Party like a rock star! (Sangue and DC )

by Scorpia
She had been bored lately. Nothing was going on in the city. No one to really hunt and lets face it the normal vampires she pisses off on CN have not been around to taunt. On a happy note she did win the lottery. It wasn't a great deal of money, but enough to throw a kick *** party. Scorpia had been wanting to have a get together with DC for some time and now seemed like a perfect time.
It didn't take long for her to send word out. The internet is awesome like that. All Sangue were giving notice and she wrote a quick note to DC to invite them. Yes, this was going to fun. She just had to get things set at the club before tomorrow night. Picking up the phone, she called Dark Eden and started to place things into motion. The first thing was to make sure the bar was stocked. Then she needed security to be ready to keep out everyone but those who are Sangue and DC. This was to be a private party and she had a feeling it was going to be wild.
Hanging up the phone she grabbed the keys to her bike. She needed to go to the mall to check on her other business and to buy some clothes for the party. Just because she was married didn't mean she couldn't look good. Yes, she missed Helly but they had a strange marriage and she was fine with that. She threw her leg over her bike and put the key in the ignition and turned it. The purr of the engine made her smile. There was something very sexy about a powerful engine between your legs. She took off wheels spinning and smoking coming from the back tire as she tore down the road towards the mall.

The phone trilled.
She let it continue as she chopped away at the questionable lump of meat on the butchers table. She scooped up a percentage of the entrails and let them slide off the side of the cleaver into the boiling caldron. The mystic repeated this till the last had been deposited into the boiling corruption of green liquid, then wiped her hands and checked the phone.
Zodiac frowned a bit. A party. Parties were a mixed bag/dice roll as far as she was concerned. Sometimes they were a night to remember, but most times they were things she yearned to forget. It was not that she was anti social (sometimes that was the problem- she was too social) but she seemed to have problems catching the proper vibe for the occasion. Too happy, too somber, too open, too honest, all at the wrong moments. She never did it maliciously, it just happened.
Sangue and the DC crowd. Well, depending on who showed up she could try and limit her conversations. She blinked at the bit about proper attire. Club wear? Who the fark did Scorp think she was? The closest she came to wearing anything remotely near 'skank-wear' (as she considered it) was in private and not for the masses at large.
Oh well, she would figure out something, she supposed. Not club wear though. The gypsy bristled at the thought. She took her phone and typed out a quick reply.
Will see what I can do and hit SEND.
The phone returned to her apron pocket and she gave the contents of the caldron a few good stirs widdershins. A special client had requested this particular nasty brew and she could not be distracted now when she was so close to having it perfect.

by Elizabeth
Scorpia had sent an invitation out to those in her family through the Crownet areas. Elizabeth had to admit she was quite surprised, being the woman really hadn't seen or heard much from Scorpia in the last few months. The woman knew how it was, leading a family, no matter how big or small, so while she was surprised at the invitation, Elizabeth understood why it had been a while since the two had conversed in any mannerism. Of course, most the prior conversing had been through either Elizabeth's husband, or a childe or two of hers.
The woman didn't have much time to find a dress for the event, not that she had anything in her closet she had not worn before to an event, but she made do. While the dress was not fitted precisely to her form and at moments was slightly apparent depending on how the woman turned or angled her body, for the most part the cream coloured dress with elegant black design fit her nicely.
Once that was sorted, Elizabeth sent a text to her thrall to help her with her hair arrangements. While the woman was capable of performing a few miracles, hair was nothing Elizabeth spent a lot of time on, in this life, or her human life. Her right hand woman, however, was someone Elizabeth had spent some time getting to know because of various public or familial functions and would perform her magic on the blonde vampiress. The arrangement was nice and simple; the dark haired woman free to do what she wanted, when she wanted most evenings and on the rare occasion being called for a job by Elizabeth, for something she was good at and enjoyed doing. It was a nice arrangement in the mind of Elizabeth.
A pair of black heels finished the outfit, before Elizabeth let her mind flit into the one mind she was always welcomed in no matter what time of night, or whatever the circumstance may be.
I shall be at Dark Eden. Do not keep me waiting too long, yes? With that thought, the woman left their penthouse, went down the elevator and stepped outside. Blue hues searched left, right, up and down before she crossed the river bank with her shadow capabilities and made her way in to Dark Eden, curious as to what this event was about and how the woman, that married her only male sibling (that Elizabeth acknowledged), was.

