building, intentionally setting the sensor alarm off twice, to let him know she, or parts of her would be getting chilly very soon.
Meanwhile, downtown, the party goers would find multiple spaces in the large club, decorated according to each sin as they the depths of the club's main and second floor.
- Bathrooms-wrath: Just outside the bathroom door was a small, circular table with red and tan colored tortilla chips and spicy salsa in a bowl. Upon entering the bathroom, the first thing anyone would notice were posters of various and well known serial killers from across the world, lined the walls and stall doors, the corners rounded in fake blood. A plastic hand next to a pretend butcher knife rested on the back of one of the four the toilets. The mirrors above each sink had bloody hand-prints smeared across it and even some drops of fake dried blood on the sink's below. Each step on the ground would provide a blood outline of footprints as club goes
2nd Floor VIP Room-lust: All light bulbs have been replaced with red ones, creating a vibrant backdrop to the various playboy and playgirl posters that hung in random places in the room. Blow up dolls sat in chairs or stood propped against the walls, moved around from party goers for laughs and giggles and re positioned in lewd positions. Candy genitalia were in dishes all over the room on multiple surfaces, next to stacks of playboy and playgirl magazines.
Gluttony: On a large plastic table by the entrance, lay various cheap, synthetic cakes, biscuits, chocolates, donuts and candies, on small and large cake tiers. The table near an over-sized window to the right is lined with a fabric dressed in foods from candy to fruits and everything between, with real food for the taking; Chips, soda, cakes, cupcakes, and over sized lollies.
Main Second floor-Greed: Pictures and posters of famous people who were known to have large amounts of money were displaced, next to extra large, high rolling toonies that could be peeled off the walls with little to no problems. Each solid table surface had gold coins any child could find in an Easter basket, and quotes from famous movies where people got rich were hung from the ceiling.
The four corners on the main floor-Sloth: Bean bags, duvets, sofas, inflatable beds, and comfy armchairs line the space in these areas. Tray tables are next to each bed or chair filled with drinks and snacks so people don't have to get up for anything.
Dance Floor-Envy: Streamers, balloons and strobe lights the color of money claimed the dance floor. Cut-outs of famous people; people that were envied for their fame and fortunes, such as singers to actors and actresses hugged the sides of the floor.
Bar-Pride: The long bar held a variety a single vanity mirror as the main centerpiece. Scattered around the large mirror were lots of anti-aging face creams, bottles of moisturizers, and boxes of Rogaine, and lipsticks for the taking.

<Sirena> More and more people started spilling into the club. Soon, Sirena thought there couldn’t possibly be anyone else coming to the party. The building was full enough already. she spun back around in her seat when she noticed the rude drunks had left and she stared at another pride who sat across the bar- a man dressed in black with his hair combed back. A woman sat beside him, flirting with him. The two of them whispered sweet nothings to each other and Sirena had to bow her head and cover her eyes in shame for ‘peeking’ at their moment. Of course it made her shy when she realized she was staring at couples. What if they got the wrong idea. Oh yeah, you’re creepy, she thinks to herself and she sighs.
Sirena straightened in her seat and finished her drink, then asked for another. She didn’t plan on leaving just yet. Things might decide to get interesting as soon as she left. Time passed on… She was starting to get bored. She glanced back at the couple who were still whispering to each other quietly, and as the male leaned in to speak to the girl Sirena finched when she noticed what looked like fangs. That had to be some sort of joke- she knew she had seen them. Little did she know, the Pide sitting across the bar wasn’t the only vampire in the room. She wrote it off. Maybe it was a part of his costume, or maybe she imagined it. She tried to make up excuses in her head, but still… she was curious.
Trying not to look so obvious, sirena turned her face away from the couple once more, but glanced at them every few seconds, waiting to see the fangs again. Maybe she had been drinking too much. Maybe she should go home before she starts freaking out and making a scene. The woman rises from her seat and tell the male something before walking away, and suddenly Sirena noticed his eyes were on her. Damn. He had noticed her staring! Their eyes locked for a moment and his eye narrowed at her slightly. Whatever doubts she had before were quickly dashed when he began to glare at her. She shifted in her seat, wanting to turn around again, but she was afraid of what might happen if she did.
Soon the bartender brought her the glass of rum and coke and she took it quickly, looking down at the ice in the glass and pretending that she didn’t see him glaring at her. Still, his eyes didn’t move away from her until his date returned to the bar and he quickly snapped back into his playful attitude. Sirena saw the man’s fangs again and she rubbed the back of her neck. Soon she noticed another pair of eyes on her. And another. Why were they staring at her? She couldn’t figure out what it was. She cleared her throat and quickly got out of her seat, rushing to the bathroom, leaving her wallet and drink behind on the counter in her hurry.
