Prudence: * text from Pru * Heya, Nathaniel. Ya rested and saved up some energy?
Nathaniel: *picks up his phone and answers back* I am. You?
Prudence: * Text from Prudence. * Been resting all night for this. Meet me at the cemetery north of the abandoned Church in Cherrydale? Ya know the one?
Nathaniel: *texts her* Yes i know the one. I will meet you there.
Prudence: * Reply * Sweet! Cya soon!
Nathaniel: *replies after he got there* Did you go back to sleep? Or just being slow. *he might pay for that comment later*
Prudence: Prudence was leaning up against a tree in the cemetery when she got a text from him. She read it, laughed and shook her head before peering around the tree to see him. She moves around the tree, revealing her clothing. She's dressed pretty casual, dark denim washed jeans, black, thigh high boots and a black, one sleeved shirt. She is also wearing a large smile as she approaches him. "Ya know, the last person that called me slow, got one to the heart." She laughed before stopping in front of him. "I'm glad ya came."
Nathaniel: Turning toward her laugh he had to smile. His eyes looked over her and nodded. "I'm glad I came too. Is that why you wanted me to be here? So you could shoot me in the heart and not have to drag my body here afterwards?"
Prudence: A quirky smile fell on her lips at his words before her eyes swept up the length of his frame. "Now that ya mention it..." She trailed off with a devious smile before shaking her head. "This place has a lot of open space for what we're going to do." The redhead pulled out a bright yellow and orange piece of plastic, her lips still in a smile before she talked. "Don't worry though, I'll be gentle with ya. Ever play with one of these?" She pointed the gun at him and shot him smack dab in the left shoulder. "Nerf gun?"
Nathaniel: Noticing her checking him out he asked. "Would you like me to turn? Want to check out my ***?" asking as he slowly turned, a smirk on his face only to get the nerf bullet to his shoulder. "I've been known to use those dangerous plastic weapons. They are good to use to wake people up."
Prudence: As he turned, she took aim at his ***, reloaded, and made a shot for it with the same gun again. "Ya turned too fast. But I'm sure I'll see a lot more of it, when we get to the idea of the night. There's seven of these types of guns lying around somewhere in the cemetery. Two sets of each. Ya can only use a gun once." She looked at him to see if he was following her so far. "Person who gets the most kill shots with each type of gun, wins. Kill shots are anywhere on the head and chest or heart area. Ya got it?" She tossed him the Reflex 1X that she had used to shoot him twice, before taking a step back. "My thrall put the guns out, so I don't know where a single one of them are at either. So fair shot to the both of us that way."
Nathaniel: "Ok. So seven sets of two guns. Each with one bullet. We get seven shots each? Does that *** shot count as one of yours?" Turning the gun over in his hands he check it out. Then cut his eyes back to hers. "Sounds easy enough I guess. Just so you know, I will probably lose. Not a very good aim, but I do plan to at least get one shot on you."
Prudence: Her eyes lit up with amusement before she shook her head and tossed him a nerf dart to refill the gun she gave him. "Nope. I plan on putting seven more darts on the *** of yours tonight." She winked at him before stepping back again, a devious look still on her features. "And it's not about winning or losing tonight. It's about progression." She blew him a kiss before zipping off, shouting, "kiss for good luck, handsome!"
Nathaniel: Catching the nerf dart he loaded the gun then gave chase in the direction she had taken off in. "That was the good luck kiss I get? I thought I would get something with a little more substance." He liked this game.
Prudence: She heard his retort, but ignored it for the time being as Prudence decided to take cover and use a larger gravestone for cover as she slid open her cellphone and shot him a text. * Maybe if you make it worth my while, I'll make it worth yours. * She hit send, stuffed the phone in her back pocket and decided to bunker down and wait for him to pass her before she went to find her own gun.
Nathaniel: Reading the text message he chuckled low and kept walking. Keeping an eye out for her tracks or any sign of her. He made note of a second set of guns laying beside a set of tombstones. Once he used this one he would come back for one of those. "Oh Pru... come out and let me shoot you."
