The Order

Basically I don’t have much, hell I don’t have any time to invest in Path these days. Life just got way too busy. I hate to think that everyone’s hard work with The Order to date has gone to waste. Some of you have developed some really amazing characters to be a part of it all and I have let you down as far as leadership with Verne goes.

I am willing to invest some time to help someone take control of The Order; this can be someone already playing a character in the group or a player who feels they have got the right stuff to run an anti-vampire group. Possibly suited to a people person (get on with most everyone without too much fuss) Obviously someone who has a lot of time for the role, and can dedicate some time to running meetings once a week, or less if the group is okay with that.

Willing to RP an upcoming / rise of a new leader or help you with a back-story. Also willing to donate a bit of time, money, IG coin, and property to whoever is willing to take on this massive challenge. I would like to keep Verne in The Order and possibly even play a small role from time to time (when I can find it) so I won’t abandon the project completely and can always be contacted on yim (I sign in biweekly to check off lines) or by phone (Text/messaging/call etc).

Let me know either by message or yim (west_potv) and we'll see what happens.

Feel free to ask questions.

Cheers.

I wish this a lot of luck, but I don't see it kicking off much. ...sadly. our vampire presence is way stronger and everyone had their factions or families in that vampire community. People don't even hunt alts of mains in fear of whatever, so having an alt himan starting crap with vampires isn't ever going to happen imo until we get new players. Because people will always pick their main to 'win' over their alt because their main is the one they love the most. In most cases.

The idea of Paladins killing Vampires to begin with is ridiculous because they just come back time and time again (which is why they never actually act + the alt thing), but I understand some people enjoy the RP all the same, and who knows, maybe in future things will change (Wishful thinking I know). It was a good group, there was a lot of fun RP and it just gives our Path community something else if they get tired of playing a Vamp all the time.

I love my lil bad *** paladin with a shitty attiude when it comes to those dirty *** fangers . Blood sucking scum of the earth she would say. She dosnt care if they come back she will still smash their teeth in with a baseball bat and see if they could drink blood from a straw for a week instead of biting someone . Its not the killing its the story that counts and the character development .

Surely the story and charrie development would only be added to by actually killing/attacking vampires? Instead of just giving it the big I am.

If you prefer the total 'grid experience' of the game, then yes I suppose one would find killing another persons player highly satisfying. Technically we have RPed some Vampires being killed, generally people who are leaving a character in favour of another and don't mind going out that way, but it's not for everyone. It's almost impossible for Paladin's to acquire enough levels to ever match the power of existing Vampire characters, but that doesn't mean a large group of them couldn't do a significant amount of damage (Problems with alts quickly arise here). I've always preferred, however, to respect what the group wants as a whole and see where things go from there. I would say most of them appreciate how things have been run in the past (Other than a few small incidents), which does not mean to say it won't ever change one day. I'm trying to give this away for the sake of the story though, not what happens on grid.

IDK about that.
Corwin did fabulous in the tourney.
But IDK if he's a pally or sorc. I forget.
However, even for a human he did well. Whatever his class was.

Obviously with Dominique I did both fighting and the writing. I have had a lot of feedback on the journey she has taken. She was and is loyal to the over all cause. Hitting everything in sight didn't get very far but she did anyways any chance she had.(until the alt thing kinda put the brakes on it.) I will say I have had a lot of fun writing her and have no intention of stopping. She has a RPP Level 20 attached to her for that reason. I love having the pleasure of writing her. She was against every odd as a paladin and still is as a vampire. To dismiss off paladins with no hope because there is no one walking around wounded by one is a bit premature or that ooc they are second to some faction main. Dominique has no clue she is written. Her story and journey deserves the same credit and place as Dulce's, Iris or Lyonel's. All should be told so maybe there isn't all the fighting there was before the alt thing slowed it down but there are worthwhile rps and stories to be written and explored. Yes, odds are the vampire will overtake all but doesn't mean they can't make it difficult for those who have fangs. Just my thoughts.

And Corwin proved there is some serious *** kicking that can be done by any human or paladin if the work is done. Lyonel is a believer. :))
