Bikers for Bancroft! The Anti-Bancroft League (Impact-OPEN)

Post by Kira »

OOC: Don't know about a vampire biker gang? Read this

Kira looked at the collection of information on the candidates. Killing any of them would be far too hard, expressly for her. She was an up close and personal killer, not a sniper type that would work for an assassination. An assassination attempt on Bancroft's manager failed, so trying to go for Bancroft would be more likely to fail.

She closed her eyes, feeling Artio run up her leg and pounce on her lap. "So glad I'm wearing pants and not a skirt.." she said, picking the kitten up and lifted her up to eye level. "You're growing too fast." she muttered, spotting Sof near the doorway, her fur fluffed up. Kira set Artio down, patted her butt as she then took off after Sof who turned and ran. She smirked, having another cat was a good thing for Sof. Course now she had three dogs under this roof, one wasn't really her's but wasn't all the animals now a joint part of both Reggie and her own life. That's what happens right, joint pets. She wasn't sure if she would ever get a handle on this whole relationship thing. And the male half of her wraith was her only insight into it. That was sad, wasn't it.

She shook her head. She was getting distracted. The animals were fine, they were all busy playing. She pulled up more news reports. Bancroft...she didn't trust either Bancroft or Spencer. The lesser of the evils would be Gilbert. She never paid attention to politics, she didn't give a ****, nor had she been in New York long enough to care, but this would affect vampires. There was something fishy about two of them. But how do they get Gilbert to be in favor? They needed more numbers.

Kira got up, leaving a note for Reggie that she had things to do and she would stay out of trouble. Not that he would believe her but, eh. Wasn't like she did it on purpose. Damn hunters. At least these she hadn't heard from Windy since his beat down from Reggie, minus working together to go against the owl turds, not that she talked to him. She grabbed her motorcycle keys and headed out. The only allies she could really think of were the bikers. She couldn't do this alone though, Lexy would be able to explain what they needed to do better.

She sent a message to Lexy. We need to help Gilbert win this. I'm going to see if our Biker friends are free for a little campaigning. Care to meet me at the bar?' once the message was sent, she got on her motorcycle and drove off to the bar where the blondes first met the Biker Vampires.

Kira pulled up to that bar, taking her helmet off. She looked at all the bikes parked there. Seems the bar was up and kicking. She strolled into the bar, looking around. It didn't take long for her to be spotted.

"Kira!" Max said with a grin, "It's been awhile." he hugged her but lifted her off the ground.

"****! Put me down!" Kira growled.

Max laughed but dropped her. "We've been keeping our noses clean, what brings you to our neck of the woods."

Kira huffed, smoothing her clothes. Good thing Reggie wasn't joined at her hip tonight. "Have you guys been following the elections?" she asked.

"Not really. The boss maybe." Max replied with a shrug.

"It happens to be a serious matter for vampire kind. It's something we should all talk about and decide on a game plan." Kira said, moving over to the bar and sat down.

"Is Alex coming?" Max asked.

"I've sent her a message and hopefully she'll be on her way here." Kira replied, of course if she got the ok she could have summoned her here. She didn't like summoning someone without a heads up as she sure didn't like being summoned randomly.

"Well then, guess we just got to kill time. Let's have some drinks and dance then." Max said, grabbing her hand and dragged her out to dance.

"****! Wait!" Kira protested, just because she had spent some of the month teaching them dance moves because there wasn't anything else to do while they were all hiding, didn't mean she wanted to dance right now.

Every once in awhile people who are like minded end up in sync, even when they would least expect to be. As Kira moved to gather the troops, the leader of said troops had gotten the same idea and was on his way to meet up with Alex.

The sound of Nick's bike as he pulled in to the vacant spot in the parking garage was louder than Alexandrea was used to but she didn't think for a moment that he leader of the club she and Kira had become friends with was having trouble with his ride. The way the giant Allurist babied his motorcycle made the rest of the gang look negligent with theirs, and they all were anything but.

As the noise finally came to a stop the blonde chuckled a bit and then just asked him; "Why are you trying to draw so much attention to yourself?"

