She sat at her desk within the Library. She hadn’t got anything planned she didn’t know what to do with her person, that she won from the auction. When she re read over her card she had noticed the man was after friends. Nothing special, well she could offer him friendship. She wondered in that moment if he liked books. Mora loved books, she lived with books and the stories they told. She had an obsession. It was enough for her to own a library and letting people share her stories.
She sent a text to the man she had won, pulling out her phone from her pocket.
Hey, it’s Mora. You free tonight? If you are come to Honeymead Library.
She clicked send and pocketed her phone in her black skinny jeans. Before turning off the monitor of her Apple Mac, the one thing she loved and adored in this small apartment above the Library. The scent of books old, and new filled her nostrils as she got up grabbed any balls of paper and chucked them into the bin.
She then waited for a reply fro Tobais, as she began to flit around the apartment tidying up the place if she was going to have company, she was terrible for having a messy apartment when company was coming over. She was going to change that. (for once.)

"yeah, i can be right over, just give me a few" He sends back rather happy after at long last receiving a message from his buyer. He had almost begun to fear that he would never hear from her. He heads there right now, his companion as of late had head out of town, or so he believed. To top it all off she was asking the meet at a library, it couldn't get any better.
Some time later his own two feet had carried him to the building, he enters quietly and his eyes light up at all the glorious books within. As he walked through the shelves looking for his host he could not help but take a book here and there. In no time he had a small stack cradled in his arms like a stack of precious artifacts and was not overly paying attention to where he was heading. He cursed loudly after a loud thunk when he walked into a reading desk. He steadied his wobbling books and looks around to see if he disturbed anyone.
"Mora?" he calls quietly remembering the reason he came here in the first place, he had gotten so distracted by all the books he had all but forgotten about her.
She had managed to get the apartment looking presentable before she got a reply from Tobais, it hadn’t been that long – ten minutes maybe. She grinned and sent him another text of acknowledgement before heading down into the main library area to greet the man she had won, she had paid a fair bit of money for him. Mora felt she had an obligation to make herself known to the newest members of the vampire community, silently guiding them from afar. It was how she was, it was in her blood and she needed to do it. When she found out this man she had won was fairly new herself. Well, she knew she had to have him.
So she kept bidding until finally, she won him. She had sent her funds to Pi, and then to Tobais. Now, two weeks later she was setting up their date – or something like that, or to that effect. She can hear people plucking books from their shelves. Even a few turning pages. She loved that sounds, the found of fingertips brushing against the pages. She laughed until she saw a man, a man that matched the male she had won. He had a pile of books in his hands as she laughed. Leaning her elbows against the counter.
”Mora is me. Hello.”
She said with a snicker, looking down at the books again she brushed her fingers. He could have them he wanted, it was so nice to see someone who had a passion for books.
”Tobais.”
She assumed, with a grin.

He chuckles and smiles a bit sheepishly and sets his books down and extends a hand. He had only gotten a glimpse of her when she bought him, it was nice to see her fully at last. She was quite attractive, although he never had a like of blondes, He slowly extends a hand to her.
"Tobais, id introduce myself but..umm well you must have looked over my card when you won me so, its a pleasure"
He looks about where she asked to meet and his eyes light up as he scans the books. It gave him an instant and deep like of the woman that she appreciated a good book. He so rarely had anything to talk about because most of what he spoke of he read in books, or was simply not interesting to people, he dearly hoped that would change with this Mora.
"This place is amazing, im surprised i never found this library before"
She notices that sheepish smile of his, as she raises an eyebrow curiously. Nodding her head slowly. She can’t help but look at that pile of books he has. It’s so good to see people who wish to read. Mora saw very few people in the library nowadays. It didn’t bother her, it was coming up to Christmas, there was about two months left to get presents. Perhaps that was what they were doing.
Tobais spoke then, telling Mora it was a pleasure and she laughed. She liked how eager he was. Though, he didn’t know Mora so it was no pleasure but she kept her lips sealed and eyeballed the male in front of her.
”Yes, isn’t it? I bought this place when it was run down. Put quite a lot of hard work into it. It’s open 24 hours a day. It needs to be if it caters to the humans and vampires. I adore books, it was always a passion to run one. So, it warms my unbeating heart to know you like it.”
She smiled then, her dimples showing as she smiled, she pointed to a wooden door, to her left – which would lead upstairs to her private office, apartment area.
”Would you like to come upstairs?”
She asked.

