I went to Silks, but decided against it.
Mostly because I had seen Strix that night. She knew me and I knew her, so if she caught me there, things could end before they began.
So I walked around the Coastside looking for a substitute.
There were a few clubs there of the same Caliber.

Deja Vu was the one I decided on for tonight.
It was far enough away and I had never been there before.
I intended just to watch and get familiar with the place.

But then I saw her.
She wasn't even dancing when I saw her. Just walking around the club.
She wasn't some stick and bones kind of girl with tons of silicone.
She was fit, but curvy.
Her hair was dark, but the length was close to hers.
Like Strix's.
She didn't look or act like Strix much at all.
Until she took me to a back room.

Their methodology seemed more or less the same.
The lies.
The way she maneuvered her body.
In front of me. Around me. By herself.
She reminded me of Strix a lot then.
But this wasn't about Strix.
Or was it?

The proposition spilled out of her lips one lap dance later.
Warm, inviting.
Would probably make most men melt like an ice cube on some asphalt some hot summer day.
I didn't enjoy any of it.
I knew I wouldn't.
The enjoyment would come later.
When she busted open like a mother ******* pinata.
If it worked.

Strix apologized, but I'm not sure why.
She wanted to make me mad.
Why?
I didn't do anything.
I don't think I did.
So why would she want to make me mad?

I went to a place called The Tripp Trapp.
Real dive.
Things got carried away.
Because I was mad.
Not for the reasons she thinks though.

She hurt Nix.
I know I don't know a lot of social codes or rules, but I know she hurt Nix.
Otherwise Nix wouldn't have said anything.
Otherwise Nix wouldn't be moping around.
I know who Nix is.
Well, not the girlie Nix who names her diary Willy.

The one that tucks away her feelings.
Her and I chased the other for months when I was a blood thief.
We both watched the other.
Even if she intended to kill me and not sire me.
I know her and I think she knows more about me than I'd like to admit.

Strix told me that if she does things that aren't right she should apologize.
Has she apologized to Nix?
I haven't heard that she had.

I didn't mean to lose my cool.
I broke the stripper's neck.
Why?
Because everything she was saying when she talked, I knew was a lie.
I told her to shut up.
She didn't want to do that.
Now I'm out a test candidate.
Hopefully next time will go down better.

What's with Strip clubs and their cheesy names?
Stopped in some place called The Landing Strip by the airport.
Clever play off the fact there is an airport a few blocks down, but it's still sort of corny.
After I got rid of that stupid wraith that's been shadowing me for who knows how long?

I followed one of the girls home after the place closed down.
Like I normally do.
Not like that. I wanted her to live until it's time.
She took me home, is what I guess I mean to say.
I had to pick a girl outside my ethnic background.
If I keep going after white chicks, they're going to assume I'm white once my plans come to fruit.
They still may. Most serial killers are white males.
We'll see.

Anyways, I think I'll stop at five.
Five's a decent number to see what happens, if anything.
So that means three more.
The second one doesn't count because I accidentally killed her.
But I mostly want to stop at five because I don't really enjoy the experiment part.
I just want the results.

I wonder if I could find someone to help me with the research.
Someone who would get more kicks out of the initial part of it.
Like a partner in crime sort of thing.
I've never thought of teaming up with someone before.
I blame Nix.
And Katerina; Thing Two.
For all the **** they put me through and make me do.
No, partners are a bad idea. If they are sloppy, they'll get busted and so will I.

I had some guy come to my shop the other night.
Telling me I owe him some cash.
Five grand to take his girl to the doctor.
Because one of his dancers is pregnant.
She claims it's mine.
Was Strix right?
Can vampires have babies?
If so, that means Nix was wrong.
No, I don't think it's mine.
Sounds like a scam.
Or it did.

Until that Strix look alike called me and started leaving me messages.
Says she's calling me and a few other guys to take a DNA test.
She's pregnant too.
I'm not taking any test.
For a few reasons. Mostly because of my work and any possible trail I may have left in the states.
I think all these strippers get together and run scams for cash.
I should have just killed them.
Would have been easier.

So far I haven't heard anything about that other girl, my third Doll in the collection.
From Cockeyes.
Again, with the ridiculous names for strip clubs.
But if strippers all hang together and scheme together, I'm sure I'll hear from her in a few days.

Just like I suspected.
Doll number three came knocking on my apartment door last night.
It was stupid of me to let her know what side of town I lived on.
This phenomenon seems theoretically impossible.
They can't all be pregnant, can they?
If they are, none of them are actual babies.
I'll have to ask Nix about this.
And then take care of it. All of it.
I'm finding this experiment and its results to be less and less desirable.
I should have been more selective in my picking.
Just to be certain of the results.
I don't think strippers have the best track record on who they **** and don't.

I think it's time to add another one to my collection.
Or start a new one.
That ***** will make a good addition.
Or the start of something new.