"For the same reason I wanted you to meet me here so I could show you this." The huge man handed the much smaller woman a phone. When Alex looked up at Nick curiously, he reached over her easily to hit a button and a video started to play.

What she saw made her jaw drop and she started to laugh and then couldn't stop for several minutes. When Alex had at last collected herself, she looked up at Nick and grinned. "Was that you singing Ozzy's "Crazy Train", and perfectly I might add, just looking like our Mr. Bancroft? Or was that the real McCoy?"

Nick made a funny face at the small blonde and then showed her just what a spot on copy he could be of the mayoral candidate. "What do YOU think, little girl? Want some candy?" The still towering man leered down at her making as if he was going to grab at Alexandrea but she just chuckled again, knowing his girlfriend would wear the man's balls as earrings if he so much as brushed against another woman. "Save your candy for your old lady ya sleaze bag..." Alex laughed and leaned against the bike, looking up at the stranger's face on a friend's body.

Well not just the face. Nick's body had changed or at least it appeared to have, as well. The man in front of Alex was still tall but no where near as tall as Nick himself was. "Nice trick, Nick. So why are you playing Bancroft? And what's any of this got to do with me?"

The biker scowled and shook his head. "You're that dumb, Blondie. Figure it out. "

Alexandrea frowned back at him. She got what he was doing just not why. She tried to be more clear. "Look Nick. Just so you know, I'm behind Gilbert. I don't know why you want to get Bancroft extra attention but unless it''s bad attention... I won't be helping... ohhhhh."

The light bulb went on over the blonde's head and she grinned from ear to ear. "This could be good. Very good. And fun!" The two both laughed until something occurred to the Allurist and she stopped, getting very serious as she looked into her friend's eyes. "But hey Nick... if this goes like we hope? What does that say about how people see guys like you and the rest of the club? Doesn't that upset you?"

"Listen. Closed minded douche bags are always gonna think whatever the **** they want about us. We can do all the charities in the world, bring every tot toys for Christmas every year of our lives, and there are still going be asswipes that decide we're bad guys just cus of how we look. And I bet ya a lot of those losers are pro Bancroft. So let's **** with them."

Alex smile brightened with each of the biker's words and she chuckled to herself as the slogan; 'Bikers For Bancroft" echoed in her head. Her own inner voice was replaced by that of her Kiwi's and Kira's own musical tone echoed what the blonde and her biker friend had been thinking. "And it seems great minds think alike. Kira want me to meet her at the hangout. Can I get a lift?"

Both laughed again, Alexandrea had taken almost the entire month they had all been on the road together before she actually started to enjoy to being on the back of a bike but once she had gotten used to it she took a chance to share a ride whenever she could. The option of ever getting her own had been unanimously voted down by every biker in within a hundred miles. The only thing Alex drove worse than a car, was a motorcycle. As the front of one ruined bar in Niagara Falls could attest to.

Neither wore a helmet as they raced Nick's bike screaming though downtown both shouting "Bikers For Bancroft" as they went though stop signs and down one way streets the wrong way, passing on shoulders and running several red lights. Nick still looking like the political figure him self and Alexandrea looking, well... just like she always did. They quietened down on the out skirts of town and with a flip of a switch, Nick's bike purred into it's regular voice while the male Allurist changed back into his own face. They continued to the hideout at a normal speed, no longer trying to get noticed or captured on traffic cams.

It looked like everyone else was already there as the bike was parked and the two went in, looking like a giant and a elf side by side. Alex spotted Kira and made her way over to her friend even as Max was twirling the other blonde around the small sawdust covered dance floor. She blow a kiss to Snake and Hubcap each as Nick went over to their table with the cellphone to share the video he had made.

"Hey Max! Good to see you, can I have Kira back for a little while? We have some plotting to do."

Post by Zodiac »

Her eyes fluttered open as her inner clock told her nap time was over. The small VW mini bus sat in the back of the lot, flanked on one side by a 4X4 pickup lifted so high, the mystic would need a ladder to get inside and a semi on the other. The two made a comfortable pocket for her to park somewhat away from eyesight as she took a quick rest. Sometimes when working late, she would take advantage of this spot. Even if the van was discovered, the local who frequented this place never bothered her. While some in the town questioned her credentials as a witch, the ones who came here believed totally, so her property was left unmolested.

