Chematt had whispered the secrets of her path to the Allurist months ago; the one he paid the most attention to was how to summon an Aly-more specifically, his wife. As time progressed, Enver learned a few other tricks off the path and then one night, while he was tinkering an idea struck him for the second time in about a year.
Dea needed a friend like her. Enver wouldn't have thought about this when he first met Dea. In fact, Enver couldn't stand Dea and secretly wanted her to go right back to the dark place he had spent a lot of time in before meeting the woman that was now his wife. His soul-mate.
"Dea?" Enver called out to the wraith, wondering if she was hovering around somewhere. Not that he had seen her, but he also was easily lost in his work when he was at the crafting bench tinkering. When no reply came, Enver leaned back on the stool and took a good look around the immediate area. No sign of her either. "Huh." Enver wondered what she got up to these nights. Where she went to. Enver couldn't remember the last time he saw his wife's sister.
"Well, can't complain if she isn't around." Enver decided with a nod before he set the main thing he was tinkering on, a bear trap to a corner on the bench, and swept up the parts with one hand, to a drawer he opened with the other. When all the parts he didn't get to use tonight were put away, the drawer was closed and he stood, pushed the stool in under the desk and headed to a fadeportal that would drop him off in the mausoleum.
Enver honestly wasn't one hundred percent sure how this worked, but he was pretty sure that the mausoleum was the oldest place in the city. Or under the city. And Dea was old and so it made sense to him that he should get someone old for her too. She might have some new lingo and terms down pat, but she had some old views in her mind. He remembered that from when he was dating his wife and then engaged to her. Dea always had an opinion on what he should do and how he should do it.
Enver moved through the mausoleum and then to the catacombs. He saw some familiar vampires faces that didn't mean a lot to him, and even some familiar spirits, but didn't stop to talk to them. They had been in the same spot for so long that Enver was certain they belonged to someone. But as he walked, the earth shifted a little under his feet and that could only mean one thing. The ground was shifting, but maybe, just maybe, there was a new spot in the catacombs that had been left unsearched.
Until now.
Not wasting any time, Enver put a hand on the nearest wall and started following it. Pushing as he went along, until he was in the south catacombs, not far from the entrance or exit to the north [depending on how you look at it], and was in a secret hidden passage.
He wasn't interested in the large creatures down here-Enver wouldn't stand a chance against them anyways. He picked up a rare blade here and there that looked like it could be salvaged, but other than that, Enver was only looking for one thing. Something older than the monsters down here. And as he rounded a sharp corner, Enver came in contact with that something. "Hey. You." He barked out to the spirit that quite blatantly ignored him. "I said, hey. You." Enver growled at the spirit before it moved down the corridor. Enver wasn't giving up, not in the slightest.
He followed it down the long, narrow passage to a dead end. It turned around and looked at Enver. At least that's what Enver thought. It didn't move. Not at first. "You and me. We've got some things to do." Enver growled out at the silent spirit as it just floated there, back to the wall. The wraith had other ideas, because it came shooting at Enver with lightening speed and even attacked Enver, draining some of his energy before floating right past him after Enver's back kissed the stone wall. "No you don't." Enver charged after the wraith in a blur of celerity and stopped in front of the wraith that was adamant on leaving. Only to be blocked by Enver again. "I'm your master. And you're coming with me." His tone was authoritative as a growl escaped his lips, a stare down between Enver and the wraith going on before the wraith inched back a little, unsure what to do. Where to go. And that's when Enver stepped forward. He was the guy in charge here. Not some intangeable wraith. "Get over here." Enver barked at the wraith as he stopped, the wraith floating backwards more. And this is how it went for the next hour. Enver pushing his will and assertiveness on the wraith, randomly getting attacked by it, only to show it he wasn't bothered by that and wasn't letting the wraith win. And eventually, Enver did win.

Jamie laughed, the sound resonating in the small lounge as he tried to concentrate on the game he was playing.
"Are you sure you're a vampire?" he asked, the smile staying on his lips as he attempted to get his virtual player to the goal.
