--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--

Roderic: Thing Two. * Nods at her *

katerina: Thing One. -two can play that game-

Roderic: What did Nix say? * He crossed his arms at his chest, cleared his throat and looked around. * Reminds me about Thing One. We should cut him out of the line. Waste of space.

katerina: You are Thing One now. And Nix said she would meet us at the mall.

Roderic: Do we have to go to the mall to buy what we need? Isn't there some place that's not a mall? To get these things at?

katerina: I am sure, but the mall has the most stores. Something wrong with malls?

Roderic: There's more people there. But if we have to go, we should get going. Get it over with. * Nodded his head *

katerina: -eyed him- Such a brave man. Your courage is an inspiration to all. You drive? I don't have a car.

Roderic: You want me to drive? * He looked her over, judging what she was wearing. * I don't think you'll be comfortable.

katerina: Its either that or I sprint us to the mall. Your choice.

Roderic: Alright. Your call. * He shrugged his shoulders before he started walking off to where his ride was. A black motorcycle with some chrome pieces in various places like the kick plate, and twin exhausts. * Come on then. * He climbed on it and waited for her. Then decided to offer her a hand if she needed it. He figured most women would. Especially if they're in a dress. *

Phoenix: Nix hadn't bothered with a car. Beta was far too close to the mall to worry about driving, so the redhead walked. She loved summer, but extended daylight hours made for a difficult time running errands. Thankfully, she was lucky enough to not be overly bothered by the fading rays of the sun, but even so she stepped into the false light of the mall and out of UV rays as quickly as she could, and there she waited. The woman had nothing better to do, so she didn't mind. Arguably, she could have better spent the time she waited for the pair getting ready. While she didn't look nearly as rumpled as she had over the past few days, her hair was still a wild, tangled corona of flame. At least the black dress pants and emerald silk blouse made her seem a bit more put together.

katerina: -She grinned when she saw the bike. She walked over to it and hoisted her leg over, as if she was mounting a horse almost. She didn't know why a motorcycle made her so excited- Lets roll.

Roderic: * When she started getting on by herself, he decided to make use of the time and start the cycle up. When Thing Two indicated she was ready to go, Roderic pushed the clutch up, looked around once, then twice to make sure no traffic was coming, then took off to the mall. He knew where it was, but avoided it as best as he could. He didn't know where Nix was or when she would show up, so he parked the bike, cut the large machine off and put the kick down.* Did she say where she'll meet us?

katerina: No, but I will text her. -she said as she pulled her phone from her purse.- [txt] Hey, we are here. Where exactly did you want to meet at?

Phoenix: [text] I'm at the south entrance, waiting in the doorway.

katerina: [txt] We will be right there. She is at the South entrance. -she grinned at her sire-

Phoenix: She didn't reply - instead, she waited at attention for the pair to arrive. Ric's expression as he entered would likely be priceless.

Roderic: * He waited for Katerina to do what she needed to do and then for her to get off the cycle. When she did, he followed after her, knowing she knew how to get to Nix. She wasn't an idiot. * How long do you think this will take?

katerina: She lead the way, and there was almost a spring in her step from excitement. The idea of trying on beautiful gowns all night sounded amazing to her. "Oh, I don't know. A couple hours?" She grinned back at him. She thought that if she told him she didn't have any plans on leaving till just before sun up he would turned around and get back on his bike. And we cant have that. She she kept walking till she walked though the doors of the South Entrance. She almost chuckled when she saw the Matriarch of her family.

Phoenix: When she spotted the pair striding towards the door, one far more enthusiastically than the other, a wry grin curled her lips. Oh yes, this was going to be fun. As soon as the door swung open, admitting the pair, Nix beamed to Katerina, "Clothes shopping is going to be fun!" Though she'd looked to Katerina to greet her with a smile, her eyes remained fixed on Ric. She wanted to soak in his horror.

Roderic: Nix wanted to go clothes shopping? Nix liked clothes shopping? Things were getting worse. He didn't think things could get worse if she wasn't with Axel anymore. He had ruined her, but he ruined her more when he broke up with her. Ric still had to plot how he was going to make his life miserable. He looked away from Nix and from Thing Two to see how many people were in the mall. Too damn many. And they were going to be here for hours? He groaned, raised a hand to his face and let it run down it. Slowly.* It shouldn't take hours. I already told you what color would be alright. * He nodded and looked at Nix * You feeling alright?

katerina: Her sire's expression was priceless. She was determined to have in a nicely tailored suit by the end of the night. But she was also looking forward to girl time with his sire.

