"--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--"
<Ari> Ariadne dropped her bag of looted goods and slumped against the elevator. A streak of blood followed her down as she slid to the floor and she winced as she tried to move her burnt right arm.
<Doc> Doc saw Ari from his position at the computer and moved to her side as she slumped. "Ari.. you look dreadful.. do you need some help?" He eyed the blood streak, and he wounds. He reached down to help her up. "I think a sofa would be far more comfortable, don't you.. Come on.. up we go.."
<Ari> Ariadne glanced woefully over at the sofa as Doc helped her up, her arm gripping his as she leaned on him for support. "Well, yes... but it just seems so far away. How in the world am I supposed to get all the way over there?
<Doc> "Easy.. I will carry you." Doc scooped her up easily, since she really wasn't in any condition to put up a fight. He carried her the ten or so feet to the sofa and gently set her down. "See? Not so difficult. Now tell me .. what put you in this state..."
<Ari> "Oh. That seems.. like a good idea." Ari stretched her left leg out in front of her and wiggled her toes. She attempted the same thing with her right and grimaced as blood oozed out of the hole in her slacks. "Team raid. We won, but a few of us got pretty banged up."
<Doc> "Let me guess... Phoenix was with you? I gave her a couple of days off to recuperate." He noticed the leakage. "Why don't I get a medkit and bandage you up some. So you aren't leaking all over the floor and furnishings? Would that be ok?"
<Ari> Ariadne pulled out a knife and sliced her pants from hem to waistband so she could get a better look at the gunshot. "Yes. It appears that I have a few things that may need tended. Perhaps some blood as well? I think I've lost a bit..."
<Doc> Doc lifted an eyebrow as she cut her pants open. She definitely wasn't acting like herself. He headed off to get the medkit and the blood packs. He returned a few minutes later, silently giving Ari the blood packs and set about bandaging the leaking wounds first.
<Ari> Ariadne took the pack and smiled gratefully at Doc. She drained it quickly while he worked on her leg. Setting the pack aside she glanced at the large blood stain on her shirt and carefully began to lift it up, exposing the multiple shots to her chest.
<Doc> "Ari.. " Doc was going to tell her to put her shirt down, but he would just have to lift it later, so he moved from the leg to the chest, bandaging them first. "You are in a rather obliging and agreeable mood...for having been used as a pin cushion.." He taped the bandage to on her chest, "You can lower your shirt now.." he finished her leg, and then said, sliding a glance at "You do like me don't you..." he winked at her.
<Ari> Ariadne "I made a semi worthwhile amount of money. Also, possible blood loss." She reached over for some of the burn ointment and began rubbing it on her arm. "And I do. You're an interesting sort of person, regardless of the occasional aggravation."
<Doc> Doc grinned. "Thank you.. and despite the holes in your person, You are still quite lovely Dollface." He paused, "How is your back? Any holes there?"
<Ari> Ariadne "Erm..." Rolling up her sleeve she glanced down at the two gunshots placed very close together. "My back is fine, though these are a bit unpleasant." She dug a finger into the first hole and made a face as she touched the bullet which was lodged up against her humerus.
<Doc> "Stop that.. let me get it." He took a pair for forceps. "This is going to hurt." He then proceeded to start to dig the bullet out.
<Ari> Ariadne "What's going to... OW!" She kicked his shin with her good foot and wiggled around, trying to get away from the forceps. "Just leave it in! It'll come out in a few days. Probably. Jeezus..."
<Doc> "You wanted it out... I was obliging!"
<Ari> Ariadne grumbled and stayed put. Well, as put as was possible.
<Doc> "You might heal faster.. if you don't have debris.. aka a bullet in your arm"
<Ari> Ariadne narrowed her eyes. "It's likely, however it still hurts."
<Doc> "Ari.. " he looks at her pointedly, "Dollface.. do you really think I would do this if the only outcome was pain for you? I'm hurt... No.. I'm wounded..." He gave her a disappointed face, yes.. shamelessly playing on the fact she wasn't herself. Hoping that maybe.. just maybe.. she might remember a bit of his concern for her .. later...*
<Ari> Ariadne could feel herself melting at his sad, curmudgeonly, face. SHe knew he cared and most of this was her own fault for wanted to stop at the shop and ATM before resting. "Obviously not. I'm just not used to not being able to heal my wounds immediately. I know you care."
<Doc> Doc nodded shamelessly. Yes by right he should feel some shame... But he didnt. He pulled out a syringe; he plunged it into her arm. "This will numb it for" he grimaced, "A few minutes." he wasn't sure how long, Vampire physiology wasn't documented. "If I do not get it this time... I will leave it in. Fair?"
<Ari> Ariadne "Hmmm... fair. What was that?" Her arm was tingling as the whatever it was moved slowly through her system, numbing even the burns.
<Doc> "Succinylcholine it is a paralytic. But in our sort.. it just numbs for a while." He pulled out the lead, held within the forceps prongs. "See? Did you feel it?"
<Ari> Ariadne watched as seeped out of the wound and down her arm. It was a startlingly odd sensation to see ones own blood flowing and not be able to feel it. "No. Actually I don't feel a thing right now. It's a tad distressing."
<Doc> "Of course it it.. but with one of these..." He rips open an Israeli field dressing and placed it over the wound, "YOu wont notice it again. I promise." He winked at her again. He toyed with playing with her emotions. Would it not be fuckign great if he could talk her into marrying him? **** yes it would! But .. there was Mortll to consider; so he refrained.
<Doc> Doc stared at Dollface. Hmmm the idea of having her always on him arm....

<Ari> Ariadne wiggled her fingers and grinned. "How interesting. I should come see you every time I get shot up. Normally I just sit alone in my hut or something. This is much nicer. Caring people are nicer."
<Doc> Doc grinned at her, "Of course we are? Why suffer alone? **** that! One shot of this.. and You are Golden. And I get practice... " he looks at her intently, "What do you say.. Ari.. should we make it permanent?"
<Ari> Ariadne "What? Like I'm your patient and you get to play doctor and patch me up when I'm wounded? Might not be a bad arrangement..."
<Doc> Doc sighed. It was enough for now. "Yes! Precisely that!”
<Ari> Ariadne eyed him skeptically. Something was off but in all honestly she couldn't tell what it was. "Alright. That seems reasonable. You'll not be my personal Doc in the event that I need patching and am unable to heal myself. Fair?"
<Doc> Doc looked at her. "I -wont- be?" He rested the back of his hand on her forehead, "You are warmer than you should be. Do you mean.. That.. I -will- be your personal Physician? Rather .. than I -wont- be?"
<Ari> Ariadne "Hmm. Yes. That."
<Doc> “Agreed..as long as you .. Ariadne, agree, to take my advice. I cannot predict your outcome if you can not give me that assurance."
<Ari> Ariadne "Can I promise to consider the advice?"
