UPDATE: Free Karma Offers

This is a 3rd party service which allows users to gain free points by watching ads, completing offers and so on. Path will still gain some revenue when you complete these offers, and it's a good option for those who can't afford to buy karma but want it for something or another. In theory it should also help to drop the auction prices for karma, and might eventually enable us to drop prices for karma items across the board. We're starting it out on a trial basis to see how much it gets used, and we might add to it if it proves to be popular.

Right now unfortunately there are quite a lot of offers which are a little deceptive (such as many of the surveys), but as these are 3rd party ads it's impossible to filter out everything we don't like. We would advise you to not complete any offers which require a download, as you never know what else might come with those downloads, but it's up to you at the end of the day. App downloads for mobile devices might be okay. We'd also like to apologize for some of the stingy options which only offer 0.1 karma for completing the required action; we do not set the reward amount for each offer, so you can blame the company in question for these offers. We gain a little less than usual from this system, compared to outright buying karma, so we've tried our best to make it as fair as we could.

All of that said, at the time of writing this there are enough offers on there right now that you could gain 40 free karma from this system, if you were determined enough. More are added each day, and I'm inquiring about more incentivized video ads (because nobody likes surveys).

One final note: the system they use appears to be based on the user's IP, so you won't be able to complete the offers for each of your characters. [Unconfirmed]