Prudence: If he was paying attention, he might have heard the sound of a phone vibrating against a gravestone not far from where he was before it was silenced as quickly as a person could silence it. She moved, revealing her position as Prudence beelined for another, larger stone and then rolled to the one next to it. Her thrall had hidden the guns just about anywhere and so far, Prudence hadn't found one. Yet.
Nathaniel: Hearing the vibrating he smiled and turned toward it, seeing her move and duck behind another gravestone. "Next time you might cut that off? Leave it behind even." Inching closer he moved behind a gravestone close to hers and waited for her to make another move.
Prudence: The redhead peeked around the gravestone she was hiding behind to see where he went to. When she wasn't seen, Prudence moved to a new location, which was behind the tree she had been standing against while she waited for Nathaniel to arrive. She did a quick look around both sides of the tree to see if she could find any guns and there, she finally found the set he had spotted a while ago. She made her move, running as fast as she could without the assistance of her natural killer abilities. This would leave her out in the open, but she didn't want to be a sitting duck either.
Nathaniel: Nathaniel saw the redhead pop up and take off at a run. He was after her in less than a heartbeat. Closer and closer he got until he was just a few feet away from her. He knew she was going after the guns he had spotted just a few minutes ago. If she made it to them... he would be in trouble. She was to good of a shot. So he did what he could. Brought his gun up and shot at her. Watching it sail toward her, he didn't wait to see if it hit. Instead automatically turned to his left to get the hell out of there before she got her hands on the gun.
Prudence: She could hear him chasing after her and it made her laugh. She looked back at him for just a second to see where he was, or how close he was before he took a shot. She moved slightly to the left to avoid being hit, but managed to get hit in her right calf anyways at just about the time she grabbed a gun. When she turned back, he was gone and the woman was chasing him, or at least the direction she has just seen him in. "That's not the best you've got is it?" She was actually impressed he managed to shoot her, no matter where the dart landed, but wasn't going to let him know that. Yet.
Nathaniel: Moving quickly from one stone to the next he managed to stay hidden from sight for a few minutes. Eyes on the look out for her and the guns. Hiding behind one he pulled out his phone. "Next time maybe we should find something bigger to hide behind. I'm too big a man to be trying to hide behind these little stones."
Prudence: With one gun loaded, Prudence circled back to where a soft glow of light was seen from somewhere. She assumed (maybe incorrectly) that it was coming from him, as she hadn't seen any other people in the cemetery with them. The worst she would do was shoot a stranger with a nerf dart and get an earful of swears and threats. Never mind that she would be a dart short too. Prudence wasn't going to let that stop her. She moved quicker than before thanks to the abilities she had been blessed with when she had been sired, pounced on the headstone and took aim downwards with a laugh before she even saw the target. Her phone buzzed at about the same time, indicating she had a message, so as she ran, the redhead took the phone out of her pocket, read the text and smiled. No matter how the night ended, she was having fun and would do this again with him if he was interested.
Nathaniel: There she was. He took off running toward the sound. Rounded the corner of a cement angel. "Now I got you." And then he pulled the trigger of the nerf gun he had tripped over moments before, hidden under a small pile of leaves. Instead of Pru though, it was some naked blonde straddling the lap of a man leaning against the statue. On the plus side he got the woman in the side of the head. The down side they both started screeching at him. Damn, should a mans voice be that shrill? Grinning he backed away from them. Maybe she would have heard them and come to investigate.
Prudence: There was screeching somewhere to her left and that sort of surprised her. Prudence believed it was just the two of them in this place. The two of many that was that could still walk around anyways. On her way to the sound, another weapon was found. This one seemed to be more like a compress bow of sorts, but nerf style. She grabbed it, and darted for the sound, running as fast as she could, seeing Nathaniel backing away from something. She was sure he wasn't screaming like that, because there were two different voices, so what had he done? She didn't stop running, not until Prudence was next to him to see what it was he came across and then she laughed. Mostly at all the things being said to Nathaniel. Like it was his fault they got caught doing the dirty. She raised the bow and took aim at the more vocal of the two; the male, popping him in the cheek with a dart. She tagged the side of Nathaniel's arm with a laugh, pressed a kiss to his cheek and was off again before he could attempt to stop her.