"Oh oh, of course" he stammers out and picks up his books, in the stack was a couple of horror fiction, a few reference books to south america of all places. There was also a book on various types of owls.
He chuckles a bit as she tells him about her library and nods "I have never done anything quite that grand but, it would be nice to own a bookstore or library or something like this some time" he thinks back to all the dreams he had back when he was human "Those dreams seem a bit like a pipe dream now, with everything that has happened" He says looking down and his face falling a bit "I don't know what i am guna do now, besides read these books" He points out shrugging off his sorrow
He walks over, waiting by the door for her to open it "So, what did you have in my oh great and powerful owner?" he says with a faint smile that hid a great nervousness behind it. He had no real interaction with any vampires besides his sire since his change..he was never great with normal folk he had no idea what to do now. He could not simply cover it by asking them out for coffee or saying they could get a bite to eat. He supposed he had to be interesting now. He swallows a lump in his throat and steels himself slightly
He picked up his books within the confines of his arms as she smiled. He seemed alright holding those books as she moved around the counter and plucked up a small white carrier bag. She handed it to Tobias and smiled.
”Just put them in there, when you get a chance.”
She told him as she moved towards the back of the wall, where there was a small wooden door that would lead them upstairs to her apartment. She pushed the key into the lock, turned it counter clockwise and began to make her way up the stairs. She held the door open for the man as he followed her, and closed the door after him. She let the man take in his surroundings, her apartment above the library was bigger than the first floor. Spacious. There was a couple of plants that grew various plants for her. Most of the plants she gave to Judas, or Tate when he needed them for rituals and had none of his own, and sometimes she liked to sell them. She liked to tend to them mostly because it was calming, it soothed her mind. There was an Apple Mac computer over in the corner which was adorned by various neon coloured sticky notes.
”Welcome.”
She said, referring to her apartment. He made a comment then, asking her what she had planned for him and she laughed. She had nothing planned. In his auction card he had mentioned that he wanted a friend. She was going to do just that, offer him friendship. It was only fair.
”Nothing, I thought we were going to sit here, talk about books. Your free to leave any time. I was planning on making friends with you.”
She threw him a wink.

He chuckles and nods gently as he finds a place to sit within the confines of the apartment and starts to put the books into the bag one by one.
"To be honest with you that would be very welcome, since i was turned i have barely had a chance to do much of anything relaxing at all. It has always been, run from hunter here, try to feed here, work here college here"
He shakes his head and rubs his temples when he finishes putting his books into the bag, he gently sets it to the side and looks her over "im not used tho..this whole..thing" He says realizing he was staring and looks away.
"Normally id just, ya know ask if you wanted to go out for coffee or chat over a pizza or something, those were always my old fall backs. Seems like i never have anything to talk about now"
Mora looked at him curiously as he placed the books into the bag one by one, she watched him with fascination. She then made her way across the apartment as Tobais took a seat on the sofa, as she made her way into the kitchen and pulled out two green mugs she set them neatly atop the counter and then bent over to get inside the small fridge were two contraband blood packs sat on the top shelf of the white fridge, she plucked them out. Then she fished around in her drawer and plucked out a pair of scissors to cut the edge of the blood packs and snipped away. She then poured the cold blood into the mugs and then proceeded to put them in the microwave. She turned the dial and waited.
She didn’t really have long to wait, she peered around the corner to see that her guest was comfy and he seemed at ease. She plucked out the two steaming mugs and made her way over to him taking the chair opposite him – she placed the mug in front of him and kept the second in front of her, the warmth was comforting.
”Pizza was wonderful, back when I was human, also coffee. I forgot what those even taste like.”
She laughed and shook her head slightly before bringing the rim of the cup to her lips and taking a sip. The blood wasn’t fresh but it was tasty enough. It filled that never satisfied craving for blood.
”How are you adjusting? To being a vampire?”
She asked casually as she crossed one leg over the other.

He watches her, the way his new race moved always confounded him, their grace, the way they moved was so inhumanly graceful and seemed to rival what he saw as perfection. He than thought back to himself, flopping and clomping around like a horse with a bum leg, they claimed he was of the same race, even the same like as his beloved mother but it was so strange, to him they seemed so far away, like trying to stare into the fade for answers. He shuddered and reminded himself to never try that again...ever.
The beeping of a microwave snaps him out of his stupor which he realized had been predominantly staring at her quite rudely. He blinks rapidly and shakes his head violently "ugh, sorry i was...daydreaming" He fixes his eyes on the mug and licks his lips, mother told him that as a fledgling the thirst was the worst and he shuddered.
He takes the mug and holds it like a cup of hot tea sipping at it gently "Thank you, thank you so much" He says smiling at her gently "I'm not really adjusting well, apart from not knowing what to talk about i, im not sure what to do with myself other than study..and practice my path. Everything is so strange, i thought my life would not change as much as it did. Even the humans seem to be able to tell that i am strange, the plants die by my mere presence nearby, without thinking i tried to pet a cat yesterday, it fell over and started howling in pain. I think it might have died as well, if i do not sleep in a coffin or grave..or crypt i can scarcely move at all the next night." He points out pausing to drink deeply from his mug "I have done my research and have found, attempting necromancy while living....it appears i am still being punished for that. If i had to pick something that is the worst it is, the inability to lie, or manipulate the truth or fail to respond"
