Tara: Tara looked around at their apartment and grinned. She moved some stuff around, putting the cat perch by the window. “Here Jinx.” she said to the black cat. She then moved back at the boxes, she was happy to move to a smaller town but moving was such a problem. This would be home though, so it was okay. She spotted her boyfriend and jumped on his back, “BryBry! I’m so happy. This place is great.” she said, kissing his cheek.

Bryant: Bryant grunted a bit as Tara jumped on his back. “Hey there, I am glad. Now you going to let me unpack everything or are you going to just piggy back around while I do all the work?” He asked with a small grin. He knelt down with her still on his back and started pulling out things out of a box and placing them on the ground beside him. It was just a few books and what nots nothing important but he wanted to get everything done and not let it all sit in boxes for weeks on end.

Tara: Tara giggled, “You sure are strong. Just think of it as exercise?” she said but slid off his back, and sat on the floor, opening another box to unpack. She threw the cat toys at Jinx who chased off after it before taking the box to unpack it with some bowls for the cat. She returned to the room, “I have to go out and find a job, tomorrow though.” she said, “Hey, want me to cook dinner?” she really did hate unpacking or packing, not that she ever had that much stuff to start off her life with.

Bryant:Bryant smiled at her giggle, she really was a good person to spend his life with. The only downside is how clingy she gets at times. Hell he thinks if he ever looked at another girl she would probably tie him to the bed and make sure he doesn’t go outside ever again. “Why not we go job hunting together then? Who knows, we might get lucky and find the same job and have the same hours. I know how much you hate being apart.” He said putting the books and little decorations on the shelves.

Tara: “Really?” Tara said, “But you could get a much better job than me. I only have experience with bars.” she said, while she didn’t want to hold him back, she was happy that he would think about being together even at work. She found the boxes for the kitchen, “Oh, guess maybe we should order out..” she frowned, “We need to go grocery shopping.” she said but bounced off to take the pots and pans out of the boxes, then the plates.

Bryant: “Pfft, seriously Tara I know you would be happy as hell if we literally never had to have time apart. Surprised you are helping me unpack.” He said and then opened another box taking out the bedding and moving to their bedroom. He made the bed up neatly and then bit his lip a bit. Been a few days since they shared a bed together. He missed how clingy she was even in her sleep. He knows he will start groaning about it later on but when you go without it for so long you do miss it. “Ordering out sounds pretty cool actually, what did you have in mind?” He asked her as he made his way over to her and captured the bouncy cute little ball of energy she was in his strong arms. “Gotcha.” Bryant said playfully.

Tara: “I know but...I can try not to be selfish.” Tara replied, “Well sooner we unpack, sooner I get more of your attention.” she said and grinned when he caught her. “I was just thinking about pizza really.” she said, turning around in his arms, looking up at him. “Yes, I would be really happy we’re never apart. So...if you're okay with it…” she said, she always feared he would leave her for being too clingy and jealous.

Bryant:“More than okay with it, I actually insist. You better just agree with me and stop trying to be nice before I do change my mind.” He said to her and let his hands move down to her rear and picked her up pressing her up against his body as he carried her towards the bedroom and gave her a gentle toss onto the bed. “You know what, I am feeling like giving you all the attention you can handle tonight. It was a decent drive here and moving everything in and out you must be starved for it.” He said and then gave her his best smile as he laid out on the bed. “So tell me what you want my Tara, I am all yours for the rest of the night. Screw unpacking and everything else for now.” Bryant said to her.

Tara: “I’ll agree!” Tara replied, she sure didn’t want him changing his mind. She yelped as he picked her up and tossed her on the bed. She sat up a little and grinned, normally she was the one with all the moves. She grabbed a hold of him, the thought of pizza completely out of her mind right now. She kissed him, “You know exactly what to say to make me happy.” she said.

Bryant:Bryant returned the kiss honestly not caring about anything else at this moment but her. She was such a sweet thing and although he did feel suffocated at times by all of her attention he knows he wouldn’t have it any other way. He loved her and that meant he was stuck with her forever. His arms wrapping around her middle he pulled her close as he turned his head the sides of their noses brushing against each other as he deepened the kiss.

Tara: Tara wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him back. She sure wouldn’t turn down any attention he was going to give. She held him close, “I love you Bry.” she said. She rolled them over so she was on top. “Of course the kind of attention I want..” she said with a smile.

Bryant:He looked up at her his eyes taking her in as he was suddenly underneath her. His hands moving up her sides as he bites his lip. Well they were definitely going to be breaking in the new bed tonight, but first… “Tara, you know I spotted a few girls in town staring me down. Sometimes it feels like you just don’t appreciate my looks like some others do. I miss back when you would do anything at all to make sure I knew you wanted me.” He said with a smirk wondering if he could use her jealousy this way or if he didn’t play that off good enough.

Tara: “W-What..” Tara said, almost devastated by what he said. “How can you say that? You know I appreciate everything about you.” she said, laying down on top of him and held him. Kissing his neck. “You know I would do anything..” she said, pouting. “How can I show that to you, that I still do, every day.”

