Little Monster

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
There was only one place she wanted to be when Adelita was told what she was told by Micah just an hour, if that before she arrived in the apartment of Elighan. She never claimed the apartment was hers, just the bed. Many times, unsuccessfully. Most nights not a single thing happened. Some nights she made barriers so he couldn't come on her side, just to find the next night that he had taken those barriers down and sometimes even was touching her. Nothing indecent, but still. And those times, Lita usually bolted from his apartment, desperate to get away from the guy. Only, one night, Lita took things too far for her own personal amusement. She didn't even remember what had sparked it, but that night there was no way they weren't going to ****. Lita didn't mind *******, but she didn't want what he wanted. A relationship. Nothing about that idea seemed exciting to the woman or anything she was remotely interested. Nothing was wrong with casual sex. The Mexican woman remembered how much he fought her and how much she fought back and when he touched her, she pacified him. She had never done anything like that before, so how was she supposed to know he would react so strongly? Especially when he was so adamant that they would never, ever, ever ****? They had, more than once that night and low and behold when she tomed into the Andras home and met Micah and another Andras family member while eating raw, bloody, delicious meat, Micah put two and two together. Especially given her wave of bipolar emotions. She had to be pregnant with a fadebeast. A monster. She was pregnant with a monster. Everything about that sentence disgusted Adelita. Pregnant and monster. How was she supposed to know that this could happen? It had never happened before and no one she knew (which was about two vampires) had ever been pregnant or made someone pregnant. Micah had told her she had a choice to make, but first, Adelita was going to make his life a living hell because it was obviously his fault. Godric had never put a monster in her. Neither had anyone else. The tiny, dark haired woman marched right in the apartment like it was hers and went right for Elighan, shouting in her native tongue, " idiota!" She gave him a shove, smack dab in the middle of the chest, good and hard before her arms crossed over the white, lace blouse she was wearing, eyes of daggers on the male.
Elighan:
I was making myself a cup of tea when Adelita comes screaming into the apartment; it must be a day ending ‘y’. I sigh and am not entirely surprised to find that I’m the subject for her rage. The woman blows hot and cold all the time and it’s gotten worse of late. I rub at my chest where she shoved me. A lesser man might be intimidated by her strength but mot me. I have no issue with a woman being able to beat me in a fight as I never plan on attacking one myself. “Woah. Melete. What have I done now?” I must have done something. Or at least you’d think I’d done something. Whatever it is, I don’t recall what it was. I would definitely remember something worthy of being screamed at. I try to think of something, anything but honestly it’s a little difficult with her folding her arms the way she does, practically puffing up her chest and drawing attention to it.
Adelita:
Her stance widens on the black suede heels she's wearing, the exact color of her mini-skirt, that was barely visible because the lace top she was wearing was almost the same length. However, when she walked, crossed her arms or just took a breath in, you could notice the skirt now. "Do not call me that. Estoy embarazada." Both her hands moved to her stomach and made the rounded gesture of an enlarged stomach. "I'm pregnant, you pendejo." A finger met his chest again. "By you. You put a little monster in me." Adelita took a step back from Elighan as a hand moved through her semi-curled hair and collected it before she put a rubber band in the top half of her hair as she stared at him. "Congratulations." She said bitterly before Adelita moved away from him and headed in the kitchen to find something to eat. At this rate she would be the size of the apartment by the end of next week.
Elighan:
I’m used to the name calling, so it doesn’t affect me, but as she tells me she’s pregnant, I find I’m unable to process what it is that she’s saying. The woman before me does not breathe. She is a vampire. Vampires cannot get pregnant. Or so I had believed. I stare at her; gawk might actually be a more accurate description but before I can say anything, or even blink, she’s gone around me and is hunting for something to eat. If I believe her, which at this point I’m not sure I do, this would make a little sense as she has been more temperamental than normal. Stupidly perhaps, I just assumed that she was feeling more at home in the apartment and so was no longer trying to temper her behaviour around me. “Erm… Melete… Are you… joking?” I run my hand over the back of my neck as I rather ashamedly stare at her backside. I don’t believe I should be held accountable for that though, as she does choose to wear the shortest, most form fitting outfits possible. Thankfully her wardrobe is now filled with garments of a higher quality as the cheap articles she used to wear simply did not do her justice. “Vampires can’t…” I gesture with my hands to make a rounded stomach, as I don’t feel comfortable saying the word.