Zodiac climbed out and stretched a bit as she focused again. She had a couple more stops to make this night before packing it in, but now she would not be nodding off in the middle of the conversations she was likely to have. She slipped her purse over her shoulder and locked the van before walking around a bit to loosen up.
"Now that is a big assed truck." she looked up at the 4X4 and whistled as she lit up a cigarette.

"HEY! I KNOW YOU!" a voice shouted right behind her, scaring her witless for a moment. She turned to see several bikers standing behind her. Most of them, ironically, smiling at her. "Yep, that's her!" a scruffy looking male told the redhead he had his arm around. Now she was confused for a moment till she got a good look at the scruffy man.

"So what's so special about her?" one of the others asked-clearly unimpressed with what they had found. Scruffy man gave the man a shove on the shoulder.

"Show some respect! THIS," he pointed at Zo. "Is that witch I told you about. The day before I went to court, she read those cards for me and told me I wasn't going to jail and did a little spell for me." He laughed and danced around a bit. "And here I am-still free."

"Big deal, you got a probation officer up your *** now."

"Beats staying in the Grey Rock Hotel for five years!" he laughed then got serious. Now Zodiac recognized the man and remembered him. The 'spell' was simply a blessing for good luck and nothing fancy enough to sway a jury by any means. He dropped down on one knee in front of her and took her hands into his. "I will always be grateful, and if you ever need some muscle in anything, you remember me and let me know and I will be there. Promise."

Zodiac practically blushed under the sudden attention she was getting now. She nodded her head in agreement as she smiled.

"She too good to talk or what?"

"Can't you read?" the redhead spoke up as she pointed to the buttons the gypsy wore that stated she could not.

"And she can hear a lot better than you ever will!" the scruffy man added. "So, you hear to get a drink? Great! I'm buying all night for you."

The girl started to protest, but the redhead leaned down and whispered in her ear. "Sorry doll. When he feels he owes a debt, he pays it. Looks like you gonna be here for awhile." just as the scruffy man picked her up and sat her on his shoulder. The red head flanked the other side as the mystic was carried off to the bar.

"Don't I get a say in all this?" she wondered to herself as she looked around. Behind her escorts, she saw Ginny following them without a hint of anger or warning as she padded along. She relaxed and ducked her head as they entered the place. There was a time she would be in a place like this all night when she was alive. The place was loud and their entrance made it even louder. The pair walked up to the bar and sat Zodiac down on one of the bar stools.

"Anything she wants, it's on me!" the man shouted at the bartender as he patted her shoulder.

"Oh boy!" she sighed as the man behind the bar looked at her with a hint of 'what the hell' in his eyes.

"Name your poison." he asked in a tone of voice that suggested he wanted an answer ten minutes ago.

Kira was glad when she was finally not being spun around, she pushed her hair out of her face. "See you've remembered the dance moves I taught you." she said with a laugh.

Max grinned, "Alright, ladies. Go plot. This should be fun." he said, whatever it was. He hurried over to Nick to see what was going on. He eyed the video, "Oh man.." he couldn't believe his eyes.

Kira turned to Lexy with a smile. She moved over to where they could talk without shouting over the music. "Here's some ideas for getting Gilbert up in favor." she said, though she still wished they could all be killed off and have this whole thing start over. "I can gather a crowd pretty easy, just need some speakers and a microphone. Maybe the park? Would have enough space for a crowd.." she said, "Not sure if we can brainwash people but if flood people's minds with negative things about Bancroft. And positive things about Gilbert. Or simply Vote Gilbert." she said.

"Though its going to take forever since planting these things one person at a time." she said, she had only shared dance steps to Reggie in his mind, she was sure there wasn't a way to do it to more than one person at a time. "Bikers have such a bad rep with the general public, we can work with that too. Not sure what...think spray painting Bikers for Bancroft on some buildings would make an impact?"

At least this mission sounded fun enough, working towards a common goal. "Got any ideas?" Kira asked with a grin, she was sure her friend had some more ideas about this.

