In regards to the suggestion, I voted no. Team raids are team raids. If you're not sure if someone's won, ask before adding them to your team.

I voted yes. I think it would be fair to have that message and would even go one further to add that before anyone accepts an invite to a team? They get the same kind of message. "The person that sent you this invitation has already won... yadda yadda"

I like keeping elements of the game that allow characters to **** each other over without there being death.

Hmm. I see your point, if it was only possible for the lie to be IC. But what's to stop someone from lying for ooc reasons? Like they have an alt in a competing team, for example.

Nothing.

But if they've lied and screwed you over - don't invite them to the team ever again.

If someone is going to cross like that, they're going to somehow cross regardless of a message popping up on the screen. Having a message pop up just prevents actual, antagonistic RP/grid interaction that doesn't involve skirmishing.

I am not sure that everyone understands how the Team Raid "not able to win" thing works. I was under the impression that it worked like the other raids; you can win 1 raid of each type (other than Team raids) every month, the only difference being that Team raids worked on a 2 month thingy rather than a 1 month. Apparently that isn't correct. It is my understanding that Team raids use the calender divided into six 2 month periods (May, July, September, November, January, March) and when a team wins a raid they don't have to wait until 2 months from the date they won before they can win again. Each team that wins just has to wait until the next 2 month time period comes around.

So , if your team or a team you were on won anytime between one of the 2 month periods, you are unable to win until the next period starts.

EXAMPLE:

Team 1 wins March 13th
Team 2 wins April 30th

both teams would be able to win again on May 1.

Anyone that has been on a team that has won since May 1 can't win again until July 1.

Yes, exactly. Nix explained has explained it to me but sadly, Alex had already had two members of her team join that COULD have won if they had picked a different team. If I had had a clearer understanding, I would have advised those two players of the situation.