Keara looked up from her place on the floor, confused by the question. She didn't realise how she looked seated on the floor being swarmed by 7 tiny dogs that were wagging their tails and jumping all over her. Leeloo was nestled in the middle of the fray, curled up on Keara's crossed legs being petted as and when her mistress had the time. Gizmo leaned against her side, ready and alert for something. Tremaine and Shepherd were rolling around the elder play fighting with one another and leaping on and over Keara as and when they felt like it. Weylin was tugging on one of her dreads behind her back and sweet little Kaylee kept re-positioning herself every time her siblings tumbled into her. The only pet that the couple owned that wasn't crowding Keara was Zazu, who was shuffling back an forth across the back of the sofa behind Jamie. The crazy bird was bobbing his head as if cheering the kid on while he played his football game.
Jamie grinned at the woman he now called mother, having just scored another goal and won his game. "You look more like a little doggie climbing frame," he mused.
Keara laughed. Something even these days she rarely did around anyone but her husband. She was comfortable in this room; a room Jamie had lovingly named The Pet Palace. The boy had a strange sense of human and included himself among the pets that Keara and Enver owned, along with his minder Serge. The small apartment housed everyone but the couple themselves and Enver's thrall. Keara had told her son that Crash wasn't very trustworthy and that he was better left to his own devices. Even to this day she wasn't entirely sure why Enver kept him around, she suspected his friend was more a source of entertainment but she wasn't entirely sure about that either.
"Love my puppies I do," Keara said as if that explained everything.
For a hardened killer and lover of violence, Keara had quite a soft side. She could blame Enver for that all she liked but she'd never been completely cold-hearted, not even in her first life. Of course she was a lot more open and affectionate now than she ever had been. Enver brought out the best and the worst in the raven haired woman.
Her dark eyes swept around her, her hands busy petting and stroking the fur of any tiny creature that came within range. Sweeping up Kaylee, she briefly nuzzled the runt before setting her in her lap with Leeloo. The timid female tried and succeeding in licking Keara's nose before being settled down and protected from her more boisterous siblings. With the smallest puppy protected, Gizmo seemed to lose interest in his family and began a tour of the lounge, sniffing everything he could get his nose on. Eventually he stopped by the door, as if waiting for someone. The little male was probably wondering where Enver was as he stared at the door, as wherever Keara went, Enver was not far behind and vice versa. Zazu, who also favoured his male owner, didn't seem quite as anxious or aware as he danced behind his new best friend n the sofa.

"What's your name? How long have you been dead for? Who is the first vampire? Do you know Eskoph? What about that Crow guy?" These were some of the questions Enver assaulted the wraith with once he had won the battle, only to be met with silence. Every. Single. Question. Maybe Enver got a wraith that was bad. Are there bad ones? His wife would know.
"Come on." Enver said with a growl as he left the hidden area. "My wife's name is Keara. Don't ever think about attacking her. And she's got a sister, well, you'll see." Enver wasn't playing matchmaker on the way home. He'd sound crazy in public going on about Dea like that. "And there's others that live with us. They're all off limits. You better not think I won't get rid of you. My wife will banish you if you get up to anything funny. " The male warned the wraith as they hit the city streets and headed back to the asylum.
And still, the wraith said nothing. "Especially the boy. Jaime." Enver stopped to point a finger at the wraith before continuing. "Here's home. I don't know where her wraith is, but when she's around you can't miss her. " Enver chuckled before opening the door and heading for the elevator. "Come on. " He tapped the side of his leg like he was beckoning one of the pups and then pushed the button up to the floor he knew Jaime would be on.
And sure enough. "Hey, kiddo." Enver greeted Jaime first with a rub to his hair on his head before addressing his wife. "Hey gorgeous. Look what I snagged today? " He moved out of the way to show off his wraith, proud of his accomplishment.

As Enver entered the room Gizmo went straight for his pant leg so that he could sniff him and see where he'd been. He gave a gentle tug on the material too to try and get Enver's attention but went ignored in favour of the male's other family. The little dog stayed close though, his tail wagging up until he noticed the strange wraith lagging behind his master.
