"--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--"
Kaelyn: * Kaelyn used her key to twist the lock open and stepped into the house. She was instantly greeted with the sight of her Papi and some woman she didn't know. She assumed it was his wife. She had seen Mortll before and that wasn't her. However, she was very skeptical at the time being and favored a few steps towards Doc, til she was pretty much connected to him. "Hi...."Cytherea: * Cytherea had just been chatting to Doc about the girl she was to meet; her name, her likes, dislikes. Favorite food, so forth. Doc had gotten rather irritated to say the least. He often did with her rambling, so when the person in question made an appearance, Cytherea offering a warm smile, noticing how skittish she was at first. ''Hi, you must be Doc's grandchild.'' she said it, though it was odd. Doc, a grandfather. Though that was neither the time or place. ''I'm Aurora. His wife.''
Kaelyn: * Kaelyn looked the woman over a moment as she stood partially behind Doc. He had mentioned this woman to her multiple times. She was probably ok, but she did not know her. "I guess so, kind of sort of. Since Victor is kind of a dad thing and he married Kenlie so that makes her a kind of mom thing and Papi is her sire so I guess he's kind of grandfather thing...that's weird. No, he's just Papi Charlie. And I'm Chubchub...well he calls me that. I'm Kaelyn. You can call me Kaelyn or Kae." She tended to ramble once she started speaking. And once they started to get to know each other, she would -really- start her rambling. "He picked my body. He likes it. I died. So I needed a new one.....It's nice to meet you, Aurora...like the Princess!"
Doc: "Oh for gods sake.. do not give her ideas Chubchub.. A princess? No." Doc tried to move so that Chubchub and the Ball and Chain could see each other properly and speak, but every time he moved, Chubchub stayed glued to him. Deciding to see if he could irk Cytherea, he added "And I did pick out her body.. I do like it.. " He kissed the top of Chubchub's head, as though he did it all the time.. when in truth he never had before.
Cytherea: * Cytherea inhaled deeply, her smile withering at Doc's words and in place came the mask she'd been so accustomed to wearing around him now. Blank. ''Indeed, I'm not like the princess, Kaelyn. But that was nice of you to say.'' the you emphasized, implying Doc could never offer such kindness. ''Mm,'' a retort lingered on her lips, how he liked the young ones. But she killed it. This was not the time for their snips. ''It's a beautiful body.'' she offered, before turning and disappearing into the kitchen, he wouldn't see the darkness in her eyes. She knew what he was playing at, but she wouldn't be goaded in front of the child. If he followed, she pitied him.
Doc: * Doc smirked. He recognized that look, muffin indeed. That's what she gets for calling him.. 'muffin'. Now he would behave. Maybe. Probably. Most likely. He took Chubchub by the hand and led her to the sofa, pushed her down in a seated position. "Ok.. Movies. Star Trek." He looked at her. No reaction. "Ok.. The Hobbit." Nothing. "hmmm Fine.. the woman at the store said you would definitely like 'Pitch Perfect.'"
Cytherea: * Cytherea was furious, she was sick of his games and finely pointed attacks. But what had she expected? Doc didn't like her she concluded. He'd not once shown otherwise since she'd been here. Fine. It made her settle on her next movement, she opened the drawer that Cat had told her it would be in, and retrieved some drugs. What it was, she knew not, Cat had acquired it and she'd not once asked. She tore open the bag and tipped some, then all of it into Doc's glass of blood. It would be tasteless she was informed, he wouldn't know, there would be no way. He wanted to play games, well ******* fine then. She cut a slice of cake and grabbed Doc's drink, before returning to the room. She heard his last words. Pitch perfect. Dear god, please no. Why. Though she'd stay, just to see Doc fall. She plastered a sickly sweet smile on her face as she neared them, holding out the drink to Doc, like an olive branch. ''Some blood, muffin?'' she drawled, setting the cake for Kaelyn.
Doc: * Doc who had gotten his revenge, was perfectly fine now. He even gave her a genuine smile. "Thanks Sweet cheeks." He accepted the proffered glass, raised it to his lip but then stopped and set it down. "I forgot!.. " He stood and went to bathroom and returned with a trash can. He sat in on the floor by Chubchub, "In guess you have to regurgitate." then he looked at Cyth, "No insult to you Sweet Cheeks.. She doesn't know if she can eat or not.. this is 'just in case' she cant."
