The grid movement code has been pretty seriously optimised to cut down the number of queries the page uses. It should be running faster for most people.
It might not be noticeable if you're on a slow connection, but hopefully it will make a bigger difference when it comes to average load times, especially during busy periods of the day when lots of people are moving around.
We're hoping to do similar things with other high-traffic pages soon. Also, before the end of beta, I'm going to update the index movement page to make it run without refreshing the page each time, which should further speed up movement, and lower server strain even more.
As this was a change to the most important page of code in the game, please keep an eye out for bugs, particularly to do with humans, decoys, NPCs and traps.
