I walked in fear, rushing past, turning behind me, the scents of the people passing me filling my nose, my fangs aching, my stomach growling. I was confused and lost, not knowing where I was. I rushed past the alleys and felt strength going through my thin muscles. I remembered a lot of blood and that was all. I knew my name, my age, my gender, but that was all. That was it. I couldn't recall anything else.
My name is Aria and I'm 16 and I'm a girl
My name is Aria and i'm 16 and I'm a girl
I kept on repeating it in my head as I ran into the person in front of me.

"What?"
"What do you mean 'what'?" The red head took a final pull from the fountain cup she had left the theater with and tossed it into the trash as they walked along.
"You didn't like the movie," the smaller woman dressed in gypsy attire remarked in her friend's thoughts. "Don't lie to me. I know that look."
"All I said was the first one was way cooler than the second one, Zo."
"So you didn't like Ultron?" Zodiac looked up at the girl and smiled. She had hit a nerve and was riding it for all it was worth. "I do love James Spader's voice for some odd reason. When things began to go south, I expected him to shout for Denny for backup." her thoughts giggled.
"I didn't say that!" Jennifer almost shouted.
"Hush," The mystic put her finger to her own lips. "Too many out tonight for you to be having an apparent solo conversation with yourself. I told you before, if we out and about have that stupid phone up so you look like you actually talking to someone."
"Fine." She began to reach into her pocket, then stopped. "What's up with her?"
"Her who?" Zodiac looked as Jenn pointed across the street at the girl running as if her life depended on it. She let her senses reach out to the person and shook her head sadly. "Oh lovely. Fledgling. Practically a newborn on the run. Probably confused, disoriented, possibly limited to no memories right now. I swear, if some of us are gonna keep cranking out childers, we need to be involved from square one rather than just turn them and let them figure out the rest. It's just cruel to the newborn and puts the rest of us at risk of being discovered."
"Does that happen a lot?" Jennifer asked her phone.
"Too damn often in my opinion. It happened to me." the mystic frowned deeply as she kept watching.
"So are you going to do something? She is gonna run into someone at this rate. Quite hard." To Jennifer's surprise, Zodiac took a step towards the building and leaned back against it. She joined her, confused. "No intervention? That's strange for you."
"I'm just watching, for now." she fumed. "I am getting tired of cleaning up other people's messes. We'll see what happens and go from there."

I rushed into an alley as I felt the urge to attack someone, my fangs piercing my lips, blooding running down my chin. I hit the wall and fell back, then quickly crawled back into a corner, causing dents where my hands were. I wasn't sure what was going on and I was as sure as hell scared.
I hid my face in between my legs and licked up the blood, my stomach rumbling. THe blood tasted slightly sweet but sour and off, like I wasn't supposed to eat even though the urge was too.
I felt a little better, as if a starving man had finally ate a crumb. I didn't know what I was becoming, I had not known such supernaturals existed.
As if something took control of my body, I stood up, my mind becoming blank. I slowly walked forward shakily, my eyesight becoming sharper, smelling something sweet, like fresh candy. My hands began to shake and I eyed person from person. My mouth began to water.
I lurched forward with a growl to a child towards my right. I pinned her roughly as she screamed and her mother frozen for a second then trying to rip me off. She felt like a fly for some reason.
All I could think of was the blood flowing under her veins, her heart steadily pumping it throughout her body. I heard her blood, like a river, going through her veins in a newfound speed of terror.
What was I doing?
I tried to stop myself as I leaned down to bite her neck ever so slowly, struggling to get off, and unsuccessful.

Amber locked up her store for the night and rubbed the side of her head. The woman had been told that owning her own business would be hard but not this strenuous. Stupid people and ignorant clients. She should just sell them the poisonous plant and let them die on it. Twirling the keys round her index finger before pocketing them as the gothic redhead near glided down the street.
She would have kept going too if it weren't for the scream and she was forced to stop. The human part of her brain demanded she ignore it and keep going; not her fight. But the killer part was curious. Since being turned, her sense of self preservation and right from wrong had been twisted to a point she couldn't recognize. Turning to face the sound she spied the frantic mother and the slowly dying child with.. well that was definitely bad. She'd been taught over and over to feed in secret.
"Hey you! Put the kid down!"
She growled and went into her little purse for the pocket pistol. She didn't want to hurt the feeder but she wouldn't be totally defenseless.

My had snapped around and I growled, throwing myself off.
"I-I don't know what's going on . . . please help me. . . " My plead muffled by my fangs and I gulp.
Confused, not even knowing what was going on, I knew I needed help, but not from whom or where. And I definantly did not want to get killed.
"Please . . . .All I remember is blood. Help me . . " I begged and coughed, before wheezing a breath and gulped.
