So Archon had been telling the truth after all, the small shadow mused as she wandered around the pub waiting for the bidding to begin. There had been a fair bit of doubt that her wraith had been honest when he had sought her out in the Catacombs to inform her of the auction. Even more suspicious is that he had made special mention of a certain male that had entered. Given Archon's perchance for jealousy, Zila had figured it a ploy to get her out in public to meet new people which seemed to be a goal of the spirit.
She had head home to shower and change into something more suitable for a social outing than her usual hunting gear. A black lace top layered over a nude-colored camisole was paired with a simple pair of black jeans. Her hair was held back securely by a seemingly dainty clip, though a couple tendrils hung loose on either side. Her ever-present choker completed the outfit.
Once the initial shock that the wraith had been completely honest for a change, the woman had found a quiet place to wait and watch the gathered masses until it was time. As the auction began, she slipped closer, her mind reached out to gently touch the male's as she teased, 'Well fancy seeing you here.
"One thousand, to start on this one."

"Two thousand."
Resounded from a place in between pickers and choosers for the auction floor. Thistle was miffed on her own for being lazy in recent days, to not stumble into Lancaster's sooner for her own slot among the ones standing before the crowd. Though she was already a little off being back in the Irish pub again. Tiny thoughts about dancing on tables with really drunk men made her grin. "Oh to be young again." Who was she kidding, vampire or not, she was still young. Thistle's copper bracelets chimed low as they fell from her wrist to the edge of her coat. With a coy smile, her eyes scanned the room from the edge of her stool at the bar.

Taranto was certainly worth more than two thousand dollars in her mind. "Ten Thousand, please."

She snapped her head in the direction as the wager was made, "Twenty thousand for T. And a drink to that lady."

The petite shadow wasn't entirely surprised by the arrival and subsequent bidding by the pair of women. After all, he was a rather unique and wonderful person. One of the women, Elizabeth, she remembered from past family meetings, but was unfamiliar with the other. She knew that the male was worth well over the current twenty thousand, but the rules had stated bids opened at one thousand, so that had have been her initial bid. It was not a rule she had particularly liked and had found odd. With a warm, gentle smile to both ladies, she raised the bid again, "Twenty five thousand."

No more than ten thousand, no less than one. There was something about uneven numbers that intrigued her so she tossed out her best warm grin to the lass and placed a third bid, "Thirty-three thousand dollars."
While she did not abide by many rules, she was used these from the auctions beginning. Her pocket had a special place in mind for Taranto. The shade knew him, in fact Thistle and he had run-ins throughout the past three years she wandered this town. He held true to his colors. Thistle, a girl who could care less about many things, saw merit in his dedication. If she were asked, she would name only two at the top of her head and two other who've long since gone.
Now she did not recognize the lovely dressed lass who held position in much higher stakes than her first number. Thistle rested a wrist to the bar. Sized her up briefly as long ivory digits strummed gently over the smooth surface, waiting for the next bid.
