[Kira]

Kira walked the streets without much of a purpose, thinking. She wanted to fix things with Dru, she was the only family she had, at least blood wise, and besides her childer. Of course that was pretty much David and Reggie, and David was still an *** to her for the most part, at least the e-mails from him have been civil. She wondered if crownet would be later on, or even meeting in person, it had been a long time. Maybe she should stop getting so upset with him, it most likely what he wanted if he hated her so much.

She shook her head, no, enough time wasted on that man. She wanted her sister back.

The problem was, where was Dru? She hadn't seen her on the cameras at the house, she couldn't even eyespy her or track her. Had she left the city without saying anything? She couldn't be that upset...and David was half to blame for all of it.

She returned to Willow Court, checking on the flowers but turned towards the yard. She didn't want to mind message or phone call. This needed to be settled face to face, out here would be best in case she was mad enough to take a swing at her.

Kira closed her eyes, focusing on summoning her sister. She opened her eyes, "Dru, listen. I want a clean slate as it was talked about before. I would hope there would be less fighting now that David and I aren't married, but who knows. I'm sorry you were always in the middle." she said, moving towards her. "You can attack me if you want, if that will make you feel better...I just want things back to the way they were.."

"Dru..?"

Dru was completely unaware of how long she was gone. Or that she was gone at all for that matter. She felt nothing, dreamed nothing, it was just…nothing.

She felt a tug though, she knew that tug. She was being summoned. She fell to the ground, staring at the grass a moment. She touched it with her hand, this wasn’t right. She had been inside just a moment ago. At least that’s what she thought anyway.

She heard Kira’s voice behind her. She closed her eyes for a moment, before looking at her hands as they started to flicker. “No, no no no.” she murmured, hugging herself. She looked over at Kira, she heard what she said. No one fully knew what was going on with her, Kira was there when it happened first and David didn’t know at all, he never asked how she was, they hadn’t talked in a long time either. That connection slipped away a long time ago. She was feeling angry about everything lately.

Dru looked at her, “Kira…I can’t take this anymore..” she said, the flickering got worse as she started to cry.

At first Kira wasn't sure if Dru heard her but when she finally turned toward her and said something, it wasn't about what she said. Her eyes widened as Dru started to flicker. Had it gotten worse? Had she phased out and that's why she couldn't find her?

"Dru.." she said. Damn it, she was crying. She wasn't good with these things. "Dru...please calm down." she said, she feared the woman would phase out again. She grabbed a hold of her, "Dru, ground yourself. Remember I taught you how. It might help." she said, it helped her when she had to learn how to control her floating issue.

Kira hugged her, "You can't leave me...I won't allow it...just focus on grounding yourself to Mother Earth." she said softly, her grip tightening on her. She closed her eyes, wondering if she could help ground her with her own energy. All she knew was this had to be scary for her, there was no explanation of what was going on, it was a change she was going through just as Kira went through some changes.

Dru sobbed, clinging to Kira. Yes, she had been upset at her and David, all the fighting. She could have cared less if they all killed each other off. She just wanted the bickering to end. She hoped now that they were no longer in that fake marriage that it would be better. They were so caught up in their own problems, Dru had no one to talk to. She wasn’t sure who even cared about her. She wanted to fix things though. But she was scared of what was happening with her.

Ground herself? She remembered Kira talking about it during the full moon ritual she did. She wasn’t even sure she had done it right then. She closed her eyes tightly, slowly she started to calm down. She opened her eyes, the grip Kira had on her almost hurt. She rubbed at eyes, “Okay…I think…I’m better..” she said. She pulled away and sat down on the back steps, drying her eyes some more. She held her hands up, watching them closely, making sure she wasn’t flickering.

“Guess…I just need to learn how to control this.” Dru said, though she wondered if it was related to her emotions. The more upset she got, the worse it became. She looked up at Kira, “We’re fine…I didn’t like being in the middle of course.” She said, not that David ever listened to her advice. If he had, maybe things would have been different but since he was set on sleeping with whoever he pleased, she knew Kira would never be happy with him. Them being apart was for the best, for everyone.

