[AUCTION POLL] - Best Photograph

There is a box set up for people to put their blind vote into. Each contestant's photograph is posted on a board with their photographs next to it. Slips of paper and a pen is available for people to use to vote. To vote they only need to put the name of the contestant onto the slip of paper and put it into the box.

A Lancaster's staff member is watching the ballot box carefully, and any duplicate votes will be voided, along with the original vote as punishment for trying to cheat.

Notice:
Our Contestants have a chance to win a little bit more money in a People's Choice Award. Everyone can vote once for their favourite photograph. Just fill in the ballot below and put into the box! Only ONE vote per person and anyone seen voting more than once will have all their votes voided.

Photographs up for the competition are:
ooc: Only one vote per character. Any character, whether slave, bidder or 'watcher' can vote on these, but they MUST RP the ballot vote, ie: Your character is at Lancasters, they write on a piece of paper and put it in the ballot box.

*scribbles on a second piece of paper and puts it in the ballot box with a bigger smile at the Lancaster staff member standing close, the person watching grinned in return*

On her way to the restroom, the red-head spotted a table boasting a board of photos and a box. Inching closer, she took in the sight, reading before approaching the table. Slipping one of the pieces of paper closer, she neatly wrote her choice before folding it and placing it in the box with a slight nod to the employee.

Pi moves to the mic and announces in a loud voice.

"Thank you everyone for participating, don't forget to vote on who you believe had the best photograph. 25% of the profits from this event will go into these prizes and your ballots for this prize will be amazing"

*smiles at the woman who has already voted*

The auctions now over, Madison was pleased with herself. She had sold for the same amount as the year before and even though she was leaving the auction with a much lighter bank account than she'd hoped, there was a spring in her step as she made her way to the "Best of" voting boxes. She had won the bid war and now a member of Ty was hers for the allotted time frame. Taking a slip from the "Best Photograph" area, she wrote down a name and slipped it into the box.

The piece of paper read:

Looking at each of the photographs in turn she felt like one of the only ones not voting for a friend or 'relative' as most of the vampires seemed to consider themselves to others. Shaking her head she scribbled a name on her piece of paper and dropped it in to the box.

I snag a piece of paper and go to eye the photos one last time. Only three - besides my own - stand out to me; Ellie, Ric and Pi. I'm not narcassitic to vote for myself, so those three are really the only contenders for me. I decide to vote for the most attractive of the three. Since I don't bat for the other team and could quite happily forget what Ellie's missus looks like, I take her out of the running. That leaves Ellie and Ric, and Ellie's a little older than I like my men. So that leaves Ric. In the neatest writing I can muster - what with having been drinking from the bottle - I write out Ric's name and slip the paper into the ballot box.

And again, it was the same name she'd put in the other poll. She dropped the vote into the box and went on her way.
