Felicity had been away from Harper Rock for a while now. Of course that was nothing new for her. She wanted to stop leaving but it seemed every time she felt set to stay something pulled her away or she disappeared for months. Some of that had to do with her new found abilities and other times it was because she wanted to get away. Perhaps because she felt alone or didn’t feel like herself. Then again she wasn’t even sure she knew who she was anymore. It was time to get answers for herself and time for her to stop running away.
Walking the streets in Harper Rock she looked around. She didn’t have any certain destination in mind. She knew soon she would need to call Jesse and that she would have some serious explaining to do. For now though she would enjoy the night and everything that it had to offer to her. She watched as the people passed her by without even a second glance. Then again she wasn’t dressed to draw attention to herself. She wore a dark pair of blue jeans with a pair of boots, a black jacket and a white tank top underneath. She wasn’t trying to draw attention to herself more than was necessary.
Her eyes darted around the road as she heard some louder voices, nothing was really happening just a few drunk people making fools of themselves. Shaking her head she chuckled to herself. Having just fed that wasn’t an issue for her right now, though the thirst was always there it never really went away from her. She didn’t know if it ever would so she did her best to deal with it. Usually she would have a few blood packs on her but she didn’t tonight. So she would end up needing to feed again soon. No matter right now she would do her best not to think about the blood and just focus on the night, and whatever it may bring.

Re: Enjoying the Night (Open)
There wasn't much for him to explore anymore, he's been doing that for the past months since he's lived here. But night seemed more peaceful at times on the streets, though the crazy drunks tended to annoy him. He would avoid them the best he could so they wouldn't drive him to the point of annoyance. Spring time had come, but the chill of wind still made him shiver. He placed his hands into his jean pockets and walked along quietly down the street in thought to himself.
He just returned back from New York to continue with the business that was back home. Lately he's just been walking the streets to find a building in order to bring his business here and expand, he's found a couple, but not the perfect one. He knew it would take time in order to build it up, to even bring it to Harper Rock. It was a small town, but held quite a few people as he noticed the more he spent time here. And he would hope that it would succeed, if not he would have to continue traveling back and forth from New York and back here.
His phone beeped in his pocket from an email, work, as always. He scanned through it and began to type a response. But he wanted a distraction from the loudness of the drunks, the smell of alcohol that came from the opposite side of the street. Walking and looking at a phone, wasn't such a smart idea as a distraction - even if it was business. He accidentally bumped into someone causing him to look up from his phone to apologize. The woman caught his attention away from the email. "I'm sorry, Miss. Clearly I wasn't paying attention." He gave a gentle, small apologetic, flash of a grin. He placed his cellular device back in his jean pockets - he would reply later on.

Re: Enjoying the Night (Open)
The local pub, loud, crowded and full of drunks – It was the best place for business to be handled discreetly. No one really paid attention to what was happening, bar brawls could offer some amusement and it was easy to spot odd ones out of the crowd if something was not right. Niklaus had concluded some important piece of business, namely of the Paladin nature and as always, he wasn’t too impatient to rush out right after. Glancing across the crowd to see if he spotted anyone familiar, a friend, acquaintance or foe, who cared, but the night didn’t seem like it was going to be so fruitful just yet.
The male had recently re-integrated Harper Rock as his domicile and it was going great, he made some new acquaintances and friends, caught up with some of his old time buddies and the night seemed still young to head straight home already. After business should come pleasure, after all, right? Mentally playing a little game of his own – ‘Spot the supernatural creatures’ as he headed out, glancing from face to face to try to bust the supernatural beings from their looks and demeanour, deciding to walk his way to the Metronome – a place he was sure would pack more familiar faces. The loud voices and jeering caught his attention as well, seemingly a group of drunken individuals laughing amongst themselves.
A finger instinctively brushed across the grip of his holstered handgun, fixing his jacket to cover the firearm better before deciding there really was nothing else to it. Oh, how he wished things were more than what they actually were, maybe a group of those supposedly vampire hunters. It had been a while since he last saw some street action – hell, even Nikolae got shot by a hunter or so a while back, so jealous. Killers needed to have constant doses of violence to stay focused and sane, it seemed. His wandering mind momentarily causing him to skip what was directly in front of him. The woman north of him had stopped in mid-track, apparently having bumped into someone or gotten bumped into but reflexes always beat the unexpected. There was not going to be a sandwich. “Watch out” he called out to the female, a hand instinctively having shot forward to secure down onto her shoulder to keep her from falling back against him or worse, down on the dirty floor from her momentarily disturbed balance. “You a’ight there, dear?” he inquired, looking from her and towards the other male. “Second time, this is happening, Niklaus”, he thought to himself, mildly amused. He did have a rather amusing encounter recently when Eureka bumped into some poor girl and then proceeded to torment her, which then quickly turned into a Dragomir party with Nikolae and his childe.

