We're giving away a new first generation character. This time, you can win this competition by roleplaying!

The player who gains the most RPP (roleplay points, earned for posting roleplay on the forum) between today and the end of the chapter (31st of March) will win. You can spend the RPP you gain if you wish, as the system is tracking all NEW RPP you earn from today onwards.

This will be a character of your own creation who will start at level 30 with a fair amount of cash and PXP to get you started so that you're not too much of a wimp compared to the existing characters. You will also be given a free additional character slot, so don't worry if you have too many alts already. This character will have just escaped from the Shadow Realm, having spent the past however many hundreds of years dead and trying to escape it. As such, they will have been turned some time after 1500 C.E., and will have been sired by a vampire who is now long dead (your choice as to who they were). This of course means that you get to start a brand new clan to stand alongside the likes of Grigori, Noble, Worthington, etc.

The only people not eligible for this reward are those already in control of a first generation character. Please also note that the winner will be calculated by adding together all of your characters' new RPP gained, so there's no need to stick to writing as one single character for the next couple of months.

Update on this: we've decided to offer a 2nd generation elder character to anyone finishing second place in the competition. We were going to keep it as a surprise, but we decided to let people know now so that it doesn't seem strange when we award it right at the end. If you win this elder character, you get to pick which of the existing first generation characters was your sire before the vampire holocaust. However, you will need permission from the writer of your chosen first generation character.

Anyone is eligible to win the 2nd gen elder character, even if they already have a 1st or 2nd generation character.

In addition, if the winner of the competition already has a 1st generation character, we're going to award them 100 karma alternatively, and give the 1st gen slot to the runner up. In such an unlikely eventuality, there will be no 2nd gen elder character as a result of this competition.
