--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
* Sence was leaning over the front counter, scribbling away at some numbers as she listened to Theodore restock the shelves while listening to the song on the radio, the tall telepath glancing at the blue eyed man briefly before amber eyes returned to the paper in front of her. "Theo, your music is loud. Turn it down, I cannot concentrate." She spoke, the Spanish accent flourishing over her quick words. Rolling his eyes as he walked away, he smiled when he heard the camera and sensor alarm going off and decided to duck away into the woman's office to let her deal with the customer.
* Forsyth entered the building, mainly he was just walking around exploring the many places in the city. He just ended up in this place somehow. The tall blue eyed man decided just to walk around the store, looking at things quietly to himself, and not paying much mind to the girl behind the counter. He was quiet, keeping to himself without saying hello. But he couldn't be blamed for being rude, he was still new, and a little on edge with things.
* Sence felt a pat on her backside from Theo as he passed, causing her to jump and glare at the human before she watched the stranger momentarily. After a few moments, she moved out from behind her counter reluctantly, her safe place. They had told her that it wouldn't be hard for her to socialize, and here was her chance to prove it, wasn't it? "Can I help?" And then she looked a little strained, searching for the words, "I am Sence. This is my shop."
* Forsyth folded his arms on his chest and looked through the shelves as he walked by each one. He wasn't paying much mind on purchasing anything, seeing as he was low on cash. He stopped and picked up an item to look at it for a moment before he set it down, only to be startled by a sudden voice near by. Forsyth open his mouth and then closed it, thinking of something to say. The man was shy, he couldn't help it. "I-- No, just looking." He gave a crooked smile that slowly faded. "I'm Forsyth." He stuffed his hands in his jean pockets.
* Sence gave a small smile, recognizing the action from her own experiences and automatically, from habit, appraised the man as she stood near him. Paladin had made her become cautious after getting stabbed a few times, wary. Afraid. "It is nice to meet you. Do not hesitate if you have any questions." She stepped back, hearing Theodore call her name afterwards and she turned when he reminded her about the help wanted ads. "You are pain in my behind." She frowned, "You are taller. Silly man." She shook her head, smiling lightly to Forsyth. "If you will excuse me." She bowed her and went to collect the signs, "I am asking Connie to make Nathan have use of you. Maybe Nine will be kind enough to help me.
* Forsyth nodded with hand with a small smile. "Thanks." He then began to walk around for a little longer. He rarely liked to leave a store without purchasing something, especially if the owner would come to him. He sighed and took out the little cash he had in his pocket, not much he had at his name. The man moved up to the counter and tapped his finger tips. "Uhm," He thought, trying to remember her name. "Sence?" He called out her name. Maybe somehow he could get a job, he didn't know about the help wanted sign at all. Just figured he'd give it a shot. He tried other places and had no luck, maybe this place would give him that luck.
* Sence bickered with Theo quietly before she ultimately convinced the thrall to go and put up the signs himself, a triumphant smirk playing across her lips, only because she threatened to make him deal with the cranky girls that adored her sire and wanted his candles on his day off. "Yes?" The brunette asked, stepping out from her office to look at Forsyth, blinking after. "How many I help you?"
* Forsyth leaned against the counter until the woman paid him mind, a faint grin on his lips. "I thought I would give this a shot. Is there, well, any job open here?" He asked with hope in his eyes. "I may be new but I have some experience with customer service." The man shrugged his broad shoulders. "Well and if not I totally understand." He sighed, 'nice going now you're just babbling' he thought to himself as he pushed back a bit from the counter.
* Sence glanced at her thrall and then at the man once more. She was quiet for a moment, appraising him. "You are rather new." She murmured softly under her breath and then watched as Theodore walked out of the shop whistling a Justin Bieber tune. "I am hiring for three of my shops." Smoothing out her skirt, the thin woman knelt down to dig through things to find the applications. After a moment, she mumbled something and stood up. "If you excuse me a moment." She turned to go back into her office, finding them on the desk and mentally using her powers to print more off as she returned. "This or That." She motioned around her to show it was the shop name, "Light Them Up, a candle shop. My brother works there." She resisted the urge to say sire as a group of people walked in, "And Build-A-Buddy, where stuffed animals are made by children with help of employees."
* Forsyth stood back as the woman spoke and nodded, his arms folding back over his chest. He kept to himself a lot as of lately, cautiously too. "Okay." He said lightly with a nod as he waited there, glancing around the store a bit more until she returned. "Uhm, so I should fill out one of those." He nodded his head towards the paper stack of so called 'applications'.
* Sence held out one, a nod being given. "Yes. Although I will hire you, just give me a moment to find a suitable position." She murmured, pretending to type at her computer as she mentally searched through the man's mind. "How are you at a computer?" Clerical. Did she have a clerical position open?
* Forsyth took the piece of paper and looked over it quietly. "I'm good with computers," he looked up at the woman then. "I've worked with them a lot before. I can work with anything that you have to offer. I will learn, I'm good at learning." His eyes went back down to the paper, 'babbling, that's all you're doing, stop looking like an idiot'. He worried his bottom lip nervously, maybe this place will be another turn down.
* Sence nodded, holding out a pen to the man, turning to point behind her, "Follow me, please." She said as Theodore returned. He brushed snow off his shirt. "Theo, please go check the other shops for me. And bring Connie the gift basket for me?" She frowned, ignoring the look he gave her. She tossed a balled up piece of paper at his head before heading into her office. "When did you come to Harper Rock, or have you lived here?" As she lowered hereslf to her seat, Sence's hand went to her ribs as pain ripped through her torso and her amber eyes closed briefly as she let out a heavy exhale.
* Forsyth took the pen quietly and nodded, the paper held in his hand. The man followed when he was told, silently behind. "About three days ago I came here." He said quietly. He stood there in the office, not entierly sure weather to sit or stand, he didn't know what was going on at the exact moment. Nerves tended to settle over him with new people. He blue gaze wandered down to her ribs and then to her facial expression. "You alright there?"
* Sence motioned at the desk, "You may use to apply. Please sit." She then motioned at one of the two chairs in front of it, leaning back as she kept her ribs pressed against. "I was in accident a few years. Did not heal properly." Or entirely, but she couldn't explain it to another vampire, could she? It was a question she wondered. "How long have you been vampire?" She motioned for him to shut the door, despite the fact she wasn't too concerned with humans overhearing.