Phoenix: Despite the mess of her hair, Phoenix felt fine. Axel had shown his true colors and she wasn't even the least bit upset anymore - absolute rage had felt good. It was just too bad that Strix had essentially been erased from Nix's life. Oh well, she thought, people change. "I'm good. Really good." She grinned, clearly satisfied with Ric's discomfort. "We need to try on the colors - you can't just pick and go."

katerina: I think, just to be absolutely sure that we find the best tux of course, that he needs to try on ALL the colors.

Roderic: "Why not? I like darker colors. It's mostly what I wear. I think I look alright in what I wear." He protest, quietly before he changed the topic to her. "Good. It's good you're good." He said before shooting a glare at Thing Two. "So we're dating?" He looked at Nix and then at Thing Two and back at Nix. "Since we're hanging out together. This is dating, right? It seems more like tormenting."

katerina: Then would you look at that. We're already married.

Phoenix: She opened her mouth to say something, but then just as quickly let it fall shut. The redhead, for all her power, had nothing to say when faced with Ric's innocent little statement. "No... We are not dating... We're shopping," she pointed out gently before turning to lead the trio into the depths of Ric's personal hell. "I think he'd look nice in a nice charcoal suit, don't you? Maybe with some green accents. Shirt and tie..." She beamed, pointedly avoiding the topic of dating.

Roderic: Married? * Calix did say he was married and that married couples sometimes had other people in their lives. This whole dating and marriage thing was beyond him. Too much to think on. It was a headache. * Tie? We don't need a tie. I don't need a tie. Suits don't need ties. * He processed what Nix said and shrugged. * If a man and a woman, or in this case a man and two women are hanging out together, then it's a date. That's what I was told. I didn't realize hanging out had labels or titles. * He walked behind the two women, deciding if it got to be too much, he would just duck in to a store and shadow out. *

katerina: You need a tie because your suit needs a tie. -she looked back at him and noted his expression, so she fell back two steps and looped her arm in with his- don't even think about bailing.

Phoenix: "Suits need ties," she agreed, slipping into the first men's boutique she spotted. She and Kat could go dress shopping once Ric was set. i.e. before he ran away. "He needs something high end."

katerina: "I think he would look rather dapper in tail coats" she said, her eyes already starting to pick out the man's torture attire.

Phoenix: "Nah, coat tails aren't sexy or suave unless you're a conductor."

Roderic: No I don't. Just some thing hanging around is good. I'm only going to wear it once. As promised. *He reminded Katerina. * Yeah. What Nix said. * He smiled appreciatively *

Phoenix: "You'll wear it more than once," she corrected, gauging his response. He was smiling - weird.

Roderic: No I won't. * He was smiling because the second he was alone, he had a plan to get the hell out of here. They could pick him up any old thing to wear. *

katerina: Hey, don't argue with your sire. -she said as she pulled him further in to the store-

Roderic: It's not arguing when it's a fact. My work doesn't require me to wear suits.

katerina: Not everything is about work.

Phoenix: "No, but events do. I'd be sad if you didn't..." She blatantly would guilt him into suiting up.

Roderic: What events? * He asked her suspiciously as he moved around the store. Pretending to look at suits, as he checked out the layout of the store. *

Phoenix: "Formal family events," she followed him around, finally plucking a design she liked off the rack and shoving it in Ric's direction. The size looked about right. Now for a shirt. "Kat, you have any preference about color for him?"

katerina: "Anything but black. He wears far to much it as is" she said, her own face buried in a rack.

Roderic: We don't have formal events. * He looked at what Nix was holding and sighed. Suits were unnecessary. * I don't. There's nothing wrong with black. It stays cleaner. Or looks cleaner. Makes sense to wear it.

Phoenix: "This is charcoal," she explained patiently, holding the set out to him before wandering over to the shirt section. "Green? I kind of like these key lime ones... They're pretty flamboyant though; maybe we should start slowly. What about these ones? Indigo is in."