<Ari> Ariadne wiggled her index finger and smiled as it moved.
<Doc> Doc "Of course. No advice should be take without any question."
<Ari> Ariadne "In that case, yes."
<Doc> Doc gave Ariadne an appreciative look. "You are the woman. I appreciate you."
<Ari> Ariadne "I'm not completely sure what you mean by that, but thank you."
<Doc> Doc smirks. "I mean that you are the consummate upright person." He paused, "other people in your position, would not be so magnanimous."
<Ari> Ariadne "I appreciate you as well, Doc."
<Doc> Doc grins and inclines his head, "Thank you Ari."
<Ari> Ariadne "Well, credit where credit is due. My arm feels lovely. I may need a few more pillows but I believe I'm all set to nap right here for the night."
<Doc> Doc fluffed her pillows and then notice that she had a heads up. He went and collected her some more extra pillow. It was his way of allowing her to keep a head up..>
<Ari> Ariadne reached over and squeezed his arm. 'Thank you, and I do mean that. Not many people would be willing to patch me up, and there are not many I would let touch me when I'm wounded."
<Doc> Doc looked at her. Damn her for making him feel like a ******* heel because he wanted to put her into an awkward position. "yea.. no problem." .. yes it was a problem. But **** if he was going to make this an issue.
<Ari> Ariadne pointed to the couch seat next to her. "Here! Sit and keep me company. We shall chat of many things."

===========
Two days later
===========
<Doc> Doc sits beside Ariadne, "How are you are feeling? All healed from your dance in the raid?"
<Ari> Ariadne "Hmm? Oh, yes. Thank you. Nothing remains. I am thankfully unmarred. It did take a good few days though."
<Ari> Ariadne glanced at his hair curiously. "Thank you for your help as well. I was quite... out of sorts."
<Doc> Doc nodded slowly in agreement. "You were obligingly compliant." He gave her a look. "I was hard pressed not to .. take advantage of the situation. Quite hard pressed."
<Ari> Ariadne snorted at the memory. She hated being wounded and hated needed help even more. Still, Doc had been most helpful in making sure that she hadn't spent the day bleeding out by the elevator. "Would it help if I promised not to do it again?"
<Doc> Doc grinned, "No.. I rather liked the compliant Ari.. " Especially when she pulled her top open. "But Perhaps.. you could be more careful in the future.. and not take quite so many hits..."
<Ari> Ariadne "Actually, I'd already healed two gut wounds when you found me."
<Doc> Doc winced "I hate gut wounds. I try to heal those first as well.."
<Ari> Ariadne reached over and quickly ruffled his hair before looked back at her screen. "As do I. If I had gotten more I doubt I would have made it back at all."
<Doc> "If the situation arises that you cannot make it back.. I can summon you. Patch you up.. and tuck you into bed."
<Doc> "My bed.. but still a bed.."
<Ari> Ariadne "Well, I did make you that promi... never mind."
<Doc> Doc shrugged. 'You probably wouldn't care.
<Doc> "I'd sleep on the couch."
<Doc> Doc winks at her, because he was teasing her.
<Ari> Ariadne "Hmm... On the condition that it is your hut bed."
<Ari> Ariadne "I recall a conversation we had about you not being allowed back in mine."
<Ari> Ariadne "Hut. My hut."
<Ari> Ariadne
<Doc> Doc nodded, "Precisely why I said.. It would be MY bed.. since I am not allowed in yours.."
<Doc> Doc ".. yet.
<Ari> Ariadne "Yet? That sounds as if you expect things to change."
<Doc> Doc grins, "Hope springs eternal." He loved ******* with Ari. She took things so seriously.
<Ari> Ariadne "Interesting outlook. I would not have pegged you for an optimist."
<Doc> Doc shrugs. "Learn something new everyday.. hmm?"
<Ari> Ariadne "I suppose I do. How have you been?"
<Doc> Doc looked at her, the grin fading. "Couple of shitty weeks." He stood up. "I have taken enough of your time." That was Doc-ese for saying, 'I do not wish to talk about me. So I am going to leave now' "I am pleased you are recovered." a smile. "If you need me.. do not hesitate to call me.. "

"--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--"
Doc: Doc sat next to Ariadne at the computers. He looked over her shoulder. "How do you not get bored looking at that hour after hour...?" He really did not get it. It was foreign to him. Maybe if he understood it. Maybe.
Ariadne: "I'm not always here, you know. When I am I have scripts programing and hacks running in addition to my various surveillance outlets, and sometimes I even shop or read the news."
Ariadne: She shrugged. Hackers in Ty were uncommon and she knew of few in the city on her level. "I understand this. I understand it like I understand my businesses, or art. It's like breathing used to be."
Doc: "Alright.. so explain it to me. What are you looking for.. or what are you hoping to accomplish?" He pressed his lips together, "I am not being difficult. I truly do not understand what you are doing. Explain it to me?"
Ariadne: "This" She said, pointing to the window on the screen where her script was running. Lines of code appeared on the screen in rapid succession. "Is Mapper. It's the V6, which I'm programing it for one of the bridge members. If I have enough source codes it helps fill in sections that I need to complete the script. I've been working on this one for a day." She sighed and rolled her neck, feeling the muscles protest at being moved. "Sadly, it requires quite a bit of attention so I can't leave it alone for too long."
Doc: Doc Stood and moved behind and massaged her shoulders as he looked at her screen, "Alight. Mapper. Version six.. once you are done with it.. what will Mapper Version do?" he paused, "Let me back up. You said it requires some attention.. what does that mean? Do you have to fill in missing 'scripts' or add the source codes manually?"
Ariadne: A soft 'coo' escaped her lips and her shoulders sagged momentarily. "Mmm. It means that I can't pause it, so I need to continue monitoring it until it's done. Most of the times the scripts go in as intended but sometimes there are little hiccups that I need to fix manually." She pointed to one spot on a line of code where the numbers were out of sequence. Tapping the backspace key she fixed the transposed parts and nodded. "Once it's finished it will allow a person to actually see the system they're in when they hack. Makes life a lot easier."
docs_dark_path(19:06:29 (UTC)):Doc nodded, as he continued to rub her shoulders, "Makes sense.. to a degree. So i see what you are doing, I do not know that I Would be able to understand .. but you do. When you said ti helps you see the system you are hacking.. I thought most systems are the same.. Windows based right?"
ariadne_atsuko(19:10:18 (UTC)):"You can hack from any computer, and there are about 6 different system layouts, and a different one for the team raids. You can hack without Mapper, but you really have to know the systems. I have them all memorized."
Doc: He frowned slightly as he mulled it over. "So it's not just a simple Windows type of system?" He leaned forward some, pausing his rubbing point to the screen, "That looks nothing like windows to me. When you are hacking is that what the screen looks like?"
