Haven - The Sanctuary for Fledgling Vampires
Posted: 09 Sep 2015, 00:51
Welcome to Haven,
A space for newly turned Vampires to live, in the relative safety of an apartment building created for the sole purpose of keeping their kind safe. Hidden in the basement of Sanctuary apartments are tunnel spaces designed to keep the sun out. Where new vampires can mingle and get used to their new lives as eternal blood suckers.
The brain child of Pi dArtois, she understands the inertia between what a person once was as a human being, to what they have become.
For those that require, she also provides vampire mentors, established and knowledgeable guides to help new vampires adjust. That adjustment can be anything from a safe place to live, to understanding the new laws they must work within to remain safe.
The danger is two-fold, the danger of humans finding out what they are and hunting them. To other vampires who would hunt their own kind in order to protect the secret that lies under the heartbeat of this small town.
During the period of adjustment many young vampires fall between the cracks of law and justice, sacrificed for nothing more than a lack of understanding of how to protect themselves from notice, both human and other vampire.
How to buy an apartment in Haven
You can find tunnel apartments for sale on standard real estate listing. Using magic those listings can only be seen by newly turned vampires, no humans, or older vampires can view them.
The listing is innocuous and simple, detailing merely where they are located and cost, nothing more. Nothing suspicious, even if someone was looking over your shoulder while you were viewing the listings.
Where are the apartments located?
Hidden in Wickbridge you enter Sanctuary Apartments through the main entrance (24,22 on the grid). Inside to the left of the front door, behind the reception desk there is a private elevator that will take you down to the tunnel apartments.
The only ones who own apartments in this portion of the apartment building are vampires. A building created solely for, and for the use of, the newly turned.
Once you take the elevator down, you'll enter the restricted tunnel apartment lobby. Every apartment is furnished. The furniture is sparse, but it is free and it's there, knowing that in this new life, a space, your own space, is better than no space at all.