Wake up!
No
Wake up!
**** you.
Scorpia Wake UP!
Evil if you don't go find something to do, other then bother me I swear I am going to banish you.
You always threaten that and never do. Wake up you have to get ready for the party.
One of these nights your nonexistent *** is going find yourself there.
She yawned and rolled out of her bed. Stepped on a shoe and almost fell on her face. Typical way for her to get out of bed. She walked a little more carefully to where she put her clothes she bought the night before and took them into the bathroom. A quick shower she dried off and started to get dress. Walking out of the bathroom Evil started in on her again.
You are wearing THAT?!
Yup.
Should a business owner wear something like that?
Don't care.
I am going with you. You are dressed for trouble.
No you are not! You are staying here!
You are married! What would your husband say?
I don't know. Go find him and ask him. By the way good luck with finding him.
With that said Scorpia finished putting on her shoes and grabbed her jacket and bike keys. She needed to get to the club to set up a few things before vampires arrived.
At the club she spoke to the bouncers. No one was allowed in unless they are of the Sangue or DC blood line. This was a private party and she didn't want any party crashers to ruin it. Next on the list was to bartenders and wait staff. The bar had to be stocked and her staff needed to be sure that everyone was having a good time. She made sure her staff understood that if there were any **** ups then heads were going to roll.
The last stop was the DJ. He was ready and had music picked out for the night. Scorpia smiled and thanked him for being up to par and told him that if all goes well he was getting a raise. Happy that things were moving along she went to her office to check emails and the security cameras. She was going to have fun tonight regardless of what her pain in the *** wraith thought. Now to wait for her guest to arrive.

by Mordechai
Mordechai slipped out of the 5th floor security wing just as his phone vibrated. Slaying the jorgo outside the door, he reslung the MZ and pulled it out, scanning the text from his sire. He rolled the words over in his mind as he closed his eyes and assessed his body from the inside out. Nodding to himself, he decided it wouldn't hurt to leave for a bit, he could do with a snack, and a visit to Cai's crypt. Then if kennedy was up to it, they could hit up Eden for the party. With a burst of speed he shot across the floor, burning down the stairs and out to his Judge, faster than a human eye could follow. Kicking the starter he sent a mental command to kennedy to meet him at the apartment, followed by a quick mental ''I will try'' to the blonde maniac that had sired him. Shaking out his hair, a small grin graced his lips as he cranked the throttle and headed to the apartment.

by Alexandrea
Alex didn't know many of the Sangue family. She still hadn't even met everyone in Deux Corbeaux. So despite her melancholy mood, she bought herself a new dress and got her hair done. Despite the instructions to wear something sexy, Alexandrea went with something a bit more elegant. She didn't even bother to invite Odin and had no interest to attracting the attention of any other males. It was starting to seem as if she would end up going stag everywhere in the future.
It was 2014, however. A woman, be she human or vampire, had no need of a man to have a complete and fulfilling life. At least that was what Alexandrea kept reminding herself.
Her driver, Alanoth, hadn't answered his messages in awhile so Alex called a cab. She didn't feel like running or taking the train dressed up as she was. Getting out at the club, Alex looked up at Dark Eden before she went in. She hadn't been there in over a year but it hadn't changed. It still looked fresh and new. And it still smelled wonderful when she went in, and walked passed the privacy hedges. Alex smiled, she always thought that was such a lovely touch.
Looking around, she didn't spot anyone she knew right away so she did what she would usually do and headed for the bar. After getting her self a Hurricane, she wandered around the club with her drink in her hand in hopes of running into a familiar face.

by Corin Diechi
Corin had received the invite to a party and sent the invite to Knyte. She had been dating him for a while and fell for him. She knew he had a split personality and loved both personalities but she loved Knyte more than Rooke. She then smiled and went to her bathroom taking a shower. When she was done she got out and got ready to go. She slipped into a white gown and smiled at how sexy it looks. She slips her feet into her heals and does her hair looking to see the clock and then at her phone before walking down stairs and to the front door.
Corin do you think he will come since all the others broke your heart in the past.
Shut up Frank. He is different he was there when I was hurt. He helped me. I love him
He has two personalities.
Frank I know that. If I know how to get rid of you and the rest I would. You all drive me crazy.
You can never get rid of me.
Corin just rolled her eyes and closed the door and waited for Knyte to come and get her.