The guys were whopping it up over the video of Nick singing 'Crazy Train' while wearing Bancroft's face, passing the smartphone around the bar to the rest of the gang while the two blondes had their heads together. The place was already loud but had gotten louder as more people came in the door and headed for the bar. Alex thought she saw someone in the small crowd being hoisted up on the bar but who ever it was they were to short for the vertically challenged Allurist to make out over so many much taller men and women so her attention went right back to her conversation with Kira.

"Those are all good, and we should get going on all of them. Nick's already on the same page and you need to see what he has come up with. It seems by the reaction that the rest of the guys are having, that it'll be easy to get them all on board to derail the Bancroft train."

Alexandrea knew her friend would get the reference once she saw the video but she had other concerns to share with Kira before they rejoined the others. "The main thing I was worried about was Spencer but Bancroft is just as frightening to me after trying to get a read on whomever his master is. I do want Gilbert to win, for my own reasons, but as far as for what the greater good is? She seems like the least of three evils so far."

The blonde was distracted from her fellow Allurist by a rubbing on her leg and looked down in alarm at first, wondering which of the Biker's had gotten weird on her. But she calmed down once she saw it was Ginny, Zodiac's furry friend and familiar. Alexandrea bent down to pet the cat who seemed unconcerned with being in the middle of a nosy and crowded bar.

"Ginny! What are you doing here? Where's Zoey?" The feline head butted Alexandrea's hand and then matched away heading for the bar and the gathering surrounding whomever had been lifted up on top of it. "Oh.... my. Who IS that over there?? Excuse me, Kiwi... if I am right there may be another of our sisters in the house."

Without waiting for the other blonde to reply, Alex hurried behind the tail as it started to weave between the legs of both bodies and chairs. Sure enough, they ended up at the bar where the bikers had a small Gypsy perched on top as if she was some kind of trophy. All the eyes except for two were looking at Zodiac as if she had invented sliced bread but the bartender had a look on his mug that Alexandrea knew all too well. he never had liked to be kept waiting.

The man, whose name Alex was embarrassed to have forgotten, barked out at the Mystic to make up her mind and the blonde squeezed between two large men to reach the side of the bar and wave to him, one of her best smiles crocked and fully loaded.

"She's with me, we'll both just take a beer." The barkeep nodded and popped open to cold ones, setting them down at the Mystic's feet. Alexandrea took them both and motioned with her head for the Gypsy to follow her."Come on Zo, come meet the rest of the gang."

One of the guys looked reluctant to let the little Gypsy get down however and concerned that the big guy wasn't going to take no for an answer, Alexandrea decided to call for backup. Her sometimes team mate and businesses partner who also happened to be quite protective of his Mystic sibling.

*Hey Mordi. Alex. You free? Zodiac has a new fan club and I think they may be a bit too... enthusiastic with their admiration. I... could use a hand watching her back.* Finishing up the thought with sharing her memory of how to find the bar, Alexandrea did the next best thing she could. She set down the brews again and climbed up next to her fellow sister of short stuffness.

Grabbing up the beers, celerity let her drink one at the speed of lightening and then passing Zodiac the empty bottle as if it was still full, she spoke into the Gypsy's mind as well. *This is a vampire bar mainly so you should be safe but there are a few humans in here tonight I do not recognize and you've already drawn attention to yourself. As usual.* The blonde chuckled and linked arms with her friend with her free hand and then took a swig out of the one still full beer.

The bartender's attention turned away from her suddenly, which brought a sigh of relief from her. She would kill half the town just to be able to drink again. Over three years now and she still missed the effects of consuming the stuff.

"He'll be back" the redhead frowned. "Or he best be back."

Some of the group that ceremoniously carried her in had begun to gravitate elsewhere into the place, leaving the girl and a couple others around her.

"She's got your beer." the bartender barked as he walked past.

"Who's got whose beer?" the girl asked.

"Yeah, what she said." Zodiac looked around and blinked when she saw Alex dressed as if she belonged in here. Oh, this was going to be a story she would not rest till she had every dirty detail of it committed to memory. When Alex motioned for her to follow, she found her progress hindered by a cautionary hand on her shoulder.