Ariadne: "Pretty much. It does take a lot of getting used to and a significant amount of training. Would you believe that I hardly spent any time on computers before I was turned?" She closed her eyes and bent her neck forward a bit as he continued rubbing her sore muscles.
Doc: Doc sighed, he was looking at the screen while rubbing her neck, "I still don't understand the point of it all. Yes I get that you can get into someone else's system and get their files.. but really.. how is that a valuable thing? Broaden my horizon on this.. My virus software tells me .. my computers at work got hacked. So big ******* deal. The files area all encrypted. You have to have the key to understand it. But the key always changes. And I have to run the files through the software, so I can look at them. Then ..even if they get that far, most of them won't know what they are looking at. So what is the point?"
Ariadne: "Encryption software is pretty easy to work around if you have access to the right tools. More importantly, hacking has a variety of uses. During the past election I spent days straight flipping through systems and trying to discover anything on any of the candidates that would give us a leg up. I found a good bit, but not enough. Hacking allows me to collect and report information on Masquerade violators, and it gets me the codes that I need for programming." She looked at at him from her seat and pointed to her screen. "I could go in right now and find either full or partial evidence of vampire activity and make it disappear. "
Doc: 'Really? Can you hack into the banks? Say.. give someone more money than they should have?" His eyes narrowed in thought.
Ariadne: Her eyebrows pulled together as she thought more on is questions. The practical applications were all very well and good, but not all hackers were as principled as she was. "I should probably mention that my activities may not be typical. I very rarely try to harm people or businesses through my activities, but not everyone shares my scruples. People are able to hack into cameras and banks, yes, but it takes some skill to do so. I've never tried to rob someone through hacking. I'm a bit more hands on there."
Doc: Doc filed that bit of information away. it could be useful to get of someone legally by making it look like they were embezzlers. But it would be clear he would have to find someone else to frame them, since Ari just articulated the fact she was ethical. '******* ethics' always there to ruin a great plan. "So you are more 'hands on' what do you mean by that? Other than deleting ****.. what do you do?"
Ariadne: She had to smile at the memory, as it was still one of her favorites. As far as she was aware, no one had ever attempted such a thing either before or after she had. "do you remember a year or so ago when Pratt and his wife put out those radio messages? One was fairly harmless, but the other named some vampires and put them a bit more in the public eye. It was a huge breach. "
Doc: "Yes.. I do remember that.. If only we could have permanently killed his ***..."
Ariadne: "I managed to hack into the HRPD system twice. Not only did I remove any computerized files on the people he named, I may have added a few notable charges to both Pratt and his wife's records."
Ariadne: She picked absently mixed at the hem of her shirt. Not many people knew that she'd done that... "That's just something that I can do. Like I said, I'm not typical. "
Doc: "Fuckk.. " it was a whispered word of awe. "You did that?" He reached down kissed the top of her head. "That was awesome." He moved to sit beside her. "The whole ******* city turned against him." He grinned at her. "And you did that.. " He was impressed. "Well done you.."
Ariadne: "Well. It was in my wheelhouse. I knew I could do it and I was able to do it without help and without anyone knowing. That's my kind of thing to do, and thank you."
Doc: "Something like that, though.. I never heard who outed them That's a big deal. Did people know and I just miss it?" he Looked at her intently, "I suppose you don't really want people to know the extent of your abilities... it lets you skate under the radar so to speak. But seriously..Ariadne, that was an awesome job."
Ariadne: "People do not know. I hold close to the philosophy that if you do something right, people won't know that you've done anything at all." she looked down at her folded hands and twisted her fingers around. "I often worry that if people did know I would be a target. I like and anonymity that hacking gives because I like not being seen. "

"--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--"
Ariadne: "And thank you. For the compliment."
Doc: Doc nodded. He understood that feeling intimately. He felt likewise about his extracurricular activities. "Yes. I can understand that." He didn't elaborate, ironically because he too liked the anonymity. "Your secret is safe with me."
Ariadne: Her reply was slightly delayed as she typed a couple of commands in to finish her script. Sighing with satisfaction she leaned back and gave Doc her full attention. "I do appreciate it. I can only do what I do because I keep it quiet. Going around and bragging about how I can ruin a few people with a couple of keystrokes would rather ruin it all."
Doc: Doc grinned, "Of course, however, I will need a price list from you.. for when I need to destroy someone.."
Ariadne: : "Well, I do occasionally do consults for that sort of thing, and it's mostly for fun or practice, really... "
Doc: "Right.. it would only be for fun.. " He nodded solemnly.
Ariadne: She eyed him skeptically. Generally when Doc asked, he had someone of something in mind for whatever he was asking about.
Ariadne: "You seem out of sorts. Would it help if I hunted small game for you?"
Doc: He frowned slightly, "Small Game?"
Ariadne: "Owl, remember?"
Doc: He grinned like a kid, "Really? Alright!"
Ariadne: "I don't like to see you unduly happy." She closed her eyes and rolled her shoulders a few times. Shifting was still new and she needed a moment to prepare herself.
Doc: "What.. I liked the Owl.. " He said somewhat self consciously.
Ariadne: She changed in the blink of an eye. Feathers sprouted from skin and clothes as her bones cracked and reshaped themselves. In a second an owl stood in the chair that Ari had recently occupied.
Doc: Doc grinned openly and held his arm out for her. He wasn't even bothered if her talon shredded his suit or his arm. "To the balcony?"
Ariadne: Flapping her wings she landed on his arm as lightly as a large bird could, giving her silent consent for them to head outside.
Doc: Doc was enamoured with the owl. He had to resist from stroking her. He made sure to more carefully and without making any hasty moves. He wasn't sure how much was owl and how much was Ari. He took her out to the balcony. He choose an area where she would have plenty of room to get airborne easily. "This looks like a good.. do you agree?"
Ariadne: Her head bobbed a few times in response and she turned her body out towards the open air. Spreading her wings she lifted off and fell a few feet from the balcony, gliding effortlessly into the wilderness.
Doc: As she took off, he moved forward to watch her sweep into the night sky silently. He watched her, until the trees blocked his vision.
Ariadne: She returned about 10 minutes later, gliding down from a taller perch and landing on the balcony railing near him. Clutched in her right talon was a small bundle of brown and white fur. She leaned over and nipped gently at him before looking at the animal she held and his hand, hoping that he would hold it out in response.
Doc: He held out his hand, she had said she would hunt small game, and sure enough she did. He almost wanted to gush. He have never really been that fascinated with birds, until he was able to be this close. "So what did you get..?"
Ariadne: The owl dropped what appeared to be a small stoat into Doc's hand. The creature, likely being in shock, obligingly played dead for a few moments before it popped up and tried to find a way out of its predicament.
Doc: Doc eyed the creature. "Looks like a ferret.. " He looked it over and then rubbed it "You didn't even hurt it.. there's no blood.." He grinned at the Owl, "Even now you are gentle."