Roderic: * he took the suit that was passed to him then shook his head. * Key Lime? Sounds like a dessert. If I like this suit, can we buy it and leave?

Phoenix: "If it fits properly. You have to try it on."

katerina: Oh, and we need to find shoes that go with it.

Roderic: What's wrong with boots?

katerina: -she eyed him. Hard- I'll go look for shoes.

Phoenix: She looked at Ric. "Go try it on!"

Roderic: Ok. * They would regret telling him to go try it on. He didn't say anything else, he just went to the dressing room. Almost too eagerly. He hung the suit up, started talking about how he was in some sort of weird hell to himself. With Nix being all girly and Katerina working with Nix in this weird series of events, something wasn't right. With the suit out of his hands, a very small smile crept up on his lips before he vanished in to thin air. *

katerina: When he went quiet, he froze. "He did not just.." she mumbled, looking towards Phoenix. She walked towards the dressing room, and looked for feet under the door. "Get me the pinkest thing you can find" she growled.

Phoenix: She'd followed him to the door of the dressing room, and so she heard the muttering. More importantly, she heard when the noises stopped, just as Kat had. She glanced to the woman, clearly annoyed. "I have a better idea." Her hand went to the knob, trying it - locked. With a hiss, the redhead dropped to the floor and stuck her head under the change room door. "RODERIC," she shrieked directly into his mind, "You had better let me summon your *** back here. GET IN THE SUIT." And with that, she tried summoning him back into the changing room. She'd let Kat hear the screaming, just so she knew what Ric was in for, but a duller, more muted version of the shrieks.

katerina: She couldn't help but smirk at the grandsire. She sounded like she was going to skin Roderic.

Roderic: * He hadn't made it that far and it was almost tempting to ignore them both, but when he weighed everything out, he realized he was probably going to regret promising to wear a suit on the weekend if he didn't come back. He could just imagine how horrible it would be. So he stopped making his way under the structure and out the dressing rooms. * Fine. Black would be better. * He said as he returned back to where he was, thanks to Nix. * Men only. I think that's a rule. * He ducked down, now out of shadows and put a hand to Nix's shoulder, as if to push her back out from under the door to the changing room. *

Phoenix: She kept her head under the door, for all intents and purposes, looking like some kind of crazy person. "Nuh uh! I'm watching. You're outside the circle of trust, Focker." She paused, peeking over her shoulder to Kat, "I'll watch him. You distract the salespeople from me watching him."

katerina: -facepalmed as she went to distract and or protect the associates from the ongoing wierdness-

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--

Roderic: Can't wear a suit without a shirt. * He didn't know who or what a focker was, but he sort of understood the circle of trust reference. His attempt at trying to dressing room break meant Nix wasn't going to leave him unattended again. * No point in even using the room then. * As far as he knew no one else was in the area, so he shrugged and opened the door. He wasn't exactly shy about his body, he didn't really judge bodies for anything more than what they were worth and how someone treated their body. And since he had been a frequent jogger/runner and carried a few dead bodies around, he had taken care of his body in his eyes. Roderic kicked off his boots as he tugged the black t-shirt with white lettering for some divy bar off. * When you were an owl and I broke your wing, did I break your arm too?

Phoenix: When he opened the door, she was knocked to the side, but quickly righted herself. Huffing, she pushed herself to her feet, glad Kat was busy distracting. "Ric, you're supposed to change in the ******* changing room! This isn't proper mall etiquette!" Even though her voice was insistent, she'd tried to keep it lowered so as not to attract more attention. "You did break my arm, yes."

Katerina: She turned around to see her sire stripping in the middle of the store. "Oh my god..." She walked to the far corner where she 'accidentally' knocked over a large display of cuff links, sending the jewelry everywhere. As the associates rushed to clean it up, she apologized several times, and 'tried' to clean help clean it up, all the while making a bigger mess and wondering if she would ever be able to take the man anywhere again.

