Renee’s eyes flew open as she sat up in bed. Blood had soaked her bed sheets. She had been crying and it looked like she had been clawing at her own skin. She forced herself to breath to try and help calm her down. She pulled her knees to her chest and wrapped the blanket around herself as she began to rock back and forth. She wished she was not alone as she cried again and waited for the sun to go down.Events start here: http://www.mooncalfstudios.com/pathofth ... 17&t=22944
As she sat there waiting for the time to slowly tick by, she found herself jumping at shadows. It was different now that she was a vampire. When she was still human she would of told herself that it was just a bad dream and that nothing was in the shadows but now she knew better. She knew there were things that went bump in the night and what they were able to do.
She pulled the blanket around her tighter in the hope that it would satisfy her fears in some way but it did not. This was not the first time she had been pulled into that same place. She had entered that same field before once. It was the day she had some how been pulled into Axel’s dream. She had started out in her the field and had been drawn in by a voice into the house in that dream as well. That had been months ago. Now, though, this dream was almost on a nightly basis.
The blood though, that was new. She had never harmed herself before. Not when she was a human but why now. She moved the blanket aside to look at her self inflicted wounds. They had slowly began to heal but it would take time. She needed to feed to help replenish the blood she had lost and help herself heal but she didn’t want to move from her spot. She felt safe in her blanket now.
Safe. She scoffed at herself. Why had she felt safe when she saw the blue eyes. She had feared the black holes, but as she saw them shift to blue, she felt safe. What was it about them. Her thoughts drifted back to the night she had been pulled into her sire’s dream. The form had not been there that time. Or had it? She thought back and she could not recall seeing these eyes, the blue or the black, but she did recall others. She could see the blue of her sister Ursa but they did not match and she could see the yellow of Paige’s eyes.
Paige! For some reason the voice in her head told her that Paige was what she need right now. She couldn’t understand why but her she found herself reaching over for her phone and sending her sister a text.
Hey Moonshine. If you could, would you please come over when you can?
She had no idea when or if her sister would show up. She laid her head back against the bed and thought again on the nightmare that was keeping her awake during the day.