Ariadne: She let out a single hoot and flapped her wings once gently, shifting back to herself and keeping a firm grip on the railing where she sat. "Hunting doesn't mean killing. Besides, stoats are cute." She said, grinning and swinging her bare feet beneath her skirt
Doc: "They are.. " He held out the Stoat for Ari to pet, "It's.. so cute.." he petted it some more. "Its very cat like."
Ariadne: She rubbed the stoat's head a few times. "I'm glad you like it. I thought that a stoat may be better than a mouse or something, and I feel odd about hunting other owls."
Ariadne: Doc looked at her for a long moment as he cradled the stoat. finally, he said, "I can shift. I've only done it a couple of times."
Ariadne: "Can you? I haven't actually talked to anyone about it yet, aside from you. Do you like it?"
Doc: "I didn't hate it. I stalked the spawn.. Dominique.. She named me Mittens.. " He sighed.
Ariadne: "Mitt..." Now it was her turn to grin. "Mittens? Are you some form of cat?"
Doc: "Yes.. and she pets me and calls me Mr Mittens. I don't really know how big I am.. I think I am decent size.. but.. Mr. Mittens? **** me? thats emasculating.."
Ariadne: "Are you a house cat? That's the only kind of cat I would consider calling a cutesy little name. "
Doc: "No.. I am a Puma.. ? Based on Dominique's size I come up to her waist.. maybe just under it?" He grimaces , "But I don't see myself.. I don't know if I am demented looking or what.."
Ariadne: "Hmmm. I think she's a bit shorter than I am?" She glanced at him slyly. "You could change and I promise to give you an honest opinion. "
Doc: "I could.. but I might eat this little guy.. so another time I think.. " Yes he was still unsure about shifting in front of anyone yet. he knew he could trust Ari. But still there was something that he couldn't put his finger on. He wasnt ready yet.
Ariadne: "That sounds reasonable. Also, I think it's cute that you're worried about eating the stoat and not me." She nudged her leg with her foot. "I intend to start calling you 'tiger'. Just so you know."
Doc: "He's kind of cute.. " he petted the Stoat, "And I am not ******* soft.. either.. " He ignored the rest of what she said.
Ariadne: "I never even implied that you were and frankly, I'm in insulted that you would think I thought that."
Doc: "Insulted or not.. Its the go to reaction MOST people would say.."
Ariadne: "Have we forgotten that I'm not more people? I would consider you as soft as I would consider myself cuddly, which would mean 'not very'. "
Doc: "I consider you cuddly." He looked at her nonplussed. "You may not think so.. but I do."
Ariadne: She slipped down off of the balcony and pet the unnamed stoat again. "You just say that because you like the bird."
Doc: "I ******* love that bird.. more than I .. imagined." He grinned at her again, "You have to see it from my eyes. That's raw power..." he nodded, "Its impressive."
Ariadne: “It is, and it took a lot of getting used to.” Her phone buzzed with an alert and she hopped down off of the balcony. “There seems to be a raid. I shall leave you and Carlton to get acquainted. Any time you need small game, you give me a call, ok” Giving the stoat a quick pat on the head she wandered back inside to find her shoes and her guns.

"--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--"
Doc: Doc took his usual seat beside Ariadne at the computer area in Eyrie. He was still irked from the events from the night before. Part of him didn't understand why it bothered him so much, and the yet on the other hand it seemed like he was surrounded by people that just didn't think. Period. And his own flaws came out and stood in stark relief to his eyes as he reflected over the night. He pushed it. He couldn't just keep his mouth shut. No. he had to push it, to the point that he almost lost Kenlie. He sat beside Ari not saying a word, but clearly he was stewing.
Ariadne: Part of her was pleased that Doc always knew where to find her without really trying. The other part was almost saddened by her predictability. Her shoulder twitched slightly as she felt the unease roll off of him within seconds of his sitting down by her. "Can I assume that you've had a less than ideal day?"
Doc: "I fucked up again." He said without preamble. Had it been anyone else that had asked him that, he would have smiled his usual knowing smile and said something cryptic. But with Ariadne, he knew he could be bluntly honest and she wouldn't take him to task unless he deserved it. She also wouldn't tell him, he was right.. unless she really meant it. Ariadne was his social gauge. She would tell him, just how bad he fucked up, and how to look at it.. in order to fix it. It was ironic, since the two of them, both tended to have social issues. But he knew he could trust her for truly unbiased reactions.. and not telling what he might want to hear instead.
Ariadne: She closed her computer and turned to him with her full attention. Doc didn't always come to her when he felt that he had made mistakes, but when he did it was generally something that he couldn't muddle through on his own. These matters required full and serious consideration. "what happened?"
Doc: He looked at her. Then he squinted his eyes closed, "I got into a fight with Kenlie and Victor.. at that ******* bar." He rubbed his eyes. He knew he should give her the details, but he didn't want to see that look of disappointment in her eyes.
Ariadne: "That in and of itself doesn't sound so bad, so I'll ask again... What happened?"
Doc: "Fine. Fine!" He growled low in his throat, it was a growl of frustration, "I went to that ******* bar to see if they had seen Catherine,.. that was the last place anyone saw her. I walk in.. its mostly quiet, Victor comes downstairs.. all smug as ****, while Kenlie is screaming bloody murder from upstairs. I can hear her flailing about, cursing at victor. I stay cool. Then, this kid.. maybe 16 years old.. comes bebopping into the bar like she ******* owns it. She sashays her tight little *** behind the bar and drapes herself on Victor. I.. might have .. said something vulgar.." he blows that bit off, "Victor got pissed.."
Ariadne: "Wait. Victor is dating Kenlie, who is indisposed presumably due to the man in question, and a minor is in a BAR and all over in a very physical sense. Do I have it about right?"
Doc: "Yea.. the child.. is a vampire. Victor's apparently. He said I was disrespectful.. I said I was merely treating his childe .. the way he treated mine." He made a disgusted face, "He turned a ******* child."
Ariadne: "Did you say the vulgar thing to Victor, the... child, or both?"
Doc: "The child.. " He shrugged, and then grudgingly said, "I might have called Victor a thickhead..for allowing a child in a place like that.. that he was **** for brains for allowing and that I didn't do anything no other biker, gang member.. or thug would do.. in my place."
Ariadne: She rubbed the back of her neck and sighed. Times like this made her glad that she only had one childe and there were no serious moments of drama associated with him. "Ok, a few things here. Before I get in to it, did you know that the girl was his before you made the comment?"
Doc: "No.. " That was the truth.. "It wasn't until he admitted she was his.. that I really got angry. A ******* child! At first I thought she was another piece of ***.. but then he admits its his kid.. One. He turned a ******* child. Condemning her to an eternity of never being taken seriously. And then two. Allowing her to prance about in a bar.. what the **** happens if he's not there when she bebops in there? You think someone isn't going to try to take what she has on display? ******* idiot."