"Well damn, don't she move fast," the redhead snorted then looked at the group's guest of honor. "What the hell is that? Snap her fingers and expect you to come running like a puppy?"

As tempting as it would be to let that idea be accepted as the truth, Zodiac shook her head no and got a pad and pen from her purse and wrote quickly.

Is okay, I know here. Friend of mine. Of course, she might want to be more than my friend, but...

The redhead read the note and busted out into laughter. Zodiac crumpled the note up as Alex eased her way in and took a seat next to her. The cold bottle suddenly shoved into her hand felt empty. She looked down inside and saw perhaps a few drops in the bottom so far out of her reach. Briefly she considered trying for it. A full fledged vampire vomiting session might make her fan club back up a few yards.
This is a vampire bar mainly so you should be safe but there are a few humans in here tonight I do not recognize and you've already drawn attention to yourself. As usual.
Her mouth gaped open at the allurist's words. Zodiac tensed up and gave Alex a semi serious elbow to her side in reply. "Oh yeah," she hissed into the woman's mind. "This is how I make all my entrances. I need an entourage to escort and follow me about. Not! I took a nap in my van in the back of the parking lot, got out to stretch my legs and next thing I know I am in here. This stuff happens to me way too much," she tipped the bottle to her lips and acted like she was swallowing. To the gypsy, this was totally demeaning. "Got any empty plates so I can pretend I am eating as well?"

'Clink!" the noise came from behind her. Zodiac turned to see several bottles of what she had an empty of were sitting and waiting for her. "Is on Buddy," the bartender said. The girl looked to where the others were playing pool and saw her admirer that had started this mess waving at her and the others.

She took two of the bottles and offered one to the redhead and the other to Alex. This was gonna get stupid really quickly. As she looked around, she noticed a semi familiar face in the crowd. She tugged Alex's sleeve to get her attention before pointing.
"What the hell is that doing in here? You know the Britney wannabee? How many guys want to do the real one and this idiot walks into a bar like this looking like her twin? And people say I am crazy?"

Once more the moon shown down upon the clearing surrounding the White Lair, illuminating a shirtless hulking brute twisting and weaving as the huge claymore in his hands wove an intricate pattern of flashing steel that totally wrapped around the giant, leaving no opening for an attacker to land a blow. Faster and faster the sword whirled, till the outline blurred and only glimpses of reflected moonlight gave hints as to where the sword had been. The strength and stamina of the warrior soon would have been evident to any who who watched, if any had watched. No normal man, and few paranormals could have kept up the speed and motion for a fraction of the time that this killer wove his kata.

Much had been going on in Mordechai's life. Much that he had never expected to happen, had never expected to have to face. The ritualized practice with the heavy sword brought peace to him, an inner peace. The mission he had run with his partner Prudence, had brought the Spencer campaign to a screeching halt, with her main backer the Hebigumo Corp under police scrutiny. But. Taking out Bancroft's campaign manager had had absolutely no influence on Bancroft's popularity, nor his meteoric climb into the stratosphere of Harper Rock. To Mordechai that proved even more, that there was a massive force backing the anger monger. Proves even more, that somewhere, there was a Geppetto to Bancroft's Pinocchio. There was no way a normal campaign could have suffered the loss of its apparent leader, with no ill affect, and as far as the killer was aware, the manager was still in the hospital.

His relationship with kennedy was as strong as ever, but somewhere deep inside, his intellect challenged his heart. He was not the same as others, it felt as though he had an internal fault that would cause kennedy to exchange him for someone that was not broken as he was. Even though she had never exhibited any behavior to that effect, his mind would not take a chance. As such, he had sought out his siremate Zodiac for advice, and planned to soon meet with the Marchioness of Thornside. Zo and her cards had seemed to confirm what he thought, but also showed that there may be away around it, a way to circumvent, and maybe even fix, whatever it was that made him the way he was. The Marchioness on the other hand... well he was going to her because she was old. Much older than he was. Hopefully in that time she had the experience to have seen this elsewhere, and may know the cure. Her human years were younger, but as a vampire, she was much more experienced, and experience could be very beneficial.