Adelita:
Adelita had just grabbed some left over Chinese from the other night when he asked her if she was joking. Lita turns around slowly to see Elighan doing the same gesture she had a few seconds ago before she sets the container on the counter calmly. Or as calmly as possible. "Si. They can, apparently. And no, I am not joking!" Her tone rises as her eyes pierce his once again. "Why would I joke about that? Do you think, I think it is a funny idea to be fat and hungry with your monster in me?" She laughed dryly. "Such a dream, si?" She turns from him and puts the container in the microwave, but in a few seconds she pulls it out, because the idea of cold beef is actually quite appealing to her. Too bad it wasn't rare.
Elighan:
My hand is practically massaging the back of my neck now. This is a lot to take in. Adelita has no interest in a relationship and I highly doubt that having a child is going to change that. Her words sting somewhat too. I know this wasn’t what either of us planned but calling our child a monster is a little excessive, even for her. That is if it is our child. That is one question I am going to have to ask but I’m not entirely sure how to go about asking that of a woman that could end my life as easily as snapping a twig. “Melete. Sweetheart. You are going to have to give me a moment here as this is a lot to take in and I have at least one question that I’m not entirely convinced won’t end with you killing me. So please… Can you try not insulting when you next speak? It would be very much appreciated.” I force my hand to my side, before I find I’ve raised it again, only now I’m patting the counter with the palm of my hand in a slow and steady rhythm. “I hardly think it’s fair of you to call a child, mine or otherwise, a monster. If you don’t want to have a child these days there are options and I’m sure there must be a vampire doctor somewhere that would be willing to talk you through them.” I’m trying to remain calm and I think I’m succeeding. If not. I’m sure I’m about to find out.
Adelita:
As he talks, Lita digs around for a fork and as he keeps talking, Lita jabs at the pieces of meat in the container and all but inhales them, chewing very slowly. "What do you mean yours, or otherwise? It is yours and it is a monster. Vampires don't have babies, they have monsters. Big, mean, nasty monsters that are strong too." She put the container aside and recrossed her arms at her chest. "You got me pregnant with a monster that is going to kill at least me, and likely you. Enjoy your last few weeks on earth." She grabbed the container and pitched it in the garbage before washing her hands. "There's no steak in the fridge." Because she ate all that he had bought the other night.
Elighan:
I stop my unusual tapping and run my hand down my face. This night gets better and better. She’s never going to forgive me for killing her. Though therein perhaps lies the upside of dying myself. Though honestly I do need to avoid that if I can, unlike my not so fair lady, I will not be coming back from that. “Right. Okay. So vampires produce strong monsters that like to kill their… creators.” Creators seems like a more reasonable word than parents. Parents would denote an attachment to the creature which clearly we won’t have. “And as much as I am happy to shoulder partial blame for the predicament you now find yourself in, you have to admit that it is possibly someone else’s monster and not mine. You do have a very high sex drive and I haven’t been very helpful to you in that department. That one night aside.”
Adelita:
Adelita paused, hands in the water as it ran down from the spout as she listened to what he said. And then she replayed what it was he had said, making sure she heard him right. "Maybe you have a very low sex drive." Adelita started out as she stared at the water that was running down the sink. "If it was someone else's monster, I would have died weeks ago, asshole." To her, saying that word in English sounded funny and it probably did to him too. It sounded more like two words, *** and hole as there was a definitive pause between the words. "It is your beast and so help me on the virgin Mother Mary if you suggest it isn't again, I will kill you and let the thing eat you right now!" Adelita nearly screamed the last bit at him as she cut the water off and turned to face him. And when her eyes locked with his, Lita's eyes started to water. "I don't know why you have to be so mean." Lita rubbed at her eyes with the back of her arm before she started to cry. "I'm going to get fat and die and you are being an asshole." That time it was said more fluidly.