Sirena shoved the door open, almost hitting the woman she had seen fighting with her boyfriend on the other side. She frowned and quickly apologized, watching the woman leave the bathroom. The stalls freaked her out a bit- the fake blood sent chills up her spine after what she had just seen. She was alone in the bathroom, so she walked over to the sink and splashed some water in her face.
“You just had a little too much to drink,” she muttered to herself. She didn’t believe her own words. It took more than one drink to even get her tipsy. She would need at least three considering the only alcohol was watered down by coke. She stayed in the bathroom for a while before walking back out. She decided to leave, but when she went back to get her wallet she saw it was gone. Her eyes narrowed as she looked across the bar, seeing the Pride she had locked eyes with and his date were both gone. She asked the bartender if he saw anyone take it, but he simply shook his head.
< Blake > Listening to those honeyed words Blake let his own arm snake around ‘Lita’s waist, his hand holding her firm against him as he stared into her eyes with devious intent. A look alone that held promises of everything to come later that night. Between the two of them he had a feeling there would be...quite a bit of cleaning to be done in the morning.
“Well, I don’t know about a bathroom but I am sure we could find something new for you to try.”
That grin remaining as he gave her a grope of his own on her way out of the room. She would most certainly be the death of him one night but oh would it be a glorious death. Of all the divine and glorious ways he could think of to die, Adelita’s way would by far be the best he could think of.
With a shake of his head and a soft sigh he continued to get himself ready for the evening. Nothing too decadent of course. Though first and foremost he made sure that his mind was properly connected to his phone, especially if he was going to have no where to keep it on his person. Adding a bit of aromatics to himself he dug out his old duster jacket and shrugged. It would work even if it did look a little like it came out of some punk 90’s vampire movie. Hey, when a vampire is young they tend to want to make a statement just like human teenagers….oh god the analogy. Young vampires equivalent to teenagers just left such a horrible taste in his mouth he actually swore something had flown into his mouth or some other grotesque thing.
Feeling that slight tickle behind his left ear Blake focused on his phone. Huh, a text message. Ah. ‘Lita. Probably telling him to hurry up. Opening the message he grinned and chuckled to himself. She was indeed rushing him along in not so many words. Smirking as he threw the coat over his shoulders and fastened it shut he fully focused on a bit of revenge as he left the office and rode the elevator down. Ever since he had learned how to send both words and images in his mind no one had been safe and now, poor Adelita was the target of this particular gift. Images of the two of them in a myriad of different compromising situations would flood her mind. Nothing lewd or even naughty but simply...suggestive.
“Two can play at that game, my dear.”
Words spoken to no one at all as his mind shifted gears. A message sent to one of the vampiric cleaning companies that could be hired around town. The address and state of the office described in keen detail as Blake exited the elevator. Now, hopefully, the place would be cleaned by the time he and Adelita returned home. Business finally concluded he stepped up behind his companion for the night and whispered softly against her neck.
“And now you have me all to yourself…all night long.”
Whispered words that held such promise as he wrapped an arm around her.

< Adelita > Fingers reached out to hold the wall of the building as images of her and Blake entered her mind. A pleasurable chill of excitement ran up the length of her body as she relished in the lewd and dirty imagery between the duo. She tsk'd and then whimpered, mildly annoyed with herself. They could have probably taken a few minutes to have their own little party.
His words made her laugh lightly, as she guided the hand that was wrapped around her to the parts of her that he got to see a couple seconds ago via text. “Downtown.” She said, having forgotten about the actually getting there part. Adelita had been so focused on getting Blake to agree to come out with her that everything else just fell by the wayside. “Aaaand.” She said turning around so that she could face him. “We could take the train, call a cab, or you can give me the ride of my life there.” With that, Adelita jumped up into the air and wrapped her legs around Blake in a somewhat compromising position, had there been no clothes between the two of them. “Which would you prefer? I know my choice, but the party ends when bar closes...so...” Lita looked up at Blake with heavy eyelids as her fingers massaged at the base of his neck. “Ever do anything in a cab before?” Two birds, one stone. Best of both worlds in the Mexican woman's mind.
A hand wormed its way down from his neck and slapped the general proximity of his butt before Lita hopped off him and linked their hands together. “Let's get a cab.” Without further hesitation, Adelita found her way to the curb, put a scantily clad leg out, her free hand in the air and waited for someone to stop.
When they did, she would let Blake get in first and then crawl into his lap, facing him. Before she did anything else, Adelita would show the driver the address on the invitation by pressing it against the plastic window and then once again give Blake her complete attention. A finger went to her lips, barely hiding the coy smirk on her face before she spoke very quietly. “Thank you for coming with me.” Adelita appreciated it, even if she didn't have to twist his arm too much, and wanted the male to know how appreciative she was before she found her way between his legs to show that appreciation.
---
The club was just as she remembered it from last weekend when the woman procured the invitation from the guy that could barely remember his name, let alone hers. The only exception was the long queue of people dressed in various costumes, and the extra bouncers at the door. Hopefully, the party was in fact the party of the year as she heard, and not some major disappointment. Only one way to find out, and that was to go in. “Come on good-looking.” Lita looked down at the invitation to make sure this was the place and it was the right day and time, but everything seemed to be right.