Ariadne: "Ok, so let's take this one thing at a time. First, random girl walks into a bar and you hit on her. I consider this acceptable not only because I know how you operate, but because it is a bar and the people therein should be considered of age.

Doc: Doc's eyes narrow slightly. So far so good. "Alright.. " his tone cautious.
Ariadne: Regardless of it being his childe. You didn't know, so he shouldn't be blaming you for the comments since its likely they would have been made at any attractive female in the vicinity... depending on your mood, of course."
Ariadne: "Second, I don't know if I've met Victor, but my opinion of him is seriously decreased because he had the complete and utter lack of insight to sire a teenager. You are correct in that he has made her life forever difficult because she will always look like she belongs in a high school. It will likely ruin her life if she matures and starts seeking things generally found in the adult lifestyle, like going to bars or being taken at all seriously."
Ariadne: "You see the problems with the situation, and it appears that he is either kind to them or ignoring them for that sake of his own ego."
Ariadne: "Siring children in not to be taken lightly. In my opinion, he and the childe should both be killed."
Doc: Doc looked at her. He wanted to grab her and kiss her. He felt vindicated! He didn't grab her. But only just. "Thank you.. I know my way probably wasn't as .. tactful as I could have been. But damn.. yes! I ******* agree. There is no place in this city for a vampire child."
Ariadne: "There are too many of them already... Though I have not heard from the kindergarten aged ones in some time. The nicest thing I could possibly say about Victor at this point is that the girl he sired was closer to the age of majority than others I have seen."
Doc: "Yes.. exactly.. Only then Kenlie comes down.. and **** if she doesn't take his side. So.. I might have gotten a bit .. angrier.."
Ariadne: She raised an eyebrow and propped her right arm on the desk so she could rest her chin there while she waited for him to continue.
Doc: "I.. might have.. told her to release me from my obligation to her.. "
Ariadne: "So you were very upset that she took his side and acted on emotion?"
Doc: Doc made his 'yes I fucked up' face. "Yes."
Ariadne: "That's unusual. Says a lot about how bad the argument probably was. Did she agree to it?"
Doc: "No.. she didn't agree. Which I am grateful for. But I cannot.. no I will not go back to that bar. That is tantamount to condoning what he .. they are doing."
Ariadne: "Honestly? I would say that's reasonable. You and Kenlie can still have a relationship without the bar or the girl. "
Doc: He remained silent for a long moment. "What if she wont talk to me? What if she's changed her mind and she does want to cut ties? What do I do then? Do I let her go?" He rubbed his forehead, "I never used to react so quickly."
Ariadne: "I think that you need to give her a few days before you two sit down and try to have a logical conversation about what happened and why you reacted the way you did."
Doc: "And how exactly .. would I start that conversation?" His way would be 'sit down we need to talk.' He knew that would not go over well.
Ariadne: "If she changed her mind there's not much you can do about it. You made the statement and I know that you know you'll need to deal with it eventually. "
Ariadne: "Ask her over. Just ask her to talk."
Doc: He sighed. "Yeah..." It was a resigned sounding expression. "Before I call her.. and ask to see her.. I may need a pep talk.. "
Ariadne: She sat back and considered his situation. Uncomfortable as it was for her to consider, it must be harder to deal with in person. "Actually, would you prefer a mostly uninvolved third party to be present?"
Doc: "Yes.. that might be a good idea.. It would keep me from..exploding if things go south.."
Ariadne: "I believe that this would be the part where I offer myself up, yes?"
Doc: Doc grinned at her. The grin wasn't huge, it was tempered due to the severity of the conversation they had had. "Thank you Ari..l Accept."
Ariadne: "You are welcome. We can even use my house if you would also prefer a neural environment."
Doc: "Thank you Ari, again. neutral may be best."
Ariadne: "Just let me know what is needed and when." She gave him an appraising glancé as she tried to gauge his mood. "Feeling and better?"
Doc: He nodded, "I will, and Yes, I am feeling quite a bit better actually.. Thank you."

"--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--"
Doc: Doc was sitting beside Ari at the computers in Eyrie. Ari was studiously hunched over her computer watching something she explained to him a few days ago. But he had already forgotten most of it. He only remembered that she needed to watch the code in case she needed to correct it. The woman clung to that computer like it was her newborn child. It was unhealthy. The only time she spent time away from the computer was when she was in a raid. "Ari..."
Ariadne: The weather outside had been cold, gray, and disgusting all day, which severely dampened her will to leave her snug little corner of the tree. There were no events scheduled at the winery and she had felt comfortable leaving FInley to oversee the shop portion of it while she took a day off for herself. Doc had found her a little while ago curled up and basking in the glow of her monitors. "Hmm?"
Doc: "When was the last time you stood up and actually walked away from that screen?"
Ariadne: "Yesterday? I went out for a bit and did some hunting. I'm not going outside today though... have you seen it out there? Messy and unpleasant. I dislike it immensely."
Doc: Doc nodded grimly, "I thought as much. All work and no play.. makes Ariadne a very dull girl. Things should be done in moderation Ari. And you are being obsessive with that laptop." he looked at her pointedly, "I think if I took it away from you.. you would shoot me." He made a move to take the laptop.
Ariadne: She quickly closed her laptop and set it in her lap. "Need I remind you that this very laptop has saved you phone a few times. It would be terrible if it got lost again and no one were able to find it, would it not?"
Doc: Her reaction was exactly what he presumed would happen. He was proven right. "It would indeed. I have the worst ******* luck with phones. However.. I think it would be in your best interests to do something .. new and spontaneous." he held up a finger, "That doesn't include a computer."
Ariadne: "This is highly suspicious. Dare I ask what you have in mind? I assume you have something, else it is unlikely that you would mention it."
Doc: Doc shrugged, he did and he didn't. He knew Ari needed a break, and Cat was Awol. Cat was who he watched movies with. It wasn't exactly the same without Cat. He felt Ari would make a suitable replacement until Cat showed up. It was hard to explain. Cat didn't get all excited and shush you if you made a random comment, in fact she would pick the movies apart like he did. "A movie.. I got a new to me Movie.. been wanting to watch it."
Ariadne: "A... movie? Like a sit on the couch and watch movie?" She narrowed her eyes at him. "What sort of movie?"
Doc: "Yes.. sit on a chair or sofa and watch a movie.. How do you usually watch movies?"
Ariadne: She gave him a slightly perplexed look. "I don't."
Doc: "All the more to do it then." he stood up. "Come on.."
Ariadne: She slipped her computer into its bag and stood. "You never said what kind of movie..."
Doc: "Have a little faith.. " He smiled and held out his hand to her, actually he was half afraid if he told her, she would say no immediately. "It's like a cult type movie.. you could say.."
