yuletime thank you, take 2 [Pru]

Another evening started as the tall killer rotated in the captain's chair of his office. The holidays that meant so much to many were upon them. Mordechai, personally, didn't look at them beyond the way the commercialization of them helped to pad the bottom line of his business' A moments intuition and a little hard work had set up the delivery of a present for Zodiac. The killer stared across the office at Pru's present. The holiday itself had little meaning for the laconic male, but he had chosen it as the time to send thank you's to two of his closest friends. One still needed delivered. The one in his office. Rising from his chair, Mordechai circled it once more. It wasn't something he would use, but it seemed, in his mind at least, to fit the woman he knew.
He thought over his deliver plan, and realized it had a few flaws, but he could think of none that could not be overcome by brute strength or sheer intimidation. One last circle and the killer pushed it out of his office, scooping up the keys to one of his smaller delivery vans. At least this one was smaller then the last delivery. That one had necessitated the twenty four footer, this one fit in a normal van. Glancing around to be sure no one was watching, he stooped, and with a little bit of strain, lifted the present and slid it into back of the van. Slipping in beside, Mordechai carefully cross tied it in place, preventing both lateral and linear movement. Walking back to the shop door, he let his staff know that he would be gone again for a delivery, but would be back soon.
The trip was short only Riverrock to Coastside and the eastern end of Coastside at that. There was no sign of the yellow trash heap Pru called a car, anywhere near the High Noon, and he hoped she had not taken the transit, or jogged in tonight. He only needed a few minutes, then he would be gone. Reaching out with his mind, he could feel no aura of her having been near the Saloon in hours. A small grin crossed his face as he opened the rear doors and started to undo the ratchet straps. Carefully lifting the present down, he pushed it across the side walk to the front door of the Saloon. Seeing J.J. inside, he motioned him out.
"Got this for the boss lady. Gonna put it in her office. If you aint got a problem with it, hold the door."
Mordechai nodded to the bouncer as he held the door, slowly shaking his head and watching as the present was slipped by.
"Just don't make a mess" was his only comment. The killer had been pretty sure there wouldn't be a problem, the head bouncer knew him, and knew he was close with Pru. Not mentioning that he had also helped out a few times when the gangs that hung out got a little rowdy. The envious look on the bouncer's face let him know it had been a good choice. Finally getting it to the center of the titian haired killers office, Mordechai propped
the present up then headed out the door.
"It's a surprise, keep it QT" were his last words as he slipped behind the wheel of the van and fired it up.

The redhead pulled a light purple jewel from the caves in the park, pocketed it and did another sweep of the main floor before she exited it. It was Christmas, but to Prudence, it was honestly just another day. Outside the gift she got from Jessica, which surprised her. Prudence sent one back to her, hoping she got it right. Prudence didn't know a ******* thing about Jessica; not even her path. But since she had a thing about attracting Allurists, Prudence guessed that was what she was. It sure would be awkward if she wasn't.
The woman stopped at the local shop in Bullwood, sold all the gems she found for some quick cash and then headed to the bank. After depositing a good deal of cash, she headed to her flat and showered, changed and headed to the bar. Either the bar was going to be ******* insane or a ghost town because of the holiday.
When she entered the bar, Prudence looked around and got her answer. Ghost town. She could send some of the staff home early, make them happy and cut back on the pay because she didn't have to keep them around to do nothing. Everyone won.
"Ryker, ya can go for the night. No sense in having three tenders for the night. If need be, I can serve up some of the easy drinks. Merry Christmas." She waved the woman off, then headed to the bar to check and see what needed to be done. A few tables needed washing off. Something about blood in the very back room and a guy needed a beer by the bull. Prudence decided to hit the guy with the beer need first and the table. Her janitor could deal with the blood. That's what she paid her top money for.
In about the span of thirty minutes the tables were wiped off, the beer was given and Prudence was was on her way to her office to order some **** for the bar and to do some number crunching when she was astounded by a bike in her office. "Wuh-?" Prudence turned around on her feet and headed back to the bar where she locked eyes with J.J. "Who the **** has their **** in my office?" Prudence roared at the guy who was now the head of security for the bar. Her first guess would be Cliff, which made Prudence guarded instantly. Maybe he wanted the bar for himself? If that was the case, Prudence would probably give it to him. Free and clear. She only came around anymore and refused to close it because of the customer loyalty. J.J. just shrugged his shoulders, like he didn't have any ******* clue what she was talking about.
Fingers went to her temples as she rubbed at them, frustrated. She moved back to her office and tried to figure out who might own the thing. Maybe they left a clue? A business card? A number to call them at? But there was nothing. "Well, what the ****." She said as she moved around the bike as she got out her cell. Mordie. Need ya to come help me move a cycle. Someone left it in my office and won't fess up to who the **** owns it. She hit send, took a seat and just stared the thing down.