With the invitation extended out to the first bouncer that caught her eye, Lita wrapped a hand around Blake's arm and gave it a squeeze. “This delicious morsel is my plus one.” The invitation was returned back to her and a nudge of the bouncer’s head told them they could go right on it.
And the woman was pleasantly surprised at what she saw once they were inside. “I need a drink” Lita didn't actually need a drink, but getting one would certainly not make her stand out. Who went to a party, THE party of the year and didn't have a drink? Losers, that's who and she and Blake were not losers. “We need a drink.” She corrected herself, not positive if he could or couldn't drink, but he would have to get one anyways. “Unless you want to check something else out first?” Her attention moved to him as Lita shrugged out of her coat and handed it to the coat checker.
<Sirena> Turning to look around the room, Sirena’s eyes searched for anyone who had been close by when she had left and fled before she could return. How stupid could she be? Leaving her wallet at the bar certainly wasn’t a wise choice. She sighed in frustration and finally her eyes locked with the second Pride who stood across the room. He was holding her wallet in his hand so that she could see it clearly. His dark gaze dared her to approach him, and that was an invitation she would not accept. Fear became evident in her eyes when she noticed the others standing with him were staring at her as well. How many of them weren’t human?
She couldn’t bring herself to take eve one step. She sat back down at the bar and kept her back to the monster across the room. Hopefully they would get bored with her and just leave. She didn’t care about her wallet or the money inside it… maybe the fact that she still hasn’t paid for her drinks yet, but that wasn’t enough to make her approach the other Pride. She chewed on the inside of her cheek, soon making it bleed.
she sat there until the ice in her glass completely melted, then she turned to look at the group again. He was still watching. She felt a knot twisting itself in her stomach. why won’t you just leave? she thinks. She rushed a frustrated hand through her hair and slouched at the counter. Her phone was at home so she couldn’t call a cab to pick her up. She couldn’t call for someone to come pick her up, and she couldn’t catch a cab because she didn’t have her money. If she walked home then he might follow. Sirena tapped her foot as she crossed her arm on the counter again. Either way she would have to confront him.
Confronting him in the club seemed like the wiser choice. He wouldn’t do anything to her while there were other people around… and he wasn’t close to the door at all so he must not have planned on walking out. She bit her lip at she thought to herself. Well, you know what you have to do. Stand up! she told herself. Slowly, she stood and walked across the room to the Pride that held her wallet in his hand. He smiled at her, seeming pleased. No words were exchanged between them until after he had allowed her to take her wallet back.
“You shouldn’t go to parties alone, miss Valgori,” he says smugly. Sirena’s eyes narrowed at him. Of course, he must have gone through her wallet and looked at her ID to know her name. He could have even taken some money as well but she didn’t care. “Something could happen,” he continued.
“Is that a threat?” she hissed at him bitterly, tipping her chin up and refusing to show her fear after all the cowering she had done at the bar.
The Pride simply smiled and walked by her. Her eyes followed him and she turned to watched him leave. He didn’t have his date with him anymore. She wondered if she was a vampire to or if she was just his dinner. She was gone now- could that mean she was dead? Sirena let out a shaky breath and walked back to the counter, chugging down the rest of her drink.
“I see you found your wallet,” the bartender says, smiling at her. “Good for you.” Sirena laughed a bit bitterly as the bartender walked away to serve another customer. “Oh, yes. Good for me.”

< Blake > After one hell of an interesting taxi ride Blake knew for sure that tonight would be far more interesting than he had otherwise planned. He thought back to the poor ******** that had been his plans for the evening and then looked at Adelita as they made their way inside. Yeah, he definitely knew which one he would have rather chosen to spend the evening with. There wasn’t a doubt in his mind at that point.
Handing his own jacket over at the coat check he found his eyes once again glued to Adelita as if she were simply the prey to his predator. Of all the outfits she could have worn that night to drive him insane she had to chose that one. It was...perfect in all the right places and now with the eyes of so many others on her, and him, he couldn’t help but grin for Blake, if anything else, was generous and kind...to a point and given the theme of the party was just as ready as Adelita to indulge in all of those things society would usually frown on them for indulging in. It was almost like heaven for vampires, if there were any such thing.
Lowering his head so ‘Lita would be able to hear him over the sounds and music of the party he spoke slowly so she wouldn’t miss a word.
“Drinks, yes….why don’t we? It’s a little warm in here if you ask me.”
Placing a hand on her hip, a hand that slowly moved south, he almost escorted her to the bar. He didn’t mind the looks she got and the whispered comments that her outfit attracted but lord help the poor ******** that even though to touch her in a way Blake didn’t approve of. It wasn’t so much that they would lose a hand it was more along the lines of Blake was VERY good at remembering faces and, well, an angry Blake wasn’t exactly something you wanted creeping into your house in the wee hours of the morning.