Roderic: Looking like a peeping Phoenix isn't proper mall etiquette either I bet. Who cares? No one is even around. * He shrugged his shoulders. * Thought I did. You're really going to watch me? * He didn't wait for an answer, because he was pretty sure that even though he was half naked in the store that she still didn't believe he would stay put. Which, he wasn't sure if he would either. So he undid his pants, tugged them down and then finished getting them off with his feet before he grabbed at the suit she picked out. * It's too light. * He said before getting in to the pants. *

Phoenix: She watched him undress, not to get any real kicks out of it, but just to make sure he stayed put. Then again, she did start rambling..."You suck at putting on a show. I think you should get dressed, then take it off for Kat and I. All... sexy like." With a nod, she left him be for as long as it took to dart out to the fallen display, "Go keep an eye on him, Kat. I'll handle this." The clearly irate clerk shot her a glare as she approached, but she didn't care. Money cured all woes, and when she fished out a checkbook, his eyes went from loatheful to dubious. "Look, my friend really has an aversion to suits and he needs one. I'll give you $20,000 if you don't call the cops or get us kicked out of the mall. And don't bother us in the changing rooms."

katerina: nodding, she headed back over towards her sire, though she kept her gaze adverted. Just enough to where he was in her peripheral vision, but she didn't have to stare at anything. "What about a dark purple shirt? Because you don't like bright colors..." she suggested absently.

Roderic: *Take a suit off all sexy like? Maybe he broke more than her arm that night when she was an owl. The quicker he could get out of the suit, the better. Nothing sexy about that.* Sure. * He would agree to any dark colored shirt just to get it on, get their seal of approval and get it off again. * Dark blue is alright too. * He said as another suggestion as Roderic finished pulling the suit pants up over his boxers and securing them with the button on the waist.*

katerina: Lets just get the suit picked out for now, Nix and I can get a shirt easy enough for you.

Phoenix: "Al....right..." said the clerk dubiously as he accepted the check. It was signed, and her bank account could handled it. "Thank you, I appreciate it." Turning on her heel, Nix stopped to pluck up a set of shirts for Ric on her way back to the dressing area. "I have indigo, like I suggested. It's indigo, not dark blue." She shoved it at him, then the navy one, along with the dark purple one. "Try them all on... and work on your dance moves, man."

Roderic: I don't dance. Ever. * He took the shirts and looked at the both of them. Great. An Audience. * Do I look like I dance? * He looked at Thing Two, expecting her to agree with him. Or at least hoping she would as he put the navy button down on.*

katerina: You totally look like you dance. -she said matter of factly.- I think you may have even been a stripper in a past life.

Phoenix: "Exactly! You must have been." She smiled, dragging over one of the chairs for Kat, and then pulling one up for herself. "I think lap dances are in order."

katerina: She lowered herself to the chair, but blinked when the woman suggested lap dances. Then though the chances of Ric going though with it was smaller than the chances of him wearing a neon suit, she still looked nervous at the suggestion.

Roderic: I don't. * He watched Nix get Katerina a chair and then get another. For what he presumed was for her. * You forgot the tie. I can't wear a suit without a tie, right? * He wanted to get out of here. He looked left, right, left and right again. There had to be a way to get out of here quickly, before Nix knew. * I don't know how to do lap dances. * That might have been true, but he had seen a few in the last week or so. For his work. *

Phoenix: She smiled, standing to back away from the pair to fetch a tie, keeping her eyes on Ric. She'd figured he wouldn't go for the lap dance, but his expression was priceless enough. Maybe she should quit while she was ahead. After a few moments, she returned with a white tie, patterned with navy and charcoal stripes that matched the ensemble perfectly. "Try this." She offered it to him.

Roderic: Katerina was sitting down. She wanted to see him do a lap dance? He didn't want to do a lap dance. Mostly because he couldn't do one. He was sure he couldn't pull one off. And because it was Katerina and Nix. Nix left and he took the opportunity to talk. * Maybe we should all wear suits since you two like them so much. * He heard Nix return and looked at the tie and then at her. * I bet it gets dirty easy. * He didn't grab it. He looked at Thing Two. * I don't know how to tie a tie.

katerina: -she stood and took the tie, walking over to him.- Maybe I do. -She wrapped it around his neck, and made a loop here, and an over there. Soon enough, she had completed the Eldredge Knot.- Hows that?