Jamie looked up from his game as Enver rubbed his head by way of greeting. "Hey man," he laughed, failing to duck the physical greeting he should have expected, "watch the do." He laughed and fixed his eyes on the TV screen as he fully expected his father to start pawing at his wife any second. It didn't take long for anyone that spent any significant time with the couple to realise that their attraction to one another often overtook their awareness of the world around them. Thankfully for Jamie, he wasn't actually related to the air of them, closely at least, so watching them fawn all over each other wasn't nearly as gross as it could be.
Looking up from the floor, Keara pouted at Enver's greeting of her. It was stupid to be jealous of their son in any way but still the green eyed monster raised its head when he failed to greet her on a level that satisfied her innate need for him. With the all too familiar feeling running through her veins, she only cast a cursory glance in the wraith's direction. The creature was nothing special and looked much like any other wraith. Since she knew to whom it belonged, it didn't warrant closer inspection. Or so she thought. Pushing herself onto her knees. One puppy in each hand, the female stood, much to Weylin's chagrin. The small creature took to stalking his father at Enver's feet, readying himself to pounce since he no longer had Keara's dreads to play with.
"Thought I did, that you such creatures, despised did?" Keara asked nonchalantly as she pushed herself up onto her toes in an effort to lightly brush her lips with her husband's.
The brief contact would not be enough to sate her desire for him but it was all she could manage with Leeloo in one hand and Kaylee in the other. She could have placed the puppies on the floor but she knew herself well enough to know that if she freed her hands she would greet her husband more affectionately, at which point she would likely embarrass their child; something she was trying not to do. It wasn't easy at times to remember that they had company, especially while at home, but she was making an effort not to alienate the boy.

Enver scooped his dog up as it tilted its head and looked in the direction of where the wraith was, a low whimper escaping the dog as Enver pulled Gizmo away from the wraith. He moved the dog to the side so that he would be out of the way of the needs of Keara and his own to greet the other properly. With one hand on the dog, his other reached out for his wife and pulled her back over to him, so he could get another kiss. This one was longer than the one she gave him.
"I don't like them. But I got it for Dea. A friend or maybe something more. Where's she been at, anyways?" Enver took another look around, his eyes looking for Dea, until he noticed his wraith was inching closer to his wife. "I told you she was off limits, buddy." Enver said with a scowl, expecting the wraith to attack his wife at any moment. But the wraith didn't seem to hear Enver, or didn't want to listen. Either way, the wraith was next to Keara in a whirl of speed and staring straight at her.
"Hey." Enver said with a short snap and growl at the wraith before he moved between the wraith and his wife. "I told you. That's Keara, my wife. And she's off limits. As is everyone in here." Enver wanted to remind the wraith, but the wraith went right through Enver, causing a jolt of physical pain surging through Enver's body as the wraith discredited anything he said. "No." The ghost rasped in utter defiance to his owner as he loomed over Keara and focused on her, blocking everything Enver said out.

His lips were a dangerous weapon to the elder that loved him dearly and while his kiss still wasn't what it could be, it was more than she had been meaning to give him. desire washed through her and she had to fight herself not to the drop the two small creatures she held tucked under each arm. As he released his hold on her, she carefully stepped back. Her movement was slow and deliberate for two reasons; one, she didn't actually wish to put any distance between herself and her husband and was therefore fighting her instincts and two, she didn't want to step on any of the remaining four Chihuahua's that were tangling themselves around their owner's feet.
Her focus was so much on her husband and the small animals on the floor that she didn't notice the wraith was edging closer to her. Not that she would have cared even if she had. Most wraiths seemed to leave her alone, with the exception of her sister, and even then Dea didn't attack her. A ghost of a smile played across her lips as Enver told her that he had taken a wraith for Deanna. She'd always suspected that he liked her sister more than he let on and this just proved it to her.
The atmosphere in the small lounge quickly shifted with the wraiths antics and Enver's cross words. Jamie even looked up from his game to see what was going on. He didn't see the wraith and for the most part he was glad. The first time he'd seen Deanna she'd creeped him out, but it was almost worse knowing there was something else about that he couldn't see. Dea always showing herself to family unless Keara had asked her to trail them and stay hidden. So at least with her, he knew when she was about.