< Adelita > Adelita normally didn't mind being stared at, in fact, the Hispanic woman usually reveled in the attention, but tonight, she was finding Blake's attention more than enough, so most, if not all eyes went amiss and the comments landed on deaf ears.
“If you're warm, I wouldn't mind if you lost a layer or-just flat out take off your boxers.” Adelita's invitation dropped quietly from her lips, as her shoulders raised and lifted into a shrug, caressing his bare chest briefly as the duo proceeded to the bar.
Brown hues landed on the mirror that was dead center on the bar, and Lita did her best to move them far, far away from that. She had no idea what Blake might look like in a mirror, but she knew what she looked like and it was not anything anyone should see-most of all the eye candy cozied up to her.
The fingers on her left hand wrapped around the edge of the bar, as her right hand moved to grab the drink listing for the party. There was your list of typical drinks you could get any day of the week at any bar, and on the reverse side was the specialty drinks themed after each sin. Greed was a simple shot of Goldschlager. Gluttony was some sort of cocktail that sounded more like a dessert than a drink, a chocolate and chili cocktail epitomized the sin wrath, a passion fruit margarita for those indulging in the lustful sides of their nature, a grape punch flavored drink for the prideful, and beer, the color of lime for the envious. “It looks like they were too lazy to try and figure a drink for the lazy.” Adelita laughed softly before debating between the green beer and the margarita. The margarita won, because she doubted the beer was anything from Mexico, and was cheap at best, before she slid her way onto a seat.
<Sirena> Nervously, Sirena tapped her index finger on the counter and glared into the mirror sitting behind the bartending counter. The vampires still stood close behind, watching her intently and she wondered if he would ever leave. She was worried about the other people in the club now, she only worried about what might happen if she were alone. Did he plan on killing her? If so, why didn’t he just wait until she left to follow her home? This had to be some sort of mind game he was playing. She felt he wanted her to be consumed by her thoughts in this way so that she would only distract herself. Sadly enough, if that was his plan, it was working.
Chewing on the inside of her cheek and swallowing down any blood that came from the cut she rose and turned to face the vampire again, but when she did he was gone. She had seen him in the mirror, just a moment before! Where had he gone? She blinked and looked around the room. He was nowhere to be seen. Great. She opened her wallet and pulled out some change, deciding to take a moment to call someone to come get her. Maybe Lory would take the time to pick her up and drop her off if she told her what happened. Or maybe she would think she had just been drinking too much.
Sirena walked to the back of the club, near the entrance where there were small spaces for payphones inside. She bumped into a few people but didn’t bother apologizing or even looking at any of the people she rushed by. She dialed in her friend’s number once there and listened to the phone ring. It went to voicemail. She rushed a hand through her hair and tried again. Lory still didn’t pick up. The third time her friend didn’t pick up she decided to leave a voicemail. Maybe if Lory decided to listen to the voicemail she would come pick her up.
“Hey… Lory,” she started with a side, leaning her arm against the wall over the small phone booth and pressing her forehead into her arm. She tried to shield her voice as much as she could. “It’s Sirena. I’m sorry about earlier… and I know you’re probably busy right now but I really need you to come get me. I don’t have my car… and I’m afraid to walk home alone. I’ve been seeing some weird stuff.” She paused a moment and bit her lip. “I’ll… call back in about twenty minutes. If you get my voicemail by then, please pick up,” she begged and hung up the phone without say anymore.
< Blake >”You never know, I just might if you keep it up.”
A wicked grin as he quickly noted the mirror and moved by it, his eyes catching the sight of a leather clad woman rushing towards where he and ‘Lita had just come from. Apparently someone had had too much to drink. Laughing it off he looked around and immediately found the source of the leather clad woman’s discomfort. It appeared as if Blake and his companion were not the only vampires in attendance tonight, apparently the party of the year was now playing host to a few of the rogues from around the city. Amusing. Taking a brief moment to stare into the eyes of each and every one of them Blake tapped into that special part of his mind that allowed him to ascertain the strengths and weaknesses of others. Just as he had thought.
A brief chuckle as he winked at the one that seemed to be the leader of the group.
“Lita, my darling, it seems as if your party has become the feeding grounds for a group of rogues. People like us but without any….rules. I just thought you should be aware.”
Glancing back over his shoulder Blake sent a simple message of warning into the mind of this pack’s leader. A simple declaration of superiority...along with a few name drops here and there. It wasn’t long until the already pale individual turned even more pale and went wide eyed. Apparently the names rung a bell to him. Good. Notoriety was something Blake had worked hard to build up.
“When we leave, be careful. There may be….issues of a supernatural nature. If you catch my drift?”
He looked down at her and wrapped an arm around her, those words whispered softly in her ear so that the chance of anyone overhearing them was at a minimum. He really didn’t need to be accused of breaking the Masquerade himself, especially here among all these humans. Looking up away from ‘Lita, Blake finally addressed the bartender.