Ariadne: "Faith I have. However, curiosity does tend to get the better of me." She took his hand, still glaring.
Doc: "It will be fun.. " He slid a look at her as they headed up, "I usually watch them with Cat.. we dissect them.. take them apart.. I think you would be good at that."
Ariadne: "I think you overestimate my abilities. Where is Cat anyway?"
Doc: "Don't know.. and I got a good deal on this blu ray and I want to watch it." He opened the door, "After you.."
Ariadne: She'd only been in Doc's place maybe once or twice before. Nodding, she entered and stood awkwardly inside and to the right of the door.
Doc: "Have a seat.. " He headed straight for the remote, yes the disc was already loaded. He hit one button and everything came on. The opening screen of the USS Enterprise was doing a 360, while the word "Play" was highlighted. "Ready?"
Ariadne: She sat down and fluffed her skirt, thankful for the extra layers. Even though the concept of being too hot or too cold was behind her, some days she still felt as if she needed something to curl up in. Her laptop was set on the floor by her feet and remained in its bag. "Ah, yes... I think so."
Doc: Doc hit play and sat down, he got comfortable. "I never saw the show. I was told.. you don't have to be a fan like it. I will be the judge.. " He paused, "Have you seen the show?"
Ariadne: "I... no. I can't say that I've ever heard of it." She watched as the Enterprise came up on the screen. "Is that a spaceship?"
Doc: "Its ******* huge.. if it is... "
Doc: "They get straight to the action...don't they... I am liking this."
Ariadne: "They do. It seems unlikely that it will end well for them. I distrust the man with the face tattoos. He seems sketchy."
Doc: "Psyche has face tattoos ... is he sketchy?"
Ariadne: "So does Jesse, and it's not about the tattoos. The lighting, the way he moves... I do not trust him at all. They’re setting him up to be sinister."
Doc: "Good call.."
Ariadne: "Seeing as he just killed the, what, the captain? Yes."
Doc: "A baby.. Now? Gah.."
Doc: "I do rather like the music however..."
Ariadne: "She must understand though. Once the hormones wear off she'll see that he was correct and she'll be fine."
Ariadne: She nodded. Soothing music for ill timed babies.
Doc: "If they are that close to a star.. how are they not being sucked in?"
Ariadne: "I believe that they expect us to suspend belief because it makes the escape seem all the more dramatic and heart wrenching."
Doc: "Oh **** no.. this is.. wrong.. He is going to wreck it.. I don't know that I can watch that.."
Ariadne: "See, that may have been worse than suicide daddy. The poor car. It did nothing wrong."
Doc: Doc stared in disgust at the screen.
Doc: "I would ******* kill him. There would be no movie."
Ariadne: "With a car like that..."
Doc: She eyed her laptop and wondered if she could find a similar car for sale.
docs_dark_path: 'Well they got a response."
Ariadne: "I imagine that it was not the one they expected. Also, I quite like the... Vulcans?"
Doc: Doc lifted an eyebrow and looked at her. Then he looked back at the screen.
Ariadne: "What? They seem quite reasonable."
Doc: "Oh.. Ouch.. did you hear that.. that was an insult!"
Ariadne: "I don't think he really meant what he said."
docs_dark_path: "Live long and prosper..more like '******* choke and die'"
Ariadne: "Agreed. "
Doc: "She is hot..."
Ariadne: "You think that the grand majority of women are hot."
Doc: "Um.. watch the movie."
Ariadne: She smirked.
Doc: : He burst out laugh.. "way to cop a feel.."
Ariadne: "You would know, yes?"
Doc: *Doc grinned*
Ariadne: "Hmm. Yes indeed."
Doc: "Throw down that gauntlet.. he can't walk away from that .. not unless he's a coward." He shrugged, "So far I am liking it..
Ariadne: "If he didn't go there wouldn't be a rest of the movie."
Doc: "Those crafty script writers.."
Ariadne: "That guy seems like he should be hiding in a cabin somewhere."
Doc: "I like him.. he has character."
Doc: "Yes.. thats a mood killer.."
Doc: "Shes ... green."
Ariadne: "Green? Yes, she is."
Doc: "She is hot.."
Doc: "Her.. not the green one"
Ariadne: "No green ladies for Doc. Noted."
Doc: Doc grinned at her, "But Uhura.. yes please."
Ariadne: "I suppose we'll have to discover time travel now."
Ariadne: "I want to visit Vulcan."
Doc: "Really?" He frowns. "hmmm..."
Ariadne: "Yes, really."
Doc: "You like the cold aloof type.." He looked at the screen.."Uhura and pointed eared ********? Thats just wrong.."
Ariadne: "You think she's more likely to become involved with Kirk?"
Doc: "She seems too passionate for him.."
Ariadne: "Too passionate for Kirk?"
Doc: "No the pointy eared ********..."

"--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--"
Ariadne: "I think they may actually work. I feel like she and Kirk would implode, and not in a delightful way."
Ariadne: "What is that thing they keep doing with the screen? It looks like when you stare at a light bulb for too long."
Doc: "So you think a cool aloof person and a passionate one would work? Interesting.."
Doc: "I noticed that too.. annoying"
Doc: "How old is this kid?! God our lives in the hand of a 15 year old?"
Ariadne: "He seems nic... good lord. What happened to his hands?!"
Doc: "Obviously an allergic reaction"
Doc: He cant help it .. he starts laughing..
Ariadne: "I feel like this is getting overly complicated,."
Doc: *is concentrating on the screen*
Doc: *softly* ****…
Ariadne: "How does that gigantic ship even function? It seems structurally unsound in multiple ways and decidedly unsuited for space travel."
Doc: "And you would know this because of your intimate knowledge in .. aerospace?"
Ariadne: "It looks like a gigantic space urchin. I've seen sea urchins and they don't move easily."
Doc: "Ah your intimate knowledge of sea urchins.. of course.. how silly of me.."
Ariadne: "I have a great many interests."
Doc: "As I am learning.. See.. this has been beneficial already..
Ariadne: "Everyone on the ship seems to be promoted either by luck or gross incompetence."
Doc: "The Doctor got his because his predecessor bought it..."
Ariadne: "Luck."
Doc: "Why are they jumping?"
Ariadne: "I believe that they don't have another way to get there. It's still a ridiculous idea."
Doc: "No way that would work."
Ariadne: "Well it obviously failed for one of them...:
Doc: "66% success rate is still pretty damn bad."
Doc: "And why did they take their helmets off... that was more protection?
Ariadne: "Impaired field of vision though."
Ariadne: "Wait, do the tattoo guys have green blood?"
Doc: "Apparently.."
Doc: "There are a lot of things in this movie.. that isn’t possible."
Ariadne: She gestured wildly at the screen. "That seems highly improbable. I know I'm not a scientist and yes, this is a movie, but still..."