As Enver chastised his new friend, Keara had begun to concentrate upon her sister. She asked her to return home to her. She wasn't sure if Dea would take to the new addition to the family or not, as she far preferred the company of the living to that of the dead. She had too few wraith friends, even though the city was rife with them these days; Wraiths, like humans and vampires, didn't bond simply because they were of the same race.
Keara felt a shiver of emotion run through her as the wraith attacked her husband, or rather blew straight through him. As it stopped before her, taking up what could be seen as a rather menacing demeanor, she held her ground. No discernible features made the thing stand out to her but there was something oddly familiar about it's presence. The one spoken word that slipped from the being sent shivers down her spine and yet the elder didn't flinch. She wasn't easily scared and she certainly wasn't worried about a spectral being that could only sap her of her mystical energies.
"Jamie..."
The single word seemed to give an unspoken command, as she kept her eyes on the shadow before her. Her hands slipped behind her back, each one holding squirming puppies that Keara hoped her son would take from her. He may not have been able to see the being but the dogs could see it just fine and she wanted them out of the way in case it attacked her. The teenager stood behind her back, taking Leeloo from her first, setting her on the ground before taking Kaylee and backing away. The only clue he had to the wraith's location was the direction in which his parent's were looking.
"No?" Keara asked the thing before her once Jamie had backed away. "Argue you would, with the one to whom belong you do?"
Wraiths could be summoned to do a vampire's bidding but that didn't always mean that they behaved themselves. They didn't have to do a damn thing their summoner asked them to do, but most did out of fear of being sent back to the Shadow Realm.
"If behave you do not, especially when within our home you are, dismissed you can be. Shall be. Tolerate you hurting my family, My Love, I shall not."
Her voice held it's usual quiet authority. Keara was calm and kept her eyes trained on the facial area of the wraith as she spoke, as if she were attempting to look it in the eyes. She wanted it to know that she was serious. Enver was capable of breaking his bond with the wraith but she didn't need his permission to banish it herself, even if it could be brought back just as easily. With her hands now clasped behind her back, her back straight, she waited to see what the spectral being would say or do next.

No.
Enver didn't particularly like being told no. Or being told he couldn't do something. Or shouldn't. Basically, if Enver wanted to do something and wanted someone to do something, they should. Because he said so, or because he had no second thoughts on dropping a lot of cash to see things happen the way he wanted them to happen. "Now look right here." A Finger inched towards the wraith as Enver stepped forward, slowly, sore from the second time tonight because of the ghost he summoned. Or captured. It was a grey area.
But, his wife remained ferocious and fierce as ever. She spoke what Enver was thinking in her way, so he gave the floor to her. Then there was uncomfortable silence after she spoke, neither his wife, or the wraith moving. "Wonder what Deanna is doing." The male spoke after clearing his throat, eyes moving between the wraith and his wife. The wraith's body finally moved. Just the head. The way its neck moved and turned appeared to Enver like he was checking his wife out; though that wasn't difficult for Enver to imagine. Anyone who looked at his wife for more than what he thought was necessary, was looking at his wife. Wanted his wife.
"You two need a room?" There was sarcasm and bitterness in Enver's words as he moved, and walked through the shape of the wraith, taking the uncomfortable and strong feeling of being 'attacked' by a wraith, just so he could put space between his wife and the wraith. So the wraith couldn't see his wife anymore as his dark eyes stayed locked on Keara.
"Thou art naught who thou proclaims to be." The wraith spoke at Enver's back, leaving Enver confused. Enver hadn't 'proclaimed' to be anyone; at least he hadn't thought so. "No, I'm exactly why I said I was, buddy." The finger that had been pointed was dropped as Enver turned to look at the ghost. Or past the ghost, at his son, Jaime. By now everyone's attention was on Enver and Keara, from Jaime to the dogs, as they watched Enver and Keara talk to a voice that wasn't physically seen or belonged to anyone yet that wasn't gifted with seeing wraiths. "Maybe this wasn't such a good idea. He's broken or something." Enver grumbled in the direction of his wife, realizing that the wraith probably wasn't overly thrilled to be here and wasn't going to take directions very well. Not that Enver was the sort to expect a lot from the wraith. Crash barely did anything these nights that wasn't for his own personal gain.