“I’ll take one of those wrath drinks, if you don’t mind?”

< Adelita > Adelita listened to what Blake had to say and waited until their drinks had been made and set in front of them. Only then did she acknowledge anything he said by whispering gently against his cheekbone. “I doubt there is anyone in this place that is more...naughtier than I am.” Her lips found Blake's ear before she nipped at it. She sighed, grabbed her drink and turned to face him, giving him her complete attention. It was evident that fun time was over, given the drink he ordered and the caution he expressed, but couldn't she technically be considered a rogue? Wasn't that a vampire without any allegiance to a bloodline, that adhered to any Bloodline rules? She would have to ask later when the time was more apt.
With her legs still wrapped around him, her tiny figure leaned into Blake. Lita's chin rested on his shoulder, so Lita could see what she had missed and he had seen. In truth, Adelita saw nothing out of the ordinary. People seemed to be having a good time, people seemed to be looking for something...but that something could be a lot of things. It could be the very same thing she was looking for. Or drugs, a friend that relocated to another part of the club, or just someone to dance with.
“Well, it is a good thing you decided to come after all. If something unscrupulous was to happen, I want it to be with you.” An obvious double, or hidden meaning to that sentence, that had nothing to do with the rogues and the danger that might present itself. Lita wasn't at all concerned with the rogue vampires, mostly because she couldn't spot a single vampire in the crowd, other than the one she was with. Adelita spent most her free time among the living, because she could pull off the being alive look. A curse, or a blessing, depending on the day of the week for the woman.
With legs and arms still wrapped around Blake, Adelita spoke once again. “So, what to do? Should we slip away before the party gets too heated? Or stay and be the last to leave, when they all have been long gone? I have to admit, I'm a little more partial to the fi-” Adelita's eyes focused on two women that seemed to be fighting over some guy, that to her, wasn't worth fighting over. A pretty typical scene at a club, but what wasn't so typical was that the screaming of various names at each woman now turned into one woman just flat out screaming about her skin burning, while the other woman just stood there, as if nothing were going on in front of her eyes. Slowly, everyone that surrounded them started to stop their activities and look in both women's direction. “Maybe we should take the party somewhere else...” Her legs slowly untangled from Blake, followed by her arms, so that the drink in her left hand found its place back on the bar. Once the drink was on the bar, Lita once again wrapped her appendages around Blake’s body, waiting to see if they were leaving, or staying.
<Sirena> For the next twenty minutes, Sirena lingered near the phone, waiting for the time that she promised to call her friend before she attempted to walk home on her own. She dialed the number for the last time and the second the voicemail played the recorded voice of her friend she slammed the phone down to hang it up. Annoyed, frustrated, scared- Sirena only felt negative emotions. She listened as a fight soon erupted somewhere in the club and she hesitated a moment before walking back around the corner so the three individuals were in view. She eyed them for a few seconds and simply shook her head. She was willing to bet that one of them was a vampire as well. Maybe half the people in the club were.
She couldn’t resist a bitter laugh when she heard one of the girls beginning to panic while her skin was being burned. “No doubt it’s one of them doing it,” she said to herself. She wondered if one of them had any special powers like the vampires that were depicted in Hollywood films. If there was a such thing as vampire then there had to be some twist to their being, right? She wondered what sort of powers the vampire Pride had. What powers could she have? Sirena flinched at her own thoughts and quickly disregarded them.
While there was a distraction in the club it would be smart to leave. Maybe anyone who had been watching her earlier would be too caught up in that mess to pay any attention to her. Before she could leave, her eyes landed on Blake and ‘Lita in the mirror across the bar. She had seen them come in, and had rushed right past them. But she hadn’t looked at their eyes then. She stared at them in the mirror for a few seconds and felt her heart jump up in her throat when ‘Lita stood. Had they noticed her?
Sirena turned quickly and forced herself to take slow steps so she wouldn’t be noticed too easily as she left the club. It was time to go home and never return to that damn monster club again. She pushed the door open, surprised by how cold it had grown outside. Time to go home… she thought as she glanced around.

< Blake > Slipping on to one of the barstools with Adelita still wrapped around him, his drink lay ignored as a hand found its way to the small of her back. Pulling her tight against him he sighed happily at the feeling of her so perfectly against him. In that one instant he had forgotten everything that they had just talked about. Danger? What? Blake existed in a world all his own at that moment as he stared up at Adelita with a mischievous smile on his face. The slightest shift of his hand had her shifting oh so provocatively in his lap
“Oh something unscrupulous is going to happen, I promise you that.”
The slightest and darkest of laughs escaping him as he looked around. His eyes zeroing in on the leather clad woman that had rushed by them earlier and seemed to be….waiting for something. Just as the woman seemed about to leave he glanced up at Adelita and then back to the woman before a soft and gentle thought would enter Sirena’s mind.
