Gamers and RP forums

Just had a little chat with a few individuals and it's come about that characters marked as 'gamers' are just that. Gamers. Not RPers. Thusly I feel if you actively choose not to be an RPer you should not have access to IC forums. Why would you need them if you have actively chosen not to be someone that is interested in Role Playing?