Roderic: * he waited patiently and then looked down at it. * I think it's alright. * He really couldn't be the judge of these things since he never wore a tie before. So he looked at Nix. Was she going to sit down? If she did, he might not have a choice but to attempt a lap dance.*

Phoenix: "Team effort," she cooed, and returned to her seat. She was trying, but it was hard to get a sense of what Ric looked like in a suit while Kat was tying the tie, so instead she shot a glance over her shoulder. The clerk was still busy adjusting the cufflink display. "You really did a number on that out there, Kat..." And she looked back. "He looks gorgeous! Just needs some hair styling and a smile! You look really nice, Ric."

katerina: Doesn't he? He cleans up nice! -she grinned at her sire, stepping back to take the view in.-

Roderic: * She sat down and so the challenge was put out without her saying anything about a lap dance anymore. Of course, the challenge was for both of them, so he put the suit coat on because he hadn't yet and needed to see if it would fit so they could buy it and get out of here and then pointed to the chair with a half wave, meaning Thing Two should sit down. Then he looked up at the ceiling, listening to the store's music, not really getting any help there. It seemed he was going to have to just wing a lap dance. Or some kind of dance. Oh well. He would do it and she would see he wasn't a stripper or any kind of dancer. Roderic tugged at the sleeves of the suit, obviously feeling awkward, but he just had to show them how bad of a dancer he really was. So they could shut up already. Since Nix was the one to lay out the challenge, he approached her first, moving stiffly until one leg was on the outside of her lap, the other in pushed between her legs, like the strippers did at the various clubs he frequented for his project until she allowed that leg to be where it should be. Then he put one arm on her shoulder, and began to gyrate his hips, like he'd seen the women do, rubbing against her left shoulder. It was perhaps a little feminine being that's all he had to work with from reference, until the other arm that hadn't been anywhere started doing the dance move known as "The Sprinkler."

katerina: She sat, as he suggested her too, then just watch with a brow arched.

Phoenix: At a complete loss for words, Phoenix sat there and let this happen. It was pretty bad, she'd have to admit, but she sat still, wanting to vanish into the chair. The next time she thought to torment Ric, she'd remember this. Her eyes flicked to Kat. Save me, that look said, but she was too horrified to speak. Eyes wide, she stared up at Ric, eyes flicking between his face and those gyrating hips. And then the sprinkler happened. Her mouth fell open in shock and she finally found her words. "Okay! You win, lets get the suit off, pay for it and leave." Maybe the promise of leaving the store would stop this. Whatever this was, it sure as **** wasn't a lap dance.

katerina: As soon as she saw what was happening to Nix, she stood and moved towards the clerk to check out. She didn't want any part in that.

Roderic: * Oh no. They weren't leaving. Katerina didn't have her turn. He would give her a dance, even if he had to follow after her. And he did. As she walked away, he came after her, moving his right wrist around in a circular pattern as he skipped after her. * Come here, girl. * The women had talked to him like that, though they used the term baby instead of girl, but that's what she was. A woman, girl. Same difference. If she stopped moving at any time, his hips were against hers from the side. At this point he didn't give a damn how he looked. He just wanted them to remember what happened when they tried to force him to do something he didn't want to do*

Phoenix: "... Oh my god..." she whispered in muted horror as Ric followed Kat out. She was glad to be rid of The Sprinkler, but now he'd gone out into the store, visible to everyone passing by in the mall area. This was technically all her fault, though, so she felt compelled to go to Kat and save her from Mr. Sprinkles. Yes, she'd call him that from now on. "Ric... You should not sexually harass your childer..." she reminded him gently, hesitant to get anywhere near that again.

katerina: She turned to Nix, her face full of horror. "He is... violating me. " she groaned before she looked over her shoulder to her sire. Then she broke out laughing. She couldn't help it. Her sire letting loose a bit, even if he did think it was punishing her, was awesomely funny.

