Neutral Ground territory

This just randomly passed in to my mind tonight, but do we have any place that's considered neutral ground anymore? I think with amara leaving, the Necro has sort of...went...defunk (for lack of better word)?

I always liked the idea of one place being neutral ground/no violence and was hoping to see the Necro inspire other places where vampires can go and talk politics, or w/e without any fear of being killed/maimed, w/e.

My next question is...would anything like this interest our community?
It's actually possible to have a neutral ground area due to the eri's ritual, granted it would take a lot of ritual supplies/ingredients. I was just curious is all.

Maybe one place in the city that's not owned by someone could be considered neutral ground and a couple of people work on making said place neutral ground? Like someone or a few someone's ritual. Some collect the supplies, someone checks to make sure the area is in fact neutral ground by just going in and checking in on it. Whatever else is needed.

IDK. It was just something that came to randomly.

Yes, or no doesn't really bother me one way or another. If it is yes, I just want to make sure it would be a worthwhile investment.

I like the idea... as to where, however? No ideas. >.< Seems like no matter where you pick, chances are that someone someplace will not be happy. Just, imo. Getting everyone to agree on things is like trying to teach a pig how to sing. It wastes your time and annoys the pig. lol ;)

The Moonlight Locus Cafe is suppose to be neutral grounds. Has a place upstairs that's a sports bar as well, that would be the only public place. I know there are other locations that are privately owned that are the same way. Like the Triple Moon Temple, The Main Grounds of the Seren's Estates (which was more useful when people didn't have to travel through the sewers) for shopping, banking and creating things. I thought Robert had something that was suppose to be as such as well. I also BELIEVE the Mall is suppose to be as well but don't quote me on that one.

I think you are correct about the mall... but not 100% sure. However, if you mean the 8D mall? Then that place and the others you name are all player owned. Does anyone know for sure if the Buddhist Temple is or is not player owned?

The Necro was player owned too though so that shouldn't really matter.

Things that are more private owned IC (like the Estate can be locked or open to the public) is one thing. I'm not sure if the Necro could be locked down or not, I think every time it was locked down was due to someone's power. I'm not sure if Robert's place could be locked down or not though or if x-floors were private while y-floors weren't. The Triple Moon Temple has a private locked floor. The Cafe doesn't have that. If the Mall is indeed neutral then it doesn't have private floors to my knowledge either.

My bad. Was just going by the original post where I must have misread something.

No she does bring it up what you were saying. Yet she also asked if there were any places around that were indeed neutral and have been considered as such. If the point is to find a place where the majority come and meet, then using places we already have seems like a good idea to me instead of creating more (that's just my thought on it).

You guys are, I believe, missing the point.

Any home and shop owner is free to say 'no violence is permitted here' but if a hunting party still decides to break in and kill a target nobody else in the community is particularly expected to care where it happened.

The place in which the Necropolis had intended to provide was otherwise known as the Elysium, and that was only effective because the entire city would band together in outrage and kill any of it's perpetrators.

Any place that can be locked by a control panel/function I wouldn't see being a neutral ground.
Or a place that has an invite list. As it's possible to kick people out or remove them. I wouldn't consider that neutral.
I meant any public place that can't be locked without doing a ritual to lock a place down.

Sorry for the confusion.

And I can't consider a place to be neutral if no one has enforced that idea in some aspect. I know people who have been killed in the mall, for example.

Pretty much what Ripper said.
