Killing Time (Harvey)

Kira was bored out of her mind. She laid on the sofa, staring up at the cats, staring down at her. She suppose they were bored too. She was very cat like, they needed something to play with and so did she. She sat up and was greeted to the dogs looking at her as well. "I'm not here to entertain you." she muttered. She got up, opening the front door, letting the dogs out to play. She went back to the sofa, moving it aside and eyed the treasure trove of cat toys that got lost under it. "Have fun." she said with a shake of her head. She gave them a pet before heading out the door. She left the animal door open for the dogs to go back inside when they had enough which the smaller of the dogs, Himish would get cold and tire out before Tucker.
As she walked through the streets, she didn't feel interested in hunting gangsters or creatures. She wanted something different but that meant contacting Dru to find some kind of evil human, she really should just learn how to hack but it just wasn't her thing.
She sighed softly, there was always hanging out at the club and see if any guys slip up with trying to drug a girl, those were in her realm of not worth letting them live category. She kept walking without any place in mind, crime tended to just happen in this town, roaming endlessly was always an option.
Kira was walking past someone reading a newspaper, they held no interest for her until she saw a headline. There was a military man who is assumed to be in hiding after trying to go home. She peered closer, to the point the man reading it looked up.
"Something you're interested in, sweetheart?" the man asked.
Kira blinked, looking up at him. "Only the news." she said, taking a dagger and simply cut out the article she wanted and walked off, leaving the man confused and happy not to be stabbed.
She sat down on a bench, looking over the article. It said he had done horrible things, including killing civilians. They claimed a lot of things in the article, saying it had to be a lie or a cover up that he was honorably discharged. She leaned back, was the media to be trusted? Hmm, again, hacking would be useful right about now. The paper gave a name and a photo so it should be easier to find out more information. She wondered what a simple internet search would bring up. She closed her eyes, using her mind to look it up but only found more of the same information. She opened her eyes, folding the paper up. The whole group sounded bad but it was unlikely to find them, even this man in the area and she wasn't about to go hunting outside the city.
Kira huffed, and back to square one, who to kill.
