A Discussion [David]

A slim figure walks around the corner, hazel eyes leisurely taking in the surrounding buildings as the woman holds on to the strap of her messenger bag. She smiles when the bright lights of the diner appear down the street and she quickens her pace to reach the place before night truly falls on the city of Harper Rock. Brushing her dark hair back with her left hand and mussing it a little, Wafa prepares to meet up with one who called on her to help. "I hope I can actually figure this out." She murmurs to her reflection, taking a moment to check on her appearance.

She pushes up the thin fabric of her sleeves, the white sweater adorning her torso gaining a large diagonal fold to it before she settles down again. Turning her head this way and that, she smiles finally and nods. A whisper escapes her to join the sounds of the night, "Good enough." Wafa turns and heads the rest of the way to the diner, stepping inside and moving to a table in the corner, away from the rest of the patrons.

A small message sent to the one requesting her assistance and she relaxes in the booth, pulling a book from her bag to read until his arrival. "I wonder what the issue is."

David sighed as he walked down to the meeting location. The place was a good location. Sure people would be around but if he kept it right maybe sway them to walk the other way if they got to close. Well he had choices.

As he enter he scan the joint. No one he found questionable. No one he lnew outside of Wafa he meet while slightly more insane and naked. No pale people. David took a deep breath and moved towards Wafa. "Thanks for agreeing to meet with me." He coughed shifting his weight from foot to foot he hadn't sat down. "Think you can teach me how to stop loving Kira?"

She pulls the bookmark out of her book from a page further back from her current one, placing it in and closing the paperback. Raising her eyes from the tabletop after hearing his words, she shrugs her shoulders and quietly says, "That could take some time and you might not ever stop loving her." Wafa slides her book back into her bag before gesturing to the seat across from her own.

"Did you want something to drink or eat?" A soft question as she leans against the back of the seat; and crosses her denim-clad legs under the table. Observing David while he makes his decision, she tries to take in his full appearance and tilts her head to the right before she leans forward across the table to send him the proper signals that she was interested in listening to more of what he has to say. "Maybe you want to start by telling me what you like about her?"