Roderic: * He stopped only because there were more than two eyes on him now. * We'll take the suit. * He said, before headed back to the dressing room to get his things. He had won the challenge in his eyes. Both of them wouldn't ever ask him to dance again. Anywhere. Ever. He changed out of the suit as quick as he could and back in to his normal clothes. He had plans for this suit in the very near future.*

Phoenix: Without another word, she walked over to the register where the stunned clerk stood gaping. She'd finished cleaning up the display only to be met with... Ric. Phoenix cleared her throat, setting a VISA card on the counter before pointing out which articles of clothing he'd been wearing. The woman went off to retrieve the tags without a word. Once the numbers had been punched in and everything paid for, Nix leaned in, looking the woman directly in the eyes. "None of this happened. Make sure the security footage gets wiped." "Yes ma'am," the woman replied. $20,000 was a lot to someone like her.

katerina: Katerina eyed her sire as he went to get changed, and when he would return she would relieve him of his suit. She didn't exactly trust him with it, and she would be damned if she was going shopping with him again.

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--

Roderic: * Once he was changed, he came back and was fine with handing her the suit. He promised he would wear the suit she picked up tonight to the Altaire gathering she wanted to have this weekend. And since Katerina in his mind was an Altaire (there were Altaires and then there were others that weren't distinguished as anything yet), he wouldn't break his promise.* When do I get to see you two do a lap dance? * He looked at the both of them *

katerina: She blinked. "Did you hear that, Phoenix? Roderic wants to see two women give each other a lap dance. I think that might be the most sexual thing I've ever heard come from him"

Roderic: * He looked at Thing Two * I understand you might have reservations after following my act.

Phoenix: "He has had sex you know," she reminded Kat, though the thought made her shudder. She'd make him pee in a cup later.... if he even peed. "Ric, do you pee?" She asked, seemingly out of nowhere. And just like that, as they walked out of the store, leaving its nightmarish performance behind, she returned to the topic at hand, "I don't think he meant us to each other. I think he wants one each from us. To him."

katerina: "As intimidating as that performance was, I am sure we could accomplish something slightly better. Though I'll not do it in public." she chuckled.

Roderic: Don't you know what vampires do? Or are capable of? * He shrugged his shoulders, knowing Nix would know the answer to that.* Can I leave now? I got the suit. And tie too.

katerina: "You don't want to watch us model dresses?"

Roderic: Isn't that something you two should do? Alone? I can't be the judge of dresses. I wear those less than suits.

Phoenix: "You can tell us what you think looks nice."

Roderic: I like the looks of brown paper bags. They're reliable and can hold a lot in them. Wear one of those.

katerina: "I like the look of body bags too, I think you'd look great in one." she grumped at him.

Phoenix: She shot Ric a glare, hurt flashing over her features. "You think I'm ugly..."

Roderic: What? No. They're practical. Plastic bags rip and are made cheaply. Fine. I'll watch you two do your * he said the next word quietly * girl * as the next word was said regularly* Stuff.

Phoenix: This was like pulling teeth. "Are we looking for cocktail dresses or evening gowns or what?"

katerina: "I like evening gowns myself, you can wear what ever you like"

Roderic: Will you two lap dance while dressing?

Phoenix: She nodded, choosing to ignore the question this time around. "I'll give you a lap dance later, in private, if you stop complaining." She wandered down through the mall until they came across one of the more haut couture dress shops. "In here?"

Roderic: * He stopped complaining. Only because he wanted to get out of here sooner than later. He didn't take the offer serious. Nix didn't seem the type to give lap dances. Like him. * I don't think either of you should wear evening gowns. Covers everything up. If you weren't as in shape as you two are, it would make sense to hide unflattering characteristics, but you're both not bad in terms of physique.

katerina: "Wow, you really have a way to make a girl feel like a goddess. I like pretty dresses. Its a girl thing, I guess."

Phoenix: Her head came around very slowly to stare at him, unsure whether or not to take that as a compliment. She was surprised he'd not commented on her emaciated frame and protruding bones. Then again, perhaps the clothing choice hid it well enough. "He's very special." She sighed, wandering over to peruse the options. "What color are you wanting? I think I want olive."

Roderic: * Girl things. Always with the girl things. Soon they'll be dragging him off to buy purses and heels and make up. He was definitely going to shadow out of here if that came up. * It's the truth. * He shrugged * You two obviously cared about your appearance before you were vampires.

katerina: "Purple for me. Eggplant, Sangria, plum, the like. I love purples" she grinned, her eyes plotting her attack plan for the store.

Roderic : Black works for all occasions. * He added in. *

katerina: "You. Shush and sit." she said as she started wandering around, taking them all in, grabbing this or that and claiming a dressing room.