Gradually the killer's movements slowed. The blade became visible, the high pitched whine of sliced air quieted, the giant slowed. Finally all motion stopped. The claymore was slipped reverently into its bejeweled and armored back harness hanging from a limb. His shirt lifted and slid on. The harness strapped to massive shoulders. The ever present duster and stetson donned. The coat wasn't needed, but it covered his claymore, and helped him to blend in with others in the early October chill. His mind finally at ease, he turned towards the road to Swansdale.
*Hey Mordi. Alex. You free? Zodiac has a new fan club and I think they may be a bit too... enthusiastic with their admiration. I... could use a hand watching her back.*
Any thought of fatigue was cleared from his mind as a set of detailed instructions followed the first message. Mordechai closed his eyes while he ran the proposed path to this 'bar' through his natural GPS, he never got lost, and had an almost eidetic memory when it came to maps. There was a muffled wave of wind, and some colorful leaves spinning in a small dustdevil to mark where the killer had stood. Seconds later another small dustdevil arose in the parking lot of the bar, as Mordechai slowed to a jog. Coming to a stop outside the front door the massive killer concentrated, and soon he was looking out through
Alexandrea's eyes. She was seated next to Zodiac, and at the moment he could see no danger, though from the look on Zo's face, she didn't seem to thrilled. Coming back inside himself he stepped up and opened the door, Ducking his head the seven foot killer stepped inside, pausing to take in the whole view of the barroom. As his mind cataloged and categorized all the occupants by perceived threat level, he let his mind caress those he perceived as the greatest threats and appraised their skills and weaknesses, as another part of his mind caressed Alexandrea's, ''I am here''

Kira tried to hear what the bikers were going on about but there was so many sounds going on right now but then went back to listening to Lexy. She smirked when she confirmed that there were good ideas and they should do them all. "Really? Nick is?" she said, wondering what he had done. She nodded in agreement, there was something just...off, she got such a bad feeling from whoever was pulling the strings of that puppet.

"Well you know I rather just kill them all but that's not likely to happen so Gilbert is the lesser of the evils indeed." she said. She raised an eyebrow, her head tilting to the side at the sight of the cat. This place would be one big litter box but it was out of place for sure. But Lexy seemed to know the cat and was off, following it. "Okay.."

The way it was worded, seemed Kira was just supposed to stay here. Her green eyes followed after her friend over to the bar, the person there seemed out of place. Kira made sure she could pass for a biker chick or a normal citizen, merely by taking off her leather jacket and gloves. She was distracted enough not to notice Max next to her again, slinking an arm over her shoulder.

"You done with your girl talk? You got to check this out." Max said, showing her the phone. "It's Nick."

Kira watched curiously, "Bancroft suit, nice. Almost makes me wish I had that power. Think it would give him some bad PR being in woman's clothes?" she said with laugh.

"That would be great." Max said, "Better give this back to Nick." he quickly returned the phone but was soon back at her side.

"Hey, you guys got any spray paint? It's part of the many plots we got going on." Kira asked, "The more flashy the color the better." she added with a grin.

"Hmm, I'll look in the back." Max said, picking her up without her permission and plopped her on the bar. "Hey, give blondie a beer."

Kira glared, "You're lucky we're friends or I would have stabbed you!" she snapped. He only smirked and headed off before she could protest the beer. She wasn't a beer person but she gave a polite smile to the barkeep. She rubbed her face, this was why she left Reggie out of this, he seriously couldn't keep his temper in check when it came to her and other males.

She looked to Lexy, pushing the beer over to her. "So, we have more help with out plans?" she asked. Then she got distracted when someone entered the bar, sometimes it was just clear what path someone could be or they might be a giant.

Max returned with a box of spray cans, setting them beside Kira who started to look through the colors. "Hot pink, neon green. Think we can get some attention with this." she said with a grin.

