When i first started my new life at Haper Rock everything was going fine till one day when i was so hungry and i had no food so i had 2 options so i thought at the time the options where steal or go hungry so i went into one of the local businesses to try my luck but i got court by the business owner who was very nice she addressed herself as renee the shop owner she was not mad she had a smile from ear to ear she then told me that she would help me and get me back on my feet.

There is something about the man that had come into my work place. I felt as though he had needed help. Something about the he entered or carried himself. I was more than happy to help him though. I had means and it was apparent to me that he did not. I had agreed to give him a place to stay if needed, and job ifhe wanted one. Till then I got him some food for he looked as though he might starve to death.

I was kind of nervous at first because i thought i was going to get into trouble,she offered me some food and i was taken back because i wondered why she was willing to help me even though i was about to steal from her,i was even more surprised when she asked if i wanted a place to stay.i said yes straight away i gave her a joking smile and said will we be in the same room.

I had laughed at him when he asked about the room. I told him simply that he would more then likely have the whole place to himself most of the time. It wasn’t that I would never be there just that I had duties that kept me from home most of the time. I could not go into detail at the time but I was sure he would find out at some point about what would keep her away.

I was nervous about staying in someone's house when they were not there,but when she told me she had duties that had to be done i wanted to ask her there and then what they were but i didn't feel like it was the best time to ask her i didn't want to get too personal too quickly so i let it go i knew when i got to know her better she would tell me all about it.the next couple of days was hard i was working which i had not done since i left my family, i wasnt sleeping very well because i had a lot on my mind and i didn't feel completely safe on my own.but i was happy because i had a purpose in life.

I did not think it would be easy at first for him. Though I was gone most of the night I would check in on him just before sunrise and I would have to sleep for the day. I would try not to bother him too much but I would asked if he needed anything or wanted to talk about things. It was hard being in a new city and not knowing anyone around.

There was a lot of thing i wanted to ask her i wanted to ask her about what she did every night but i thought i would wait till the right time to ask her,There was one thing i wanted to ask her but there was never no time to ask her i wanted to know more about her and her past why she move here i only seen here a couple of times just as im waking up she is going to sleep for the day so one morning i got up early and waited for her to come in so i could have a good talk with her about her past and why she moved here i really wanted to know more about the girl that picked me back up from the ground i did still did not ask her about what she does at night.

I came home one morning to find him up. I was worried at first that something had happened but was relieved when he just asked about what had made me come here. I told him some of how my family had thought I was a curse on them with all the bad luck that had come to them after I had been born. How it was either stay with them and probably end up alone forever or run away and make a new life for myself. That was how I ended up here with my businesses and the friends that were slowly becoming family to me.

When i heard her story about her past i was felt so sorry for her and i wondered how she always kept that amazing smile on her face all the time after what she has been though i could relate to some parts of what she was saying since i had to leave my family as well i went to give her a hug but i stopped my self i knew she seen me going to hug her but i did feel that it was the best thing to do but while we was talking i had to ask her what she did at night and could i help her at all.

I hug him when he stops. I know I can not tell him the whole truth behind what all I do at night. It would be nice to not have to hide things from him but I need to know I can fully trust him before I let this out. I tell him simply that I am working. It is not a lie but there is more to it than just the club or the butcher shop that I owns. There are other things that I do that are for business but not the kind that all knew about.

When i finished talking she hugged me which felt good i was listening very carefully to what she was say but i could tell there was more to it but i didn't want to keep pushing i knew she would tell me the whole story in time i had only known her a couple of weeks i put my arms out and gave her a hug and gave her a kiss on the cheek i said i am always here if she wanted to talk about anything it was getting late on in the day and i knew she need to go to sleep so she could be up for work in time.

It was nice not having to come home to an empty apartment and it was even nicer knowing that I had someone to talk to if I needed it. It was something I needed now that more than ever. I told him that I had recently lost a friend of mine. It wasn’t do to death or him moving away but that his wife had gone crazy on him for being my friend. I told him how having a friend was something I needed now.