Doc: "I agree! No.. that.. Just no."
Doc: "That was.. unexpected."
Ariadne: "Yes. He seems upset."
Doc: 'Simple mining vessel. There is your answer.. its a mere mining vessel."
Ariadne: "I still say that it seems ungainly for space travel.”
Doc: "Perhaps.."
Ariadne: "I really like the Vulcan."
Doc: "I rather like the Doctor.."
Ariadne: "Do you now?"
Doc: "He was fast on his feet.. He got Kirk aboard didn't he?"
Doc: "14 kilometers.. in that kind of extreme weather? No."
Ariadne: She wrapped her arms closely around herself. "Do you have a throw blanket? Looking at the cold appears to make me think that I’m actually cold."
Doc: "Yes.. Sure.. " Doc got up and came back with a blanket. "Here.. It's clean.."
Ariadne: "Thank you." She unfolded it over her lap and smiled, settling back to watch more of the movie. "Wait, the old Vulcan is the same as the young one?"
Doc: *Frowns* "Apparently....as best I can tell..."
Ariadne: "Remember what I said about this being overly complicated?"
Doc: "I am still enjoying it.."
Ariadne: "I'm not saying that I'm not."
Doc: "I do like that Doctor.."
Ariadne: She smirked again and picked at the blanket.
Doc: "Ok the Scot is my new character.."
Doc: "Why would they have such large water tubes... and wouldn't the water be radioactive or something?
Ariadne: “I expect that he should die, however I get the feeling he won’t.”
Doc: "Hahahaha .. Cupcake."
Doc: "Well he succeeded.. "
Ariadne: “Yes, against the terrible odds of the conveniently built water… thing.”
Doc: "I like that Doctor!"
Ariadne: "The doctor is acceptable."
Ariadne: "Things appear to be looking up slightly!"
Doc: "There were.. until.. now that they are drilling in Earth.. to create a singularity.. "
Ariadne: "Well yes. What I meant was that they have a lead on the captain."
Doc: "Ah.. Yes.. because saving one.. at the cost of a planet is the way to go.. " He winked at her.
Ariadne: Tuts. "Fine. Be pessimistic. Between finding the small future ship and the captain, I think they will turn it around."
Doc: "Of course they will.. there is sequel.. they have to succeed.
Ariadne: "There is? Interesting."
Doc: "The proper response would be ... fascinating.. I believe."
Ariadne: "Were I a vulcan, yes."
Doc: "You seemed fond of him"
Ariadne: "Even though he does not exist, we are kindred spirits."
Doc: *makes a mental note of this*
Ariadne: "And that was just... I can only suspend belief so much."
Doc: "I do like that Scot…”
Ariadne: "He's quite cheerful."
Doc: "The Doctor and the Scot.."
Ariadne: "They're quite different."
Ariadne: "But yes, both have their good points."
Doc: "Uhura.. for all her hotness.. seemed angry and bitter.. "
Ariadne: "A little, yes. Not quite your cup of tea?"
Ariadne: She covered her eyes at the brightness from the screen.
Doc: "I admit.. I do not care for angry and bitter."
Ariadne: "It is fairly unappealing."
Ariadne: "I think I like old Spock better. He seems to have found a good middle ground between his logic and his feelings, if there is such a thing."
Doc: Doc grins at Ari.. "I Implied..."
Ariadne: "You often imply." She tries to do the thing the Spock did with his hand.
Doc: *Doc grinned at her* Now you know my secret…
Ariadne: She stares at him. "Now? I always know. I just never said anything."
Doc: Doc nodded, "Of course.."
Ariadne: "Wouldn't want everyone knowing, now would I?"
Doc: "Of course not, how obtuse of me."
Doc: "I found that movie enjoyable. Next time I watch it.. I will be able to concentrate on the details that I missed this time.."
Ariadne: "It was good, even if parts were hard to believe."
Doc: Doc looked at her, "See .. a couple of hours away from the laptop didn't kill you. And you got to experience a cult movie."
Ariadne: "No, it did not kill me, and yes I did."
Doc: "Thank you.. for allowing me to force some down time on you."
Ariadne: "You are welcome. And thank you... for taking an interest. I know you're quite busy and it was enjoyable, even if I was a temporary replacement."
Doc: "You were a very good replacement. I now realize I can choose who to view movies with."
Ariadne: "Perhaps we shall do it again?" She stood and folded up the blanket he had lent her before stooping to pick up her bag and shouldering it.
Doc: "Of course.. " He canted his head to the side, "How do you feel about violence?"
Ariadne: "Ah. I suppose it would depend on what kind?"
Doc: "I am trying to gauge what type of movies you would.. or .. would not care for?"
Ariadne: "I am generally not a fan of gore."
Doc: "Agreed." He could get real gore.. fake gore did nothing for him. "I am not big on comedies.."
Ariadne: "Drama or action?"
Doc: "I prefer action.. but I like Drama as well. And historicals. Someone gave me Gone with the Wind. It was ******* long as hell.. but believable and watchable."
Ariadne: "That I have never seen. Historical movies would be quite nice."
Doc: "alright.. what about Fantasy? I have heard good things about Wizard of Oz?"
Ariadne: "Please keep in mind that I generally don't know anything about movies. If you have one you'd like to watch, let me know and I'll research it. Does that sound fair?"
Doc: "Alright.. I have the Wizard of Oz.. I mentioned it in passing to Cat and she rolled her eyes. I am not a fan of watching them by myself."
Ariadne: I will read up on it for our next meeting."
Doc: Doc nodded. "Thank you for coming."
Ariadne: "Thank you for having me. I look forward to the next one."
Doc: Doc walked her to the door, "Me too.. Have a good evening Ari."

"--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--"
Ariadne: Ari left the store after selling off a bunch of fairly usless stuff that she had picked up in the castle. Noticing Doc, she made her way over to the computers and nudged him. "Are you occupied this evening?"
Doc: Doc nudged her back with his shoulder, as he checked the auctions for things that might be useful and cheap. He looked up at her. "No really.. you have something in mind?"
Ariadne: "I have aquired a film. I was informed that it is good. If you are free, I would like to request your company. I think we decided that it would be my pick after the last time..."
Doc: Doc logged out of the auction, and shut the laptop. "I thought you liked the movie? Granted it did stretch the bounds of what a human body can do.. but it was entertaining. Yes?" He looked to see if she carried the movie with her, they had agreed, she could pick next movie. But for some reason he seemed.. wary. "What kind of movie did you pick?"
Ariadne: "I did like it. If I didn't, I wouldn't be willing to watch more." She pulled out her phone and opened the synopsis that she has found earlier. "It's about a disabled boy who gets kidnapped. His mom and siblings were all murdered by a serial killer.... apparently his dad tracks him and travels thousands of miles to try and rescue him."