Re: Bikers for Bancroft! The Anti-Bancroft League (Impact-OP

Post by Alexandrea »

*What in the name of Nox were you doing this far out of town and sleeping in you van, Zo? Don't you know there are big bad bogeymen that hang out in places like this?* Alex winked at Zodiac and then gave Kira a mental poke as the other Allurist arrived at and was placed up on the bar. *Hey have you actually ever had a face to face meet and greet with Zodiac? Cus this is the one and only original Zoey right here.*

Alexandrea coughed slightly at the Mystic's remarks about her Kiwi's famous doppelganger but she didn't laugh. It was something you just got used to after you were around Kira long enough. She looked like a pop star and had men swarming around her like flies. She would be a perfect asset with what they had planned if Alexandrea could talk her sister Allurist into actually milking her resemblance to Brittany Spears for once.

The sound of Mordechai's voice in the blonde's head was a welcome one and Alex stood up, not that she was any taller but hey a gal tries. She could see him plain enough, the killer was literally head and shoulders above the crowd. And she also spotted the man in change of the room as he stood up as well...

Nick watched Max scamper back after the bitchier of the two blondes and shook his head at the lovesick kid as he put away his phone. The 'Bancroft's Crazy Train'video had already been uploaded to you tube and had well over 1000 comments so far. Some where outraged which made the giant biker quite pleased with himself. Others however.... he grimaced as he dismissed the notion of anything backfiring. At this point, they didn't have anything left to lose. Nick's grin lit up the dingy bar as his favorite blonde crossed the bar from the back room to sit in his lap.

Sherry slid into place into her man's lap as if she belonged there; which in the minds of the two vampires and anyone who knew them, she did. The two hadn't gotten married or bound together but things like that didn't matter. It was a clear as crystal that the two were mated for life, however long that turned out to be. Nick wasn't just Sherry's life mate. He was also her Sire and her soul mate if one believed in such things. She did. The huge Allurist wasn't as sure but he happily agreed with Sherry, life was much more simple and easy going that way. The statuesque Killer was almost 6 feet tall her self and could easily take down any of the rest of the gang.

"That ****** is huge...." Came a hoarse whisper from Snake as Nick and Sherry had shared a welcoming kiss hello. The tree like Allurist looked up to see the bar's newest arrival and took stock. Sherry stared along with many other pairs of eyes, getting up and standing beside Nick as he stood as well. The room growing quieter as one by one the gang all noticed the towering vampire at the door.

Straightening up to his own wildly impressive 6 feet 7, it was apparent even from a dozen feet away that Nick was outsized by the stranger. The vampire was still fairly young to his new life but had learned a trick or two outside his own path. He went ahead and checked out the newest visitor to his bar. The Appraisal told him the new giant had brains as well as brawn and using Technokinesis to check out the internet quickly told him something else when Nick checked the business listings.

Surprised to see the huge Killer was also a businesses owner, he paused a moment to consider things even while one hand went to the small of his back to make sure his beloved gun Sherry had made him was still there. Nick glanced over at the bar to where Alexandrea had been last as he heard her voice in his head, even as he was taking the first step towards the man at the entry that his attention had been focused on.

*Nick, that is a friend of mine. Please be cool.*

The Allurist frowned but gave the small blonde a nod then loudly cracked his neck from side to side. His arm wrapped around Sherry's waist and the two headed towards the bar where Kira and Max were.

Alexandrea nodded at Mordi and waved him over. Not bothering to send to the Killer and choosing instead to draw his attention with an ear splitting whistle just in case he hadn't seen her, over the still nosy bar. The few of the crowd that had paused to check out the giant newcomer followed Nick's lead, quickly going back to their own conversations. Most of then all anti Bancroft. The hum of the bar was overwhelmingly in favor of Gilbert and snippets of conversations were easily overheard about various plans to tank the thrall's chances at the election.

The small blonde nodded at the spray paint cans and grinned. "That's will help brighten up things around town, I think it's about time we get this show on the road. I suggest we make teams, split our goals and time everything to go off at once. There's a Rally for Bancroft coming up and if we start planning to crash that party right now, I don't see any reason why we couldn't steal that stage for OUR Bancroft. Now does anyone here have Claim Abode?"

