Nifty ways to get Experience on your character

A thread dedicated to those awesome, nifty ways you have found to get max experience for minimum energy (which is usually the yard stick to which experience gain is measured)

And for those who are really good at this stuff, feel free to give advise or talk about what people do.. and how they can improve their 'game'.

The Oracle of Awesome

Experience gains for the rich and richest?

Is anyone else using this to level? Given the use of GPS & $1000 outlay and the more than likely chance of getting 100 exp. This seems rather helpful level wise?

No wonder Pi is poor, the way she spends cash, but I rather think this is a nice way to level if you've got hella cash on your charrie. (which I don't, so this isn't really that sustainable)

$1300 & 2 energy per 100 exp. That doesn't seem too bad if you've got a few million banked and are energy conscious.
You are able to convince the person to try and get a reign in on their shadow. They apologise to you with a blood heal, restoring some blood. You gained 100 experience points. :)

You gun down both men before they have a chance to draw their weapons. You gained 100 experience points.

The digital harassment ends, but the hacker never contacts you to arrange a joint venture. You gained 25 experience points.

You charge past two dead bodies and into the living room, where the two men have their hands locked around what appears to be an external hard drive. Mustering as much force as the building`s strange aura allows you, you push through the middle of the two men and grab the object, before fleeing into the night. You have found the tome of Eirene`s Will! You gained 100 experience points. >.>

You successfully disposed of the body. You gained 100 experience points.

The individual realises what you are doing, and turns on you just before you are ready to silence them forever. They draw their weapon and attack! After a short battle, you defeat the enemy and go on your way, victorious. You gained 100 experience points.

The one hack wonder

Pi only has Hacking 2. Is currently all sorts of **** at hacking, but even I get her to do her one hack a day. That 100+ experience for cheap energy (I can't remember how much is used) - is hella good to do.

The script outlay is expensive for new players (but that's what lineage and begging off the older charries is for) - once you have some goods scripts. This is a nightly ritual for Pi.

RPP - Trade in, Trade Up - great returns

For those writing like mad things, may I suggest you religiously convert your 500 free RPP a day. Make it a part of your nightly routine for your character. It's GREAT. If you can, try and get your character above level 20 in RPP and you'll find your conversion rates on even footing with NPCs in the city.

Downside, you have to write pretty consistently, and all the time, and all the time consistently to sustain the required 500 words but throw in a few chat RP's or better yet, join in on one of those Hardcore RP threads in that forum to get 50% extra RPP and you'll be sweetness :)
You will gain 66 exp from this. This exchange will take 4 energy points.
Pi's current conversion rate. That's pretty good stuff.

I tried the Oracle thing for a day. It sounds nice, but unless you make a ton of cash, it really isn't at all sustainable. I'd suggest it more for someone who does hacking/business/owns a thrall etc.

I doubt anyone who doesn't have one of those advantages is going to want to spend their cash on it when it might go to those nifty new crafted weapons, or making them unbreakable. Or some of the relics that had a price increase.

For lower levels, B&E works really really well, at least if you stat for it. You can tackle stealth raids pretty early on, and even if you don't win them, the exp return is cool until you start hitting the higher levels. The gradual return makes it less viable as you go up in security level unless your character has Hide in Shadows because the EXP return doesn't account for the increased number of guards.

I hear that guard killing gives good EXP, but I never wanted to deal with that.

it did, that is no longer a resource, as there is no xp involved any more, apparently you learn nothing fighting a guard

One thing I have used forever. Buy a car and keep the tank up.

Only works on the grey 'streets' but it saves you energy for inside buildings and fighting instead of traveling.
Driving around also gives you the chance of finding random dilemmas, discovering a wraith not yet reported, grabbing odd junk for resale (and if you VERY lucky, find a relic)

300 bucks (minus 11%) gives you 50 moves on the streets. at 0.1 per move on the ground, that saves you 25 energy which if you encounter 6 npcs = 24 energy to kill still leaves you 1.0 energy.

Save the energy for EXP. it does help. So run right down to Mooncalf Motors and get your wheels today. (Now THERE is a shameless plug and suck up to the man. LOL)

With even a low level B&E you can do the security wings in a team raid. The higher the floor the better the exp/ Unless you have something else to use energy on (like trying to win the raid, lol) sit your vamp's butt there and for 5 energy and no moving around or getting shot at you can do that same B&E mini game over and over again.

I also have Alex carry a portable crafting bench so when she is in a raid and at fullenergy waiting to go up a floor, she can craft with some of the energy as time goes by so nothing is lost from not moving.... iyswim?

And although I have been VERY lax in writing, when I was/am doing better that swap of 500rpp for free a day is a MUST HAVE to boost leveling.

USE ALL the anima you can every day if you can. Alex has summon spirits so she sits in a shop to buy blood bags and max's out every day's anima use. Yup, it cost ingame cash with all that blood but it's worth it. You can use the same power multiple times. (I still think that should be a bug for a couple powers {examples; alter ego/untraceable} but it is not I've been told.)

Meaner Things.
Take the form of an animal and recover an extra point of energy per hour. Also allows you to avoid Fae attacks for the day.
If your vamp has it, use it. EVERY day asap. Extra energy (just a wee bit but it DOES add up) every hour so the more early in the 'day' (after daychange) you use that power, the more it pays out. Up to 24 free energy a day plus the experience your vamp gets by using the power to start with. (100xp)

Healing trance. Use five minutes before daychange. Swap inspires with someone else's charry every day. Inspire your thralls.

Best tip of all? Don't waste energy by letting it sit. Log in as often a day as you can and burn that gas. And speaking of gas? Get a car and save the character's energy as much as you can to use on getting exp not just moving around. Have celerity, teleport or a tome home? USE them as much as you can, don't waste energy of moving at all if you can avoid it.

As far as the Oracle? That's meh to me. I find a lot of the 'dilemmas' to be very slanted. :|

Ninja'd by Zoey on the car :))

I had a five second thought about collating this all into one thread. But I think probably, more work than I can believably sustain.

Nice suggestions! Just did a bit of judicious highlighting in yours Alex :) Cause you had some good ones. I have to try the Healing Trance every evening one. That looks like a win. And inspiring thrall? Interesting, hadn't thought of that one.
You will gain 71 exp from this. This exchange will take 4 energy points.
- one more RP Level. Conversion rate is looking really healthy.