Stay. You don’t want to miss out do you?”
The thought he directed into her mind was made to seem like more of a suggestion and as if it had come from her own mind rather than some other mental intruder. He did, after all, need to uphold the rules even if he was in a place where very few others would do the same. Shifting ever so slightly and moving Adelita against him once more, his hand drifted lower and toyed ever so slightly with the bottom hem of her outfit.
“Care for some more company, my dear? We are at a party, why don’t we do a bit of mingling?”
At the word ‘mingling’ a brief image of the leather clad woman would slip into Adelita’s mind.
“Seems like she could use a bit of help relaxing. Poor girl seems strung out like no other.”
< Adelita > With her in his lap, Adelita concluded that Blake was adamant on staying at the party. Fine by her, Lita could leave or stay-neither choice would prohibit her from getting what she wanted, which was her wrapped around Blake in all sorts of ways. Here, at Lumen, her apartment, his, a cab, a train-wherever in reality was fine with Lita, as long as the end result was the same.
His comment about unscrupulous activities brought a laugh from the hollow of her throat before the laugh dwindled and was replaced with a silky moan before her hand linked briefly linked with his to find just the right spot, coaxing him to continue their scandalous behavior right there at the bar. The casual mention of company, followed by the fleeting image of a woman in leather, the very woman that had locked eyes with Adelita seconds ago, shifted her complete attention from Blake, to the woman not far from the door.
“Company sounds...interesting.” Lita assumed Blake wanted their duo to become a trio, not that Lita would object. There was no reason why she couldn’t share Blake with someone else for a while, or even the entirety of the night. There would be other opportunities to get him all alone to herself. It wasn’t overly difficult to get him alone, after all. A simple text, or call usually did the trick.
With a singular thrust against Blake, her right arm moved off his shoulder so she could call the woman over with an inching of her finger in their direction. It was privately amusing to her that the woman was clad in black leather, whereas Lita was in a racy lace number-the best of both worlds for any man, in her mind. Not that Lita couldn’t appreciate a beautiful woman whose curves were accentuated by the leather that clung to it. Once the invitation was offered, the hand that beckoned the woman over, slipped down past Blake’s chest so she could return the favor that he started with her, with him. Adelita could have easily taken what Blake was doing one step, or many steps further, but seeing as they were expecting company, company that appeared to be...delicate, regardless of what her outfit tried to perceive, Lita would behave. For now. Until the woman was...comfortable around the two of them.
<Sirena> Just as she was turning to leave, Sirena had the ‘thought’ of staying. For a moment, her own thoughts played on the idea that the vampire Pride she had seen from earlier was waiting behind some corner out in the streets. She hesitated by the open door for a few seconds before stepping back into the club. There would be time to call a cab from a pay phone later. There was no sense in running away now just because someone had freaked her out, right?
Normally when she would come across a particular individual that interested her she would act as a sort of ‘stalker’. She wanted to see how their minds worked and how they functioned from day to day. Why was she so eager to run away from a vampire when she could be learning their secrets. Sirena was cut short of her own thoughts as she locked eyes with Adelita a second time and she waved him over. Still, she hesitated. She had already determined that the man she was with had to be another vampire. His eyes and his pasty skin told the secret. She thought it was better to turn and run again, but then she thought of the woman sitting with him. She didn't look like some pasty ghost, her skin made her look human. And she hasn't seen any fangs in the woman mouth at all in the time she had been watching them- she had in the man's mouth. She thought that maybe this woman was just his meal… And she wasn't about to let a second human get slaughtered while she knew what the monster beside them was planning.
Sirena straightened her shoulders and walked over to the couple, refusing to sit at first as she watched them silently. Her mouth fell into a straight line and she felt her stomach drop. Suddenly, playing the hero didn't seem like a good idea anymore. “At least some of us are having fun,” she laughed in a light tone as Blake and ‘Lita teased each other. She slipped her hands into her pockets, wondering if there might be something she could use as a weapon against the vampire. Nothing, but there was still time to find one. She wasn't going to attack while they were surrounded by other people.
Daring to be brave, she looked Blake in the eye. “You saw me earlier, didn't you?” She asked lowly. He must have seen her staring. Why else would he call her over there?

< Blake > Giving a slight groan as Lita shifted once more he gave her butt a gentle smack and smirked. He’d torment her more later but if they were going to have company they needed to show at least a modicum of control especially with how skittish it seemed their company was...or was going to be. The leather outfit spoke of an outgoing and wild attitude but there was something in those eyes of hers, those deep blue eyes, that said differently. That said she was here almost against her own will...ahh, internal conflict. How sweet a thing, especially when one knew how to exploit it.
Blake was not a wicked individual by any means but that didn’t mean he didn’t know how to have a good time with a human. They were, after all, second class citizens in his book and simply put on this planet for the amusement and enjoyment of his kind so why not indulge? Looking from Adelita to the blue eyed woman Blake smiled and let his hand rest where it was on Adelita’s backside. A slight shift of torment as he winked at his companion just as the other woman approached them.
