Win a 1st Gen Slot [Ended]
Posted: 04 Feb 2015, 17:35
This competition has ended with no winners, unfortunately, as nobody made the cut. We are restarting the competition on another thread. All referrals you made during the duration of this competition (since the original date of this post) will still count towards you winning the new competition.
We're putting a first generation slot up for grabs in this competition, plus we're throwing in a bonus 50 karma for both the winner and the runner up of the competition! The one lucky winner will have a unique chance to create a first generation vampire character and start an entirely new clan and line.
To win, you'll need to bring in the highest number of new and active roleplayers over a 2 month period. You'll be using either your sire link or referral link to find brand new players of the game and get them active in the roleplaying community. You can use your referral links anywhere that you have permission to post. Bring in your friends, players of other roleplaying games, or post on other forums / sites (as long as it's within the rules of the site in question). Feel free to get creative with your recruiting, but do not spam links without permission.
Remember, only roleplayers count, so quality might win over quantity on this occasion. The new players will need to have posted forum roleplay at least 10 times by the time the competition ends, and anyone who has not will not count towards your total referrals.
As for the 1st generation vampire character, the winner will be playing a pre-holocaust vampire who has only just managed to escape the shadow realm. They will be between 250 and 400 years old, but are otherwise yours to roleplay however you wish. You may invent their personality, their history, their looks, etc. This character will also start on level 25, if you wish, giving them a head start.
Remember, if you don't win you're still going to gain 5 karma and 2000 EXP for every new player you bring in who reaches level 10, so it's worth a try!
The competition starts at the time of this post and ends exactly 2 months after (April the 4th).
Note: This competition will be monitored VERY closely to prevent cheating. Your referrals must be new to the game, and not alts.