by Knyte
Knyte picked up his phone as he heard Corin's ringtone begin to play. He smiled and tossed his phone over to the couch as he ran to his closet to get dressed. He tried on a few things and wondered what he needed to wear. He figured you could never go wrong with a suit, so he decided on one. He had bought a few things ever since Corin had let him start staying at one of her places. He just hoped he didn't get Zombie bits on it when he left. The Corvidae Flats were a nice place to stay, but the zombie's kinda limited who could rent there. He jumped in the shower after he found the right outfit. He cleaned up quickly and quite nicely. Once he was fully dressed, he decided to just use his celerity to pop over to her other place. He stopped just in an alleyway so that no human would see him. He stepped around the corner and saw Corin standing there. It stopped him in his tracks. He cleared his throat and moved up next to her. "Wow. You look lovely." He offered her his hand and frowned as he realized he didn't even own a car. He would definitely have to get one so he could drive her around. "So where is this party?" He offered her his arm so that they could walk together.

by Kayden (DELETED 1099)
He had gotten the text and seen both invites being as he was in DC and Sangue. A part of him wondered if he really wanted to get into a situation where he would end up mooning over the lost lady or probably making an *** of himself. But it was spicey's party and he was not one to disappoint her.
"Buck up and don't be a party pooper" Even saying it outloud sounded depressed, but he put on his casual happy face and felt determined to just try and enjoy himself for a night.
Driving to Dark Eden, he got out and strolled on in, taking advantage of his bartender status here, he went behind the bar to grab a drink for himself before grabbing a back table and seeing who had shown up and who was late.
Unfortunately his eyes fell on the first person he had hoped he could avoid for the night, and said eyes barely kept from following his mouth dropping open. Of course she looked damn beautiful tonight. Sure, he was the *** who had let her go, but how much longer would this love **** hang on. Wasn't there a time limit or some **** like that.
Rubbing his forehead, he took a long pull, glad he had gotten whiskey as he tried to smile at the others he spotted and knew. Including Alex who looked down for some reason. Figuring he could use a distraction from the beautiful temptress, he slid over to Alex and slung a friendly arm around her. "Don't look down beautiful, we Q's have a rep to uphold at these shindigs yanno?"

by Shamus
Shamus was somewhat surprised whenever her thoughts were penetrating his mind. He originally thought that Elizabeth had been saying that she would go out of a kindness and nothing more. The words themselves portrayed to him that she was not that thrilled about it. He looked down at the equipment he was working with and shook his head a bit in thought. This was going one of two ways, she actually wanted to go, having either changed her mind along the way or had intended to go all along. That or she wanted to get him away from work so she can spend time with him. A small smile touched his lips as he thought about it more and more, work could be put on the back burner for a good while.
His eyes fell to Hooper. He had met the man by happenstance one evening, a twist of fate. Shamus had never even thought of having a human do his bidding, but the man reminded himself so much of his own self when he was younger that he had to give Hooper a chance. With a wave of his hand he motioned him to come closer, "Oi, come 'ere. I want ya ta do me this bit o' work." Usually Shamus would just send Hooper out for messages or deliveries, simple stuff. He had come to trust the man with being able to keep information a secret, but he figured if he could trust the man to do one thing he could do another, "Ya been watchin' me do this for a time, aye?" There was no response from Hooper, just the strong gaze back into his eyes. Shamus gave a small nod, "Well time for ya ta try it in yer own right." He did not wait for a nod, figuring there would not be one and left.
He traveled to one of their closer homes. Shamus often found it weird how they owned so many places, but at the same time it felt like it was a natural thing considering how many relied on them for things. He would need to change his clothes. It would be a casual setting, he knew and Elizabeth would probably want him in a different outfit instead of his working clothes. Usually he would sit and debate over which article of clothing would best fit for the outing, but it seemed to him that she was in a press for time and since this was just a casual party, he just grabbed a suit that he thought would work and got himself together.
Like usual, he would walk to get there. It would take a bit longer, than a train ride or using his gifts to get there, but Shamus figured that Elizabeth would forgive him for this at least. The scenery after all was something that could never be ignored, she knew this. So he settled on just arriving when he would arrive and do something flashy like kicking the door in or something. A quirk of a grin touched his features that only graced the right side. That would really get Scorpia's goat.