“We both saw you earlier actually.”
He paused and considered her muttered words about ‘fun’.
“There is no reason why we can’t all have fun. In a place like this where no one knows you or your name...when else are you going to have an opportunity to indulge yourself. That is, after all, the whole point of the party isn’t it? To indulge and admit to those deep dark dirty sins that we all have and we all try to hide.”
He glanced to Adelita and smacked her butt once more.
“At least some of us try to hide them…”
< Adelita > The Mexican woman watched the dark haired, blue eyed woman approach, but didn’t remove her hands from Blake completely. While her fingers may no longer be wrapped around him, they did come to rest upon his chest. The woman accused Blake of seeing her before, but Adelita felt no need to interject. After all, she was talking to Blake and Lita was busy enjoying her time in his lap.
“Actually,” Adelita finally interjected, her attention swaying from Blake as she finally acknowledged the woman. “I noticed your butt, first.” Adelita winked at the woman before peering around the room. “I would wager I wasn’t the only one. What do you think about it?” Lita looked at Blake for a split second before focusing on a different topic all together. “I’m Lita.” Adelita removed one of her two hands from off of Blake’s naked chest, extending her hand to the woman. She would not introduce Blake, because he might not want his name passed around, but Lita didn’t care if someone knew her name. “And what do I get to call you? Hurry, hurry, before I spout out the first thing that comes to mind.” Adelita waited for Sirena to take the preferred hand that had been offered and to give a name, before Adelita graced the woman with one.
<Sirena> Sirena glared at Blake for a few seconds before Adelita drug her attention away from him. She blushed at Adelita comment and she cleared her throat before reaching out a hand to shake. “My name is Sirena,” she says quickly to avoid being called some silly pet name for the rest of the night. Her eyes whipped back to Blake for a moment before she sat back down in her seat. Even if he had offered his hand and his name she wouldn’t react. Adelita was human to her eyes. Blake definitely wasn’t human. “There’s no doubt in my mind that you intend to indulge in a little blood lust tonight,” she says bitterly to Blake, partially calling him out on his nature. “I can’t imagine there’s any other reason why you’re here.”
She paused a moment and leaned back in her seat, folding her arms across her chest. She turned to face away from them, still feeling like she was intruding even though she intended to call the vampire out on his plots. He must be planning to drain Adelita… Sirena thought. And how many other humans had he killed that night?
< Blake > He glanced to Adelita for a brief moment and then grinned. His companion was right after all, this Sirena did have quite the nice butt and being the typical man that he was, well, the thoughts went rampant especially given the leather clad woman in front of him and the barely dressed woman sitting in his lap. Yup, if anyone could read his mind he would most certainly be damned to the deepest darkest pits of hell on sheer principle for thinking such indecent thoughts.
“I noticed it too my dear ‘Lita but I was trying to be more...appropriate?”
He glanced at Sirena and smiled as he gave a nod of his head.
“You may call me Blake for the time being...though I would not be surprised if you wound up calling me something else by the end of the night.”
Again that wicked grin as he stared into her eyes with his own ice blues. Eyes that one would swear could almost pierce the soul and stop the heart. It was a favorite look of Blake’s, one that had quite an effect, especially if he lifted his eyebrow just ever so slightly. Which he did.
“I’m not sure to what you’re referring but the only thing I plan to partake in tonight is lust. No blood. I don’t do blood. Bondage maybe but no blood….it makes things far messier than they ever need to be and, well, blood is a ***** to get out of your sheets.”

< Adelita > No sooner had Lita gotten the woman’s name, before she targeted Blake for whatever reason. A flicker of amusement rode her red painted lips, before Adelita smacked her companion's chest for the night and looked at him in mock surprise. “You fiend!” Adelita laughed, burying her lips into Blake’s neck to stop from laughing too hard. Obviously, the woman had Blake pegged for something truly treacherous and morbid. “Well, so long as the blood flows to all the right places, who cares?” Adelita pulled away from Blake to give Sirena a wink, humored with the woman’s feisty nature, while a hand moved down his chest and came to rest on the place she ‘tactfully’ mentioned.
Dark eyes swept around the width of the club, having noticed for now a second time that someone seemed fixated on their new found friend. “Who’s Mister McCreepy over there? A friend of yours?” Adelita waveled her fingers at the male in purple once he realized she was staring at him. “Does he play nice with others?” Her attention shifted to Sirena, curious as to know what his story was.