Nick and Sherry gave nods to everyone as they arrived and then Nick pulled Max aside while Sherry went back to the back room. Once there, she set up the video camera and kept the young pregnant woman company while they waited for the guys. Back at the bar, Nick and Max were deep in conversation when Snake came over and said it was time. The three made their way to join Sherry and the other woman, closing the door behind them. Several minutes passed and the only sound that could be heard coming from behind the closed door, should any ears be listening, was what sounded a lot like Bancroft shouting; "I don't care what the DNA says I don't want anything to do with you or that kid and if you don't disappear on your own then I know people that will make it happen for you!"

Soon after, they all left the room and went separate directions, the women leaving to go one direction and the men headed back to the group. Snake was busy on his iPad the moment he got to the bar, pulling it out of seemingly no where and opening it up he inserted a flash drive and was typing like mad as the other two Bikers peered over his shoulders. Snake leaned back with bark of laughter as he finished what he was working on and Nick picked up the tablet to see the results. A Facebook page post about 'Snake's' missing pregnant daughter, complete with a picture of the young woman that had just left with Sherry, was already getting 'shares' like crazy and the video they had just made was sent to the Police and to all the local papers anonymously.

Satisfied, Nick sent mind to mind to his co conspirators; *Let's keep this between us for now, shall we? I don't want to risk Alex deciding it's going to far or some ****. Same with that kinky sex tape tape that Sherry and I made and sent to the Harper Rock Sun last night.*

Once that was taken care of, the jumbo sized Allurist went over to Alex and tapped her arm.

"Hey Blondie. I think it's time the Police Commissioner and I have a talk about what is going happen around her after "I" am Mayor." Nick's face shifted back into that of candidate Bancroft and back again. "Gonna be a lot of changes around here. Starting with a right for way at all times for all Bikers!"

A cheer went up from a few of the gang that were listening and Alex nodded with a grin, then pulled out her phone to quickly text the directions of the bar to Harry, her thrall.

She nodded in the direction of the blonde Spears clone and was about to 'speak', but turned at the sounds of others murmuring. Her eyes brightened at the sight of Mordie as he moved like a slow shark through a school of fish more than will to make room for his passing. Zodiac stood up on the bar, smiled, and jumped. Wrapping around the big man with a hug like a flea hanging onto a dog before dropping down to the floor.

The red head tapped her shoulder to get her attention.
"Um, you know this guy?" The look in the woman's eyes was priceless as the gypsy quickly wrote.

Know him? He's my brother!

It technically wasn't a lie. The pair had the same sire that introduced them to the darkness.

"I hate to say this, babe, but I think your momma was cheating on your daddy, or his daddy. Something. Christ, he's a big one!" she laughed nervously.

Also doubles as my bodyguard. Zodiac folded her arms and struck a pose in front of the big man and then added. And sometimes I return the favor

She had nothing against people who embraced 'the lifestyle'. As she saw things, bikers were basically another tribe of gypsies. The core principles of such a life was basically the same. Live free and not the way the world tells you that you have to live. Several times when she was alive she found herself in places like this and despite the initial tensions on first arriving, she would melt in and be accepted with ease. Especially after a few readings and drinks. They were a more accepting lot than 'civilized' people were and she could see how such a mix was possible.

She focused in on the flow of the conversation Alex was having with the others. At the mention of Bancroft's name, her face grimaced in disgust as she spit on the floor and made the sign of the evil eye with her hands.

"Does being a vampire make people smarter? Not always. Some come out as blood sucking sheeples. I hear rumors he is some vampire's little *****, so does that make him safe to vote for? Hardly." she grumbled. "I would think some should be concerned who is holding the ***** leash on this guy cause let's face it, Bancroft as mayor would mean his master is truly in charge of the town then, not him. Trust me, I have casted so many hexes and curses on this guy it isn't funny. You got plans? What can I do to help? You forget, Alex, I may not be the most physical of our kind, but I can magick up a storm if I chose to." A grin spread on her face as she considered what the allurist might have in store for this. Obviously something was getting ready to go down on this subject and a bit more positive action to help keep a lackey out of a post of power appealed to her deeply.
Some day I'm gonna be happy. I don't know when just now