"Asked Deanna I have for home to return."
Keara choose to ignore his comment about getting a room with his new pet, mainly because she didn't really understand what he meant by it. She knew what people generally meant when they said things like that but it made no sense to her that he was telling her to get a room with an incorporeal being. The creature didn't even seem to want to talk to them. At least that was how it seemed to her. Just as she was thinking about how it didn't seem interested with them, it spoke again. It's words were not of this time and the manner in which it spoke reminded Keara of days before the holocaust. In fact, it sounded older than that. The way in which it spoke was almost lyrical, not in the same way she spoke, though perhaps. The use of old fashioned word certainly didn't suit the ghost of any recently turned and deceased vampire. It was curious and Keara might have thought more on the subject had Enver not opened his mouth and put his foot right in it.
"Broken?"
The word was whispered and the elder brought her hand to her lips as if to protect herself from what she'd said, or perhaps from what he'd said. Broken was a word she'd often used to describe herself which meant it held more negativity for her than to most. Crazy was another word she didn't like and while in some ways she was okay using the words to describe herself, it hurt to have others say it, even (as it was with this case) if they weren't directed at her. Dropping her hand, she crossed her arms over her chest and stared at her husband. The look she gave him was anything but friendly and it was one he definitely would have recognised, for as loved up as the couple were, they were not opposed to arguing, and arguing quite often at that. If the dips and peaks of their relationship needed defining, Enver would probably blame his path and the fact that his wife was overly emotional, while Keara would say that they loved one another too much, and in all honesty, they'd probably both be right.
"Like you do not what broken is? Fixed what broken has been, you cannot?" she challenged. "Think you do, that I to that realm return should? For I too broken am, Enver."
Thankfully she wasn't angry enough for the room to darken and for the furniture to come to life but then Enver was yet to reply. The male had the uncanny ability to be able to push the woman over the edge by responding in the exact opposite way that anyone with even half his intelligence would think to. In fact, at times, Keara thought her husband liked to push her further because making up after was so much fun, though if that was true, he'd not admitted it yet.
Jamie looked between the pair and shrank further into the sofa as he considered how good his chances were of making it to the door unnoticed. He knew the pair could argue, he'd seen it many times already and he knew he didn't want to stick around for that, or for the after show, as once the pair got going, they didn't seem to notice if anyone else was in the room with them. The problem was that the fight was only just starting, which meant moving at this point was dangerous, he didn't want their attention on him if he could help it. Even the pets in the room seemed to be holding their doggy breaths, waiting to see if they should run for cover.

Enver almost groaned when his wife recited the words he had said about the wraith that didn't seem to want to be part of the scene Enver had planned for him. A hand went to his face as Enver face palmed, his eyes narrowing. Why was she defending the thing? It was a bad wraith. Defunct. It wasn't even her wraith or her he was talking about. She didn't even know a single thing about the wraith and here she was defending it!
Enver took a deep breath in, trying not to explode over her irrational sentiment over the wraith, but then she made it personal and his hand dragged across his face and fell down at his side. Enver rolled his eyes and did groan this time before glaring at the wraith. It was all his fault. Her fault. Whatever it was-it was its fault.
The fact the wraith got quiet and seemed to be staring at Enver, on top of the fact the room seemed quiet with a kid and puppies in the room kept Enver from blurting out the first thing that came to his mind. Which was to accuse his wife of being in cahoots with the wraith and wanting to get a room with it. They both talked the same almost. Seemed legit to Enver. To his irrational frame of mind it made sense anyways.
Instead, Enver cleared his throat and rubbed at his rugged jawline before speaking. "I just don't think he'd, she'd...it would be a good fit. It doesn't listen to its master, it won't listen to you. It might damn well attack Jaime at this rate, or Leelo. Anyone in the family." When put in that perspective, his wife wouldn't-no couldn't disagree with his thought process. Right? Enver crossed his own arms at his chest, mirroring his wife's actions as he stood there and waited for her to agree. Or defy him. He at least could say he tried to be the rational one this go around before the purple headed monster of jealousy wormed its way out.

