Live chat bonuses have been disabled for the duration of the 1st generation competition. This is because the system for live chat posting is not yet finished, so there's a lot of grey areas surrounding what constitutes live roleplay, or how much of a share each person should really get from each post (if not all the words were their own). Ordinarily this wouldn't matter, but we feel that for this competition it's important for people to be on a level playing field.

You can still post live chat roleplay, of course, but there will not be a 1.5x bonus per word.

We'll work on having the new chat system ready as soon as possible. This system will let live roleplayers automatically post a transcript thread to the forum, which will reward each participant according to how much they wrote on the live chat.