Bryant:Bryant grinned and then reached up to stroke her cheek gently as he tilted his head to the side exposing more of his neck to her. “Well, how about you just show me by not letting me sleep at all tonight.” He said missing the feeling of being suffocated, maybe he was going insane missing that much attention. He was sure it would only be temporary, he would go back to ignoring her attempts to get his attention twenty four seven soon enough. He wasn’t heartless though, he gave her attention just not every waking breath like he knew she wanted.

Tara: Tara smiled, kissing his neck more. “Really? Is that a challenge?” she asked. “If so I want you to be on top first." She said with a grin.

Bryant:Bryant smirked as he looked up at Tara with playful eyes. “Yeah, that is a challenge. Bet you can’t pull it off either” he said before flipping her onto her back his hand moving slowly up and down between her legs. Body shaking with his need for her. “That’s why I am going to do it all for you, no more sleep for you tonight.” He said.

Tara: Tara wasn’t sure when they did finally stop but passing out in complete bliss was nice. She snuggled up into him as she finally woke up, her stomach reminding her that they never did eat. She looked over at the clock, they slept the day away but that didn’t matter any, bars were open at night. She looked back to Bry and smiled, kissing his cheek before bouncing off to the shower with a change of clothes. Once she was done, she went to wake up Bry. “Time to get up.” she said, kissing his neck. “I’ll strip the bed while you take a shower.” she added.

Bryant:He groaned as he rolled over. Time to get up? How can she be awake? He groaned and then grabbed the blankets and pulled them over his head. “Leave me alone, Sleepy time.” he said all the fun they had still taking it’s tole on his energy.

Tara: Tara frowned, she tugged on the blankets. “We slept all day.” she pouted. How can he not be hungry now? “Fine, you sleep. I’ll go buy food.” she said, so much for job hunting. She grabbed the keys to the apartment and her purse and headed out but petted Jinx on the head before leaving.

Bryant:He didn’t care at this point about food or anything like that. He just wanted to sleep more. Curling back up he fell back to sleep without even responding to Tara.

Tara stopped to get something sweet to eat to tide her over until she cooked something. If Bry wasn't hungry enough to get up yet it would be a waste to cook. Sure she was still tired but she wanted to take care of him, so she needed to be ready when he was hungry. Being on cloud 9, being tired wasn't going to stop her.

Though she got distracted by each bar she passed, she made a note of the name of the bar and where it was located. Also what kind of bar it was, each one was different and she wanted to apply for ones that would fit her personally. She still couldn't believe he wanted to work with her. She couldn't be much happier at the moment.

She found the grocery store, but without Bry with her, she couldn't get that much. She got the basics of bread, milk, lunch meat and cheeses. Eggs, then enough other items for a couple of meals. Once Bry recovered from the all nighter, they could get more.

Tara explored other ways to get back to the apartment as quick as she could, even if that meant she took an alley to do so. She stopped a moment, hearing gun fire in the distance. That wasn't comforting. Did they forget to check the crime rate of this city before moving here?

She wiped her face with her with her sleeve. Crying was not something he ever enjoyed doing, not when she was younger and not now that she was immortal. So much had changed in the past year, why was emotions not one of them.

The door slammed behind her as she exited the building. The hunger had become unbearable. It was always there now but when her emotions went wild and got the best of her, she couldn’t hold it back any more. She had to feed. It had to be from the vain, fresh, hot, and flowing.

As time went on she found she cared less about who her target was, as long as she remembered to take care of the body and not leave any witnesses she would be fine. She walked down the road and saw that she would have to do down an ally to feed, to keep eyes from finding her.

She quickly finds herself in another bar, it is not hers and she is grateful. She does not wish to be there now. There is a man that catches her eye. He is alone and drinking. He will be easy and she does not wish to fight if she does not have to. As she approaches the man she gives him a small smile, turning her power on as she nods her head towards the door. He nods back and she takes his hand, leading him back out into the cold night air.

Their lips met as she turns them down a few alleyways. She feels they are far enough away from wandering eyes. She pushes him against one of the buildings as she moves her lips and tongue to the mans neck. Her face starts to split open and her teeth undergo their transformation. She thought he was under his power good enough but it turned out she was wrong.

The man turns his head and his eye’s catch her transformation. He pushes her away as he screams out and reaches for the small of his back. A hand gun is pulled and shot ring out as a bullet bites into her shoulder. She looks down at it before turning her gaze back to the man. What can only be described as a chuckle escaped her mouth as she lunges for the man. She cups her hand over his mouth as she rips into his neck and shoulder, taking muscle tissue, sink, and some bone with her as she pulled away and laid the man down. The sound of him gargling signals to her that she can feed without worry of him trying to run away again. She kneels down and begins to enjoy the sweet coppery taste of her most favorite thing now.