Having taken the puppies and made his retreat to the sofa unnoticed, Jamie was still considering his best option for escape when the wraith he knew and could see breezed in. Deanna knew she was to make herself visible to all when she was at home and while she sometimes forgot when in the public areas, she seldom forgot upon entering the private ones. Jamie ran a hand through his jet black hair and practically sighed with relief. Deanna hadn't noticed the kid at first either, her eyes falling first on the warring pair and their new pet.
"What the fu..." she began before realising she didn't want to draw attention to herself. "Forget it. I'm not sure what this is," an unshapely arm gestured between the pair, "but I'm pretty sure I don't want to be dragged into the middle of it."
It was as she was turning to leave that she noticed Jamie trying to burrow his way backwards into the sofa. It was Dea's turn to sigh as she realised she couldn't rightly walk out and leave the fragile kid to deal with what was going on. Collateral damage was par for the course when Keara and Enver fought but unlike furniture and walls, Jamie wouldn't be so easy to repair or replace. The sympathetic creature floated to the sofa and settled herself into a position that made it appear that she was sitting next to him.
"So... what have I missed?" she asked her ward.
"Erm..." Jamie wasn't sure where to begin but tried to summarise the situation as best he could, his voice little more than a whisper. "Enver got a wraith and wants to send it back. He said it was broken or something. Then Keara got all annoyed at him."
"I see..."
Jamie wasn't used to calling his new parents mum and dad, so he switched back and forth, mainly when Keara reminded him to use the titles as opposed to the names; at this point though, she really wasn't paying attention to the child or his words. The raven haired female was so focused on her husband that she'd barely even registered Deanna's entrance or the fact that she'd spoken.
"Missed I believe you have the point of what said I did, Enver." She was clearly annoyed at her husband and it showed as much in her words as her posture, as she usually didn't just address her husband by his name. He was no longer her Enver, or her love, just Enver. "Your wraith it is, the decision ultimately yours is. But just because something broken is, means not, that it useless is. Perhaps time requires it does for to adjust. Thought of that perhaps you have not. You new to it are, as it new to you is."
Keara wasn't sure how Enver didn't even know the gender of his wraith but bit her tongue, as she didn't really care either way. No. That wasn't true. She did care. She didn't want it to be female but that was a whole new argument that she wasn't ready to have. The thought that she might have to banish the creature if it got too close to him though had occurred to her already and she was yet to even know the wraith's name.
Deanna left her space by Jamie and floated over by the pair. It had taken her only a moment to consider what Jamie had told her and what exactly the problem between the pair was, besides the fact that Keara would have to share Enver's attention with yet another being that was. Their issues were simple to anyone on the outside and yet for some reason the air could fight like cat and dog over practically nothing because they both missed what was glaringly obvious to everyone else.
"Right. You." She waved towards Enver. "Pull your head out of your arse. How long have you been married to this woman. Seriously. How do you not know her trigger words already." Deanna had decided to set out the issue for Enver in black and white for him. "You used the word broken. You may as well have said crazy. You know Keara doesn't like those words being applied to her and whether you meant it or not, you've indirectly insulted her. You wouldn't banish Kay just because she's... well... her..." she avoided using the offending word and then turned her attention to her sister.
"And you. Stop being over sensitive. You know he's a dumbass and that his foot lives in his mouth. For an intelligent guy he doesn't always think before he opens his mouth. He wasn't talking about you. He was talking about his new little friend. Not everything that's broken can be repaired. Not everyone is as lucky as us to escape that place with their marbles intact. You are not broken or crazy. Okay. We all understand you. And considering I knew you from before, I know you aren't as damaged as you think you are. Yes, you've changed, but I think you're a much nicer person now than you used to. So... Can you two please cut the crap before things get out of hand?" Then under her breathe she added, "For once."
Keara looked from her sister to her husband but said nothing, her posture unchanging as she waited to see what Enver would make of her sister's rant.