The presents delivered, van back at the shop, there wasn't much else for the killer to do. He knew his kennedy would be be in the caverns practicing her skills on the sirens that inhabited them, and scooping a few loose jewels for pocket change. He thought of going to meet her there, but at the last minute he decided no. Her present had not made it into town yet, and he sometimes thought she got nervous when he was around. It seemed to affect her accuracy and concentration. The buxom allurist seemed to try too hard. It was better for her when he watched from afar.
His mind wandered over the presents he had bought, and the reactions so far. He chuckled silently as he remembered Zodiac's reaction, if she had been anyone other than Zo, she would have been speechless. Instead, the contrary little mystic had spoken. It had only been two words, but they were the first two he had ever heard of her speaking in the almost four years that he had known her. His kennedy's present was even now being hauled across the province. The men he had dispatched yesterday had called in, and they were on their way home with a loaded trailer. The only other one was sitting in Pru's office, waiting for her to find it.
A shiny red, high powered Suzuki Hayabusa. Pru's old yellow piece of **** was ready for the Coastside junkyard. He wasn't even sure how she kept it running. She needed something reliable, and he had decided to take care of it for her. When he had wandered the dealerships and showrooms, nothing had stood out to the massive killer. He wanted to find something that would embody the free spirit and primal attitude of the titian haired female he called friend. Their relationship was one he seldom understood, but there was no one in the city he would trust to cover his back in a battle, as he would trust her. With those thoughts in mind, he had entered the Suzy dealership, and had seen the perfect machine. Sleek, red, powerful. It was Pru on wheels. He had simply handed the dealer the black rectangle of plastic, then slid astride her and rode her back to midknight armaments. He had spent two nights cleaning, polishing, and tweaking the bike, til the throaty purrrr rumbled just right and every piece of chrome glittered. After that it had been an easy task to slip it into her office.
With a shrug of his shoulders he swung aboard his Judge, and fired it up. He hoped she would enjoy it and the freedom a bike gave. Rolling out of River Rock he headed north west, there were a few factories up there he needed to visit and there was plenty of time left in the night. Crossing the border into Wickbridge around the south west corner of the QZ the killer felt a vibration from his phone. Large but nimble leather encased fingers slipped it from the map pocket of his duster. A text from Pru. She had found it. The corners of his lips quirked up as he pressed the 'i' then picked the word 'incoming' from the predictive text list. Hitting send he slipped the phone back in his pocket as he slowly counted to one hundred. Gently he reached out to caress her mind with his thoughts.
"It is yours. Merry Christmas"

