Another case file slid across his desk as his dark hues glanced up quickly before back down to the paperwork. It had felt like hours and hours of signing forms and reading up on prior case files, his hand was starting to cramp and the coffee cup on the desk was full of cold coffee. Large hands rubbed the stubble of his chin roughly before he stood up to stretch, his back cracking loudly after he twisted and turned his body. After his stretching, he stepped out of his office only to be greeted by one of the agents standing beyond the door.
“Everything making sense now?” The agents tone was neutral and his question simple.
“Aye, I understand. Did you really think it would be an issue though?” Vincent raised his eyebrows questioningly as he watched the agent.
“No we figured this would be the right fit. Welcome aboard agent 47.” The agent offered his hand for a shake, quickly met with the firm grasp of Vincent’s hand.
Vincent walked down the hall, passed a few doors and into a conference room. He was met by many faces, many handshakes and much paperwork. It was amusing to him that he was the 47th agent on this taskforce, mostly amusing because he was nothing like the agent 47 hitman, also because he loved to watch the movies and play the games. He was saddled up with a more experienced partner and sent out into the world on his first case.

-Months later-
Footfalls pounded the pavement, one person serving in and out of the crowds of people, a second pulling their gun and firing into the air. A car came screeching around the corner and stopped just beside the shooter. “Get in!” Vincent was behind the wheel, barking at his partner for an easier chase. As his partner was halfway into the car, Vincent pushed his foot to the floor and gave chase between the streets, screeching around each corner before stopping hard enough that the car bashed into the legs of the person running.
Before the runner hit the pavement, the car doors flew open and both Vincent and his partner jumped out of the car, guns pulled and ready. “FBI, hands where we can see them.” The suspect on the ground was non-compliant, quickly trying to scramble to their feet as Vincent jumped him and cuffed him while his partner stood there with his gun aimed. They hauled him into the car, throwing him down onto the backseat before locking him in the car.
Vincent dropped his partner and their suspect off at FBI headquarters before heading back out onto the town to follow another lead. His methods of splitting from his partner were not always the smartest but he worked better alone. Ever since he had been a high quality escort, he had learned to work alone. The FBI had recruited him from his prior work, offering him more money and better hours in exchange for his intellect and skills. He pulled his car into a parking spot before getting out and going for a stroll, searching for potential witnesses as the sun started to set and the streets came alive with the nightlife.