Re: Enjoying the Night (Open)
Felicity hadn’t been paying much attention to what was in front of her or she would have seen the male that bumped directly into her, she heard the warning but she didn’t react in enough time to do anything about it. Instead she was ripped from her thoughts, she probably would have fallen had it not been for the hand that landed on her shoulder just in time. Finding her balance she looked between the two now standing with her. From the male who had bumped into her and the male who had kept her from falling. She offered them both a smile as she stood up on her own now.
”It’s alright” She told the one who had bumped into her. Looking back to the other male she smiled and offered a nod to him. ”Thank you for keeping me from falling, I’m alright.” She smiled again. Her tone was light and happy. Rarely was Felicity not happy or rarely did she show it if she wasn’t. She preferred to be helping people not asking for the help though she was learning sometimes you needed help. This situation was the perfect example of that.
Sure it wasn’t life or death but kindness of others was well received especially from her. ”I’m Felicity, may I get your names?” She asked to the both of them, finding that same courage she had her first night in Harper Rock. She wasn’t good at meeting new people, which should be normal for her seeing as she was a psychologist, however it was different meeting someone in her office to help them versus out on her own. For a while she had allowed that fear to get the best of her but things were changing now, they had to change now.

Re: Enjoying the Night (Open)
Niklaus usually had little to no issue at making conversation, meeting people had always been easy for him – probably one of the reasons why Chad initially wanted him to throw parties and gatherings for the Worthington lineage at the very beginning. He was kind of the social coordinator for quite a while and that helped in controlling his Killer temper eventually, especially when dealing with problematic individuals. But there were no doubts that said temper could still get the best of him in some particular scenarios.
He would have introduced him but Felicity beat him to that, offering a friendly smile in return as he extended a hand out to her for a handshake. “You're welcome and, pleasure to meet you, Felicity. I’m Niklaus” he replied. He did try going 100% hermit a while back and that was more problematic really, he then figured that meeting new people and staying social and active was best for his sanity. “I don’t think I've seen you around here before. Are you visiting or a resident here?” he inquired, it was WAY too soon to fling vampire-related questions like “Who is your sire?” but he did somewhat sensed that she was an undead, like him. It was a feeling he found hard to describe, definitely something he wanted to understand better - also one of the reasons he started getting interested in rituals.
Though possessing fadewalking capabilities and seeing spirits, Niklaus had never dabbled much into the ‘spiritual’ side of being a vampire. He visited the shadow realm only once, a long time ago, mostly due to circumstances rather than just deciding to take a trip there. He also both heard of those tales and seen proof of how spirits and what not could manage to torment some vampires who ventured a little too far – which may have been one of the reasons why he preferred not to risk getting too curious, he needed to have a clear mind 24/7 because of who he was and what he did. No emotional breakdowns, no depression episodes, no guilt and no regret – He believed that you needed to trust yourself and your capabilities before you could trust a person. Trust yourself and you will succeed in your endeavours, be able to accept help from others and you may even go a step further. He swore he would never let his trust issues get the best of him.
“If you’re heading somewhere, I would love to escort you there, Felicity” he offered looking in the direction of the drunken men who were passing them by on the other side of the street.

Re: Enjoying the Night (Open)
It was by complete accident, and he was hoping to apologize himself until another came in, his mouth closing then. Not only was he going to apologize, but as well introduce himself. It wouldn't be bad to make friends by running into them first, it was usually how some people met. It took him a while to realize she asked his name too when he caught her glance. It took him by complete surprise. He glanced at the male that had caught her, then to the blonde. "Forsyth." He said quietly to introduce himself, after a few minutes past.
The other man seemed intended to get to know her more, though he wouldn't mind either. He needed to somehow meet people, and stop keeping to himself in the apartment. Should he head back in the direction he was going? Back home, or should he see if anything would be noticed by his words. Now that he knew her name, he would keep it, even her features committed to memory. If they ever ran into each other again, no pun intended, he would remember her and not make such a fool of himself.
He let a smile come across his face, though it was brief, never reaching his grey eyes. "Again, I do apologize, Felicity." His words came out finally, feeling as though he would let the two talk, since the other was so focused on her. He chuckled quietly - a shake of his head - and decided to talk in the direction he was going either way before they bumped into each other. If she called him back, he would be ears and stop, but for now he walked with ignoring the sound of his buzzing phone in his pocket.