Pru waited for Mordie to reply and when her phone buzzed, she smiled. She knew she could always count on Mordie and a few others. Even J.J. but it seemed like he was off his game tonight. For whatever reason. J.J. was a cool guy and the best she could probably get in terms of security of the human kind since Cliff sorta fucked off, but occasionally he enjoyed his job a little too much. Once or twice Prudence had to send him home for sneaking one too many shots with the crowd. Mostly women. One or two shots? Not a big deal, but five, six or seven? That was a problem. Especially when your senses and capabilities were at a handicap.
The redhead picked up her phone, swiped a finger over the top of the phone and went to her message icon. Incoming. Mordie was going to do the one way thing. She wasn't irritated that he put his thoughts in her head anymore, it was actually pretty annoying that she couldn't do it back. But Prudence had a strong dislike of telepaths for a couple of reasons, but mostly because they thought they could just go through your memories like they were part of them or owned them. Just because someone could do something doesn't mean they should do it in her mind.
As his thoughts filtered in, Prudence's eyes moved to the bike that she had been talking about and now he was talking about. Hers? Prudence would remember if she had a bike. Let along a bike like that. It was pretty ******* cool, and amazing. Super amazing actually. Then he said the words 'merry christmas' attached to his thoughts and a large smile plastered itself on her face.
Fingers moved to the bike as she inspected it, the redhead almost bouncing with joy as she moved around it and took all the features in. The colors were what drew her in. Mordie had good taste for a guy. Or maybe Kennedy helped pick it out. Whatever the case, Prudence ******* loved the bike. Excited fingers started typing and before she knew it, Prudence was sending a text back to Mordie that expressed her excitement. "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you! After it was sent, Prudence reread her words and then sent some more to cover up her excitement. I mean it's really ******* cool. Again, she hit send, tossed the phone on a seat in her office and climbed aboard the thing, to get a feel for it.

The killer had finished raiding the factories, it had not taken long. Poor security, and his new ability to draw shadows to himself had made the plundering easy. He swung aboard his bike, happy with the heave loads of salt the DPW had been spreading on the streets. He loved to ride, his size made most vehicles almost comically tight, but there was nothing funny about trying to get in and out when you were the size of a small bear. The bike gave him freedom, and though slower than he could move on his own, he lent to the illusion of humanity. So far this winter had been cooperating, the little snow they had gotten, was readily cleaned from the streets, and the copious amounts of salt kept down any ice build up.
Just as he was about to pull out, he felt the small vibration of an incoming text. Slipping it from his pocket, he quickly scanned the message. A slight twitching of his lips gave away the smile he felt inside. He now knew that two of his presents had been success'. only one more to have delivered, tho for this one, he would have to deliver the recipient to the present. His kennedy was the only one left. Quickly his thumbs tapped out an answer and he stomped the starter, but as an after thought he cleared the message and slipped it back into the map pocket of his duster. Rolling on the throttle he merged with the late night traffic headed in the direction of Coastside.
Slipping the judge into his preferred parking spot, Mordechai slipped in the back door of the Saloon and worked his way up to Pru's office. Using the same skills he had just exhibited in the factories, he slipped unseen into her office and quietly watched her circling the Suzy, finger drawing over its curves. Stepping out of the shadows his voice rumbled as his lips parted, "Let's ride"

To say she was in awe of the present she got was a massive understatement. Prudence ******* loved the present she was given by Mordie. At one point, the redhead had sat on top the thing and hugged it, only to realize how ******* weird that was and immediately got off it. Prudence wouldn't say she was a materialistic person by any means, but she definitely loved this gift and some others she had gotten by various senders throughout the year. Mostly, her mini's. One in particular; Lori.
Prudence was crouched down, looking at the bike from the side when Mordie's voice made her get up and spin on her feet. "Jesus Christ, Mordie! Creep much? Coulda been naked or something." Unlikely, but Prudence didn't know how long he had been standing around watching her act like an idiot.
"Uuuuuuh." She paused and shifted her weight before a hand went to the right side of her head and tugged at some of her hair. "I kinda don't know how." Prudence hadn't even thought of that before. She had been on a bike before, but only with Mordie that one time and the other times with Cliff. "I kinda always rode ***** with, ya know." Her shoulders rolled up and then down as she explained how it was she never rode a motorcycle before.
"But I promise I'll take like a course or something. At the Uni. I'll be a pro by the time spring comes." She smiled at him, then bounced over to the male and wrapped her arms around him in a hug. For about three seconds. Otherwise it would be too weird for her. But Lori was always hugging her and it made Prudence feel, well appreciated. Special even. She thought Mordie should know that he was special to her, without being over the top with it. "It's a really great ******* gift."

