Frankly I am not sure if you are speaking to myself or Zakar's player. However, niether one of us are mind readers, nor do we know you (general) personally to know what issues one might have with fonts and colors. To say that using colors is done as an intent to harm is way out of line and totally off base.

Zakar's player is partially colorblind herself and has trouble reading the more muted tones. I myself have no problem using less bright and obnoxious colors now that I know there are people (such as yourself and Alex's player) who have visual problems when it comes to such things. There are better ways to handle an issue rather than complaining in an IC thread, such as using yim (which mine is posted) or forum PM. Until some one mentions something oocly (such as Alex's player did and eventually Katerina's player did) no one is going to realize it's an issue.

I agree. And while I won't name names? I do know of other players who share issues when it comes to vision. I appreciate your willingness to be more aware of the problems some of us face when picking font colours and I do know, that you nor any other player had anyway to know about other people's vision problems. That being said, thank you. :)

I don't have [severe] vision problems and I can't stand looking at some color codes tbh. Like Alex mentioned, the dark red/blue are particularly bad, the lime green is awful. Anything that has high saturation and high contrast - white is even bad - make me skip posts or, if it's actually 'important', I'll click quote to read it.

Not every one reads every post. I know I don't. In fact, until I made Darnell, I didn't read 'word on the street' save for once a month. I do not set out to "intentionally harm" people using font colors nor does any one else I know that uses them.

This, I have to do this A LOT. When I am writing roleplays, I always copy paste the other writer's posts into a word program so I can really read it properly and reply without any eye strain.

I think it's extremely unfair and inaccurate of you to state anyone is doing it to intentionally harm, troll, or cause problems. While you might have stated it elsewhere (I don't read every post) I have no idea of knowing what visual issues players might suffer from. A simple forum PM would have been an effective way of letting myself know there was an issue rather than accusations slung about in public.

I think is it extremely unfair of you to assume with 2234 members that each and everyone of them is in absolute perfect health, vision health included.

But whatever. Instead of apologizing you are going to keep trying to justify yourself, so I'm done.

I don't think anyone's being intentionally hurtful here, it just seems like a case of perfectly understandable lack of awareness coupled with a misunderstanding of intent.

There is no justification going on, I explained myself and I do not feel the need to apologize to you over the color I post in. I think that stating it should be a bannable offense is an extreme course of action to take, personally.