Elighan:
Oh sweet Jesus, I’ve done it now. As her eyes start to tear up I’m grabbing the tea-towel from off the counter. “Don’t cry Princess. I’m not being mean. I had to ask.” I start drying her hands off first, as she probably needs to cry. I’m not entirely sure what the timeframe for a vampire pregnancy is but it must be fast considering the fact that she clearly seems to have mood swings and her eating habits have changed. “Do you want me to go and get you some steak? I will. I can even have one of the girls bring it over if you’d rather I didn’t leave.” I finish drying her hands off as best I can and then I put my arms around her. “You won’t get fat Melete. Being pregnant and being fat are not the same thing. And I’m sure you’ll still look stunning regardless.” I don’t just say the words to placate her, I believe them though I’m prepared for the fact that she may not believe me.
Adelita:
"No you didn't." She snaps at him. "I'm here almost every night." She lets him dry her hands before her sadness turns to rage again. "You want to bring a girl here? A skinny, pretty, not pregnant with your monster girl here?" Adelita grabbed the towel and tossed it in his face. "I can get my own steak, jerk." The j could barely be heard and sounded more like 'erk,' but he was a smart man and could put two and two together. She moves away to the bedroom and starts going through the closet. "Call her. Call the skinny little punta. See if I care." She starts putting some of her clothes on the bed, indicating she was packing to leave.
Elighan:
I sigh, shaking my head as I follow Adelita to the bedroom. “You know I’m not like that sweetheart. I don’t do one night stands. I don’t have a little black book. And I wasn’t trying to upset by suggesting either of those statements was true. I simply meant one of the girls from Jenks. You know them. I have no interest in any of them I assure you.” I sound crazy. I’m reassuring a woman that doesn’t want anything to do with me that I’m what? Not having an affair? That is a little impossible given the fact that Adelita does not ‘do relationships’. Aside from that it’s just preposterous. She knows I’m not some player, so I can only assume that she’s projecting on me because her emotions are all over the place and she wants to argue. I start picking up her clothes, putting them back in the cupboard.
Adelita:
She just stood there and watched him put the clothes she just took out, back in. "What are you doing?" She snapped at him before sitting on the corner of the empty bed. "I don't want to have a little monster. Yours or otherwise." She let her back find the mattress before she kicked off her heels and then curled into a ball on the mattress. "Just go away, Elighan. Go call your girl's and don't worry about me or the monster that couldn't possibly be yours."
Elighan:
I can’t sigh even though I’m frustrated. The woman is obviously trying to push me away and I’m not going to have it. I don’t run away from my mistakes and if there’s a way to fix this one I will help her find it. “Come here Princess.” I sit on the bed and pull her into my arms. It’s not a difficult to task to do considering Adelita is so skinny that someone could be mistaken for thinking she’s malnourished. “I’m not going to call anyone and I’m not leaving. If you really want steak right now we’ll either go out together or you can ask Winny to bring it by. Okay?” I run her back in a manner that is supposed to be soothing. It worked for Caitlyn but Adelita is nothing like her. “I’m sorry for my part in all of this Melete. Just tell me what you want me to do and I’ll do it.” I may be lying. If she tells me to leave I’m obviously not doing that. I hold my breath and wait for her reply.
Adelita:
She is in his arms and she stays there as he rubs her back. It's neither soothing or irritating, so she allows him to do it as she thinks. "There is nothing you can do, Elighan." Which is true. "You're stuck with me like this until it comes in a couple weeks." She shrugged. "I'm so hungry." She nuzzles in to his neck and takes a deep breath. "Did anyone tell you that you smell good?" Her tongue glides across his neck, tasting the salt on it
Elighan:
“I’m really sorry Princess. I never would have… I shouldn’t have…” Now I allow myself to sigh, though it’s an odd mix of frustration, fear and lust. I don’t know why she insists on behaving like this around me. I’ve made my position about one night stands more than clear to her. “Only bite me if you want me wandering around the city with no memory of what happened for the next hour or so.” I don’t believe I’d forget this conversation, I just don’t want to chance leaving her alone. “Though…” A thought occurs to me and as I vocalise it I realise just how wrongly she could it. “You could tie me to the bed so I can’t wander off if you really do need to feed.”