Cytherea: * Cytherea had so intently been waiting for that glass to sweep across the softness of his lips, to allow the liquid to pass through his throat and to settle in his stomach, letting her scheme hatch so beautifully. But in true Doc style, he didn't let that go to plan. A curse was swallowed as he up and went, returning with the trash can. What.. was he about to insult- no. Ah. That made a lot of sense. ''No. That's fine. Here, let me braid your hair just in case you do need to be sick.'' she said softly, the mask slipping for a brief moment as she walked behind the sweet girl, weaving and twisting the hair gently until a braid slithered down her back. ''Excuse me for a moment, I need to get something from the kitchen,'' she said, not bothering to look at Doc as she went once more.
Doc: * Doc shrugged, as she left, and eyed Chubchub's hair, "That works. But just so we are clear.. " He gave her meaningful heartfelt look, "I would have held your hair for you" He nodded solemnly and then picked up his glass and drank about a third of if before setting it back down. He then looked at Chubchub, leaning over and whispering, "She seem tense to you?"
Cytherea: * Cytherea was only gone a few moments before she emerged, the aroma would probably hit Doc's senses first, a cheese burger, dripping with grease, sauce and some onions. Cytherea exhaled a moan of euphoria as she bit into the delicious food. She settled into a single seat, not too far from Doc, so he could get a good eye full. In the other hand was a tumbler of whiskey, which she drank, allowing it to wash away any food from her throat. ''God, it's almost as good as sex. Almost.'' she breathed, noticing that Doc had drank some of the blood. A smile curved her lips then, oh, this would be good. ''Would you like some, muffin?'' she turned to look at him sweetly, holding the burger out.
Doc: * Doc shrugged apathetically, "No.. but thank you. I have found I don't really miss it. I still enjoy the smell of coffee, but food. Don't miss it at all. But go ahead and enjoy." He wasn't lying. He had gotten over food. After all it had been almost three years, he have more cravings to feed from a human than he had cravings for food. Truth be told, the smell of some food turned his stomach as it were. Doc belatedly remembered, "Maybe Chubchub might want to try.. everything but the alcohol.. "
Cytherea: * Cytherea noted his reaction. Food, not so much. But drink, he had missed, she recalled that much. It didn't matter though, she was still enjoying the burger. When he mentioned Kae, she broke some off and set it beside the cake she'd prepared. The alcohol remained in her hand, almost completely gone now. ''So, how are you feeling Doc?'' she inquired as she ate and drank, it seemed so blasé, he wouldn't know her true intentions for inquiring.
Doc: * Doc quirked an eyebrow, "I just told you.. it doesn't bother me, eat all you want. I feel fine.. I feel great.. Alright. I am seriously not trying to guilt you." He actually was feeling fine. He was waiting for Chubchub to decide which movie. He personally was hoping she would pick Star Trek. But it was her night.. and by god she was going to enjoy it! He smiled at both of them.
Cytherea: * Cytherea ''I was actually referring to how you were feeling in general, not this.'' she motioned to the dwindling bits of her burger. Cytherea's gaze diverted from Doc, to the wall as she contemplated how this could turn out. Doc would either distress into a complete mess, perhaps even happy. Laughing. A grimace shadowed across her face at the thought, before she thought of the next option. Death. Blood. Gore. Maybe he'd even kill her. Well. That would end well she thought. If that happened, the first thing she'd do is shove Kaelyn out the door and cut Doc's leg off. He couldn't do much damage if he was legless.
Doc: * Doc remained skeptical, he was being nice. Why is she worried about how He feels? He looked at Chubchub, "Am I being rude? Tell me the truth.. if I am, I wont be angry. I will merely try harder not be asshole. So tell me the truth." He picked up his glass and drained it. "So..?"
Cytherea: * Cytherea was torn from her thoughts as she heard his words, it caused a soaring flame of guilt to erupt through her body. Oh god. He was going to kill her if he found out. IF. It could have been something else. And he felt bad now, for being an asshole. Her lips twisted as she tried to think of the appropriate response. ''You aren't. I was just asking, I'm your wife. I like to know how you are doing, you know.'' she muttered, that guilt now settled in her stomach, weighing her down. But it was too late now, she'd have to ride this out.
Doc: * Doc leaned over and up against Chubchub, whispering, "She definitely got the worst end of this marriage." He nodded. Then instead of sitting back up, he contentedly leaned against Chubchub, then he put his arm around her. Yes he was being uncharacteristically affectionate. He even found it odd himself, but he brushed it off. "Which movie do you want to watch Cyth..?" He hadn't called her Cyth to her face, since she had been back in town. She was always Cytherea. The full formal pronunciation. But this time he unknowingly called her by the shortened name he used for her during happier times.