Tara reminded herself to stay calm. So it was a gunshot, it happens. Maybe the police got someone. Whatever it was, it did not concern her. The problem was, she wasn't too sure what direction it came from to steer clear of it. "Damnit." she muttered as she started to walk again. Trying to get her phone out of her pocket without dropping the bags. Even if she called Bry, what were the odds he'd pick up at the moment. He'd most likely sleep through the ringing. She needed him though, needed his voice to tell her that everything was alright.

When she got to the next alley those thoughts flew out the window. Her breath caught in her throat as she saw the blood, someone woman biting a man. Her mind tried to process what was going on but all she could think of was horror movies. This was real though.

Ah **** there's cannibals in this city. They needed to move, like right now. To any other city. Tara dropped everything she was carrying and turned right around, running as fast as her feet could carry her. She focused on the path that would get her back to Bry, god what was he going to say when she tries to explain what she saw. Would he believe her? She pushed those thoughts out of her head, just run. Get back to him then worry about that!

Her head shot up as she heard something hit the ground. She see’s a figure running away. She jumps up quickly and pulls the knife from her boots. Focusing on the woman running away she blinks and she in front of the woman, arm extended as she plunged the knife into her chest and wrapped her other arm around her to catch her.

“Don’t scream.” She says as her mouth goes back to normal. “It doesn’t help anyone.” She lifted the woman and dragged her back closer to where the other body lay, bleeding out onto the now red snow. “You also shouldn’t of tried to run.”

She lay the woman down as she kneels over her and pulls the blade from her chest. “There is something about you though.” She looked into the woman's eyes as she she watches her to see if she the woman has more fight in her or not.

Tara had no idea how the woman got to her so fast. This person couldn't be human but what was she then! She only yelped when she was caught, taking in a sharp breath when she felt the blade go into her chest. She felt herself being dragged back, back to where that guy was. She was going to be another body in this alley. She shouldn't have tried to run? What was the proper thing to do, ask the murder out for tea and talk about her choice in snacks?

Tears rolled down her face from the pain, she had been used to pain having been beaten in many of the foster homes. Nothing broke her then but this...she was going to die.

She stared, wide eyed as the woman looked at her, freeing the blade from her. Her hand went to the wound, gripping as much fabric from her shirt as she could to try to slow the bleeding. She scrambled back, away from the woman. Her hand looking for anything she could use as a weapon. She chucked an empty bottle at her before she spotted the gun the man had. It had failed him it seemed but she was willing to try anything to stay alive. She pointed the gun at the woman, shooting off all the bullets, kept pulling the trigger until she didn't hear anything but a click of an empty gun, but she had no idea if she hit her. Her vision blurred and she tasted her own blood in her mouth.

Tara tossed the gun to before she leaned against the side of the building. She knew she couldn't try to run again. The woman was too fast and Tara would only lose blood faster. "Bry.." she mumbled. 'I'm sorry Bry..' she thought. She should have stayed in bed with him.

This one definitely had some fight in her. She smirked as she watched her move away. Maybe this one was going to be good to keep around for a while. Sure the woman was crying, she just got stabbed in the chest and was going to die. Renee had been too scared to cry, or had she cried. It had been a long time now. She couldn’t help but see some of herself in this one.

A bottle comes flying at her and she can easily move out the way. She stands and starts to make her way over to the woman when she feels the familiar bite of bullets going into her. This one was a better shot then the man at least. Some miss but she get hit by a few. One in the side, one in the arm, and one in the leg. After the bang of the gun stopped she moves to avoid the gun itself as it is flying towards her.

“You are a little firecracker.” She smirked at her as she made her way closer to her. As she got closer as hears the woman say something about a ‘Bry’. She kneels back down once she is next to her again. “I think I will keep you around for a while longer, you’re a fighter and I like that.”

Tara blinks the tears away, she felt numb now. She was surprised she even hit the woman with any bullets, she never used a gun before. She closed her eyes, waiting to be finished off. Firecracker? She was dying and this woman was calling her a firecracker.

She opened her eyes, staring at the woman like she was insane. "K-Keep me around?" she said, she was dying! There was no keeping her around. She fell back, she didn't have the strength to stay upright. Her hand that was trying to stop the bleeding loosened. "I don't want to die...Bry...Bry.." she said softly.

She smiled as sweetly as she could muster with blood still all over her face. “You don’t have to die. Well you will die as in your heart will stop but.” She shook her head “But there is no time for that now. If we are going to do this then we need to hurry before it’s too late.”

She rolled up her jacket sleeve and brought her wrist up to her mouth and bit into it before moving it to the woman's mouth. “Now drink. If you ever want to see you Bry again that is.” She waited for the woman to drink. She knew this was not the easiest thing to do.

So much of this reminded her of her own turning. Wrong place, wrong time. She didn’t even know why she trusted the man that had just stabbed her but she did and so far it had not been all bad. She hoped the woman would drink. It would be a shame to lose someone with so much spunk just because they didn’t do what a stranger covered in blood told her to do.