“I did…read where you said this place is all mine now.” Dru said, “Not what I wanted.” She said, maybe she should find an apartment. “But I think I can understand why you left.” She said. “You enjoying the farm? …. I still need to meet this new childe of yours.”

Kira loosened her grip and let Dru go when she pulled away, stating she thought she was better. She nodded when she said she just needed to learn how to control herself. “I’m still learning to control some of the things that’s going on with me.” she said, she sat down next to her. “I’m sorry I’ve been so caught up with things, I always thought you were stronger than me…” she said, she knew she was going to get a look. “Mentally. You still got a lot of training to do to be as kick *** as me.” she said with a grin, trying to lighten the mood.

She felt better once she said they were fine. If Dru still wanted to be friends with David, she wasn’t sure how well that would work out. He lived in his own little world and didn’t listen to anyone else. She frowned when she said having the place to herself wasn’t what I wanted, but understood why she left. Kira nodded, “You most likely know this Gambat person and all that stuff but I know for sure I never got to do what I wanted with this place. I would buy out whatever that guy paid but since I don’t remember him, don’t see it happening.” She said, “If you want, can make your room bigger.”

Kira nodded, “The farm is great. You should come by some time.” She said, “Why not now? You can meet Reggie too.” She said, standing up and held out her hand. “Can just teleport us there.” She said, once Dru gave the ok and took her hand, she teleported outside the farmhouse.

“I’m still working on the place but you see we have fence, a barn, some horses. I still need to do a lot of work on the house itself though.” Kira said, then sent a message to Reggie’s mind that she was outside with Dru and he should come meet his vampire aunt.

Reginald was sitting on the new sofa in the farm house in his suit that cost him a small fortune. He had no idea where Kira went and it seemed odd to not know. She usually told him where she was going to go and lately there hasn't been much time apart from her. Especially after beating her in combat and fulfilling one of her requests to take a man wanting to date her seriously. It was nice to relax on the training and focus more on the base of a relationship with her. She didn't make it easy though he figures she probably still has doubts and would rather ignore the fact that he wants to grow closer than he already is with her. He sat there waiting for her like he did every night wondering what they were going to do today.

Hearing Kira's voice in his mind set a warm smile on his face and got up off the couch almost immediately after working out the message. His auntie huh? Well this was going to be a fun and interesting day after all. He had planned on asking Kira out on a date tonight but this was a very welcome foiling of his plans. He walked out of the house and spotted both Kira and Dru and raised a hand in greeting from afar before he rushed up close to them.

When he made it close enough he spoke up. "Hey Kira, was starting to worry about you." He said with enthusiasm which did not fade as he turned his head to look at Dru with a wide smile on his face. "It's very nice to meet you Auntie. I was starting to think that Kira was hiding me away from all the family. As you probably already know I am Reginald Black." He said his smile growing slightly as he continued to look at her excitement coloring his features now.

So many thoughts and questions assaulted his mind but he decided to let them bounce around in his head for the time being. He still wasn't the most social individual out there, he still had quite a bit to learn from being a shut in his entire life. He really didn't want to screw up on his first impression with Dru because she was very important family to Kira and he is hoping that he could be family as well. He also wondered if it would be appropriate to call her auntie Dru or just auntie. Too many questions and just far too excited he decided to quiet his thoughts and wait for her to respond and see what is going on.

Dru nodded, she knew of some of the changes that Kira was going through. Were there more though? “I know you’ve had a lot on your mind..” she said softly. She raised an eyebrow at first until Kira said mentally. KIra was stronger than her, physically. “I’m not sure if my mental status is that good..” she softly. She did know about the Gambat thing but she wasn’t sure if Kira should relearn of what happened there. “I’m fine with my room..” she said.

She was offered to go to the farm now, Dru nodded and took Kira’s hand to be teleported there. She wasn’t sure where it was at anyway. She looked around, it seemed nice here. She could understand more as to why she moved. “Really? You have horses?” she said.

