Path of the Vampire forum

Okay soooo this guy has been kicking around my head for the last week or so.

His name is Andrew. We'll say he's about 20 - 22. Sort of bi-curious. Tall, kind of skinny, gaunt features. I don't know much about him yet... just that he's very quiet. Sullen, you could say. Not emo... more Goth... and terrified of death. To the point of obsession, which, combined with other quirks, makes him a little weird. He's a little ridiculous in that he's an almost stereotypically, cliched Goth kid and he sort of knows this somewhere in the back of his mind, but I think it makes for some dark humor surrounding the character. I'm sure he's got a lot more depth to him - this is seriously just the basics for now as I get to know him. As with most of my characters, I find they tend to develop a lot better with some writing and rping with others.

to be his model (Andy Biersack).


I'd like him to be sired right away, or come into the game as a vampire with a chosen Sire - I think he'd do best with someone who is no-nonsense and might help him get over himself a little bit. Or try to. xD Mild conflict is almost always good!

So if he sounds like someone you'd like to write your character with, whether it be an intent to sire him or whatever, come at me! Hit me up with what you've got. I'm going to pay for an extra character slot if there's any interest here - point is, I want to write consistently and I -really- want to branch out and do something different from my other characters.

Well I would love to have him under one of my boys, but I think I'll leave that choice in your hands (I hate feeling like I'm pressuring someone into something).

So instead of throwing a siring plot at you, I'll instead toss my characters your way.


First there is Jameson - my ex-druggie thief. His personality is sort of all over the place, because he makes a lot of terrible choices. He's not so much erratic as he is free spirited. He's also an allurist. He's a lot like an overgrown kid in my head and suffers from addictive personality issues, codependence issues, and just plain poor judgment. He's probably going to end up being the craziest to thread with if you want to play with him because of all the above reasons. Great for humour purposes, but not really the sort to make someone get over themselves.

Azraeth is my Dragomir. Mystic. Used to be a chick. Lots of stuff happened. Honestly, I'm still kind of getting back into his mindset as a boy. As a man, he was always a lot less uh...emotional than he during his time as a woman. Which I swear isn't meant to be sexist! At least not on my part (maybe his). He's just a nerdy kid that was kind of forced into a really serious world before he was ready. Because of this, he had a part in a lot of the early politics of the city. And found it terrible. These days he advocates the community acting as a whole, and neutrality in regards to vampire on vampire stuffs.

Remington is an Andras, member of Ty. He's basically really quiet most of the time and has a ton of violence issues. He's carefully controlled a lot of the time because he struggles constantly with his anger getting out of control. Because of this, he appears outwardly to be almost uncanny calm. But he's the sort of guy who can be chatting with you one moment and hacking your arm off the next. He takes vampiric discretion very seriously.

And finally there's Whit. He's a recluse. A necromancer, and former cancer patient who was turned to save his 'life'. I'm still in the process of developing his personality really, but he's a formal man who shares Andrew's obsession with death. He is introverted, and friendly, but really only likes his sire (like at all). Intense medium has made him somewhat misanthropic, and I have been wanting to slowly develop something of a dark side to his personality.

If Doc wasn't already related to one of your other characters, I think Doc would be interested. The females are about to drive him insane. He needs a male to commiserate with, when he isn't fighting with him. It would also depend on your definition of 'mild conflict'.

See, I think Doc and Andrew would be really interesting. I get that you don't want to cross characters into bloodlines (things get messy/confusing at that point, definitely) but even for general plotting purposes, I think that would be a cool dynamic between them. :)

He's cute. Grace might put a mask on him.

Is that a thing? I've seen others comment like that before where you can't RP more than one or two characters with the same other person. What's up with that?