Roderic: * They didn't want his opinion. Good. He sat, not phased by it at all. * Ok.

katerina: He couldn't have been more incorrect. A few minutes after she entered she walked out in a purple dress, encrusted with crystals and shiny bits. http://www.newyorkdress.com/Aidan_Mattox/054454980.html )"What do you think of this one?" she said, asking her sire. She even gave a little twirl in in.

Phoenix: She shot Ric a look that could have meant anything, and then turned to the innocent little salesperson. "I'm looking for size 0... maybe 00... if you have any." "Yes, just over here." With a self-conscious glance over her shoulder, Nix followed the saleswoman and went about browsing. When Kat came out, she cooed to the woman even if she wasn't really being asked. "Pretty!"

Roderic: * He imagined some big poofy thing would be picked out. From the few movies he saw in his life span, Evening gowns were always some big thing full of material. Everywhere. So when she came out he was a little surprised. * That's all there is to that? That's alright. Was expecting something else. Bigger. That looks alright.

katerina: "Are you thinking of ball gowns? Totally different." she said before grinning at Nix. "Thank you! This will go in the maybe lot" she said before returning to the dressing room

Roderic: * He nodded his head. Maybe he was. He didn't know what dress was what. Once she disappeared, his attention went to Nix. Just to see where she was and what she was doing. * Did you find something? * He called over to her, elbows finding his knees as he slumped forwards in the chair. *

Phoenix: She'd collected a few dresses and slipped off into a changing room of her own. Moments later, she emerged, ensuring she kept away from the mirrors. No small feat in a dress shop. The green folds of material clung to her torso and hips, while the skirt of the dress flowed around her, slit rising to mid-thigh. "How's this...?" http://www.dhresource.com/albu_33343675 ... y-dark.jpg )

katerina: She poked her head out of her own room before a small gasp escaped her. "That is stunning!" she said.

Phoenix: "You don't think the slit is too much?" she asked, poking a leg out from beneath the fabric.

Roderic: * He stared at her. Phoenix in a dress? Things just got low. A record low. * You can't wear that. * He stood up and shook his head. * People will stare at you. Are people supposed to stare at you?

katerina: "People are most certainly supposed to stare at her, and this dress will do just that! The slit is fantastic. Its Sexy but still classy."

Phoenix: "Mister Sprinkler doesn't seem to like it though... I like it." She huffed, nodding towards Kat, "What's next for you? I'll put this one in the high yes pile."

katerina: She stepped out in a black number. Not purple, but she still liked it. http://www.newyorkdress.com/Black_Label ... 25BLC.html )

Phoenix: She assessed the other woman critically. The dress was nice, yes, but she felt the purple suited Kat far more than the black. "I like it, but the purple one was more vibrant. Better for your personality." She nodded and slipped back in to change into her next number.

Roderic: I like the purple better. Surprisingly. The green dress wasn't bad either. * He said, if Nix was listening. *

katerina: "Yeah, I liked the purple better" she said as she returned to the room and slipped out of it, then slipped her arm outside the room to hang it on a hook so it could be put back.

Phoenix: She stepped out of the room in her next choice. Something far different than what she'd expected to be seen wearing - a blue patterned Chinese inspired mini dress. "What about this? It's different." http://cloud.idreammart.com/media/catal ... 060041.jpg ))

Roderic: Depends. Do you want people staring at you or not? * He asked her. * If so, then no.

katerina: she chuckled as she poked her head out yet again. "What he said. Its a nice dress, but the first one... that was so elegant on you."

Phoenix: She nodded, accepting the criticism. "Maybe for a different kind of event." After a final glance down at herself, she scuttled into the changing room, ready to peek out for Kat's next choice.

katerina: Before she even came out of the dressing room she squealed. She stepped out, smiling. http://media-cache-ak0.p i n i m g.com/736x/ ... d9c034.jpg )

Roderic: That one's better than the last. Still think I like the first better. Maybe you should buy them both. They're both nice.

katerina: "I'll do that then. I love this one."

Phoenix: She peeked her head out, just herself having finished changing into the third. "Hm... That one's close to the first, but I'm not sure which I like better. This ones more fancy and elegant." For her part, she wore an indigo number decked with lace. http://images.newyorkdress.com/Items_Bi ... 156733.jpg ))

Roderic: That's better. * He nodded his head * Won't have a lot of people staring at you. If you go outside during the party. If that's what you're going for.

