Bartimas: Lord, what had it been? Months? It was quite a while since last he heard from his sire, and the text, read aloud by the slender phone he still carried was enough to jolt him out of his daily routine. Day after day had marched on by, with his two businesses taking off soaring in the meantime. One a small music theory and lessons business, with himself and several employees teaching at various customer's homes, while the other involved his singing or playing as entertainment. Weddings, all sorts of other moments, or sometimes even public venues, although normally to open. He was... Looking well. Fit, trimmed, and wearing the familiar bright mirrored sunglasses, hair combed back neatly from his face. Resting on one leg was the long familiar cane, although he was wearing a surprisingly well tailored set of slacks and a collared white shirt, setting a more than presentable sight as he waits quietly on the bench outside the coffee shop she had suggested. People where a soothing thing to him these days, something to enjoy being around, even if he lived a bit apart... -d-
Ursula Wolfe:: Ursa zoomed through the city, purposely weaving her motorcycle in and out of traffic for that little thrill that she got from pissing off people when she cut them off. So it didn't take her long to get to the coffee shop that she had mentioned she would meet him at. Granted, she couldn't drink coffee, but she knew that Bart liked being around people. His playing always drew them like mothes to a flame. She pulled up against the curb and sat up, pulling the helmet from her head and set it on the back of her seat before she eased off the now quiet beast and headed for her progeny. "Bart!" She called out, happy to see him, and happy to see how well he was doing.
Bartimas: Bart rises from his seated position almost as soon as he hears the oncoming motorcycle. The muffled curses his keen hearing could make out was always an immediately recognizable sound applied to a motorcycles roar. He turns when she hops up onto the curve, and enters his frame of perception, blind eyes seeking her out as he says warmly "Ursula..." as he steps up, leaning in and wrapping both arms, cane and all, around her in a firm hug. He smiles warmly soon after, lifting his gaze blindly to press a kiss to her cheek, saying softly "You disappeared off the radar there for a while Ursula.... If i did not know you, I would have been worried for your safety...' He pats her arm fondly, murmuring "I do remember who taught me how to fight..' he shakes his head slightly, turning his gaze back towards her, blind though it was. Carefully, he gestures, saying "Come in, get a cup and lets catch up?" -d-
Ursula Wolfe:: Ursa smiled and returned the hug as well as the kiss on the cheek with one on his cheek as well. However, she smirked a bit as she noticed that she left behind a small red mark from her lipstick and gently wiped it away before she replied. "Such a flatterer, I'm glad you are well though, dearie." She said and then leaned in as she hooked her arm around his "You do remember though that I can't have normal food right?" She said in a soft whisper.
Bartimas: His smile is warm as he says gently "Flatterer? Me...? Never Ursula... I will hold a certain fondness for you i think forever... Although having been my first real crush I do not think i could pretend otherwise..' He inclines his head to the woman gently before he says gently "Even if you can't drink it... Order one, and sit down with it. Enjoy the smell at least... Living is about fitting in, something I am finding carefully..." He grins ever so gently at her before he murmurs "Shall we then?" as he starts to step forwards -s-
Ursula Wolfe:: "My clever Barti..." She teased "You are right, and lets." She said as she let him lead her into the cafe. He had a point, if nothing else, she could enjoy the scent. She enjoyed the smell of food even if she couldn't eat it. And she enjoyed the smell of drinks like coffee and lattes and wine, even if the only way she could stomach the latter was if it was made of blood. "I'm sorry I had vanished, I went home for a while... meaning my human home." She said in that same soft tone that was just for him.
Bartimas: He sighs softly as she speaks, managing a warm enough smile, good natured at the teasing. He makes his order of two coffees, passing her one when they have them and leading her over to sit down in one of the corner booths. He says simply "That must be emotional for you... it.." he sighs and says "In a way, I envy you for having a home to remember, perhaps to visit such as recently... I... Can't remember where I was born, let alone where it was, where i was raised... Everything loses a frame of reference when you are blind... But perhaps having lost it, having had it before might be worse..' He pauses, then murmurs 'Im babbling, I apologize... We are here to catch up, not sink into depression.." he smiles wryly -d-
Ursula Wolfe:: She smiled as she relaxed into her seat, toying with the coffee he had handed her before she let off a soft laugh. "I won't lie, I did the old lurking thing, watched my mother, my father... my brother... he looked so good and yet..." She sighed softly "I can tell he misses me. I saw my mother and aunt doing a spell or two... but the main reason i went back was because I wanted to pick up Ray and Jetsom..."
Bartimas: He tilts his head slightly, listening as she speaks. He mimes taking a sip of his beverage now and then, although her more keen senses would show he is merely concealing his breathing in of the pleasant smell of the coffee. He settles back into his seat carefully, looking thoughtful as he says "I assume... Some sort of keepsakes? Pets? Or stuffed animals?" in a simple question -d-