I told her that i was single and i would not be going anywhere i would stay and support her no matter what i started getting up early every morning so we could have a chat after a couple of months i asked her if there was anymore she could say about what she does at night i trusted her with my life and i hope she had enough trust in me to tell me the full story.

He wanted to know more about what I did at night. It would be a bit of a shock to him I was sure but I knew there were a few that knew about my kind and if worst came to worst I could take

care of him in one way or another. I slowly explain to him that there are other things in this world than just humans. That there were beings known as Vampires and that I was one of them. I told him that I am out all night hunting. Hunting humans that are trying to kill my kind.

While she was explaining everything i did not fear her i wanted to help her i would do anything to help her i starting asking her can i become a vampire how do i become one and if i did would she protect me from harm and show me all there is about being a vampire i had heard about them before there was so many question i wanted to ask her but in the end i asked her one question can i become a vampire and hunt them with you.

He wants to be one too. He wants to help me with my hunting. I tell him that he can become one but that I would have to find someone else to turn him. I could do so but I that it is not the best idea for me at the moment. I tell him that I will protect him and help him in any way I can that I would teach him how to hunt so that we could go together.

I really wanted to know why she would not turn me i thought we were close i thought it would be nice for her to turn me i was happy she would protect me and teach me how to hunt i ask her why she did not think it was the best idea for her to turn me at the moment.

I explain to him that I had turned three others in the past year and all of them had gone crazy and sent themselves to the sun, killing them. In truth I did not know if it was something I had done or if there had been something wrong with them. Either way I did not want to risk him killing himself if I was her fault.

I understood the reason why she did not want to turn me and i did not want to push it anymore it was up to her i trusted her i gave her a hug and a little peck on the lips before asking who will turn me if you will not will it hurt i asked and when will i get turned i ask her how does it feel being a vampire only going out at night.

Some one in the family would do it I explained. I would have to see who would be willing and wanting though I knew it would not be hard after I talked to them. It would not take long either, not with most of the family wanting to keep human knowledge of us to a minimum. As for if it will hurt or not I can not say. It had hurt for me but I know others that felt no pain when they turned. I think it had a lot with how someone was turned but I could not be sure. I do tell him it is a bit of a change to get use to, only going out at night but it is not that hard to deal with after a month or so.

I felt a lot more comfortable after what she just said i was ready to be turned i was excited to find out who would be turning me,couple of days after the turning i was feeling good the turning did not hurt that much i explained i then ask her how do we know who is bad and who is a good human how did you know i was a good human i then went on to ask her who was our first human we had to kill i had a hunger for blood in the bottom on my stomach i was feeling a change in my head i wanted blood and lots off it i then went over to her and gave her such a big hug i looked into her eye and i could see them twinkling back at me i know from that point i was safe with her.

I explained to him that most of the time the bad ones are the ones shooting at you or are trying to cut your head off. I also explained that most of the time there wasn’t a target. Most of the time they would just have to walk around till they found one or one found them and then they would have to take them down. I got him some weapons and told him that he would have to follow my lead till he got the hang of it.

i was so excited to be going out to find my first human to kill i was so hungry for blood i needed it now i couldn't wait something had definitely changed inside me i followed her into the night she showed me the best and quickest way to kill them humans after a hour or 2 i came across my first human i asked her is he one to kill she replied with yes follow me do as i do and you will be fine so i copied her how she moved she was so quick at killing them i said to her them human smell different to us is that how you can tell what they are.

I was glad he was learning quickly. He seemed to have the same killer instinct as most others in the family. That was a good thing and he would fit right in. Smell was one way that we can tell what humans are but I explain that others can see a sort of light the shines for everyone and humans and vampires had different lights when it came to that. I wasn’t sure how it worked because I could not see it myself but there were ways to tell.
