--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
Mordechai: The tall killer sat silently in the corner of the High Noon Saloon office. It was time for another motorcycle lesson for Pru, and he was waiting for her to finish up the evenings paperwork. He sat with the silent immobility of an accomplished sniper, as tho waiting for the perfect shot. As Pru began to shuffle the papers as if finished his deep bass growled out, resonating in the small office. "So what is up with you and the Dragomir Azraeth?"
Prudence: She was doing work, ordering things and deep in paper work when she heard his voice. She looked up and just gave him a blank stare with a roll of her shoulders. "Sorry, what? What am I ordering?" Prudence obviously didn't hear what he said, being distracted by this ordering business. Running a business sucked balls. Big time.
Mordechai: A smile tugged at his lips as his eyes ran over the distracted red head and the desk full of paper work. "You need a secretary. I am not sure if you are ordering him, but the question was, 'what is up with you and the Dragomir Azraeth' ''
Prudence: Prudence put the paper work aside and nodded her head. A secretary. Did businesses like this have that? It was a good suggestion. "Know anyone?" She asked before Prudence frowned at the question. "Uhh, nothing. What does that mean?"
Mordechai: "I am sure i could find you one, I have a very talented one working at midnight for me, she may have a friend" Pausing he chose his words carefully, "When you are near him, you seem, preoccupied" Thinking a bit more he continued, "I was surprised when you invited us to 'meet' them the other night."
Prudence: She smiles at him gratefully before biting down on her lower lip. "Uhh, nothing. I don't think." She shrugged again. "What do ya know about DoD and Superbia?"
Mordechai: The killer cocked an eyebrow at the question, "A little. You invited me into it, to help you with the fighting. Superbia was in overall charge, you handled the military aspects."
Prudence: She nodded her head. "And that's all you know about it and her?"
Mordechai: "I know what I saw, what I am not sure of is what you are looking for." Giving her his full attention now he queried, "You were one of the head people, you know all of it, what is it you need me to tell you?"
Prudence: "That's just it. I don't know all of it or any of it. Just what people have told me." She frowned. "There's spaces in my head, CC said. Things are missing."
Mordechai: A tinge of worry crossed Mordechai's face. Looking his friend straight in the eye, he studied her for a moment, "I have the abilities of the ones you call 'mind rapers'. With your permission, I can look, and ascertain. I do not trust anything CC says...."
Prudence: Prudence nodded her head. "Go ahead. He already knows too. He said things I supposedly should know, but I don't." She waved a hand for him to take a look.
Mordechai: Closing his eyes the killer reached out, slipping inside her mind. This was always an intimate action, the melding of minds, but he had no wish to cause her discomfort from him knowing her secrets, and as such did not look closely at any memories. Just carefully skimming the edges of them as he slid deeper and deeper inside her psyche. Month after month he slipped deeper, seeing no inconsistencies. Suddenly he paused, he was almost a year deep, some memories were frayed, she didn't remember them clearly, but there were also blank spots. Spots with nothing, almost surgically opened spaces where nothing existed. This was the timeframe, DoD at its height, and she remembered nothing. Carefully so as not to alter anything, Mordechai worked his way to the surface and slipped out of her mind. His eyes opened, focusing on her, "She told the truth" Shaking his head slightly he continued, "But it is not as though you forgot, they are gone as if they never were, just blank spots."
Prudence: "See?" She shrugged her shoulders. "So I always get the whole what DoD was and who Superbia was, but that's as far as I get. But they said we were close. When he was a she." Prudence frowned and pushed away from the desk with a sigh. "Someone should know something about that if it's true,. right?"
Mordechai: "Yes they should...but i am not sure who to ask, if it has todo with DoD, I would say ask Every, as she stayed the longest, trying to make it work, when Superbia disappeared... but if it has to do with your personal relationship, maybe talk to kennedy. You never share your personal life with me, but you did talk with CC and her a lot back then. I would not trust CC, she says what benefits her, the truth doesn't matter."