Doc: Doc lifts an eyebrow at the description. This sounded promising. He vaguely recalled a movie like that, one which he had wanted to see. But he thought it was daughter that kidnapped, not a son. The title was "taken" he recalled. An action film, But not at all the type of movie he thought she would pick. Surprising. He grinned at her, "Very good.. Your place hut or mine?"
Ariadne: "If I recall, my hut is a tad more comfortable than yours, what with the large TV and the couch and all. The movie has already been downloaded. Do you need to get anything before we start?"
Doc: "Alright, your hut it is. And I don't think I need anything.. " He stood and straightened his jacket. What should he need? Was she alluding to something he should understand, and yet didn’t? He adjusted his tie. "After you..."
Ariadne: She nodded and headed towards the elevator, holding the door for him before hitting the button for the third floor. She sent a quick text before stepping off and heading for her hut. "I have a few bottles of blood if you'd like something." She unlocked her hut door and stepped in, leaving it open behind her. "A new batch just came in and I always like to take a few for myself when they do."
Doc: Doc followed her into the hut, and shut the door behind him. "I am fine for the moment, but I wouldn't mind trying it later perhaps?" He had a thing about drinking in front of others. He, himself, wasn't even aware he had this particular inhibition. In public gatherings and other social events, he never partook in front of someone.
Ariadne: "No worries. Please, have a seat." Ari grabbed two glasses from the cupboard and placed them on the table with a bottle of blood. Settling into her seat she glanced over at him and picked up the remote. "Ready?"
Doc: Doc sat on the sofa and got comfortable and nodded as she asked if he was ready. "Yes.. please.. go ahead.. " The menu set up on the screen, wasn't exactly what he expected, but movies these days, its all about color and drawing the eye in. The colors were pretty, however, he wasn't sure what animated anemones had to so with a Serial killer movie.
Ariadne: "I... I'm not sure this is the right one..."
Doc: "I .. " He stopped, "Lets give it a minute...?"
Doc: "Do you think this is all animated?"
Ariadne: "It looks that way." She glanced at the screen. "Why are the fish talking? Fish do not talk."
Doc: "it's .. Marlin Jr? Marlin Jrs? How ridiculous is that?"
Ariadne: "That was a bad move. Protecting the young is always a bad move."
Ariadne: "And it's utterly ridiculous. He'd never be able to tell them apart."
Doc: "Precisely.. and You're right.. don't protect the egg.. that just alerts the predator to the eggs.. giving him the upper hand! Stupid fish. And now shes dead."
Ariadne: "I dislike the father. He's very overprotective."
Doc: "Over-protective prick.. He's going to give the kid a neurosis."
Doc: "And OCD anyone?"
Ariadne: "I see that he moved. Nice secluded area this time."
Ariadne: "Well, his wife was an idiot and got killed for leaving the anemone. He's taking it a bit far though..."
Doc: "In and out.. and in and out.. just brings attention to you.. He will get the kid killed.."
Ariadne: "If the seahorse was H2O intolerant, he would likely be dead."
Doc: "I like the sting ray."
Ariadne: "He's quite enthusiastic."
Doc: "The Drop off?" He looked at her, "Should I know what the drop off is?"
Ariadne: "If I recall, it's where the father had his first home and where the wife was killed."
Ariadne: She snerked as the little octopus inked.
Doc: "Ah... " Doc then snickered at the pink thing. "She inked..."
Ariadne: "Indeed! How mortifying."
Doc: "This is where the kid tried to prove himself.."
Ariadne: "By touching the butt..."
Doc: "It's what little boys do.."
Ariadne: "It looks like kind of an old butt. He wouldn't prefer something more age appropriate?"
Doc: "Little boys don't really care.. a butt is a butt.."
Ariadne: "Disturbing."
Doc: "There is no way that fish can keep up with that but.. boat.."
Ariadne: "No, and now he's completely out of his correct habitat."
Doc: "What is her problem?"
Ariadne: "Inability to form new memories?"
Doc: Doc rubbed his brow. "I would kill her. I would choke life out of her."
Ariadne: "Anterograde amnesia..."
Ariadne: "A shark would not go after prey that small. The amount of energy burned to catch them would not equal the amount gained from eating them."
Doc: 'This movie.. jumps from.. point to another point.. without finishing " He sighed, "Are you following this movie?"
Ariadne: "Yes. Though the idea that sharks seem to have some form of Carnivores Anonymous is fairly absurd."
Doc: "Yes.. and it seems you were proved correct."
Ariadne: "Impressive mine field though."
Doc: Doc burst out laughing at the pelicans.
Ariadne: Ari narrowed her eyes at him. "Were you just amused by a fart joke?"
Doc: Doc grinned at her, "Guilty.. it was funny."
Ariadne: "Male funny."
Ariadne: "I like the shrimp."
Ariadne: "So, I get the impression that at least two of those fish are insane..."
Doc: "I like the starfish... She's fun."
Doc: "Hmmm. Darla is bad news it seems."
Ariadne: "As is this questionable new fish."
Doc: "He is right! I like that new fish."
Ariadne: "I dislike his narrowed eyes. He looks like he's up to something."
Doc: Doc looked at her, "Really.. you dislike him due to his narrow eyes..?"
Ariadne: "That they are constantly narrowed? Yes."
Doc: "Did you see the scar? Maybe it hurts?"
Doc: "Angler fish.. "
Ariadne: She chuckled at Dory's dialogue in the dark.
Doc: "Ok.. not the angler fish I was thinking of.. but pretty close.."
Doc: : "So what happened to the barracuda that ate his wife and kids?"
Ariadne: "No idea. Perhaps we'll encounter it later?"
Ariadne: "Are these fish in a cult?"
Doc: Doc snickers, "WannaHockaloogie.."
Ariadne: "I do like the shrimp."
Doc: "If.. just if that works.. they are in a bag..."
Ariadne: "They'll never get out. The puffer fish may have the best chance of poking holes in his, but it is a long shot."
Doc: "And she already forget...Through the trench.."
Ariadne: "That is the tiniest jellyfish ever."
Ariadne: "And there are the big jellyfish!”
Doc: "This is very bad..."
Doc: "I would kill her."
Ariadne: "It's not ideal, no. And yes, it would."
Ariadne: "Though she appears to be completely oblivious to this."
Ariadne: "No Dory… She is missing."
Ariadne: "Still want to kill her?"
Doc: "Yes. "
Doc: "She for all her help.. is a detriment to his task."
Ariadne: "This seems like a bad plan. I still dislike Gill."
Doc: "See he did it.. "
Doc: "You just don't like him because hes scared."
Ariadne: She folds her arms in an 'I told you so' gesture as the pebble slips.
Ariadne: "Untrue. His scars mean nothing."
Doc: "See?! He's not all bad.. He was trying to save the kid."
Ariadne: "After he put him in danger."
