SENT 9:43 PM <P> What's your hulk number?RCVD 9:55 PM <M> 10
SENT 9:56 PM <P> Oh... Can I come sit on your shoulder and just... watch you kill things? I won't get in the way...
RCVD 9:57 PM <M> Im not killing anything right now but you can perch on my shoulder. Im needing the quiet right now
SENT 9:57 PM <P> Where are you? You're going to have to put me up there... I can't fly.
RCVD 9:58 PM <M> On the roof of Beta Towers. Sitting on the ledge.
SENT 10:00 PM <P> I'll mosey my way up there.
<Phoenix> After hitting send, she did just that. From Veil, it was a quick walk to Beta. The ride up to the 18th floor felt strange, but she knew how to get up to the roof from there. As soon as she opened the door, she shifted to the form of the tiny owl, and hopped over to join the hulking giant sitting on the ledge.
<Micah> He didn't mind the company. And she would respect his desire for no conversation. He just wasn't in the mood for it, not after the drama he'd dealt with the night before. Sensing she was close he turned his head unable to resist a smile as he caught sight of the tiny owl. He held out his hand palm up for her to hop onto, or walk. Whichever.
<Phoenix> There was a reason owls didn't usually walk around, she realized as she closed the distance between them. Their feet just weren't designed for flat surfaces. She bounced into the outstretched palm, talons clasping around a finger. There wasn't anything she needed to say, really, except... "This is your conscience speaking... If you decided to jump, put the owl down first...It's too stupid to fly."
<Micah> He brought his hand up and carefully deposited her onto his shoulder. The silence he'd been enjoying didn't last though, when she spoke into his mind it didn't piss him off. It actually amused him. "My conscience? I didn't know I had one of those. No worries the bitty owl will be safe."
<Phoenix> Once she was set on his shoulder, she sidestepped over to nestle in against his neck. If an owl could smile, she would have. This brought a whole new meaning to 'smile with your eyes'. She really didn't want to bother him, but she couldn't resist. "Pinocchio had Jiminy Cricket. You get Phiminy Owl." With a nod that could be felt against his neck, she settled in to enjoy the silence, watching out over the city.
<Micah> His smile grew just a bit but only last a few brief moments before it faded again. He waited until she was settled and turned his attention to the view of the city that stretched out in front of them. He felt silent, but knew she'd understand.