Dru looked towards the tall man. “It’s nice to finally meet you.” She said with a small smile. “It’s not hard to hide from the family…since there isn’t many of us.” She said. She was sure David wanted nothing to do with his new brother. “I’m sure the extended family, the Misfits will have a gathering or something. We seem to have a few new members lately.” She said.

Kira tilted her head at Reggie, "I'm a big girl, no need to worry about me." she replied. They were always together now it seems, almost joined at hip. Surely he could be away from her for a little while. She would return home, unless something happened. She had plenty of places she could safety crash at. "Besides, you would know if I'm really in danger.." she mused.

She ran a hand through her hair, "Yeah well, family is a bit complicated." she said. Maybe it was for the best their sire wasn't around. Their sire was racist, and was set on Kira being with a black man. Dru was dark, Kira was pale, she was a spacial childe, it had been fate. She believed in fate to a point as there were some things she just didn't understand.

She looked between the two of them. "Shall we take a walk around the place or just sit outside and talk?" she asked. She looked to Dru, "Would you be interested in seeing the horses?" she asked.

Reginald's smile grew quite a bit until he was literally beaming. He was so happy to meet Dru because regardless of how abusive his step father was and how just... Not smart his mother was strangely enough family is the only thing he ever really wanted. A real family it's part of the reason he likes Kira so much, she cares like family should. They don't fight over nothing and she is someone he isn't really afraid to be open to. He hoped he could form a connection with Dru as well. It was his source of happiness the connections this new world has brought. He has never been as close to anyone in the physical world like he has with Kira.

"I know that Kira, I would feel if you are in danger but that doesn't mean I don't worry. Just the first time you left without a word really. I know that anyone who messed with you wouldn't have a leg or an arm for long. Learned that for personal experience, you are very good at hacking off limbs" He said with a light chuckle.

Reginald's attention was back to Dru as he looked over at her. "I know it isn't hard to hide from family but you should get out more and do things with them. I know I for one have wanted to meet you quite a bit after learning about you. We should get together like this more often. Oh I don't have that many social skills by the way, I was a shut in my human life so if I seem strange or whatever I am sorry." He said as he listened to her about a Misfits gathering or what not. He furrowed his brows for a moment not sure what to say. He really didn't like David and never wanted to meet the guy because he really wishes he could just kill the guy permanently for what he put Kira through. He hurt her on a grand scale and he could never forgive a person like that. He was sad when they guy willingly got himself killed and signed those papers. He was looking forward to just defeating and killing him with Kira. His face soured at the thought of David and then spoke calmly. "Not really sure I should go, I wouldn't be able to calm myself really. Not good with groups and there is a certain individual that I just don't want to meet at all ever and under any circumstance." He said.

He smiled again though as he thought about seeing the horses again. It would do him good to see Kira interact with them. She seemed happy to be around them and that always filled him with warmth. He is so happy that he managed to give her that present. "I think we should go see the horses as well, maybe you two can ride them. I don't mind watching." He said

Dru looked between the two. He would know when Kira was in danger? They were that close? She smiled, this would be good for her sister, to have someone who cares about her. And it sounded like they did training. Dru needed to train but Kira might be the wrong person to do that with if she’s hacking stuff off. “Horses…yes I’d love to see them.” She said.

She looked at Regg, get out and do more? Well the Misfits weren’t one to judge her for how she ended up here, but it was hard to talk about that with anyone new. Either way, she just started ending up sticking to herself or just Kira. “You wanted to meet me?” she said. Sure I wouldn’t be getting in the way here? she added in his head with a giggle. She didn’t want to get Kira pissed at her for saying it out loud. She raised an eyebrow as he went on. “Oh, yeah I can guess who that is. Would kind of guess Kira wouldn’t want to go because of him as well..” she said, looking at Kira. She wasn’t sure what was wrong with David. He had told her at one time he did love Kira but he never did show that with his actions. But that was in the past now, it really was time to move on. If he wanted to be pissed at her for being fed up with them that was fine by her.

Dru looked over towards the barn, she could see the horses from here. “Really? I’d love to go for a ride.” She said.