The killer walked towards the bike, flicking a glance at the titian haired female as he dead panned, "Wouldn't be the first time." Then turning his attention to the red machine in their midst, he concentrated on the bike as he squatted at its side, studying the fit and finish of the mechanicals. "We will need to go shopping then. This is the fastest, you will need a helmet, and kevlar reinforced leathers for while you are learning. You will survive, but time spent healing is time not riding.'' Straightening up he turned to face his friend, he momentarily froze as she bounced to him and wrapped her arms part way around his chest. The killer was unsure what to do as except when he had kissed her as a female, Pru usually reacted violently if he showed affection. One arm held awkwardly to the side he let the other wrap her and give a short squeeze. "I will teach you,'' the killer said quietly. ''I have an RM125 at the shop, you cannot hurt it, and it is easy to learn on. If you feel the need for a license, you can take the course in the spring." That decided, he turned back to the bike. "I am ordering kevlar for kennedy's pet. I can order leathers for you as well when I do. They are specialists, They made this." Mordechai flipped the lapels of his duster to show what apparel he meant, before turning to walk the room. "It not only saves you in a fall, but it is slash proof, stab resistant, and adds a layer of bullet resistance against low velocity rounds.''
Turning, he slowly eyed her head to foot appraising the form and musculature with a practiced eye. "Size ten tall?" he queried. Sure that he was right his eyes once more settled on the Hyabusa. His taste ran more towards the heavy cruisers, but there was no denying that this was a piece of art. "Call me when you are ready to learn. We will head south near the old white lair. The road is smooth, and there is room off road to practice as well." Walking to one of the visitor chairs in the office, he lowered his bulk to its seat, a look of contentment trying to make its way to his face.

Prudence snorted and rolled her eyes at his comment. "Like I'm naked around ya a lot. One or two times and ya can't let a girl live it down." She stuck her tongue out at the guy before she moved away. Far away from the awkwardness she felt when she gave him a hug. "Wasn't like ya saw that much anyways. Nothing but my strong *** muscles." She teased him, by flexing her right arm, before the redhead looked at the bike again, giving it her full attention as he talked about the bike's capabilities.
When he started talking about Kevlar and all that, an amused look was shot in his direction. A fall off a bike couldn't be that bad, right? Not compared to being stabbed, shot and blown up in those buildings with those fae fuckers. But when he said something about the outfit he was wearing giving him a little extra protection from **** like that, the amused look vanished and a look of impressiveness replaced it. She wanted a set. If not for riding, than for looting those buildings. She would get the details from him later.
When he guessed her size, Prudence just looked at him. "Right. Creep much? Again." She laughed at the male, teasing him more than anything. As much **** as she gave him, it was all in good spirits. Hopefully. She hoped he knew that too. He sat in a chair across from her desk and she huffed. "Whaddya mean call ya when I'm ready to learn? I want to learn like yesterday. Ya can teach me the basics, so I can get my license and just fly through the course in the spring." Prudence nodded her head as she crossed her arms at her chest. "Can't we practice on that one? Until I get the hang of it?"

