a meeting of minds

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
Mordechai: Mordechai leaned quietly against the abandoned factory, he had used the drafting bench inside to fashion more smoke bombs, and as he did his mind had wandered. He analyzed how the team raid, and how they had done. Lorelai had run low on ears. It hadn't been a real problem as he always kept spares with him, but it had given him pause. She was newly turned, and might not have the resources and contacts to acquire the ingredients needed. He already supplied a few ritualist with assets he had relocated, he could still take on one more. She was a telepath, but many did not like mind to mind speech so he used TtT...Thought to Text, and fired a message off to her *text* Lorelai, I am beginning a scavenger run, are there any ingredients, of which you require a supply?
Lorelai: Lorelai had just retrieved a relic she’d learned about over the internet when the message came through. She turned the thing over inn her hands as she considered the question. Did she need anything? The relic stole her attention. It looked like one she’d given Pru but she couldn’t be sure. She’d probably give it to Levi if it was like the one shed given Pru a while back. She didn’t recall the name of it. The names didn’t matter. *tele* I don’t believe I need anything thank you. I don’t really do much of anything that would require me needing anything.
Mordechai: The message entered his mind, and he slipped his phone away, instead going mind to mind, it was so much easier. *tele* "I had remembered you running short on ears and was just checking, I often supply oils, chems, and such to a few friends that dabble in rituals. They say it is hard to find some of these items in quantity. So i was just offering my services"
Lorelai: *tele* Oh. Yes. Zombie ears are always useful. It is those that I use in the raids. I really only do the open door ritual as I have little use for anything else. Thank you for the offer.
Mordechai: Mordechai nodded to himself, he still had marie flitting around Corvidae with her new guns, they would have a good stock of ears soon *tele* "Ears will be take care of, I must have misunderstood Pru when she said you specialized in rituals"
Lorelai: *tele* Oh no. I do. I mean. I can. I’m extremely good at them. I just don’t have much reason to do them outside of the raids. I am currently re-learning how to command the fae to procure items for me. Once I do that, I may require needles and the bones of the creatures in the catacombs. The skeletal ones… But until then. I am concentrating my efforts on erasing the evidence our kind eaves behind. I’m also helping ghosts to move on, daily. I have developed a very good rhythm.
Mordechai: Nodding to himself he realized she spent most of her time hacking, and considered making her a small gift of a few source codes, as he decided that she was refering to ancient zombies. They were probably a little more than marie could handle, but he could make occasional forays when the hunters led him near Cherrydale. Syringes, they littered the floor of the gangland slums everywhere, marie could handle that. *tele* "I will make sure that the items you might need in the future are stockpiled." He paused a moment then continued with a query "Ghosts?" he had seen many things in Harper Rock and wondered if she referred to the spirits that sometime wandered around the city streets.
Lorelai: His reply made her sigh. It wasn’t him being charitable that worried her, she could understand and appreciate that. It was the one word question that made her hang her head, but he deserved a reply. *tele* “I see people’s ghosts. They need things. Help. I send messages to their loved ones and bring them peace of mind.”
Mordechai: Mordechai considered her answer, the immediate thought that went thru his mind was a movie he had once watched, where a little boy had said "I see dead people" to some it may have been funny, and as a human he might have laughed, but he had learned there was often truth behind Hollywood myths. Hell, he was the truth of one myth. *tele* "How do you help them, and how do they speak to you?" the serious intent of his thought rode his words across the city to the young telepath.
Lorelai: Lorelai shrugged but of course he couldn’t see that. *tele* “They mainly want me to tell people things. So I email them. If I can. Or I write notes and leave them for people. Pru doesn’t want me talking to people directly. It might attract unwanted attention.”
Mordechai: The corners of his lips twitched as he remembered meeting Pru as a fledgling, the red head at been instrumental in him becoming who he was, though she could not pick pockets worth a damn, *tele* "Pru is very smart, I learned much from her. She was an important part of making me who I am. It would behoove you to listen to her, and do as she says. She looks young, but has an old soul"
Lorelai: Lorelai nodded. She could agree with that. Pru was actually younger than her but she had a lot more experience, not only in this life, but I her previous one two. In some ways every child in the city had more life experience than Lorelai. Not that she minded. She could never regret her upbringing. *tele* I know. Pru is wonderful. Thank you for thinking of me. I really appreciate it.
Mordechai: Mordechai considered her words, she seemed, eager? to please he wonder at the toll answering to all the ghost of the city cost her. he knew of many that could attribute their demise to him. A thought gnawed at the edge of his awareness. *tele* "They speak to you, but could not others do the actual messenger part? Something to ease the strain you must feel?" He knew that his time spent train with wraiths was very draining to him, and figured ghosts would not be to far removed on the family tree from wraiths.
Lorelai: *tele* “No. I don’t know anyone that could do it. It has to be me. I don’t mind. Honestly. And I get time to rest when Pru and Levi are around. They tend to leave me alone then.”
Mordechai: Mordechai found it odd that only a note delivered by her, or an email sent by her, would suffice. It only seemed logical to him that if the message was sent, it was all the same to the ghost. He didn't voice his reservations tho, it was her life to run as she saw fit. It was interesting tho that she was left alone when she was near Pru. It could be that it had something to do with Pru sireing her, and the nearness calming her blood. He wouldn't know, his sire was the poster child for latchkey mom's. This Levi though, the killer wondered what his connection was. Pru had never introduced him to a 'Levi' *tele* "Who is this Levi you speak of?"
Lorelai: Lorelai doesn’t feel much like talking about Ana, she never does, so she tries to be vague in her reply. *tele* He’s family. He comes in the raid with us. He’s her grandchild. He’s lovely. He’s a nice guy.
Mordechai: Mordechai's forehead creased, did she mean Pru's grandchilde? He had not been in close proximity in the raid to anyone that smelt of Pru. Even lorelai gave no physical clues with her body, but her actions were unmistakable. She belonged to Pru. Could CC have sired another? his kennedy had not mentioned anything to him. must be the other one that was still in the city, *tele* "I have not met him yet, how long ago did...jessica, sire him?"