Nathaniel: He was surprised to see Pru standing beside him in the few seconds after the screeches started. In a way he can't say that he blamed her. Something that loud coming out of a man was something you needed to see to believe. When she shot the man in the face he bent over laughing at the outrage on the mans face. Raising back up he was surprised to feel her press a kiss to his cheek. When he turned to grab her, she had already took off running. "Damn it you're quick woman." Then ignoring the two on the ground, he took off. Not to find her at the moment, but to find another nerf gun. Two had been used already so only 5 left.
Prudence: Prudence took refuge behind a familial chamber before tugging out her phone to see what he had texted before. When she read it, she laughed a little and nodded her head, only to agree. Maybe he was at a pretty big disadvantage. Even she was too tall to hide behind some gravestones. 'Next time you can pick the location, sound fair?' She hit send, stuffed her phone away and listened to where he was through the use of his phone. She didn't have a gun yet, but it was always good to know where ones 'enemy' was at and the direction they were coming from.
Nathaniel: Nathaniel searched the ground, searched holes in trees, looked every where. "Where in the hell could those guns be." It was more of a statement than a question whispered to himself. The time he was looking he also kept an ear open for Pru to jump him. Waiting to feel the nerf bullet pop him in the skull. His phone buzzed in his pocket and typed out a message back to her. "Oh, you will have tons of fun then. Just remember that you said I could pick. Are you sure she hid seven?" Hitting send he slipped the phone back into his pocket and went back to his scavenger hunt for a gun.
Prudence: 'There's seven. I'm sure of it.' Pru replied as she looked around for another gun. Sitting here wasn't going to get it, so she moved to a new location and that's when she spotted it. Two guns side by side under a stone bench that was actually someone's gravestone. "Weird." Prudence's nose wrinkled. "Morbid." The idea of someone sitting right above a dead person's head was just a little weird for her and she read about some weird **** before with some crime scenes she had to analyze or take apart for papers or scenarios. With the gun collected, Prudence moved away from the stone bench to find a new location. A tree. She started climbing up a tree; gun in the belt of her jeans as she climbed the branches as quickly and as quietly as she could as she waited for Nathaniel to pass by.
Nathaniel: It had been five minutes since he heard anything from her besides the text she had sent. He was getting a little jumpy just waiting for her to come out. That girl hid those guns a little to well. Even as he thought that he saw one gun laying under a bench. He couldn't believe his luck. Going over he bent to pick it up. Checking it to make sure it was loaded he looked around. There was only one in this location, that meant that Pru had one of her own now. Unless it was the one she fired at the mans face.
A soft rattle of leaves sounded to his right. Any other time he wouldn't have even noticed, but being hunted... even with just a nerf gun had him jumping at every little sound. He slowly walked over to the tree and looked up. Then he smiled. He saw a cute little *** climbing up in the tree. Aiming with his gun he pulled the trigger and hit her right in the ***. "Hello Prudence. I have to say I like the view."
Prudence: The redhead hadn't gone too far up the tree, just a couple of branches when she felt something hit her butt and bounce off it. Not expecting to have been hit with something while she tried to be sneaky, Prudence let go of the branch her right hand had and dangled from another with her left. She looked down to see Nathaniel and cackled softly at his words before she let go of the branch and landed on the balls of her feet, not far from where he stood. "That wasn't a kill shot." She stuck her tongue out as her right hand grabbed her gun, lifted it to his chest and pressed the trigger.
Nathaniel: "Are you sure that wasn't a kill shot? I bet it would have hurt like hell." When she fired the little gun and it hit him in the chest, Nathaniel grabbed his chest, spun around in a circle, stumbled a few steps and fell over. Just like he had seen in cartoons when he was young. He had to admit it was stupid of him to have stuck around while she hopped out of the tree, but he had enjoyed the view and it had made him a little stupid. "You got me when I wasn't expecting it. Isn't there a rule about having to wait thirty seconds so I can get away after shooting you?"