Mordechai nodded as Pru extolled the virtues of her gluteous muscles, the titian haired killer was in excellent shape. Her nakedness meant nothing to him, it only provided him with a means of evaluating her physical prowess. The only female form that had any affect on him at all was that of his kennedy. A smile flicked across the stoic countenance as he thought of her, his little savior. He had noted the look on her face when he discussed leathers, at first disdain, then approval. Almost absentmindedly he searched the web for a good set of kevlar lined, female racing leathers. The conversation about the bikes merits continued as he found the perfect set. The model was even posed with a red Hyabusa, showing how they would be color coordinated, something women seemed to take personally. Although he knew Pru seldom fettered herself with such unnecessary lingerie, it seemed that the outfit came with a matching bra, as well as boots. A quick glance at his friend, then a scan over the site, and a size to tall was ordered, to allow for the long legged killer to straddle her bike without the cuffs riding up. Mordechai selected the 36c and size 9 boots to accompany it. The store was located in Wickbridge, and he knew he had left marie in the sewers there. The human didn't find it quite as funny as Mordechai did, but she had no choice. her very existence and life was owned by the large killer. He was working on his sense of humor, and it made him chuckle when she reported back that the same vampires were biting her over and over, and described their reactions to him as their blood boiled in their veins. He found it amusing because honestly, how many blonde's in bodycon, with their throat marked by hundreds of fang marks? The adage that 'some never learn' held true with vampires as well as humans.
Mordechai reached out touching the woman with his mind as he gave her orders and the address. She had thirty minutes to pick up the outfit and be at the saloon. Another thing he had learned to find amusing was to watch the woman racing in her four inch stilettos to meet his time deadlines. She was on her way as the payment was accepted online, with assurance it would be ready for pickup immediately.
"If you wish, you may start on the suzy, you are fairly coordinated. I only offered the smaller bike as a way to learn the controls and their functions without necessitating large repair bills." The killer rose and approached Pru and the bike, and began at the top going over all the controls and their functions, waiting patiently every seven controls got Pru to touch them and repeat their usage. Mordechai was just finishing up explaining what would happen if you pulled to hard on the front brake, without stepping on the rear, when the rapid fire staccato sound of marie running down the hall on her heels reached his ears. Standing he turned to meet her, and took the package from her hands.
"Go to Corvidae, get me ten zombie ears, then off to River Rock sewers, see how many you can lure there." Rounding on Pru he handed her the box, then settled into his chair
"We begin when you are changed into that"

Pru weighed the options of this bike versus the offered one and not wanting to **** the present up she just got tonight, Prudence decided Mordie was right. She could wait and practice on the one that didn't seem to mean a lot to him and didn't mean as much as the one to her in her office.
Mordie's thrall appeared from like no where with a box and then went on her way without any sort of comment. Not like Jane. Jane had been a big mouth brain dead air bag that got on her nerves one too many times before Mordie killed the blond bimbo. The box was given to her before he made himself comfortable and she looked at it a little puzzled. "Uhhh, is this like that last thing? With the political ****? I can only wear so much latex in my lifetime and that one night might have been it." Prudence cackled lightly before she put the box on her desk and lifted the top off it. "Uhhhh." The first thing she noticed was the pants, which weren't all that bad, but on top of the pants was this almost string bikini looking thing and well, she might like alright in it, minus the whole pale, pasty bit; it was the middle of winter. "Look, I know we don't get cold and ****, but I'm not riding around in just this." As Prudence said that, she grabbed at both items, held them up and noticed a matching coat under the pants. "Oh, well, that's not too bad. But, can't I just wear this?" She put the items down and showed him her t-shirt, which wasn't anything fancy. "Under the coat?"
She didn't wait for him to answer, because by now, Prudence knew that Mordie would have an answer as to why she couldn't so she grabbed all three of the items and popped open the large wardrobe in her office. How many times had she been in this same exact predicament with Mordie? She wondered if Kennedy knew and minded. Not that she was really doing anything, or him for that matter, but some bitches got mad when women dropped their drawers in the presence of their man. A hopeful Pru started with putting on the pants first, just in case Mordie said she could keep her shirt on instead of changing into the bikini thing. "Ya know, I think it's a little weird that ya know so much about women's clothing. My size specifically. Ya been going through my **** at the Sangue place?" Prudence peered over the edge of the wardrobe's door to give her friend a somewhat playful, mean look before continuing on with the outfit he got her.
