Election Impact Thread

I have started an election impact thread. The title is in support of Bancroft but I honestly think this would be a good opportunity to RP both sides of the impact.

It's a rally and those that would support Bancroft can attend but also those that don't favour him are more than welcome to come and sabotage the event to try and drop his poll ratings. I think it can be fun for everyone.

:)) You could have been serious as far as Alex believes, lol. She thinks that Bancroft IS Cobb's thrall! :P

Nothing saying he couldn't be. :)) I haven't been involved long enough to take an IC stance about it, but I don't understand why people favor the thrall of an unknown vampire over...whatever Gilbert is. Sounds like a dumb, malleable human.

I don't wanna derail the thread, though. :D Just bein' my usual smartass self.

In Digo's mind, that's exactly what Gilbert is. If Gilbert wins, however, there will be a miniature war over who controls/enthralls Gilbert... and whoever loses that war will probably put Gilbert in their crosshairs to prevent someone else from controlling her.

Elected Gilbert = dead Gilbert.

I've honestly given up on the elections.

None of the two that have a shot (even if it's so miniscule) are worthwhile.

Isn't that the same scenario that would happen with Bancroft, though, just fast-forwarded to the "enthralled" point? And why hasn't the incumbent been enthralled then? Just because of the new, increased mayoral power?

Out of curiosity (because I'm not subscribed to any of the members-only vampire-only boards) what's the vampire case for Spencer? Self-hate?

As in why they don't want her?
A few reasons. She's supposedly fae or has ties to the fae, who based off cannon and mythos are like enemies or w/e.
She also is linked to the hebigumo company who also have ties to the fae.
She's also been talking about some war that's coming up. Who the war involves is a mystery; one can only guess it's fae, apprentice sorc's, pallys and prob vamps. But again, we've no clue really as it's all so vague.