Phoenix: "Why is people staring at me an issue?"

katerina: "I think someone is being protective" she chuckled at Ric. "It looks really good on you. "

Roderic: Well if you like the first dress, get it already. I don't care much. This one looks good on you and so did the first one.

Phoenix: She eyed Ric curiously before giving Kat a nod. "I'll pull a you and get both. Eventually, I'll wear both. Just saves me a future shopping trip!" She scuttled back in, content with her two choices.

katerina: She grinned as she went to get changed back in to her street clothes. a moment later she returned with her two selections and went to be rang up. "She how much easier it to shop if try to enjoy it, Roderic?"

Roderic: *Thank ****. Both women got their dresses and were happy. And they didn't look half bad in them either. He stood up and nodded his head. He wouldn't say he enjoyed it. But he didn't dislike the experience completely. * It was agreeable.

katerina: She laughed."You're something else."

Phoenix: Only a heartbeat after Kat emerged, so did Nix, reverse metamorphosed into her plain black pants and silken shirt. After her grandchilde had paid, she did as well; she didn't even notice the price. "You enjoyed it - you could have escaped when I was in the room, but you didn't." She smiled as she made her way out with the pair.

Roderic: I was waiting for the lap dances. * He said as he left the dress shop. Maybe it hadn't been that bad. He wasn't going to let on to that. It was better than when he was trying on the suit. *

katerina: She left the store with then her two dress bags in hand. "Uh huh. Of course you were." she chuckled at him.

Phoenix: "Lap dances, you shan't get tonight. But you're still not allowed to leave, Ricky-boy." She smiled, trying to put the memory of the last dance behind her. Sprinkler... oh god.

Roderic: We have the suit and dresses. There's not really any reason to stick around. Especially if neither one of you are going to show me how a real lap dance is done

katerina: Then why don't we get our things put away before something happens to them and we have to take you suit shopping again?

Phoenix: She huffed, annoyed by Ric's reluctance, but she conceded; he did have a point. "I have shoes I can wear with this. I have a lot of shoes... Maybe we can let him off the hook?"

Roderic: No. I only need one suit. The only suit I'll ever wear. * He nodded his head, more to the fact he was agreeing with Nix. *

katerina: "At least for this occasion. You may end up needing a tux someday, you never know" she smirked at him.

Phoenix: "You'll need one for your wedding," she beamed.

Roderic: No I won't. * He shook his head. Then stared at Nix. * I think this is my cue to leave.

katerina: She chuckled at Nix's words. "I think we have tormented him enough for one night."

Phoenix: She grinned and nodded in agreement. "I think we have. Home?" She glanced to her watch and frowned - the mall would be closing very shortly anyway. Damn human hours.

Roderic: * They were leaving. Great. Never again was he doing this. Ever. * Home? Uhh- * He paused and looked around. * I sort of started a project tonight. So I need to head off to work. * He needed to get away before either one of them got any ideas. *

katerina: Anything I can help with?" She offered as she made her way towards the exit.

Phoenix: "Yeah, we could help," she offered, a smile on those ruby lips.

Roderic: Already missed your chance to help. I'll have to get my lap dances somewhere else. * With that disappeared from sight. Quite easily too since Katerina decided she was going to hold his suit hostage. What he said wasn't a lie. He did have work to do and lap dances were involved. Brief lap dances. *

katerina: She arched a brow towards Nix. "Has he always been this... different? Or was there head trauma involved somewhere?" She chuckled. She adored her sire, for who he way. She couldn't help not picking on him though.

Phoenix: "He was worse before he was sired, if you'll believe it," she admitted with a shrug. "You wanna stay at my place tonight? I can tell you how all that happened and it's not very far from here."

katerina: "Sure." She grinned. "Roderic forgot he was my ride anyways." she chuckled.

Phoenix: Smiling, she lead Kat out of the mall, chattering the whole while. "Did he ever tell you how he ended up sired? The ****** kept trying to sneak into my cave and this one time, he bit me... I finally had enough and bashed his head in with a rock. He didn't stay dead..."