Adelita:
"If I tie you up, I'm not just feeding from you." She warned him before scooting away. She was supposed to be mad at him. Furious and here she was, flirting with him. "Please don't leave me alone in this. I'll try to be nice. And not eat in bed. I just don't have many people in my life anymore. No one I know and trust like you." She looked up at him, "Please.?"
Elighan:
My laugh is rough and I attempt to keep it short as I don’t want to upset Adelita. I should have expected that kind of reply from her, really, but I still hadn’t been expecting it. The women is incorrigible. “Erm… If you think you’re going to misbehave then we may need to rethink you tying me to the bed.” My hand stills on her back and my thumb lightly caresses her where it sits. “And you do not need to worry about me going anywhere. I’ll be right here. Or wherever else you need me. Okay? All you need to do is call or text.” I brush a strand of hair from her face and lightly press my lips to her temple. “And you can eat what you like in bed Princess. I won’t shout at you or get upset. I promise.”
Adelita:
"Anything?" She looked at him from the side, before Lita scooted away from him. "And if it's you?" Adelita looked at him after she let her back come to rest against the headboard of the bed. "It could happen." She said with profound certainty. "Then what?" She asked him as Adelita pulled her feet up and let her knees come to rest at her chest. "I could kill you. I probably would kill you."
Elighan:
I very briefly run my hand down over my face. Adelita is no shrinking violet and if she’s going to insist on feeding on me and tying me up, then I’m pretty sure I’m not going to be able to stop her from then taking anything else she wants from me. Not that I’m not attracted to her. I just wish she were a little more… faithful. Sadly, that is not a word I would apply to the temptress before me as she seems to have a strong hedonistic streak in her. “If you really need my blood Princess I’m not going to say no. Just try not to kill me and don’t let me wander off afterwards. Maybe you could force me into the shower? That might wake me up and break that spell you vampires cast over your victims.” It’s probably worth a shot, though now I’ve said that I can imagine her offering to shower with me. The woman has an appetite that I’m sure would rival that of Aphrodite.
Adelita:
Any other night Adelita would have been amused. First he doesn't mind being tied up and next he wants to shower with her too. But this was not any regular night. "Try?" Adelita wondered if he knew just how difficult that might actually be. When she was hungry, nothing was going to get in her way of engorging herself in whatever it was she was craving; which was typically raw, bloody flesh. Would there come a night she might want to eat his flesh? She shuddered and even gagged. She gagged so much that Adelita almost puked, but she swallowed it down before it escaped her mouth. "I will try." She says, though Lita can't promise him that she won't want to drain him dry. "At some point we'll have to figure something out. So you don't die. Even if you are a pendejo." She said that half in jest and half in annoyance at the fact that she was screwed. Micah's plan wasn't a guarantee, but it sounded like death was.
Elighan:
I rub at her back as she begins to gag. I have no idea what she’s going through and I’m not sure it’s going to be pleasant. Not if she’s going to still have go through all the usual stages of pregnancy first and at an accelerated rate no less. “Well I can’t ask you to promise Melete, as I’m not sure how much control you’ll have over your actions due to the… err… monster.” I offer her a smile that I hope is supportive rather than condescending. “And if you kill me. Then you kill me. There’s nothing I’ll be able to do at that point so I suppose it will be up to you at that point as to whether or not I stay dead. But no getting any ideas.” I smirk. “I don’t plan on becoming a vampire so if you have to you exercise some restraint when those urges of yours threaten to overwhelm you. Okay?”

Okay?”