<Sirena> Sirena sneered at Blake and glanced to Adelita. She felt like they were ganging up on her. She found it unsettling, but to most others it was just fun and games. “Don’t play coy,” she hissed at Blake. “You’re planning on draining her, aren’t you?” she snapped at him. She turned her head to look at whoever Adelita was waving at and she noticed the other PRide now staring at the group. She felt chills run up her spine and she closed her eyes, having to force herself to stay in her seat so she didn’t run out of the building. This could end badly, but she was still thinking of how she could be helping another ‘human’. “Ignore him,” she says to Adelita quickly. “He’s my problem, not yours.” The last thing she needed was for him to be called over as well. Two vampires seemed like a nightmare to her. She didn’t realize she was already sitting next to two.
She turned her attention to Adelita. “Don’t tell me you haven’t noticed what he is. He’s a vampire. Fangs and all. You’re not just going to play his games, are you?” she pushed, not bothering to spare another glance at Blake. She stood and reached her hand out again. “Come on. Come with me instead of the leech and live another day.”
< Blake > Rolling his eyes ever so slightly at ‘Lita’s ‘attack he gave her another pat on the rear as he simply began to laugh softly. This human amused him ever so much. Apparently this ‘Sirena’ was quite the observant one. be it the lack of his reflection in the mirror or some other happenstance she had figured out his nature...but that didn’t mean he was going to admit to it any time soon. Turning to Sirena he gave a full and wide smile before sighing softly.
“My dear Sirena, I will happily admit that I am no normal man….however, you’ve seen far too much Supernatural if you ask me. Whatever little girl crush you have on Sam and Dean can be left at the door because I promise you, I’m no monster of any kind.”
He opened his mouth and, true to his word, there wasn’t a single hint of enlarged canines although it appeared he had his originals modified to look more feral than a normal humans.
“You see? Nothing fantastic or magical. When I was a younger man I was just as obsessed with the mythos as you seem to be and given that back in my younger days, when I lived in America, vampires were all of the rage….it helped to have the look. So I paid to have my canines sharpened. It paid off in most circumstance and now, in my line of work, it still helps.”
Turning his attention back to Adelita he bit down lightly into her neck and gave a soft groan of approval. Those cold blue eyes staring at Sirena as he pretended to feast on the woman in his lap. He knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that Adelita would smack him a good one later for tormenting her in such a way but, alas, his point needed to be made. The whole affair lasted only seconds for as Blake pulled away he gestured to where he had bitten.
“The look is there my beautiful Sirena but, as you can tell from Adelita’s neck here, the effect is not. Not even a hint of pierced skin. Does this put your worries to rest now?”
< Adelita > Adelita’s attention barely shifted away from the man in purple as Sirena told her to ignore him. “But I quite like problems.” Adelita said with a small laugh, before her gaze reverted back to Sirena. Brown eyes swung from Blake to Sirena, wondering what her male companion was going to say or do, if anything. Really, it could only go one of two ways. He would deny it, or admit it and then where would that leave the three of them? In for an interesting night, to say in the least.
Adelita suspected Blake would do the former, than the latter, but did not expect this sort of denial. Playing along with his blood draining performance, Lita willingly went limp against him, burying her head in his shoulders, to give it a kiss before she jumped back to life, attention on Sirena. “Are you telling me, that this delicious morsel is going to come into my room tonight and violate me?” Lita laughed before grabbing onto Blake’s boxers and tugged herself into him more. “Every girl’s wet dream.” She pressed her lips to his and bit down on the lower lip before reluctantly returning her attention to Sirena. “He’s perfectly harmless, I assure you. And even if he wasn’t? Would be the highlight of my week.” Lita slowly let go of his boxers, and let her line of vision refocus on the guy near the door. “Ever had a foursome?” She stared right at Blake, before pointing to the guy she was told to ignore not even five minutes ago.
<Sirena> Sirena eyed Blake skeptically as he spoke, her blue eyes narrowed dangerously at him. It didn't take long for her to realize her mistake and red painted her cheeks, and soon her whole face. She found herself slowly easing back into her seat. She wanted to run and hide after Blake gave his explanation about his appearance. She shifted in her seat slightly as he bit Adelita and she looked away shamefully, not knowing what to do with herself now. Should she run away, or stay there and suffer from embarrassment? The vampire Pride was still watching them, so she didn't jump from her seat. She glanced back at the pair, seemingly speechless.
“How do you explain your skin and eye color?” She asked quickly as a stupid attempt to defend herself. She knew what the possible answers were. “Don't tell me you're wearing makeup… And contacts? I guess that would mean you never grew out of the vampire phase, right?” She remarks a bit bitterly. She was acting rather spiteful sense she had been proved wrong, but she could have sworn he wasn't human. There was still something unsettling about him. Sirena glanced back to the vampire across the room, struggling to choke out words when Adelita asked about a foursome. It seemed the red would never leave her face. “H-he's not someone you would want coming home with you,” she stuttered softly. She didn't bother defending her claim. She doubted either of them would believe her now.
She sucked up her pride and let out a long sigh. “Forgive me for jumping to conclusions,” she says, keeping her gaze directed away from the two of them. “Excuse me.” She stands with the intent to run to the restroom and hide.
