Situation: You end up in a particular building during the storms. Though the streets outside aren't flooded, and the building isn't crumbling, it's still treacherous outside. You may each choose any reason you wish for being there.

So, Aliyah almost never travels that way, but I can think of a reason that she might...maybe just to explore, as she is fairly new to the city. With no car or other means to travel, she would have walked, and though she has a Tome...she has little faith in the object, still convinced she'll get stuck in a black hole. So the thought of using it midst an earthquake would just terrify her.

I am willing to start it, if no one else would like to, but I open to all ideas on how our situation should go down there.

Ali would stand no chance in a fight, and she knows it...so if that is of interest, I can find Ali's quickest out to avoid it. Not out of cowardice, but self-preservation, at this point in her progress.

What do you all think?

Digo regularly sweeps the abandoned buildings of HR for Blood Thief stragglers... it's something of a compulsion of his.

He has a variety of powers that might get him out of the situation (his fallback position is always "I Enter Shadows"), but he is unlikely to do that if he thinks young vampires are at risk. He's not sentimental... he just doesn't trust young vampires to be able to handle themselves without breaking the Masquerade if pressed.

I don't foresee him picking a fight unless someone presents themselves as an active threat.

That's fine. I hadn't anticipated anyone being dead, so if you want to join in with her in that way, that sounds interesting.

Mad just opened Fadewalker and got Enter Shadows just a few days to a week ago. I haven't gotten to RP any of that yet so looking for Hantu could be a reason that she's there.

Her and Aliyah are related through d'Artois though they haven't met in person yet.

She will probably have an issue with Wendigo. I believe this is the first interactions they have had, in person, since he tried to kill her while she was a blood thief.

I don't mind much who starts it.

Should we set up some posting guidelines for ourselves?

I do remember Madison being in the same bloodline ad Aliyah, so that could be an unfortunate way to meet, but they would meet, nonetheless.

Aliyah is a Shadow, but doesn't have Enter Shadows yet. From the looks of it, no one would pose a serious threat to her, just for funzies, which is good.

Her experience with other vampires is pretty limited, but she sees all of them as a chance to learn more. Pi and Elliot have been helping as they can.

Oh! And Aliyah has Sensory Overload...and this situation will definitely stress her out on all levels. She is likely to panic. Which will trigger Temporal Disruption and Eyes of the Beast. That could be her way out, eventually. She'll just pop back in randomly when it's all over.

As for guidelines...I'm pretty easy going with RP. I just ask Aliyah isn't killed, as I don't want her sent to the Shadow Realm a month after starting.

Feel free to start - since Bina's dead, I'll probably just post sporadically and go with the flow. He might whisper stuff, but other than that, she's just observing.

Haven't we worked on Team Raids together since then?

In any case, Digo won't remember that encounter (just one blood thief out of hundreds to him). Moreover, he's likely not to pick up on aggression unless a weapon is directly pointed at him.

Could be fun.
