A Very Catty Fathers Day (Doc)

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
Catherine Nilson Cat rings the bell, then lets herself in. She has elected to change out of her thugish breaking and entering ensemble to a more respectful dress, and even brushed her platinum hair. "Hello," she calls. She has a box with her. What could it be?
Doc: Doc was in the back of hte house, when he heard the voice calling. "I am in the back." He thought it might be Mouse, or Tori. But he didn't remember telling them which house it was. Though in fairness, it was pretty easy to spot the one that had jsut finished its construction.
Catherine Nilson The young vampire took her time walking through the house. It wasn't decorated yet, but she still wanted to inspect. Her months of breaking and entering had proven useful in letting her tell exactly which direction and how close her sire was. She found him and offered a genuine, albeit lopsided, smile. Catherine had a bag slung over one shoulder, and the aforementioned box tucked under her arm now. "Hi."
Doc: "Catherine.. Hello." He looked her over, "You look very nice." Judging by the time it took her to get to him, he figured she was casing the joint. "What do you think? This is master bedroom.. to left over there will be the guest room.. you and Mouse can fight over.. though I doubt either of you will really visit that much.."
Catherine Nilson Cat spent most of her days sleeping tucked away at the Eyrie, sometimes in Zoey's hut, but more usually faceplanted on a sofa with her arm and leg dangling over the side. She thought about visiting more. It did seem like a nice place. Not as crowded as the Eyrie, though. She had less episodes with less time to herself. She hurried to the guest room on the left across the hall. If he didn't follow her, he might hear her voice, "Cool. No, I'll visit a lot." She was going to like it here. Plus the housecat was already following her keeping tabs on her.
Doc: Doc pressed his lips together. He would have to tell her about Tori. "Catherine.. Cat.. " he followed her at a slower pace. "I will be asking Victoria to move in with me. She may say no. But if she says yes.. give her some space, please. For me?" He took to heart what Zodiac had taught him in regard to Minx and used it on Cat. "You can do that for me.. yes?"
Catherine Nilson She turned around and hugged the box tighter to her side. "Why?" she asked. The question was a little on the demanding side, but not a full blown complaint. She was willing to listen.
Doc: "I like her. And she tends to be a loner. I do not want her feeling overwelmed that she might be expected to 'mother' you or some ****." He looked at her "You can be demanding.. " he held up a hand, "I am not complaining.. I like you just the way you are.. but I would like for you two to get along. And not fight. Small meetings at first might be best, until you two find your place together. That's all."
Catherine Nilson Cat relaxed and handed him the bag first. It had a hangar attached. Before he opened it, she admitted "Oh good, I thought you didn't want her to know about me. Because of the... you know." http://www.wilsonsleather.com/product/m ... s&from=fn
Doc: He accepted the hanger, thinking 'she's already ready to move in.. it is like she has a sixth sense about properties...' He didn't look into the bag, since he thought it was hers. "No.. that one.. was" he swallowed, "my fault." He made a face, ""I think you will like her. You and she.. have common interests, and it .. ." he stopped, then resumed, "could be fun." Over the last few days since she had returned, he had found enjoyment in the little things. It was stupid and melodramatic, and he would die before he would admit it.
Catherine Nilson "I won't **** it up," she promised him. Then stared at him for a long time. Expectantly. "Well go on, open it," she said. "It's father's day." She spent a lot of money, because she hadn't been able to celebrate in thirteen years, when her real father had died.
